My skin has acne time to time.
My skin care tip is to keep my skin adequately moisturised in the winters. I use Ponds Body Lotion, Himalaya Lip Balm for my lips and Himalaya Foot cream for my feet. I also moisturise my face and hands well. I avoid using too much of chemical products that are harmful to my skin. I also avoid going out in the extreme cold without any proper sweater or jacket and scarf. I bath with warm water during the winters. I avoid using very hot water as it may affect the skin. I also drink adequate water, fruit juices and healthy diet that keeps my skin hydrated during winters.

Thanks for the lovely Giveaway.
Apple peel acts as an excellent skin cleanser. Gently rub the inner side of the peel on your face, in an upward direction. Wash it off with cold water & get an instant glow .

My skin care is to gently massage my face with fresh n cold milk cream (malai) mixed with few drops of lemon juice and glycerin every night & leave it overnight (though it feels a bit sticky for few minutes, but not for longer). It hydrates my dry skin enough for the next morning.

Another ritual that i follow every night in winters is to clean/wash my feet properly n rub petroleum jelly to soften the skin and cover them with a plastic shopping bag for some time so that the warmth soaks the petroleum into my skin and keep me tension-free from getting cracked heels.
My skin care tip:
Apply papaya juice on your face to make it fair and glowing also it’s helps to remove
Dead cells from your skin and repairs your skin.

Awesome giveaway Bhumi <3 🙂
During winters, I generally use a thick moisturizing body lotions (like the bath and body works one).. this would take time to get absorbed by the skin but its totally worth it as it will give maximum hydration.. also a good chap stick is a must for winter.. I keep a tub of vaseline ready with me all the time just in case I see some dry patches or skin roughness.. I totally avoid applying anything gel on my skin as it would make it more dryer..

Thanks for the giveaway, Bhumika! 🙂
This winter, it’s colder than usual and I’ve realised that I need to take better care of my skin more than ever. And I’m going to start with the simplest method of all- drinking lots and lots of water. In addition to drinking the necessary 8 glasses of water every day, I’m also going to increase my intake of liquids by drinking plenty of fruit juices and hot green tea. 🙂 This will ensure my skin receives the adequate amount of hydration form within. 🙂

Cracked heels are one issue that always bothers me, since that’s one area which is something you can’t hide especially while wearing chappals or open shoes. Our feet bear the brunt of carrying us everywhere, and end up cracked and flaky. 🙁 I will be applying heavy duty moisturisers on my feet, massaging them onto my soles and drier areas of my feet right before going to bed, and wearing warm socks to ensure that my feet absorb the moisture. Since it’s winter, it’s the perfect time to get my feet healthy and soft, while giving them the comfort and protection of warm socks, so they become soft and beautiful.

For winters I drench my skin with heavy moisturisation all the time. For body I replace body lotions with Body Butter with oil massage once in a week for intense nourishment. For face more moistursing face creams before hitting the bed and oil massage, curd massage, cream massage for making up the moisturisation lost due to harsh and drying winter winds. Hand creams is a must and always tag them along. I prefer the one’s with natural moisturisers like Glycerin, Shea Butter, cocoa Butter comaped to chemical ingredients and petroleum left overs..:)
I’m pretty lousy when it comes to skincare in summers but for winters I have to pull up my socks because winters here in the Northern part of India are pretty harsh and not taking care of my skin can leave me with severely dry skin and chapped lips and cracked heels and what not..So here’s my winter skincare routine that helps me combat all of these:
1. I always use shower creams instead of shower gels in Winters, and scrub my body once a week, and post bath I apply a liberal dose of body butters (because I find lotions to be not as much moisturising!!).
2. I take pedicures every three weeks to get rid of dry heels and apply foot creams before hitting the bed every night.
3. Switching over to more nourishing night creams because I get some dry patches on my face. Also I apply a liberal dose of lip[ butter to keep my lips moisturised.
4. I keep a tub of hand cream in my kitchen so every time I wash my hands (which is like more than 20 times a day), I get the hand cream ready, right in my kitchen so I don’t forget). In extreme winters, I also apply hand cream and wear cotton gloves to bed. It helps the hand cream to work more effectively and also protects the linen from getting greasy too soon.
The most important aspect of my winter skin care is srubbing, because creams and body butters might accumulate on the skin and make it look dull, so regular scrubbing regime is a must to make the skin look clean and bright and also help creams and lotions to get absorbed most effectively.

skin care tip- Always pamper your skin with CTM and Exfoliating so that it can breathe and stay healthy. In winters don’t forget to invest in a good night cream, lipbalms and a hand mousturiser which will help your skin to fight against the winter 🙂
