lemonade,” our mantra in monsoon should be similar…instead of cursing the rain, head back to the
washroom and try these hairstyles for wet hair:

Fringe braids

Make a side parting to your wet hair and braid the larger section of hair, framing your face. Follow the
same method of braiding as you would for a French braid. You could either leave the rest of your hair
open, or make a ponytail with this section and secure your braid around it.

Twist it up

Make a side parting to your wet hair and gather 2 inches of hair of the larger section, all along the frame of your face. Twist this section tightly throughout its length and tie it up with the rest of your hair into a side ponytail (position it towards the larger section) and wrap the twisted section around it. Use bobby pins to keep it in place.

Embellished buns

A low bun is the easiest way to style wet hair. However, to make it look more interesting, keep
accessories like stylish bobby pins handy to give your bun a more contemporary look. While styling
wet hair, remember to be gentle, since it is most susceptible to breakage.

I am back after a long time with an OOTD..fed up of the hectic work..its taking a toll on my health now 🙁 I need a break !

Coming back to the OOTD..I got these super sexy and gorgeous gold glitter pumps from wd.cm..these have a heel of 4 inches !! Dudee…I feel like I am standing on a stool when I wear them..and I am just 5’3”..so looking 5’7” is an amazing feel 😀 But ya, not something you can wear for a longg time..though the platform of 1.5 inches at the front is helpful..otherwise your feet are dead :/

I paired this half printed dress that comes with a contrasting red belt, with these gold pumps plus gold accessories..

I received a chance to review the new Minto Ultramintz through Blogadda..First of all, I loved how they packed it..in cardboard boxes with black silk cloth and had my name on it at the top..with a super cute bow ribbon..amazing packaging..

It comes in a small black tin..and each tin has 60 small white pellets of Ultramintz inside..it costs Rs.50/- and 60 pellets is quite good for the price and the packaging too..


Easy to carry these tins..they shut tight..and they do not spill or open up..travel friendly..I like the dispensor at the corner..


Best part is..its sugar free..so those on a diet or even the elders who have a diabetes issue, can have these without worries..unlike those sugar loaded gums and mints..

After the mint-o Gol and mint-o Fresh which come in as individual single packs..these are much more convenient..and can be shared too 😀

And you do need extra mints in your bag when at office..for the times you are feeling extra sleepy or have had onion or garlic in your lunch..:p

I love how it melts in my mouth immediately and I can surely feel the fine menthol and pure peppermint oil used in it..unlike those artificial strong mints..which I just cannot bear :/



These are not that strong though they claim to be…but I like it this way..and for those, like me who cannot bear those super strong mints..this is the best option.

Ingredients are Sorbital, Magenesium Stearate and Sucralose..with flavors of menthol and peppermint..as you can see no added sugars or artificial colors or flavors..sometimes those artificial colors or flavors also infect the throat..


I am not a fan of those strong artificial mint that taste a little bitter at the end..I hope you are getting it..I like it a little mild, pure and after trying Ultramintz, I exactly know how I like my mints 😀

Chic and stylish case..mild but nice mint..made from pure menthol and peppermint essential oil..these are quite economical, travel friendly, easily available..and perfect..

College Fest Look with Maybelline New York India

So after the first day of college look, time for the college fest look..well it would not be plain and simple..but obviously a little spunky..what we are doing here is..adding a touch of smokiness..

Products used:

The basic steps would be the same..as in previous look..

1. At first, cleanse your face well and follow it up with a moisturiser and suncreen.
2. Take a pea sized amount of the Maybelline BB Cream and dot it all over your face and a little more at your problem areas..and blend well with your finger tips.
3. If you have oily skin, you can set it with the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder.
4. Line your upper waterline (its called tightlining) and lower waterline with the Maybelline Colossal Kajal..and smudge a little with your ring finger.
5. And a tinted lip balm..any of the four Maybelline Baby Lips..I am using Rose Addict here.
6. Additionally, line your upper lashline with the Maybelline Colossal Kajal..and smudge it with a smudger brush extending it outwards..and forming a wing..
7. Darken the kohl on the lower waterline.
8. Curl your lashes and apply Maybelline Colossal Volume Mascara.
9. Hint of the Maybelline Colorsensational gloss in Hooked on Pink on the centre of your lips..
