Liz Earle Brightening Treatment Mask Review

Solution: our fast-acting ‘minute’ mask instantly revitalises. Containing stimulating camphor oil and toning witch hazel to help give your skin a natural-looking radiance.

Use in the morning or whenever a quick fix is needed.

Naturally active ingredients include aloe vera to help cool and soothe, toning witch hazel and purifying white clay.

Not suitable for sensitive skin

Directions: Use whenever your skin needs a quick fix to leave it radiant and revitalised.

Apply to clean, dry skin. Leave for between 30 seconds and 2 minutes. Soak the pure muslin cloth in hand-hot water and gently wipe away residue.

Follow with Instant Boost Skin Tonic.

You will experience a slight tingling sensation. This is normal. However, as a common sense precaution, do not use on sensitive skin and avoid the lip and eye area.

Ingredients: Aqua (water), Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, Montmorillonite, Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) water, PEG-20 stearate, Silt, Prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, Panthenol, Cetearyl ethylhexanoate, Cetearyl alcohol, Cinnamomum camphora (camphor) oil, Parfum (fragrance), Citronellol, Hexyl cinnamal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde, Butylphenyl methylpropional, Linalool, Lactic acid, Potassium sorbate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Sodium methylparaben, Sodium propylparaben.

MRP: 50ml pump starter kit- £13.50
          50ml pump- £12.75
          50ml tube- £12.75
          15ml tube + 1 muslin cloth- £5.00

The kit consists of the mask and two muslin cloths. Its a short round pump dispensor. Since the dispensor is big..you need just a pump. You have to just spread a thin layer of it on face and keep it for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. It would dry off and you need to remove it with the muslin cloth which is to be soaked in warm water similar to the Cleanse and Polish.

This smells nice..It has witch hazel and camphor..so does sting a little for few seconds and is not recommended for sensitive skin. Though they suggest using the Instant Boost Skin Tonic..you can avoid it since already the witch hazel would tone your skin.

Pros:

1. Its the quickest mask or treatment I have seen till now. You just need a minute or two.
2. Has benefits of camphor oil, witch hazel water, sweet almond oil, aloe vera, green mineral silt and white clay.
3. One pump is more than enough..it would last long.
4. Tones and firms the skin.
5. Instantly brightens the face as claimed.

Cons:

1. Has parabens.
2. The effect is temporary..stays a day or two.
3. Availability is an issue. You can buy it here

Overall I did like this..but I wished the effect would stay longer or it would bring some change to the skin.

Rating:

Quality: 3.5/5
Value for money : 3.5/5

Overall rating: 3.5/5

Would I buy it again: No I don’t think so.

P.S: Product sent by brand for review but it has not affected my opinion.
