Feb 2016 ‘Love & Makeup’ Fab Bag Unboxing

I just got my February 2016 Fab Bag and the theme for this month’s bag is ‘Love and Makeup’ as it’s the Valentine’s month.

  • Chamki Nail Polish in Firozi Blue (Full sized)- Rs.150/- for 11ml
  • Estee Lauder Perfect Clean Multi Action Lotion/Toner- (7ml)- Rs.4470/- for 200ml

I got the Spa Ceylon White Jasmine Facial Masque in the Dec bag and it was a month where you could select one product and I had selected this coz previously I had got the Cooling Foot Scrub in Oct and wanted to try this. Though I love this masque but I am still not done with the previous one and would have loved to try something else than the same product.

The Just Herbs Coorgi Coffee Lip balm is one of my favourites, it smells amazing (like filter coffee) and it free of chemicals, parabens and does not feel waxy. The most light weight lip balm I have ever used and I am glad I got another of my favourites.

Hikari Blush in Sun Kissed is a pretty milky brown shade, I thought it would shimmery and more like a bronzer coz of the name ‘Sun Kissed’ but it is almost matte with very subtle shimmer and it would a perfect contour shade for me. For girls who are fairer and lighter than me, this would make a nice everyday blush but I doubt this would show up on darker skin tones. It can also double up as an eye shadow and/or a transition shade for blending.

Estee Lauder Perfect Clean Multi Action Lotion/Toner is a deluxe sample and pretty good to try out for 6-7 days.

Chamki Nail Polish is again a full sized 11ml nail paint, the color is a nice, teal blue and very summery. I have never heard of this brand, looking forward to try this out.

Overall I would say I am quite happy with the full sized products and the brands in this month’s Fab Bag. The value of products are around Rs.3800-3900/- which is amazing for a bag worth Rs.600/- Definitely recommend getting this month’s Fab Bag.

June My Envy Box Review

This month’s My Envy Box is the bomb! I just love it..

This time its a bright coral box, I love the color <3 I like the revised packaging since April where there is only one card with all the product details and not 5 different cards. This month’s box has two full sized products!

  • Natio Meditate Hand Cream– Deluxe Sample 20ml

I am in love with every product this time which is a part of the box, there have always been 1-2 products in My Envy Box every month which have been my favourites, but I like all the 5 products the first time :p

A full sized Catrice Eye Pencil, I love smokey eye pencils which are perfect for those 2 minute makeup days. I am quite excited to try this and might review this soon 🙂

I am currently using the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Oil and Beautifying Cream. Though the original bottle is not that big to carry, but these 3ml vials are perfect for travel. I am loving the oil and these vials are definitely coming along with me, on my next trip 😀

Hedonista Chocolate Face Souffle is a chocolate and clay based mask, now who doesn’t love chocolate. Never tried this brand but the packaging and the mask look super yummy and nice.

Estee Lauder Pleasures is a classic, and I absolutely love its smell.

And lastly the Natio Meditate Pink Lotus Hand Cream which smells divine and works pretty well as a hand cream <3

To start with, I am in love with the packaging! How beautiful does that bow look!! There is no separate cap and you need to directly spray it. The complete soft pink and gold with a hint of black on the bow looks very classy.

Coming to the scent, I have always loved musky ones. Those warm vanilla, woody, musky kinds. Too floral or fruity is not my taste. When I first smelled this perfume, I was in complete awe of it.

Its the perfect blend of floral and woody. Not too woody and not too floral. It hits the right chord. If you are someone, who does not like too much floral, fruity scents but love the hint of it in between the woody, this is just perfect for you! Highly recommended.
