Accessories from Confusion Fashion Accessories

Accessories from Confusion Fashion Accessories

Hi guys,

Remember the accessories I showed you last time from Confusion Fashion Accessories, see HERE. Read all about them in the previous post or at confusionfa.com

This time, I got a few more pieces to show you guys.

Pearl and Mesh Haath Phool

If you have seen the previous haath phool and how I was obsessed with it, you have to see this one. I absolutely love this haath phool/hand harness and have been wearing this a lot! This is slightly different coz it has a mesh and pearl kada on one side and then connects with the ring, unlike the usual bracelet.

Pearl Drop Earrings

These cute pearl drop earrings which I wore in my youtube video HERE, I love how small and light they are yet look pretty, they are kind of ‘jhumkas’ which you can wear with not only your Indian outfits but also fusion Indo-western wear. I have worn them with my maxi dress.

Kundan Maang Tikka

I love maang tikkas, they make you look pretty instantly and you don’t need any additional accessories when you are wearing a maang tikka. This one has kundan which makes it look all the more pretty and it has maroon enameled stone which makes it perfect for most of the Indian wear and wedding sarees.

Kundan Saree Keyring

And, last but not the least, a kundan saree keyring. I was in search of a good kundan keyring which is not very heavy since a long time and this is just perfect! It can make any saree look much more pretty and well accessorized. Key rings complement sarees beautifully.

I love all the four pieces here, if I have to choose, the haath phool is of course my favourite, followed by the earrings and maang tikka. And if I am wearing a saree, the key ring.

I really love Confusion Fashion Accessories’ collection and also the fact that they keep adding on new stuff every month. I see new collection and different, unique pieces every time I check their site.

If you are looking for some accessories for your Indian wear, definitely check out Confusion Fashion Accessories. They also have some nice house decor items. cuff links and brooch for men, etc.

What is your favourite piece? Do let me know in the comments below.

OOTD: Two Diverse Outfits (Maxi Dress & Monochrome)

OOTD: Two Diverse Outfits (Maxi Dress & Monochrome)

Hi guys,

If you follow me on my social media, you must be knowing I had attended the Reliance Trends’ Tarun Tahiliani show at Lakme Fashion Week and I had to pick two outfits from the new Reliance Trends collection and wear one of it for the show.

I tried a number of outfits as you can see here..

Finally I went with these two.

First is this super pretty royal blue maxi dress which is from their in house brand ‘Fusion’ and it has an Indo-western feel to it obviously as the name goes.

I love the print on top, the fit, the flowy fabric, the color, everything about this dress and also it is super comfortable! I had been living in this maxi dress for entire day for 2-3 days in a row since it felt so comfortable.

If it would have been available in more colors, I would have bought all of them 😀 And guess the price guys!! It retails only for Rs.799/-!! Beat that. Definitely recommend checking out ‘Fusion’ at your nearest Reliance Trends store and buy this if you spot it! There were some other shirt dresses and halter dresses too which were quite pretty.

I wanted my 2nd outfit to be completely different from the first. Since the first was bright and colorful and Indo-western, I went with a monochromatic black and white semi-formal look in the 2nd.

I chose this textured white boxy top with an embellished neckline with a simple black pencil skirt. I love the waffle print texture and the neckline is super pretty. You don’t need any additional accessories with this top. This top was priced at Rs. 799/- too.

Other accessories seen in these looks are my infinity layered neckpiece and my hamsa hand harness. (Both seen HERE). I wore my silver Forever 21 loafers with these.

OOTD: Floral Pastel Blue Off Shoulder Dress

OOTD: Floral Pastel Blue Off Shoulder Dress

Hi guys,

If you read the previous post, you know we went to Trident BKC yesterday for lunch as it was Mr. Husband’s birthday.

I wore this pretty pastel blue floral off shoulder dress. I loved the dress but it is actually a bit loose and the sleeves were dropping, so kind of uncomfortable. I will have to find a way to alter it or fix it somehow. I love the pastel blue color and the floral print though, off shoulder is very IN trend these days.

I paired it with my new silver Forever 21 loafers and kept it minimal and silver in terms of accessories too. I wore this layered silver infinity necklace and a silver hamsa hand harness, my first hamsa 🙂

OOTD: 3 Outfits I Wore Recently

OOTD: 3 Outfits I Wore Recently

Hi guys,

I am back with the 3 casual outfits’ post. See more HERE and HERE.

This time, I covered three outfits which I wore to events/meets recently.

Outfit 1:

It is the same outfit I wore HERE, this time with different accessories and bag. I love this floral midi skirt and since it has red roses, this red crop top matches perfectly with the skirt.

I paired it with a simple gold statement necklace and my Daniel Wellington watch. The highlight of this outfit is this beautiful Suede by Devina Juneja wristlet. The Shaded Ring Weave Wristlet is made with lightly hand-shaded leather in subtle gold and silver. I love the shaded ombre effect and the gold chain is perfect to replace your bracelet. It is easy to carry around and looks so pretty.

I wore this at the The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Range launch recently. Did you guys see the vlog yet? Go HERE.

Crop top: HERE
Skirt: HERE
Watch: Daniel Wellington
Wristlet: HERE
Shoes: Shown HERE and HERE

On my lips: MAC Ruby Woo

Outfit 2:

The 2nd and 3rd are more casual ones, I am loving my new Levi’s 711 Skinny and living in them practically. I love how these are super comfortable. I always stayed away from skinny jeans coz I am neither thin nor tall for the skinny jeans to look good on me, Levi’s changed it all for me! I still can’t believe this skinny jeans not only flatters my body but make my legs look slender and nice. This is the first skinny jeans I absolutely love and they have other ranges like 311  Shaping Skinny and 312 Shaping Slim which look even more flattering and I can’t wait to try those.

I paired the skinny with my simple white tee and a black and beige Himachal print jacket. The jacket is currently on sale and only worth Rs.448/-! It is perfect for your dresses too and adds a light layer and keeps you warm. Since the entire look was more or less monochrome, I added a bright pop of color with my current favourite orange bucket bag. Bucket bags are back, ladies! I love how this bag is huge and fits my world in it (including my camera) and I carry it along comfortably. I love the orange and golden tassels hanged on the straps. The only thing is, I wish it came with a longer strap too, which usually comes with a bucket bag and makes it more convenient to carry. I finished the look with gold strappy flat sandals by Do Bhai from Myntra.

Denims: Levi’s
Watch: Daniel Wellington
Bag: StalkBuyLove
Tee: Marks & Spencer
Jacket: Oxolloxo
Sandals: Do Bhai (Myntra)

Outfit 3:

The third one is a simple, everyday outfit. A basic aztec print top with roll over sleeves, paired with Levi’s 711 Skinny again. I completed the look with a Daniel Wellington watch, black fringed bag and black studded ballerinas.

Denims: Levi’s
Watch: Daniel Wellington
Bag: StalkBuyLove
Top: Femella
Shoes: Steppings (From Fashion & You)

On my Lips: Oriflame The One Matte Lipstick in Pink Raspberry

I wore this outfit for the Asus Divas Meet recently at ITC Grand Central.

That is it guys, the 3 outfits I wore recently. Let me know your favourite in the comments below 🙂

OOTD: Pineapple Print Crop Top, White Lace Skirt

OOTD: Pineapple Print Crop Top, White Lace Skirt

Hi guys,

So as I mentioned in my previous floral romper OOTD, I have quite a few posts left from my December trip. After the floral romper, this was my 2nd most favourite outfit. I am kind of biased towards this dress too I wore at The Venetian.

Coming back to this outfit, it is another perfect beach outfit, well you can replace the white skirt with shorts. I did that later on when we had to travel on a bike. But if you are just relaxing or lazing around on the beach, then this may work.

I absolutely love this combo of pastel blue crop top with pineapple print and white lace skirt. I went with pearl and spiked bracelet accessories wise and my Only flip flops.

How I miss the beach and hammock. Also they had this wood table and a cut tree as chair..so pretty the entire beach looked.

Crop top, Skirt: Romwe
Flip Flops: Only
Bracelets: Mix

I hope you liked the outfit. Do let me know in the comments below.

OOTD: Floral Blue Romper

OOTD: Floral Blue Romper

Hi guys,

I haven’t done an OOTD since a long time, I still have 1-2 outfits from my December trip to be posted, so wanted to share them with you soonest.

This is one of my favourite outfits from the trip. I wore this blue romper at Havelock in Andamans, we went to the Elephant Islands where we tried a lot of different water sports.

I love these round mirror sunnies of mine on my beach vacations especially. I also wore this camel brown woolen kind flat top cap since it was sunny, again another favourite. I love flat top caps since they look much smarter than the usual.

And wore this ‘Cool’ letter necklace in gold and my flip flops.

Romper, Cap, Necklace, Sunnies: Romwe
Flip Flops: Only

I love the fact that this outfit was so comfortable and easy,it felt really good. I love rompers coz they are very loose and free sized, so one can wear it anytime and walk/sit comfortably without worrying. And you can wear it even when you have lost weight or put on weight or feel bloated, this works always and covers your belly too 😉

I hope you liked the outfit. Do let me know in the comments below 🙂 Also, what do you prefer wearing at beach destinations? It is mostly flowy dresses/shorts/rompers/culottes for me.

OOTD: 3 Casual Outfits (Part 2)

OOTD: 3 Casual Outfits (Part 2)

Hi guys,

Remember the 3 casual outfits I did last time (See HERE). I think it’s a nice idea to bring together some daily wear casual outfits and many of you liked the post, so I thought of continuing this series.

Here are another 3 casual outfits which I wore recently in an event or for a meeting or here and there..

Outfit 1:

The first outfit is this lovely blue, brown, white printed dress which has a tie-dye kind of effect. It comes with a belt which accentuates the waist and fits perfectly, also has a flare at the ends, love the way it falls. The dress is from Oxolloxo and it costs only Rs.518/- 😀 Steal, isn’t it? The sleeves are bell shaped and slightly long for me, I prefer folding them 🙂

I paired it with my black tasseled sling and tan brogues. For accessories, my favourite Daniel Wellington watch and layered silver dainty pieces.

One is my name pendant and the other is an infinity with love, both are from The Lieben Store on Instagram. Do check them out for some cute accessories. They have these small necklaces and rings to cute hair bands and wrist bands and a lot of other cute stuff.

Dress: Oxolloxo
Necklaces: The Lieben Store
Watch: Daniel Wellington
Shoes: Foot-in

Outfit 2:

Second outfit is this bright coral sheer shirt with metallic gold pointed collar clips. It is from a new Instagram store called ES Collection, they have simple but classic pieces and that can be customized to your size, also a lot of sizes are available. The best part is they are quite economical too.

I paired it with white straight fit pants and black studded ballets. My Daniel Wellington watch and MK Mini Selma sling completed the look.

I wore this outfit for a casual meeting. On my lips, I have the Maybelline Rebel Bouquet Lipstick in REB04 which matched perfect with the shirt co-incidentally.

Shirt: ES Collection
Pants: Wills Lifestyle
Watch: Daniel Wellington
Bag: Michael Kors Mini Selma
Shoes: Steppings (Fashion & You)

Outfit 3:

Midi skirts are still in trend and I believe they still would be for some time,at least 😀 I love midi skirts and have 3-4 of these. (See one HERE)

I had this pretty white midi skirt with red roses print on it. I paired it with a red crop top from a red co-ordinates set and a vintage looking leaf statement necklace. My Daniel Wellington watch, MK sling and gold ankle strap heels completed the look.

I wore this to the Lakme Pro Stylist Studio Launch here in Phoenix,Lower Parel, Mumbai.

Is their passion.

Why icustommadeit?
You’d be amazed how many companies don’t listen to their customers’ needs. The customers perception is not their reality. So the buyers wistfully accept the limited editions and end up paying a bomb!
In a world of stereotypes, icustommadeit is connecting the world at large to the creativity of the individual. With the mindset to help buyers and professional creators make serendipitous discoveries, offering the finest quality custom products, in an ever-expanding array of categories. Our mission is to re-imagine commerce in ways that make us dearly loved by both shoppers and sellers.

You can either buy from the variety of products available on the site and mind you, they have everything from jewellery to accessories, home decor, furniture, handmade shoes, clothing, painting, etc. or you can even get whatever you like CUSTOM MADE!

Now isn’t that amazing! There are so many times we love a particular product but don’t like the color or the glitter or an aspect in the product that could be modified. Well, now we can 🙂 That happens to me a lot as well, I hate fake diamante on clutches, clothing, etc., I completely detest it and wish it wasn’t a part of the item.

icustommadeit can alter and make things as per your liking. I absolutely love their current collection too, here are a few of my favourites..

1. Silver Merc Earrings

These gold cutwork earrings are to die for, so pretty! They can work with your Indian ethnic wear to fusion wear to gowns and so many other ensembles.

2. Foxy Eave Shoes

Open toed blue printed peep toes, they are studded with rhinestones and have a contoured footbed which makes it super comfortable to walk in. The front platform also gives support, so no more pain with heels! The print plus rhinestones give it a classy look and it would work with most of your Indian dresses and western wear.

3. Absynthe Designs Ring

Who doesn’t like vintage stuff? This double layered, leaf print, vintage chunky ring is all you need to add some finesse to your look.

4. Jaipur Watch Co.

A pretty, blue watch with real peacock feather at the centre of the dial and diamante all around it, this would look so regal with whites!

5. Red Georgette Saree

A classic red georgette saree with a heavy embroidered border. It is classy and can be worn on weddings and receptions with the right jewellery and accessories.

What are you waiting for? They are also offering a voucher worth Rs.500/- on new signups currently.

There are some things that I found pretty interesting and useful for most of us, on the website are customised leather jackets, phone covers, personalised gold jewellery and furniture.handmade shoes, funky sneakers, etc.

Also a lot of gift items like bike cufflinks for your biker friends, a doctor keychain for your doctor friends/cousins,guitars, bespoke pens, etc.

Overall, icustommadeit is a must visit whenever you are looking for something special, exquisite or a gift for someone. I highly recommend checking out icustommadeit for all your custom needs.

OOTD: Crop Top,White Culottes

OOTD: Crop Top,White Culottes

Hey guys,

An OOTD post today.I love culottes in monsoons coz they don’t get dirty from the bottom plus they dry out pretty quickly unlike denims. So culottes are your best bet in the rains. Also they give the look of a skirt with the feel of pants :p I had styled a pair of floral culottes last monsoon HERE.

This time it is a pair of white culottes and I went with a crop top. I love how the coral red crop top works with the white culottes. I was not too pleased with the fit of the culottes, but as the size increases so does the length and since I am short, it somehow clashes :/ I accessorized with a nice, chunky statement neck piece and let that be the showstopper of the outfit.

A simple gold midi ring, watch and brogues to complete the look.
