I have reviewed many Asus phones including the tab before, read all HERE. I have to say this Zenfone 3 is the most exciting one, coz of the camera!

It comes with USB-C type charger, user guide, headphones with additional caps.

The Zendesign and front and rear 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass makes it look elegant and classy (also scratch free) and the design has won a few awards already!

Absolutely love the sleek design and the metal outer frame, plus it is very light weight!

PixelMaster 3.0 packs a 16MP camera with the latest Sony® IMX298 sensor, six-element Largan lens with a large f/2.0 aperture, and subject-tracking TriTech auto-focus for variable distance and lighting clarity in just 0.03 seconds. Optical and electronic image stabilization for blur-free shots and video, color correction sensor for true color photography, and true 4K UHD video recording.

The TriTech ultra fast 0.03s auto focus is the first of its kind and exclusive only to Zenfone 3. For the first time in the smartphone world, the engineers at Asus have combined three focusing technologies — laser, phase detection and continuous auto-focus — into one harmonious system. The optical image stabilizer prevents any blurry/shaky photos coz of hand movements.

It has 4-bit, 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon™ 625 processor, 4GB memory and desktop-grade Adreno™ 506 graphics performance. This powerhouse processor has revolutionary 14nm Fin Field Effect Transistors (FinFETs) to deliver full-on performance while reducing power consumption by 35%. World’s First 14nm Snapdragon processor with with 64-Bit Octa-Core CPU @2.0Ghz : S625 is much more powerful than previous generation thanks to new full 8 core @ 2.0Ghz. 2016 S625 is around the same level of performance of 2015 S800 series. 14nm is the most advance process technology in 2016. FinFet LPP technology increase the powering saving more than 35%. As conclusion, S625 is not mid end processor , it’s middlle-high end processor with great user experience.

It has 4G LTE and works on Android Marshmallow. It comes with both 5.2 and 5.5 inch display size, this is the 5.2 inch one in Shimmer Gold, love the halo it creates.

The camera of course comes with all the classic Asus features like HDR, Super HDR, Panorama, Selfie Panorama, Sepia, Beautification, Time Lapse, Slow Motion, etc. It also has an in built editor with various filters/frames and some basic editing options.

The 16MP rear camera is super sharp and clear, I have clicked some pictures and they are all raw/unedited, I have only resized them as each picture was around 3MB!

Also used the front 8MP camera for some selfies. Front camera also has Beautification, HDR Pro mode, etc. I have clicked in normal Auto mode, Beautification mode and in HDR Pro.

Game Genie, Sonic Master, Finger print sensor are some of the other fabulous features to look at!

All these features and specs definitely deserve a price much higher, but 21999 is a steal for Asus Zenfone 3! New Asus Zenfone Max Review, Pictures #LiveUnplugged

Hey guys, If you follow me on Snapchat (bhumika_t), you must have seen this phone a lot by now, right from the secret it was to the unveiling on 23rd May, it’s been a week and I have experimented a lot with this phone, so here are my two cents on it.

The new Zenfone Max is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor and provides the users an option to opt for a 2GB or 3GB RAM. The internal memory of the phone has now been increased to 32GB, in addition to an expandable memory of up to 64GB. Zenfone Max with 2GB RAM is available for Rs. 9,999 and can be pre-ordered on Flipkart while Zenfone Max with 3GB RAM is available for Rs. 12,999 and can be purchased from Amazon, Snapdeal and Flipkart. The 3GB RAM variant will also be available at ASUS Exclusive stores and all other retail stores across India, at a later date.

Equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, the Zenfone Max can last longer without charging and is also capable of being a power bank for other gadgets making it an essential product for daily use.

Available in three different colours – black, orange and blue, the new Zenfone Max boasts of an extremely thin body that measures only 5.2 mm at its thinnest edge. The surrounding metal-like edge makes it durable while the back with the look and feel of embossed leather makes the phone look chic and fashionable for every occasion.

More details about the battery: The powerful 5000 mAh battery requires fewer charging cycles making the phone last longer and more efficient. Battery usage

Camera: The new ZenFone Max has a 13 Megapixel, f/2.0-aperture rear camera with the ASUS PixelMaster 2.0 technology and dual-LED flash for natural-looking photography. It also features Laser Auto Focus technology that helps photography enthusiasts focus on an object in as fast as 0.03 seconds. ZenFone Max’s front camera is a 5 Megapixel, f/2.0-aperture camera with 85̊ wide-viewing angle that helps in incorporating more information and details into the picture.

Screen: Featuring a 5.5 inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display with full-screen lamination and ASUS TruVivid technology, the new Zenfone Max provides superior clarity, brightness and touch responsiveness. The Bluelight Filter for Eye Care protects the users’ eyes from strain during prolonged usage.

Coming to my experience:

Asus Zenfone Max comes with a USB charger, OTG cable and a warranty card.

It is slightly heavy at 205gms but then a 5000mAh battery comes with a little weight 😀 I love the look and feel of it, especially the textured back cover feels expensive and nice.

When I opened the phone on 23rd May, it had no battery, so I had to charge it fully and it did take a lot of time, because 5000 mAh does take time to get fully charged. The charger is 1amp and a 2amp charger might help you to lessen the charging time, but I am not sure if the phone has the capacity for that.

Battery Test

Once it was fully charged on 23rd May night untill today right now, I haven’t charged it even once, it’s been almost 6-7 days. Right now too the battery is 51% left. To be honest, I have not used it extensively like for gaming, etc., just the camera, apps, surfing and normal stuff, but I haven’t come across a phone yet, that did not charging for 7 days straight! I am pretty sure with gaming and more extensive use too, this phone would last for 2-2.5 days easily!

Talking about the next fabulous feature, the OTG cable. How amazing it is to charge other phones and devices through a phone and not a powerbank coz your phone itself is a powerbank 😀 The OTG cable that comes along with Zenfone Max turns the phone into a powerbank and you can charge any device with it’s USB through this.

The camera is pretty decent, I would not say it’s the most amazing camera I have seen, but at this price point, I may. The 13MP rear camera captures details, colours and clarity fabulously. I absolutely loved the front camera though, it’s pretty clear and you can even adjust focus. It is dual sim and comes with 2GB RAM,32GB internal memory and supports 4G. The Asus UI is pretty decent too, it does come with some pre loaded apps but you can always remove those. The USP of this phone is the battery and the OTG cable! I haven’t come across a phone with all these features at a price of Rs.9999/- yet.

Definitely recommend it for people who use their phones a lot throughout the day and don’t prefer carrying power bank and USB cords with them, you won’t need to with this phone, just charge it through the night and you are sorted for 1.5-2 days easily even with heavy use! My brother is one such person, his work solely depends on his phone and he is on calls throughout the day. His phone is always dead by the time he reaches home, so I am surely gifting the Asus Zenfone Max to him 🙂

How Asus ZenPad 8.0 Makes My Life Easy

I know a lot of gadgets and Asus is being reviewed on the blog, but being a blogger who is 24/7 online on all social media platforms and keeps clicking and uploading and tweeting and snapchatting and doing live beams or youtube or blogging all the time, apart from emails, invoices, following up on payments,etc. is tough! Phew :/

And smartphones, tabs, gadgets make our life easy and sorted. I was using the Samsung Galaxy 2 Tab since years and it is quite old now, so I was looking for a new tab with all the advanced features and got the Asus Zenpad 8.0 at the perfect time. I love how a tab is not as inconvenient as a smartphone and still easy to carry around and work with.

It runs on Android 5.0, with the ZenUI overlay, almost the same as with other Asus smartphones. It comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of  internal storage (expandable upto 128GB), and LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and a 4000mAh battery. The battery lasts really long!! One of the main reasons why I love it.

The Zenpad comes with a charger. There is a separate audio cover and the cover’s charger at an additional cost of Rs.3000/-

It has interchangeable covers in black, white and grey. It is 8 inches in size, so easy to carry around and quite light weight (350g). Fits in my smaller handbags too.

Front Cam Beautification Mode

It has 8MP Rear camera with f/2.0 which is pretty decent, has Tru2Life technology which captures pictures as vivid and clear as in real with no change or modification in colors or brightness. It catches every minute detail and the pictures are very sharp because of the PixelMaster. The front cam is 2MP, both cameras are without flashes. It is not the best camera out there, but pretty good for a tablet. Compared to other tablets, the camera is top notch. Front Cam Selfie with Beautification Mode

VisualMaster optimizes all aspects of the display — including contrast, sharpness, color, clarity, and brightness — resulting in an incredibly realistic viewing experience.

It runs smooth with many apps open too, inspite of 2GB RAM. Only gets a bit slow during gaming and gets a little heated up too. But for regular browsing , updating, it is perfect. I can even blog on the go with this!

Asus Audio Cover

The sound can be amplified with the audio cover. ASUS Audio Cover (Sold separately) is an entertainment accessory that brings cinematic, 5.1-channel surround sound to ASUS ZenPad 8.0. DTS-HD Premium Sound and SonicMaster technology provide further enhancement, ensuring the ultimate audio experience on ASUS ZenPad 8.0. It has 6 speakers including a subwoofer which means 6 x sound volume and one charge gives 6 hours battery life. It practically works as a bluetooth speaker with better quality. You can carry it around in your car or a house party or anywhere. You just need a party playlist in the Zenpad and your are sorted. The look and feel of the Audio Cover is excellent, it looks like a diary and makes for a perfect case for the Zenpad.

I can blog, update my social media, or watch YouTube videos loud and clear with the Audio Cover and do a ton of stuff from making notes to clicking pictures to sending invoices to doing live beams on Fame or Periscope with this.

Priced at Rs.14,999/-, it is one multi- tasking device that will sort your life. It has definitely sorted mine! If you are looking for a new handy tab, then look nowhere else, coz Asus Zenpad 8.0 is your answer.

Yes today I am talking about this super device which I have been testing since the past 2 weeks. I know you have read a million reviews of the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser by now!

It comes with a warranty card, user guide and a charger. I have the ZE550KL 2GB RAM one in Gold.

The technical aspects like 64-bit Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 410 processor, LTE Category 4 for download speeds up to 150Mbps, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi built in for butter smooth WiFi connectivity, 3000mAh battery, Dual sim, 1280×720 HD IPS display that offers wide 178-degree viewing angles and staggering 267 ppi pixel density, TruVivid technology, Glove Touch Technology, Sonic Master for Crystal Clear Audio, Smart Asus Audio Wizard to name a few (Phew!) are quite amazing indeed and a lot of industry firsts!

But today I am talking about the phone from a blogger, specifically a beauty and fashion blogger or any girl’s perspective.

Starting with the design, it is super sleek and thin with slight round edges. It looks and feels like a phone with 5x the price! It is ergonomically designed with a button behind to adjust volume and take selfies which is like the best part here, coz we all know how difficult it is to hold the button and adjust your finger to click on Capture 😀

2. Camera, Camera, Camera. Yes, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, amazing picture quality with perfectly vivid colors, sharpness and brightness. We girls need a good camera each day, every day!

3. Beautification mode. On days when we are too lazy to put on any makeup, we just use the beautification mode for pictures and look perfectly made up. It has color correction, skin correction, eyes, blush, every feature to correct and all this before taking a picture, so edit before clicking now!

4. Camera Features. Coming to the best part in this phone, the camera features it has. Apart from the basic Auto, Manual and the above mentioned Super HDR, Low Light, Selfie Panorama and Beautification Modes, it has night, depth of field, effect (filters), normal panorama, GIF Animation creator, Time Rewind, All Smiles, Miniature, Smart Remove, Time Lapse and Slow motion. Now create GIF’s, fun Slow-mo and Fast forward videos, smartly remove any unwanted object or person from your picture, select the best smiles of every person in the picture with All Smiles. You name it and the phone has it, it is like a genie!

5. Colors available. It comes in black, white, grey, red and gold. This is the gold one and I absolutely love gold.

The pictures are slightly grainy with the rear camera compared to high end phones and cameras but the front camera pictures are razor sharp, crisp and clear. At Rs.9999/- this is the best phone in the market in that price category. No phone under Rs.10,000 has this good a camera with laser auto focus and these many camera features plus the technical features.

OOTD: Roses in Galaxy

Hi guys,

I am back with an OOTD, this time it’s this pretty black dress with pinkish red roses on the bottom half. It’s an old dress I had got from Done By None but never untill yet.

I created this case for Asus #Zenfone on their #Zenlooks app here http://bit.ly/1Q1ohRK, it is a galaxy inspired look with deep galaxy colors and some stars in between.

I wanted to create an outfit similar to the case inspiration and I found this dress in my wardrobe which perfectly matched the black and deep pinks and reds in the galaxy.

I kept it very basic and simple and went with a basic rose gold watch and a tan sling. I completed the look with my favourite black and gold block sandals.

I also added this floral pink tiara coz it went beautifully with the dress 🙂

Today I am talking about something which we do all the time these days i.e taking selfies! Everywhere I see people taking selfies or clicking pics with family and friends, smart phones have made our life really easy.

I remember when I was in college, people used to hardly have phones forget phones with camera. Then the camera phones were introduced and I was so happy! I used to have more than 1000 pics in my phone in those times when the memory was also restricted. I always loved clicking pictures and when I first bought my camera, I used to take it along on all my family and friends’ picnics or college festivals or for every friend’s birthday. We used to celebrate every friend’s birthday in the group with surprises being planned days before and then the venue, cake and what to do the entire day. It was so much fun and I have all the pictures captured in my albums thanks to my camera.

Even though most of us had smart phones, the quality of the camera was not upto the mark to capture special moments and hence I had to lug around my digital camera with me all the time. Not that I am complaining, when I look back at the pictures, I get lost in the memories and feel so happy.

And the problem with having everyone in the picture being to find someone to click it or use a timer but then you don’t know if all are fitting in the frame. Thanks to the technology, we got new phones and with front camera where we can click our own pictures without being dependent on someone.

The latest phones not only have an amazing rear camera, but an equally powerful and competent front camera too, case in point being the new Asus Zenfone Selfie. It has 13MP front camera and front flash, and it is the first in this category I believe.

Asus has this #DonateASelfie campaign where they made this video capturing selfies of people of different age, genre and with their friends and family. I won’t lie, this video made me shed a tear, it is one of the most beautifully captured video I have seen in a long time.


I have a very special selfie moment too. On the day of my wedding, when my friends came to greet me on the stage, we managed to click a selfie and it turned out so amazing. It is one of my favourite pictures yet, and even though I have more than 700 pictures from my wedding, this selfie will always be special and hold an important place in my life.

I donate this selfie to my husband and my friends for always being there for me, no matter what. And this picture shows the happiness, smiles and the bond we all share beautifully.

How To Click The Perfect Selfie

Hey guys,

Just yesterday I was thinking how a decade ago we were super happy with our 3210 and 3310 cell phones where all we could do was talk and send/receive SMS.  Coming back to today, where apps like Whatsapp and Facebook/Twitter are a necessity and taking pictures everyday on our smart phone is a daily practice, that goes without saying.

I think our generation on an average clicks about 10 pictures daily on their smart phone, especially selfies! And if you are a blogger, you have to click 6-7 pictures at least to get that perfect selfie.

Now makeup and hair obviously play a very important role in your selfie if you are a girl. Your hair need not be all polished and glam, but a simple hairstyle and no frizz is perfect. When it comes to makeup, bright lips and evened base is all you need, you can also define your eyes with a liner/kohl if you feel like.

Another most important thing for a perfect selfie is lighting! If you have good lighting, don’t miss a chance to click selfie 😀 Don’t face the sun directly as that would lead to over brightness. You can stand opposite the window, or you can take a selfie in the car.

I absolutely love car selfies. Since it is covered from the top there is no chance of direct sunlight and the car window gives you required amount of lighting. I never miss a chance to click a selfie while in the car. Pro tip: Always hold the camera a bit higher than your face level.

And one thing which is absolutely essential is of course a good smart phone with an excellent camera. Now my phone has a terrible front camera and hence I have to use the rear camera which is not very selfie friendly obviously as I cannot see the perfect angle or how the picture is getting clicked.

I have been on the lookout for a phone with a good front camera since a long time. I stumbled upon the Asus Zenfone Selfie and I am blown away!! Why, you ask? 13MP front and rear camera and dual flash on both the cameras, 0.3s Laser Ultra Fast Auto-Focus rear camera.

The front camera has f/2.2-aperture, 88-degree wide-angle lens and with the unique Selfie Panorama mode, you will be able to shoot selfies with an outlook of up to 140 degrees — so everything and everyone is part of your shot!! More group selfies, yay! And no one will be missed out or half cut now onwards 🙂

Not only that, the front camera also has HDR mode, so every selfie can be a perfect selfie now and if not, we can always use the Beautification Mode 😉 The Beautification Mode enhances your features and corrects blemishes all in real time, you can adjust the effectiveness of the features and just go clicking.

It comes in super pretty colors like Pure White, Chic Pink and Aqua Blue. I am so loving the Aqua Blue. I don’t think I have to stress more on how this is perfect phone for selfies and clicking pictures!! Clicking pictures are an essential in my life, being a blogger and I definitely need a phone like this. I am surely getting this. What about you?
