September 2017 Anniversary Fab Bag Unboxing + Giveaway

I am unboxing the Sept 2017 Anniversary Fab Bag today, I just received it. I got the August one pretty late and hence couldn’t do a review.

It’s an off white pouch, I expected something unique for the 5th Anniversary edition.

The theme for this month is The Object of Desire.

Products I got:

  • Sugar Tip Tac Toe Nail Lacquer in Deep Down Diopside (Full Size- Rs.299)
  • Iraa Insta Renew Multi Action Under Eye Cream (Full size 20g- Rs.490)
  • Tvakh Midas Touch Ultra Nourishing Lip TInt- (Full size- Rs.195)
  • Tvakh CE- Namom Lip Plumper (Full size- Rs.225)
  • Seer Secrets Smoky Rose Geranium Body Cleanser 30ml (Rs.72)

I love the metallic turquoise color of the Sugar Nail Paint. The eye cream also sounds good. I am not a fan of shimmery lip balms, so the Tvakh Lip Balm is not something I am very excited about but Tvakh has a lot of good skincare in general, so I might give it a try.

The rose geranium body wash from Seer Secrets smells really good!

Tvakh Lip Plumper does sound good, will definitely try it. Cinnamon does help make lips plump, plus it has argan oil.

For Seasoul lipsticks, I had an option of pick one shade out of 7-8 and I picked this neon purple. I was very tempted to pick the nude one but I have enough nudes and I am into bright shades and purples currently.

The total value of the products in this month’s bag comes to around Rs.1800-1850. I do like the fact that there are 5 full sized products and one deluxe sized sample. But I would liked a variety in brands. Perhaps instead of two lip balms/plumper, one could have been a full sized Neemli face mask/scrub.

Overall it is definitely value for money and if you like trying out new brands, you will like it.

May 2017 Sip Of Summer My Envy Box Review, Unboxing

Hi guys,

I received the May My Envy Box today. I absolutely love the watermelon print, it’s so refreshing and looks like water colours. Although the edges came a bit torn, the box looks real good.

The theme is ‘Sip of Summer’ this month and it’s a summer edition box.

Products I received:

  • The Nature’s Co. Mango Creme Body Wash- Rs.695/- for 175ml
  • Cheryl’s Dermashade Sunblock SPF 30- Rs.550/- for 50g
  • Fuschia Herbal Fusion Shampoo (Rs.450/- for 100ml)
  • Grecobe Green Coffee (Rs.70 for 5 sachets)
  • Omorfee Mellow Drizzle Skin Toner (4ml x 2 vials)
  • L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream, Reine Blanche Illuminating Cream and Serum sachets

I am super impressed with the first three products, the quantity is amazing, 3 full sized products! I have tried the Cheryl’s Sunblock before and it’s quite good. The Mango body wash is perfect for the season and smells yumm.

The Fuschia shampoo is little expensive for the price, but I haven’t tried haircare from this brand, so looking to trying that out.

Green Coffee is meant to boost metabolism and aid in weight loss and improve stamina, so you can try these sachets and see if you notice any difference, before investing in the bigger size.

Rest are small samples, the Omorfee toner looks interesting though considering it has sour honey, lavender, cucumber, rose, etc.

Overall, I would say I am pretty impressed and do recommend this month’s box. The total value of the products in the box comes to around Rs.2000/-

March 2017 My Envy Box Review & Unboxing

I got the March My Envy Box today, and after the previous Feb box, I was hoping they would step up their game and they did!

The theme for this month is ‘Relax. Renew. Refresh’. I quite liked the outer box packaging too.

Products I got:

  • Essence Lip Liner – Full size – Rs.129/- (1g)
  • Neemli Coffee & Cocoa Body Wrap- Full size- Rs.550/- (75g)
  • Wikka Beauty Potion- Full size- Rs.700/- (15g)
  • Eyova Hair Oil- Full size- Rs.590/- (50ml)
  • All Good Scents Rose & Jasmine- 2ml vials
  • Gardner Street Tea Glow- 3 sachets

I am so glad they have added 4 full sized products this time. And also all 6 products are an interesting mix from tea to perfume to body wrap and one makeup product.

Essence lip liners would be in red, nude and pink. I got the red one and I don’t mind. It would work with all red lipsticks.

Neemli makes very good body products and this is a full sized body wrap, quite excited to try this one.

Wikka has aromatherapy products and this is a face moisturizer with Aloe vera, Avocado and Patchouli and Chamomile essential oil, I would be trying this tom onwards. Smells really good!

All Good Scents makes good perfumes, I wish they had included small 5ml/10ml bottles. Even one 10ml would do instead of 2 small vials. Considering they are not pricey, slightly bigger samples are better.

Lastly we have the Eyova Hair oil, this has egg yolk extracts and I have heard mixed reviews about this one. Some love it and some hate it. I am not sure if I will use this as I am a vegetarian, also the egg smell is pretty strong of this one. I might give it a try or give it to a friend.

Overall the box has products of value above Rs.2000/- and I am pretty happy with everything. Highly recommend this month’s box 🙂

March 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

So as it’s 1st of the month, I got my March Fab Bag today. I know all of you are always excited about the Fab Bag unboxing, so I try and do it as soon as possible.

The theme for this month is ‘Go Get It, Girl’

It’s a dusty purple/burgundy colored bag, they had given an option to choose the bag too this month, out of this March bag and two previous Fab Bags, I went with this as I already had those and wanted something new. I love the color and the criss cross textured pattern

Products I got:

  • Seduction Las Vegas Lipstick 06 Nude Love- (Full size) : Rs.180/-
  • Sugar Tip Tap Toe Nail Lacquer 003 Burn Your Beiges (Full size) : Rs.199/-
  • Kronokare Flower Powder Face Toner – 55ml
  • Moha Herbal Shower Gel- 30ml
  • Ayorma SPF 40 Sun Block- 10g
  • Natural Bath & Body Beautiful Day Body Mist- 50ml

Though there are 6 products this time, the Ayorma one is a small sample, but I am glad they didn’t include that and give only 5 products.

I had the option to choose the shade in the Seduction Lipstick out of 4 shades, and I went with this Nude Love. I love this pinky brown color, perfect for everyday wear. There were reds too in the options, if you would like that.

I have tried Moha Herbal products before and quite like them, looking forward to this shower gel. It smells very citrusy and refreshing, perfect for summers.

I am glad they included the new Sugar launch i.e. the nail paint in this month’s box. I wasn’t expecting it, though would have loved a color option in that. I would have preferred a brighter, fun summer color.

The Kronokare Face Toner looks the most interesting to me, I like the spray bottle, would be using it from today. Kronokare makes chemical free, natural products and some of them are pretty unique and nice. I have some high expectations from this toner.

The Ayorma Sun Block is SPF 40 and has a herbal smell, let’s see how this one works. But a pretty tiny sample though, 20-30g would have been nice.

And lastly, the Natural Body Mist. Absolutely love the smell of this! It’s floral and summery, a lily-jasmine like mix.

The total value of the products comes to around Rs.700-725

Overall I would say it’s an ok bag comparing the prices of the products as none of the products/samples are expensive. You can go for it if you would like to try these.

Feb 2017 My Envy Box Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

I got the Feb My Envy Box today, the product card which as the theme name was missing in my box. But I saw it online, it’s the Indo-French Edition theme, so there are Indian and French brands in here.

Products I got:

  • L’Oreal Paris Magique Bold Kajal
  • Avene Micellar Water sample
  • Gulnare Gold Dust Highlighter
  • Votre Face Serum

There are 2 Indian and 2 French brands (Considering L’Oreal as a French brand)

I have already tried the Votre Face Serum, I had received it in one of my Fab Bag last year. I have two full sized Avene Micellar Water bottles and it’s pretty good. This though is a small sample size, good enough to travel with.

Gulnare Gold Dust Highlighter is a jar full of gold wax kind of thing. I can’t understand the base, but it gives a soft, gold glow. It’s very sheer though. Good for the body.

I do not expect L’Oreal Paris kajal in My Envy Box as it’s supposed to be a luxury box with luxury brands, also this is something which is available anywhere and everywhere, it is not even an international brand.

I did not like this month’s My Envy Box, even though there are three full sized products, none is interesting. I don’t recommend it.

Last month’s box was so good! I had really high expectations :/

Feb 2017 Fab Bag Unboxing & Review

I got my Feb Pucker Up Fab Bag today and quickly unboxed it.

I love the lipgloss and lip print on the bag for the ‘Pucker Up’ thing, it is absolutely perfect. And even the bag is quite nice for travel.

Products I got:

  • Sugar Liquid Lipstick Smudge Me Not in Suave Mauve- Full size (Rs.499)
  • Matra Holistic Lip Care in Kiwi- Full size (Rs.199)
  • Just Herbs Lively Clean Honey Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Gel- 50ml (Rs.230)
  • Batiste Dry Shampoo Floral & Flirty Blush in Cherry- Full size 50ml (Rs.299)

I had an option to pick one shade from the Sugar Liquid Lipstick and since I already had 4, I went with Suave Mauve which I didn’t have. Check the review and swatches of all 4 HERE

It’s a very pretty dusty nude mauve, great for fair to medium skin tones.

I love the Matra Lip Balm, it smells really refreshing and the ingredients has lot of good essential and base oils.

I have tried Just Herbs Honey Face Wash and Batiste Dry Shampoo before, like both. Glad I have it in mini sizes now, for travel.

Overall, the total price of the products in this month’s bag is Rs.1230/-. I wouldn’t say it’s a must buy but if you wanted to try Sugar Liquid Lipstick anyway, then you get 3 additional products plus the bag for just Rs.100/- extra, so that’s a good deal.

Jan 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

I know I am a little late this time in the unboxing of Fab Bag. I am at my parents’ place and the Fab Bag gets delivered at my place and from there I got it here today.

The theme this month is ‘Bring It On’. The bag is a bright pink clutch, it’s nice to travel along with and it fits many things in.

  • Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Lip Crayon in Mary Poppins (Full size- Rs.799/-)
  • O3+ Derma Fresh Mask – 50g (Full size- Rs.425/-)
  • MCaffeine Neem Caffeine Face wash (50ml) – Full size Rs.449/- for 150ml
  • The Nature’s Co. Fucus Anti-Ageing Cream (20ml)- Full size Rs.895/- for 50ml
  • Wella EIMI Perfect Me BB Lotion (6ml)- Full size Rs.900/- for 100ml

I had an option to choose one makeup product and Sugar Matte Lip Crayons were also a part of those options. I was confused between Mary Poppins and Rose Dawson and didn’t have both, but finally went with Mary Poppins as I have many nudes and this is a very unique bright pink.

Also liking the full size face mask, would be trying it out right now. Rest three products are deluxe sized samples. The face wash looks decent, not very happy with the anti-ageing cream, I would have liked a scrub or day/night cream.

I have the full size bottle of the Wella Perfect Me BB Lotion and it’s really good! The 6ml sachet should be worth Rs.54/- but the sachet mentions Rs.150/- which is more than 3 times the value.

Overall the value of all the products comes to around Rs. 1790/- I am happy with the lipstick and face mask. I love the Wella BB Lotion and would be carrying this sachet the next time I travel. I am not sure about the face wash and anti-ageing cream but I don’t mind trying those.

Also got a special discount coupon from Housejoy, INR 500 off on beauty services worth INR 999 and above.

The bag is pretty decent, not bad. Definitely worth buying.

December 2016 Fab Bag Unboxing

I love this silver black holographic kind pouch, it’s pretty.

Products I got:

  • Iba Halal Foot Massage Cream (Full size- Rs.95/- for 50g)
  • Natural Bath & Body Hair Mist (50ml – Rs.525/- for 100ml)
  • Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil Roll On (15ml – Rs.460/- for 60ml)
  • City Color Be Matte Lipstick Lana- (Full size- Rs.500/-)

I quite liked the City Color Be Matte Lipstick last month, so this month too when I was given an option I chose the same lipstick in a different shade. This time I chose a red called ‘Lana‘. It’s a beautiful cool toned red. I love the formula of these City Color Be Matte Lipsticks, very similar to the Sugar Cosmetics It’s A Pout Time formula.

I have tried Iba Halal moisturizer before and it was pretty decent, so looking forward to try this foot massage cream. Perfect time to try the foot cream.

I love Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula products and do have this oil. I like this roll on packaging more, very handy and convenient.

And last but not the least, is the Natural Bath & Body Hair Mist. Smells really good, but I am not sure if the smell would stay through the day. Again a travel friendly bottle.

Total value of the products comes to round Rs.1000. Overall, I would say it’s an Ok bag. Not a must have, but if you would like to try these products including one makeup product of your choice, then you can give it a go.

So I just got my November My Envy Box and it is so good, that I had to share it immediately!

First of, this box is beautiful! The summery pastel floral colors and design is so, so pretty! The theme for this month is ‘Handmade’, so all the products are natural and organic i.e. chemical free

We have all 5 full sized products in this month’s My Envy Box! This has to be one of my favourite My Envy Boxes in a very long time!

Not only that, all products i.e. the lip butter, lip scrub, body scrub are perfect for the current winter season. My lips are dry as a desert currently and I am only surviving on lip scrubs and lip balms! So I am glad I got those two. Plus a good body scrub is always welcome to exfoliate those dead skin cells on the body.

Hair Protein Pack also sounds nice, this one has fenugreek, Bengal gram and all things good! Definitely trying this soon!

And last but not the least, Kiwi Asparagus Face Pack! I have never tried this combination but kiwi is super rich in Vitamin C, so I am definitely most excited to try this one.

November 2016 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

I got the November Fab Bag yesterday late night, so I unboxed it today.

This month’s theme is ‘Ready Set Glow’. It’s a red colored pouch, I was expecting the bag to be of better quality, the paint had worn off from certain sides. Also it’s very basic and nothing fancy for the festive season which usually Fab Bag has.

  • Just Herbs Aloe Vera Facial Massage Gel 50g- Rs.445/- for 100g

I love each and every product in this month’s Fab Bag. I had an option to choose one makeup product and I went with the City Color Lipstick in Phoebe. I saw the swatches online and even read the review. It’s a beautiful shade and a very comfortable matte formula.

Phoebe is a pretty, mauve pink shade.

Veda Earth Under Eye oil has saffron, vetiver and lotus extracts. I have major dark circles currently and this sounds absolutely perfect. It comes in a roll on form, making it easy to use and carry along.

Just Herbs Aloe Vera Massage Gel has cucumber and soy lecithin. It smells herbal, but pretty decent. Aloe Vera Gels are amazing anytime of the year and for all skin types.

Natural Bath & Body Mist in Sweet Ocean is absolutely amazing, it reminds me of my favourite Davidoff Cool Water. I am all about aqua scents and this one is fabulous. Perfect for my handbag!

Though not happy with the outer bag, I am loving every product in this month’s bag. Totally recommend it!

Total value of the products in this month’s bag comes to around Rs.1050-75.
