Dermafique Bio Cellulose Face Masque Review

Don’t we all love a good pampering session every now and then? I love masking, especially on weekends while the weather is changing outdoors.  Currently I am loving this new launch by Dermafique, which is their range of Bio Cellulose Face Masques. Why, you ask? Because it’s a perfect burst of hydration for the dry and dehydrated skin when the weather is changing and the skin definitely needs that added moisture burst. 

Why is the Dermafique Bio Cellulose Masque better than the regular Tissue based sheet masks?

The Dermafique Bio Cellulose Masque delivers superior hydration and efficacy, as compared to other masks. The range is made of biodegradable Bio Cellulose fibers, and are Made of 100% Natural Coconut Water. Bio Cellulose fibers have great absorbency and penetration. They don’t dry out on the skin. Ordinary tissue masks don’t adhere very well on the face and tend to fall off or slip and even tear off at places when trying to adjust. Bio Cellulose Masks are thicker comparatively, never tear off, and adhere to the skin perfectly and do not fall off or slide!

The Dermafique Bio Cellulose Charcoal Face Masque offers deep pore cleansing which helps unclog pores and removes dead skin, leaving it cleaner, brighter and healthier. Charcoal sucks out the toxins and pollutants from the skin and the hydrating ingredients like glycerin, honey, green tea, etc. give that added moisture boost to the skin.

The Dermafique Bio Cellulose Pore Tightening Masque tightens skin pores and provides deep hydration to the skin. It detoxifies and purifies skin, making it look smoother, softer and firmer. The second ingredient here is Niacinamide which helps in reducing the appearance of pores, controlling the sebum/oil production and calming irritated/inflammed skin.

The Dermafique Bio Cellulose Tone Perfecting Masque leaves skin appearing more even toned. It improves skin complexion by reducing the appearance of blemishes and dark spots, making it look more youthful and radiant. The second ingredient here again is Niacinamide, and additionally it has Aloe Vera, Glycerin, Chamomile and Grapefruit extracts as primary ingredients that help nourish and hydrate the skin and add that needed moisture back to the skin making it soft and plump.

How to use:

Open the pack and unfold the masque, discard the non-woven film and place the mask on the face, remove the white plastic film and adjust the mask. Keep it for 30 minutes and then take off, gently massage/pat your skin or wash with water, if required.

My experience:

Dermafique Bio Cellulose Masque is definitely one of the best masks I have used. It fit the contours of my face perfectly and did not slide off even once. There was absolutely no issue in using it, no messiness or serum dripping everywhere as the masque holds the serum well.

I used the Tone Perfecting Masque and my skin felt soft, plump and hydrated immediately. Also there was no stickiness after removing the mask and the serum got absorbed into the skin. The masque was cooling and refreshing, and for summers if you store it in a refrigerator, it will be all the more refreshing. It’s perfect for a chilled weekend at home, where you do nothing and still get a facial like glow in 30 minutes.

Overall, I am pretty happy with the Tone Perfecting Masque and how my skin looked after. I would highly recommend the Dermafique Bio Cellulose Face Masques. You can buy them HERE

I hope all my beautiful ladies are doing really good. I was in the mood for some spa yesterday. Without wasting any time I quickly went ahead and checked the rate charts on various websites. Then, one look at my wallet and I was like ‘meh..may be next month’. Trust me, this is the story of every month.

However, I am one of those ‘never-say- never’, who is constantly in search of a decent ‘jugaad’. Believe me what I found out was more than a ‘jugaad’

What if, I told you, you could have your very own spa day, at less than half the price….and of course at the comfort of your home? Yes, mi amigos, for the next 4 minutes, I will be rambling about sheet masks and I promise, by the end of it you will thank god for bringing these little babies to the world.

What are Sheet Masks?

Sheet masks are basically fabrics cut into the shape of a face, soaked in potent serums, to give you the maximum benefit. The sheets can be made up of a variety of safe materials including papers, fibres or gel even! They come in many variants for different skin types and conditions.

Why would you choose a sheet mask at all? Well for starters they are convenient to use, non-messy, travel-friendly and not to forget, most importantly, they are the mother load of nutrients. As opposed to a face pack that might dry out your skin sheet masks provide the right amount of moisturization your skin needs.

Right way to use a sheet mask

Easy as pie!!

– cleanse

– tone

-take the mask out of the packet and adjust it on your face

-keep it on for a good 20 minutes

-take it off and DO NOT WASH

-pat the product into the skin and finally moisturize

Voila!! We are good to go!

How often can I use a sheet mask?

There are no set rules regarding the frequency of use. Some people even vouch for, using it every day. However, you can start by using it 1-2 times a week.

Suck out dirt out of your pores with charcoal while collagen extract from pig skin firms and hydrates skin. Spider extract makes this cleansing foam extra refreshing and suitable for sensitive skin.

WHAT IT DOES: Keeps skin feeling moisturized while removing excess oil and dirt from pores.

HOW TO USE
1) Apply appropriate amount on dry face. If too dry, use a tiny bit of water to spread cleanser evenly on entire face. Wash off with lukewarm water after 3~5 minutes.
2) After removing makeup, wet face. Massage a small amount of cleansing foam into creamy foam to remove excess makeup. Wash off with lukewarm water.

I like the fact that it acts both as a cleanser and mask. I know the spider and pig collagen extract does not sound good :/ But the Koreans and Chinese have the best skin in the world, all these weird things should be the secret. Definitely want to try this first :p

TOSOWOONG Super Aqua Cooling Gel 80g- retails at $34

It is supposed to be a moisture bomb and suitable for all skin types from oily to super dry. Its moisturizing and creates a moisture film on the skin and there is no oiliness or greasiness. If it delivers what it claims, this will be my go-to product for this winters.

DEWYTREE Mineral Healthy Sun Cut Loose Powder SPF36 PA++ 10g- retails at $34

Dewytree’s loose powder is enriched with natural minerals and essential oil for maintaining your skin’s moisture level and leaving a long-lasting silky finish to your makeup. Plus, it has a UV protection level of SPF 36 PA++ and uses an air pocket puff that does not clog pores with powder application.

Loose powder with minerals and essential oils plus sunscreen protection. Bring it on. I am yet to try on the shade, I hope it matches :/

SHARA SHARA Black Charcoal Mask Purifying 23g- retails at $2

Shara Shara’s Black Charcoal Mask contains high concentrates of charcoal powder and volcanic ash complex for clearing your skin of dirt, impurities and sebum clogging up your pores. It also works to soothe and protect sensitive skin with its wine and aloe vera leaf formula.

Again charcoal and volcanic ash. This time with wine and aloe vera. Sheet masks are easy to use, can be carried anywhere and I love how they are dipped in rich,moisturising serums and give an instant boost to the skin anywhere!

I think this box is perfect for people with oily skin or pore issues. So many products with volcanic ash, clay, charcoal and for deep cleansing. Its like a DIY clean up at home. Definitely recommend this box!
