They also come in a matte range with a similar packaging.

It has a black square tube packaging with a see through cap towards the top. Not that you can see the shade from the top to identify the shade :/

But its shuts tight and does not mess or break easily. Travel friendly. To start with, I love how crazily pigmented these are! Pretty moisturizing and stay for 3-4 hours and leave behind a soft stain.

I am reviewing the shades Buttered Rum, Lava Love and WineBerry. I absolutely love WineBerry, followed by Lava Love. I am not a fans of browns, so do not like Buttered Rum much.

Buttered Rum is a soft brick brown

Lava Love is a bright coral red

WineBerry is actually a mauve rose brown, very flattering shade.

I would love to check out more from this range. These are very moisturizing, pigmented, have SPF15, stays for 3-4 hours and all the qualities a good lipstick should have. Highly recommended. Only availability is an issue with Avon since you need a representative.

Also I would love to try the Matte range in this next.

Hello Beauties,

Today I’m going to review a beautiful lipstick from Avon which is extremely affordable and of high quality. The lipstick in question is Avon Simply Pretty ‘Fresh Rose’.

Product Description:

• Blissful medium to full color finish with added natural moisturizing complex that help retain moisture and improve suppleness
• Contains Vitamin E
• Glides on smoothly, makes lips look instantly softer and smoother
• Feels lightweight and non-sticky

Price: Rs 169/- for 4gms

Packaging
The lipstick is packaged in a bright purple packaging with the shade name mentioned at the bottom. The bullet of the lipstick has ‘LOVE” embossed on it which looks oh so cute. The cap of the lipstick shuts tightly making it travel friendly. I’m not necessarily fond of the packaging but at this price I can’t complain.

Shade
Fresh Rose looks very brown in the bullet but upon swatching it is a beautiful rosy pink with a hint of brown. This is one shade that will suit every complexion beautifully and I’ve fallen in love with the shade.

Texture 
The lipstick is extremely creamy and soft. It adequately hydrates my dry lips and applies evenly. Despite the creamy texture it does not bleed or feather. After a few hours it does tend to settle into fine lines so make sure you apply a lip balm underneath.

Pigmentation & Staying Power
Fresh Rose is well pigmented and 2 swipes gives a good color pay off. It will easily cover pigmentation of lips and you can always tone it down by blotting it.

The staying power is superb and it stays put for 4-5 hours. It easily survives small meals and snacks but does require a touch up after a full meal. I didn’t expect such high staying power considering its price and I must say I was pleasantly surprised.

Final Recommendation: Avon’s Fresh Rose is a beautiful rosy pink and will flatter all complexions. It has a nice creamy texture with good staying power. Also, it is extremely affordable and I highly recommend it!

What the Company claims: Full-coverage conditioning color infused with fruit enzymes and a blend of natural oils for lips that are visibly fuller, softer and smoother.

Ingredients:

It comes in a nice squarish diamond shaped silver packaging..

Super glossy and moisturising..quite pigmented..it goes on smooth..does not bleed or settle in fine lines..quite like MAC Lustre finish lipsticks..but stays for 2-3 hours on me..

Loving Lilac is a true blue based lilac shade.

Here is it on me..

Pros:

1. Nice packaging
2. Economical when on offer
3. Super glossy
4. Moisturising
5. Decent pigmentation
6. Does not bleed or smear or settle in fine lines
7. Good blend of Ingredients…has jojoba seed oil, avocado oil and coconut oil and apple, strawberry and papaya fruit extracts
8. Has SPF 15

Cons:

1. Stays only 2-3 hours
2. Only available through Avon reps

Overall, these are quite good glossy and pigmented lipsticks..the darker shades stay longer..and are moisturising too..I do recommend trying these..Caressing Coral and Lovey Dovey Pink are two nice shades..and Make out Red if you into glossy reds..
