This oil is a concoction of kesar, almond oil and olive oil. It gives a light yellowish tint in the bottle but comes out transparent. Its the lightest oil I have ever seen !! It just sinks into the skin and gets absorbed super fast.It has an amazing kesar smell which I lovee..
What the Company claims : A special ayurvedic preparation of aroma oils with pure kesar, the active ingredients like almond oil, wheat germ oil give nourishing effect to skin when massage.
Method of use : It is useful for nails cracking problems and gives nourishing effect to whole body. An ideal preparation for body massage.
Ingredients : Crocus Sativus ( Kesar), Prunus Amygdalus (Sweet Almomd Oil), Qlea Europoea (Olive Oil), Tripicum Sativum (Wheat Germ Oil ), Base.
MRP: Rs.130/- for 210 ml.
It does contain kesar strands which are seen in the bottle. It comes with a plastic cap tightly closed. So you can carry it around without the fear of it spilling.
Pros:
1. Its the perfect after shower oil..and gets absorbed easily into the skin…I use it on damp skin.
2. I use it on my face too..though its mentioned body oil but what it contains is nothing harmful and are just oils..its non comodogenic..it never broke me out..instead took care of my flakes in this winter.
3. Has an awesome kesar smell which is very light.
4. Its much better than those thick oils which makes one feel greasy as this is very light and seeps into the skin.
5. Comes with a tight cap which I have removed aside as I am not carrying it with me.
6. Economical at this price…and its gonna stay long too.
7. I sometimes use it at night and wake up to a super soft skin in the morning.
Cons:
1. The packaging is kinda ok…some oil spills out while using in a hurry and spreads.
2. Does not moisturise enough the dry parts like elbows…and the moisturisation stays for just 3-4 hours in winters.
3. Availability as for all Khadi products.
4. For people who would want to keep it capped will have to risk their nails in opening the cap whenever you use it..

Would I buy it again: Yes I would..I really liked it..though I have not used Fabindia’s oils or Rogan Badam Shirin which i would like to try..but I would surely get this..
I got a Stylish Blogger Award from Leslie of girlysbeauty..Thank you so much Leslie..And I have already shared 7 facts about me here
Have you used Khadi Oils ? Which oil do you use ?
some of khadi products are really cool but they are not found easily, sad 🙁
well, have u seen new look of wiseshe? i’m nt able to see other’s comments there like b4, are u abl2 see?
The Kesar strands makes it look for real and the smell of kesar sounds good too…but sometimes I’d rather just use plain oils by themselves, but still sounds worth checking out!
@prerana: ya dats wat khadi has availability probs..ya i saw..even i dint see others comments..
@anamika k : ya do check it out…d smell is awesum..plus its not too expensive…worth a try..
Bhumika..Thanks for the post 🙂 I have not tried anything from Khadi, mainly because they are not that easily available here and teeny bit also because they don’t list all their ingredients – what gets clubbed as base they never say..like Biotique. This oil looks good though and 130 is a good deal na for use in winters especially..
@rads: ya..the base is not mentioned..dunno wat wud be mixed in oil as base :p bt i actually like khadi and biotique..n ya 130 is pretty gud n it works for me..so m happy..:)
I can almost imagine the heavenly smell of this oil. I use almond and olive oil separately but I guess this wud be better with its added benefit of kesar. Thanks for sharing Bhumika. Any idea where I can find khadi products in Mumbai?
ankita u get dem at Irla..n ders a huge khadi grih ahead of vt station..d whole khadi lane..u wud get most of the khadi thgs der..do try it..:)
