To style my skin within 5-10 minutes. I am writing entry for styling as well as makeup. Here it goes:
Skin: – To cleanse my skin, I would use Lakme Strawberry Face Wash, (i love using it in summers), use Rose water for toner and Lakme Perfect Radiance Fairness Day Cream for moisturiser.
Coming next to adding the oomph with Makeup, I would:
For my Face, apply a bit of BB cream or a little bit if Lakme Invisible Foundation and blend.
For my Eyes – Create a brown smoky eyes for an intense look and use lakme kohl generously on my waterline.
Lips – Top off with a light pink or peach lipstick. Currently, I am using Lakme Pop Tints In Peach Please. It’s a very pretty everyday wear lip color and stays for a good time.

1. Rinse with a face-wash and use a moisturizer with SPF.
2. Even-out skin tone by using a BB cream.
3. Eyes – Line eye-lids to define eyes by using an eyeliner pencil to trace upper and lower lashline. Smudge the lines a little so it doesn’t look too harsh. Use mascara to accentuate the eye lashes and open-up the eyes.
4. Swirl a little powder blush onto the apples of the cheeks to add colour and a healthy hue to the face.
5.Finish off the look by swiping a lip gloss which requires less precision (and time) than a liner-and-lipstick combo.
Anupama Eyyunni says
My 10 mins routine:
* Cleansing
* Toning
* Moisturisation (Lakme CC Cream)
* Dab some loose powder on top of it
* Line my eyes with Bourjois Smoky effect liner in Smoked Brown, to give my eyes a softer look
* Apply waterproof mascara to just accentuate my eyelashes
* Finish up my look by just applying a neutral or light colored lipstick (Lakme 9 to 5 Lipcolor in Scarlet Drill & Pink Bureau) and top it with Lakme Sheer Satin clear gloss.

5 minutes to style my skin before an important meeting – assuming that I came to work with a decent looking face –
1. Blot your skin using a tissue to remove all oil
2. Take a compact and apply it all over the face pressing the powder in
3. Take the compact sponge and dust it all over the face in a swirling motion to remove any excess powder
4. Reapply a light colored lipstick if required else simply apply a lip balm (chapped lips look disastrous!)
Since its focused on a work meeting the style is simple and understated – people should find me presentable but my face should not take away the focus from the work at hand 😉

If I have to choose between putting on makeup & extra five minutes of sleep I’ll always choose sleep. That’s why I’ve become a pro with quick fix things. First I’ll use a face wash & pat try with a muslin cloth.
Later a light, tinted base – BB or maybe CC cream. Once that’s done, I put put on a little mascara & then lipstick. If it’s a meeting then one coat of mascara & a neutral lipstick. If it’s a date then I’ll put on a bold lipstick & an additional coat of mascara for added oomph.
Swati Kalwar says
I am always running late so 5-10 minutes is actually the time I get to do my makeup 😛 My routine usually is
Makeup or no makeup CTM is necessary before stepping out. Who wants to go out with a skin that is not fresh and clean.
No makeup looks good without a good and even base. But since the time is a constraint I cannot go for a foundation – concealer – powder thing. So the BB/ CC cream comes to the rescue here. Does the job well and gives me a glowing and even skin tone.
Last but not the least some color on cheeks and a bright lipstick along with my HG Eyeconic Kajal and loads of eyeconic mascara to define eyes in case of a date. In case of meeting I tone it down with a nude lipstick and just a single coat of mascara.
shraddha says
Eyes 5 minutes: For more eye definition, extend the liner all along the lash line and smudge it lightly. Play up your eyes even more with classic, neutral shadows for smoky eye shading. And if you make a mistake, try a nifty eye makeup eraser.
Cheeks: 30 seconds Blush
This is a must for a fresh, healthy look, and an instant remedy whenever you’re looking tired. Using a blush brush, smile and apply powder blush to the apples of the cheeks, keeping most of the product on the high part of the cheekbones. Blend up toward hairline, then down, swirling the brush to blend.
Agnibanya says
Styling my skin in 10 mins before an important event, hmm, that’s tough…
O top a clean face, I will apply a mattifying primer to keep oil at bay, then add a BB/CC cream because these take the least time to blend, apply a creamy eyeshadow and blend with fingertips, and just add a few coats of a voluminous mascara. Pick out a lipstick of my choice, mostly bright, and ta-da, I’m done.
Tips for saving time:
1. BB/CC creams are usually sheerer in texture so it makes more sense to use one instead of a the full foundation application-blending routine.
2. Use your mascara at the base of lashes, they will add some dimension to the yes without looking over the top and save time on precise lining using a pencil or liquid eyeliner. A mascara with a curved brush like Lakme eyeconic Curling mascara will work great as it can easily reach the base of lashes.
3. Use a matte lipstick so that you can easily skip the lip lining step as well 🙂

I’m usually always running late when it comes to makeup as my unruly hair eats up all of my time
So this will be quick easy makeup looks for a date!
First of I’ll apply the Lakme CC Cream which gives me good enough coverage and evens out my complexions well .Ill dab some translucent powder to keep the oil at bay.
Then I’ll line my eyes with a wingled liner using my HG Lakme Absolute Eyeliner completed with a coat or 2 of mascara to open up my eyes.
Slight pop of color using a cream blush as the application is quick and easy to blend. I’ll complete the look with a peachy lip gloss 🙂

I am always late for my classes so i do not get enough time to get ready. I follow my daily CTM routine. I wash my face with Lakme Cleanup Clear Pores Face wash. Then use a good alcohol-free toner and apply Lakme CC cream. Lakme CC cream instantly brightens, refreshes and conceals my flaws. Then I apply my HG Lakme black satin kajal for eyes. If i have to go for a party or date i also apply mascara to give more definition to eyes. For lips i use a tinted lip balm for a normal day and Lakme Aquashine 3-in-1 lip color for special ocassions.
Get Set Blush says
I have a full time work and I every morning I have hardly 10-15mins to get ready.
Even after the whole dressing session, I will be left with 8-9mins to get my face ready.
All I do is, I would dab on the sunscreen
by the time, it gets absorbed, I apply the kajal and mascara, lipbalm.
Then apply a tinted moisturizer or mostly, I apply mousse foundation.
Set it with powder and apply a nude matte lipstick.
And the same if it is a date,
Everything will be the same, but I would love to apply red lipstick and a sparkling eye liner.

1. when I wake in the morning, i have a glass of warm water without brushing teeth, it flushes out all toxins, which is a natural remedy for oily skin.
2. Before leaving home i apply an aloe vera gel.
3. incase of an emergency meeting, i apply a bb cream to even out the skin tone and very light khol and apply a nude lip gloss or a lipbam. khol eyes and nude lip gloss do wonders when it comes to meetings.

My instant Skin Stylist tips:
My instant Skin Stylist tips:Exfoliate and add moisture; the combination offers immediate plumping that lasts several hours. Even gentle sloughing causes skin to swell slightly, making wrinkles less noticeable. Use a scrub with smooth, spherical beads that polish without causing redness (look for polyethylene at the top of the ingredient list). Follow with a lotion, a peptide that relaxes muscles and temporarily eases pesky lines.
Perk up your tired eyes by making them look more wide open by curling your lashes. Apply the eyelash curler as close to the base of your lashes as possible, squeeze closed to curl and hold for five seconds. If you’re too tired to curl your lashes, apply a curling mascara instead.
Apply a wash of a lavender eye shadow; this pretty shade helps to open up and brighten the eyes. Further emphasize the inner corner of your eyes with an iridescent highlighter to add a glint of shimmer.
Apply a washcloth soaked in cold water to your face for 10 minutes; the cool compress constricts blood vessels.

Keeping your skin stylish isn’t achieved through million cosmetics but through choosing the right product that suits your skin. In less than 5 minutes I achieve the best looks through the following routine mantra 🙂
1) The initial mantra that I follow before and after make-up is to cleanse my face with a face-wash. This keeps my face fresh before make-up and face free from cosmetic ingredients after make up.
2) Once cleansing is done, I generally prefer to use a moisturizer and a primer on my face as a base prior to application of foundation.
3) And then I take some foundation on my hands, using fingers which is the best means of foundation application I make tiny dots on my face from headline to neckline. Then I use a professional foundation sponge and rotate the sponge in a circular motion to achieve the best results of the foundation base on my skin.
4) Then I prefer to use a professional brush which is specifically meant for the compact application. I take some amount of compact using the brush and start the application beginning to highlight from cheek bone to hairline. I would gradually begin to complete brushing my entire face up-til the highlight looks perfect.
5) Then I use concealer to hide my dark circles.
6) I do take some amount of concealer and apply it on top of my eyes so that it acts as a strong base for my eye-shadow.
7) I choose an eye-shadow that is in contrast with my attire and I gently apply it using my fingers.
8) Next is the main product without which I never step out, Kajal !!! I make sure it is very dark and I generally prefer to get a winged look.
9) Post the application of Kajal, I use eye-liner to give a very light stroke on my eyes followed by a vibrant addition of my mascara.
10) Your cheeks isn’t complete without a stroke of blush, I highlight the areas from cheek bone to the hair line on the side. (I make sure I smile while doing this so that I get the right point from where I must begin the application)
11) Next I highlight my eye-brow using Kajal and I darken the edges of it to make it look sharp and natural.
12) Next I take some effort to make my lip color a little special.
But before that if I tend to wear a bright eye-shadow I always wear a transparent gloss on my lips so that the concentration and focus is towards the eyes.
However, when I do not apply eye-shadow/lighter shade then I wish to experiment quite a lot with my lips.
13) I brush my lips to remove the dead cells and then I do apply a lip-balm for moisturizing it. I dab a little amount of concealer on my lips and then begin the outline with a lip-liner that is capable of blending with all shades. Then I fill my lips with the lip-liner initially following which I apply the lipstick and remove excess color with a tissue. I use a lip gloss only on the centre portion of my upper lip and lower lip and give a final coat with my lip-liner.
With this mantra I do create a very stylish look everyday
The products that I have jotted down below are the latest ones that I use in my day-to-day life at present.
1) Just Herbs NoSun Jojoba-Wheatgerm Moisturising Sun Protection Gel.
2) Mac -Match Master Foundation SPF 15
3) Mac – Studio Fix NC40
4) Lakme Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick SPF 20
5) Maybelline Dream Touch Blush 05
6) Maybelline Colossal Kajal
7) Few Shades apt for my attire from Rhomlon Cosmetics 24 color eye-shadow palette.
8) Lakme eye conic Mascara
9) Maybelline Color Sensational 338 Midnight Plum Lip-Liner
10) Shades of Maybelline Super Stay 24 HR Lipstick
11) Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Gloss apt with the lipstick
Whether or not I win the contest, I hope that some of you here might have grabbed some amount of information from my post. Happy smiles for that 🙂 🙂 🙂

Styling skin is really an interesting part of life as everyone loves to have flawless fine toned skin. Below are the steps I follow to style my skin (I have normal skin with oily T-zone):
1. I follow my CTM routine twice a day and never miss it.
2. I always remove my makeup before sleeping.
3. I also love applying colorful makeup as it gives me a fresh feel.
4. Even when I don’t use makeup, I just clean my face with plain cold water to keep it fresh.
5. I use moisturizing soaps for my body and never skip to apply my favourite moisturizer after bathing.
6. I use gel based sunscreen for face and cream based one for hands and feet everyday before stepping out.
7. Top of all I give a good facial to my face every sunday at home itself. I follow the steps in order: cleanse, steam, scrub, pack and followup with a good moisturizer.
So this is how I prefer styling my skin.
