1. KANGANA RANAUT- Some people despite swaddled in the snazziest possible attire, fail to make a mark. Not Kangana Ranaut. Ever. This curly-haired lady is as fashionable as amazing an actor she is. Almost always in the good books of the Fashion Police, Kangana manages to send the audience into a tizzy every time she sashays in designer outfits on the ramp. Seen here is this powerhouse performer walking the ramp in Mumbai as the showstopper for Vero Moda Marquee. And she exudes aplomb!
2. DEEPIKA PADUKONE- A celebrated model and an equally renowned heroine of late, this leggy lass commenced her career in the showbiz by walking the ramp for a number of designers including some industry big shots. Seen here is Deepika swaddled a beautiful midnight blue bridal lehenga. The lehenga had zari zardosi embroidery all over. She walked the ramp for ace Indian designer Manish Malhotra showcasing his collection at the Delhi Couture Week. Noticeably, the collection was inspired by 1930’s. The colour palette includes deep shades like wine red, olive green, royal blue, mustard and gold. The collection has old vintage and royal look to it.
3. KATRINA KAIF- She looks as ethereal as a Greek Goddess as she struts the ramp for ace Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani’s spring-summer 2016 line. Inspired by the nomadic beauty of the Kutch desert tribes. Katrina and Aditya looked smouldering hot in the ace designer’s SS16 collection.
4. NARGIS FAKHRI- That pout sends all the selfie-addicts into a tizzy, doesn’t it? 😛 Nargis Fakhri is another top model who has walked the ramp time and again for ace designers. Seen here is the glamorous Nargis sashay the ramp in a Anushree Reddy lehenga-choli at LFW Winter Festive 2014. Her natural radiance adds to the beauty of the attire, doesn’t it? 🙂
5. SONAM KAPOOR- She is a Fashionista. Period. Swaddled in unarguably the most high-end designer outifts, Sonam makes sure all the eyes are on as she sashays the ramp every time. Seen here is Sonam decked in opulent jewellery from head to toe while beaming radiantly as she walked the ramp at IIJW 2013.
6. PRIYANKA CHOPRA- ‘Desi Girl’ has been the title that is aptly conferred on her. Looking jaw-dropping in this gorgeous lime green sari paired with a dove grey strappy blouse, PC walked the ramp for ace designer Manish Malhotra at LFW Summer/Resort 2013 Day-1. The sari boasted a delicate sequinned border and a slash of fuchsia across the border of the pallu. Side-swept waves and a rose pink lippie completed her look. Boy! I can stare shamelessly at her back unblinkingly 🙂
7. JACQUELINE FERNANDEZ- Sashaying down the ramp at LFW Day-2, Jacqueline’s million dollar smile lit up the stage as much as the shimmery bridal lehenga that she donned. She was swaddled in a glittering lehenga, fully embroidered long sleeved choli and net dupatta, along with beautiful jewellery to complement her look. She walked the ramp for top shot designer Anju Modi.

While the lesser we say with regards to the flick, the better but we surely do not disapprove the person(s) whose idea it was 🙂 After all, we got to see that this Hong-Kong born lady has a back that tantalises one to the T.
5. NARGIS FAKHRI- Miss Fakhri who is all the way from The States, has a pout that is the shutterbugs’ fancy to capture. A former model, Nargis posts about her diet and exercise routines on her Instagram account and fortunately, we now ken what that chiseled back of hers is a result of.
6. ANUSHKA SHARMA- Ms. Sharma who redefines pertness, vivaciousness and ebullience is not just a storehouse of energy and youth but also the proud owner of a sultry back that is well- flaunted here by her.
7. PRIYANKA CHOPRA- We, Desis particularly the ladies have some unique possessions just like women across the globe are blessed in some departments. And when swathed in Desi apparel, those possessions get highlighted like never before. Take a cue from the Desi Girl whose back here, can leave one both awed and amazed thanks to the way the saree is highlighting her curves.
The year 2016 is half gone. Yes we’re past June! So today I’m sharing some latest beauty and fashion trends of the year so far. Let’s begin. 😀
1. Bubble Eyeliner – Still trying to ace winged eyes? You better not! As bubble eyeliner is the newest funky makeup trend. It is a sort of bumpy eyeliner which was discovered by the beauty Youtuber, Jenny Gonzalez. Since then it has been spreading wide on Instagram.
2. Choker – The choker is back and with a bang. You must have already spotted it as they’re literally everywhere, from Bollywood to neighborhood. 😉
It’s quite easy to carry a choker and you must give it a shot, if haven’t already.
3. Cold Shoulder – Also known as off shoulder, this popular trend from the 90’s is back. It has become a must to have an off shoulder top.
It goes well with the choker, a perfect pairing with which you can never go wrong.
4. Bold Brows – It’s time for going bold with thick eyebrows. Ditch those thin arched regular look and experiment something different and quirky.
Bollywood stars such as Sonam Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra among others have been spotted rocking this trend. Here Sonam is sporting another new makeup trend i.e. Reverse Winged Eyeliner or also known as Upside Down Cat Eye Look.
5. Liquid Lipstick – Haven’t heard of them yet? Then let me tell you, it is the new kid on the block which has garnered much of acclaim recently.
Liquid lipstick has a great staying power and offers pigmentation of a lipstick and shine of a lip gloss. You can always blot it out to achieve a matte look, if it is glossy. You get matte liquid lipsticks too.
6. Ombre Lips – It’s a Korean beauty trend where you’re combine two tones of colors. Ombre lips look absolute gorgeous and is often sported by models on runways. I would suggest you to initially begin with more wearable colors rather than the darker shades.
7. Peel off Lipstick – You love makeup and then you love tattoos. So do you love makeup tattoos? It’s a peel off and apply concept originally from South Korea. It’s quite long lasting, upto 12 hours. Though it must be used with a bit of care as it may hurt your pretty pout.
8. Rainbow Highlighter – All thanks to an Etsy shop Bitter Lace Beauty for bringing out Prism, the rainbow highlighter. This highlighter does the perfect job to highlight your cheekbones with rainbow colors. Exciting right? But if you can’t wait to own one, then you can DIY one as the net is flooded with quite creative ideas.
9. Clown Contouring – As the name suggests, clown contouring means to make a clown of yourself by oozing lots of makeup on your face. Only to arrive at a perfectly blended and contoured look. YouTube beauty vlogger, Esther who came up with this beauty trend remarks it as a fun approach to contouring.
10. Sheer Trend – It’s one of the biggest summer fashion trend. It’s quite common among the celebs but not easy to carry as it can lead to over exposure too. But the effortless way to add it to your wardrobe is a sheer back crop top or sheer neckline blouse with a saree. If you’re really in awe of this trend then you can also go for the skirts which look quite fabulous.
