I attended the Anushree Reddy show at the Talent Box at the Source..she was a part of Gen Next designers..the upcoming designers get to showcase their collection and have their shows at the Talent Box..
Anushree is a Hyderabad based designer..‘Anushree Reddy’ has a blend of Vintage Flamboyant Flora fused with age old Hyderabadi zardozi to recreate the romantic old world charm. The design philosophy lies in creating elaborate silhouettes brewed with subtle prints, surprising embellishments along with passionate attention to detail. The label stands out for its burst of vivacious colours, drama, glamour, easy to wear pret and uber glam haute couture.A drift of pastels with an allusion of antique royalty is plunged into a burst of flora to present the ‘Dreamy Vintage Princess’ this summer.
There was a combination of lace, gotta patti, shimmer on florals..and the colors were a combo of white, coral, pink, bright yellow and pastels..the floral lining looked great too..overall it was a breathtaking collection..something every girl would want in her wardrobe..
Anushree’s line-up of 12 outfits included saris, anarkalis, lehengas and flimsy jackets in whites and washed out pinks with a touch of vintage rose prints. A perfect combination of Chantilly lace with Nizami zardosi…
She specialises in Indian wear. She retails her signature label from upscale stores in Mumbai (Aza, Fizaa), Delhi (Hauz Khas), Chennai and Hyderabad. One of her outfits was sported by Madhuri Dixit in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
