Himalaya Herbals Deep Cleansing Milk Review

Indications: To remove facial impurities, make-up and grime.

Ingredients: Cucumber (Cucumis sativus, Sukasa),Soapnut Tree (Sapindus mukorossi , Arishta)
Cucumis sativus (Cucumber, Sukasa) helps keep the facial skin soft. It has healing and soothing effect on the damaged skin and exerts a natural sunscreen effect. It acts as a toner and lightens the facial skin.
Sapindus mukorossi (Soapnut-tree of North India, Arishta) has a mild detergent activity and it cleanses the skin of oily secretion.

Directions: Apply in a circular motion on the face and neck. Wipe off with a moist cotton pad. Rinse with water and pat dry.

MRP: Rs 65/- for 100 ml and Rs. 105/- for 200 ml

Its a white colored thick lotion..but not too thick..easy to massage over the skin..has a soapnut smell to it. It does remove your daily dirt and grime and cleanses well..as far as makeup is concerned it removes most of it..but not the waterproof makeup completely.

Pros:

1. Decently priced.
2. Removes most of the makeup well.
3. Easily available.
4. The small bottle is easy to carry around.
5. If you want a normal everyday cleanser this would be the best bet.
6. Does not dry out the skin.

Cons:

1. You need to massage it into the skin in circular motions and wait for a few minutes. Don’t expect taking it in cotton swab and removing immediately. It does take a little time.
2. I have heard it stings eyes for a few..though I did not face it..but one has to be careful while using it for removing eye makeup.
3. Has parabens.

Overall its a decent everyday cleanser..an ok product..not something I can’t live without..but would do..

Lakme Lip Love Lipstick Aphrodite Blush Review,Swatches, FOTD

Lakme Lip Love Lipstick Aphrodite Blush Review,Swatches,FOTD

What the Company claims:

MRP: Rs. 550/-

Lakme had launched their Lip Love lipsticks last December…these are by far the costliest lipsticks Lakme has..but are they worth it..read on..

They have this metallic red ‘love’ embossed packaging..even the lipstick bullet has LOVE written on it..:p But the packaging is quite sturdy and nice and not the usual Lakme..

They come in 12 shades and have both lighter and darker shades to choose from..They have SPF 16 and are super creamy and hydrating.

The shade Aphrodite Blush is a peachy brown shade..which goes from a light to dark as its quite buildable..it can look more on the brown side on a few..

And here is how it looks on me..

Pros:

1. These are quite pigmented..you need just a single swipe for the color which you can build up depending on how you like it.
2. Very creamy and moisturising.
3. Feel super light on lips.
4. I liked the packaging…and its quite sturdy too.
5. They do not have any particular taste and just a light scent.
6. SPF 16
7. These stay on for 2-3 hours on my lips which is fine.
8. These do not settle in my fine lines and do not accentuate them.

Cons:

1. Expensive…but these are quite good quality wise.
2. I would have liked more shades..in fact pinks and corals.

Otherwise no cons..I quite like them..and for the above question..yes these are totally worth it !

Quality: 4.5/5
