After the Faces Ultime Pro Eyeshadow Crayon, today I am reviewing the Lip Crayons.

It comes in 2 formulations i.e. Matte & Starry Matte, Matte is your normal matte crayon & Starry Matte has some shimmer. Today I am reviewing the shades Sugar Coated in Starry Matte & Midnight Rose in Matte.

It has the same packaging as the eyeshadow crayons. The crayons are colored according to their shades and have a transparent cap, they need to be sharpened.

The packaging is convenient and nice, but would have been better if these would have been retractable coz you will need to carry a sharpener everywhere along.

The texture is super creamy, they glide on like butter and are very pigmented too. You just two swipes for complete, opaque coverage on lips.

These are not transfer proof and transfer a lot on cups, glasses, etc. Also they do not survive meals and fade off from the centre. They stay for around 4-5 hours if you do not eat or drink. They will need to be reapplied after a complete meal and will stay for 2-3 hours with drinking or light snacks.

I would have like a better staying power though and also it not getting transferred on everything every time.

The shade ‘Sugar Coated’ is a bright neon peach with some fine gold shimmer. It goes a little patchy on the lips and accentuates dry patches.

The shade ‘Midnight Rose’ is a beautiful burgundy red, it goes super smooth and looks amazing. This shade would work on all skin tones and is also the most loved shade in this range.

Overall, I would say I like the Matte range more than Starry Matte, I am not a fan of shimmer, not sure if it is only this particular shade which looks a little patchy or all Starry Matte ones. These are again manufactured by Schwan Stabilo and are priced almost the same as other lip crayons in the market. Only issue is transferring and staying power.

I would recommend checking out the Matte Lip Crayons, especially the shade Midnight Rose.

This review has been long pending, I am reviewing the Faces Cosmetics Ultime Pro Eyeshadow crayon today.

What the Company claims: Back to the glamourous Hollywood days in 70’s-80’s, these beautiful eyeshadow crayons will make you feel like a moviestaron the red carpet.Describing these eyeshadow collection as elegant will be an understatement, these are truly super chic!

How to use product: Apply the shadow directly with the pencil tip onto the eye lid. Smudge the color quickly on the eye lids. Can also be used as a liner for most crease proof, stay on color

I am reviewing the shade ‘Staying Alive’ which is a gorgeous deep blackened purple shade with very fine blue shimmer. It comes in sharpenable crayon form. Both the eyeshadow and lip crayons have the same packaging with the transparent cap. I like the fact that the crayons are colored as per the shades making it easy to identify the shade. It doesn’t come with a sharpener and you need to either buy or have one of your sharpener for the thick eye crayons.

The texture is super creamy and these are very pigmented, you just need one swipe over your eyes and smudge it softly with a blending brush for the perfect 2 minute smokey eyes.

The shades Dancing Queen, Shes Got D Looks & Staying Alive are perfect for smokey eyes, either keep it soft for daytime smokey eyes by just lining thickly & smudging it with a pencil brush or go all out for night time smokey eyes by covering the lid and blending towards the crease softly with a blending brush.

It needs 1-2 minutes to set and complete your blending by then, once set, it stays put for quite a few hours. I won’t say it is completely smudge free, if you smudge your eyes a lot, it will spread a bit. But when undisturbed and eye has a primer base, it stays for a good 7-8 hours with very light fading.

The qty is half as that of lip crayons but then the qty you use for a lip product on every use is a lot more. This would stay a long time, though I don’t like the fact that a lot of product goes waste in sharpening and I prefer retractable option.

It is manufactured by Schwan Stabilo Cosmetics in Germany who make the best eye and lip products and most of the brands here get their products manufactured there.

Overall, I really like this and these are quite value for money, easy to use, convenient, travel friendly and economical. Highly recommend this. I would love if it was available in more colors though, Faces should launch more options in this.

Ingredients:

I am reviewing the shades Fuchsia Sparkler and Grape Martini today. It comes in a normal transparent round gloss packaging with a doe foot applicator.

Its like a liquid lipstick in texture. Super pigmented and rich, you need just one-two swipes for complete opaque color. It gives a glossy look which goes away after some time and the color stays on for 2-3 hours after which it fades away evenly. Its hydrating and does not require separate lip balm, non sticky and feels very light on the lips.

Fuchsia Sparkler is a bright fuchsia pink.

Grape Martini is a gorgeous grape color. (nothing like this in my stash) Unique and pretty.

So the pinks,reds and nudes might be common shades, I definitely suggest getting this for Grape Martini. I haven’t seen Hawaian Orange but that sounds good too.

Top- Fuchsia Sparkler, Bottom- Grape Martini

These are travel friendly too. Also the quantity is superb, though the price is slightly higher. I wish all brands came up with half quantity and price and mini versions, so that we can try to finish the products too,which usually never happens!

Overall, I love the shade Grape Martini. I like the pigmentation and ease of use of these Lip Cremes. These are indeed like rich,creamy liquid lipsticks. Though the staying power is normal, you can reapply them anywhere with ease. Definitely recommend!

Faces Canada Hydro Range-Makeup Remover,Cleanser,Toner Review

Ingredients & Directions:

All three come in a white bottle with a tight cap packaging. The cap is very tight and although that makes it good for travelling, a little difficult to shut it close daily when using it. The Makeup Remover and toner have spray nozzle and the cleanser has the small pump dispensor.

Makeup Remover is a watery liquid in spray form and does remove the makeup effectively. All three a part of the same regime and are followed one after the other. Removing makeup is the first step of course. Only issue is the eyes need to be shut tight and the lips too, or else it tastes horrible bitter when goes anywhere near the lips and stings a bit near the eyes. I use a separate makeup removing cream for eyes.

Makeup Remover, is followed with the Cleanser. Its a white colored lotion like a cleansing milk, which is just massaged on the skin and wiped off with a moist cotton. It helps in removing any extra dirt or makeup left behind from the makeup remover and cleanses completely well. Its not a foaming cleanser but just a cleansing milk, which aids the process of deep cleansing or removing any residue.

Last step is the toner, which is just sprayed all over the face. (You can either use it directly or spray on a cotton first) And then at the end I soak everything up by just pressing a tissue on the face. A Clarins skin care expert told me never to let toners or face mists dry on the skin as I usually did before, as that leads to more drying skin. It needs to be blotted out and never left to dry. The toner is very very mild and alcohol free. It tastes bitter too when goes near the lips, so mum your lips when spraying.

Overall, its a nice three step system that works decent and good to carry around too. I am not much of a toner person, but the spray ones still make me give them a try and I liked this one. The quantity of 100ml would last a good time and they are not very highly priced. Economical, and also make good travel companion.

By now, all of you must be knowing about these super gorgeous bright neon matte nail enamels launched by Faces.
 
I have reviewed 75 Ibiza HERE and 76 Bubblepop HERE

They come in normal Faces Nail Enamels packaging..the brush is awesome..no streaking or spreading out..dries quickly..and it stays and stays !
 
This shade is wrongly named as Bubblepop..as you can see Bubblepop is a bubblegum pink and Ibiza is a bright coral..
 
This shade is brighter then Ibiza..a mix of orangey coral and pink..I was thinking it might not be as bright as Fire Stick..but then there are no other shades left out of the 5 neon shades launched..
 
Goes opaque in 2-3 coats and stays for a long time..more than a week.
 
The brush is super easy to use and gives a nice, smooth streak free finish. It dries super quick..no hassles of waiting..its TOLUENE & DBP, Camphor and Formaldéhyde free. 

Perfect quality and good enough quantity..justified price..I have all 3 brights..Ibiza, Bubblepop and this..

Faces Long Wear Eye Pencils are indeed long wear and super creamy. They stay put the whole day and are easy to sharpen and use..I am quite amazed at the staying power.

Pros:

1. Stays put whole day !
2. Quite pigmented..just 1 swipe gives a good enough color.
3. Glides on super smooth..no tugging or pulling.
4. Economical.
5. Available in 9-10 pretty shades.
6. Safe for sensitive eyes..did not irritate on waterline too.
7. Sharpens well..without wastage.
8. As its sharpening and not mechanical..hygienic.Cons:

1. You need a good remover to take it off completely.
2. Faces Cosmetics is not available easily everywhere.

I have no other issues with these ! These are totally recommended and must have !

Ingredients:

It comes in a black case packaging with a transparent bottom..where the actual shade of the lipstick can be seen. I loved the fact that the majority of the shades are from the pink family. The case is quite sturdy and nice..
The lipsticks are super creamy and pigmented..these have to be handled with care and stored in a cool place in summers if you live in a place with hot climate as these would tend to melt..these are so pigmented that you need just a swipe of color to cover the lips..and the staying power is amazing too..I am quite surprised by these..as they score well in all departments..texture, creaminess, pigmentation, staying power..
04 First Lady is a bright carrot pink shade..now I was expecting it to be a lighter shade of pink but it is quite bright..I am wondering how much bright the other shades like Neon Dahilia and Ultra Pink would be 😀 Though the shade in one swipe can be an everyday shade for me..it does light up the whole face in 2 swipes or more..I quite love the shade and how it brightens up the face..and this shade is so versatile that it would look good on all complexions..whether you are fair or medium or dusky..you cannot go wrong with this shade.
Here it is on me..
Pros:
 
1. I love the texture..these are super creamy.
2. Quite liked the black sturdy packaging with the color of the shade at the bottom.
3. Very pigmented.
4. Most of the shades are from the pink family..there is one pink for each one of you..of your choice..if you trying to find some particular shade of pink..you should check out this range.
5. This shade instantly brightens up the face.
6. The staying power is amazing. It stays for a good 4-5 hours and leaves a pretty pink tint behind.
7. This shade would suit all skin tones.
 
Cons:
 
1. To be stored well..especially in summers.
2. Faces is not available everywhere and though its available online..sometimes it is important to check out the swatches on our own.
3. The names do not match the shades..Fiery Orange is actually a pink shade and French Rose is an orange.
 
No other cons with this..I surely recommend this shade to everyone and you would not go wrong with this shade. The range is worth checking out for bright shades..especially pinks.
