I got the July Fab Bag and the theme for the this month is ‘The Gotcha Covered’ July Fab Bag.

I love the sleek and long, textured pink pouch. The material is really good.

I had an option to pick one shade out of all the MyGlamm Perfect Curves Lip Crayon. I have the shade Debutante and I love it. I love the formula, shade everything. I picked 01 Biscotti which is a perfect peachy brown with a hint of pink. An everyday wear nude shade.

I am pretty excited to try the Hip Hop Nose Strip, I love using nose strips once a month or so. Other products look hit and miss, not happy about all the brands this time.

It’s an ok bag, not a must have. I would suggest getting it for the MyGlamm Lip crayon if you anyway planning to try it.

May 2018 Fab Bag Unboxing

I just got the May 2018 Fab Bag and did a quick unboxing. The theme for this month is ‘The Beauty Project’ and it’s a perfect summer bag. I love the colour and doodling on it, I wish it was a little thicker and sturdier though. It’s slightly thin and transparent.

Products received:

  • NELF USA Velvet Touch Creamy Matte Lipstick Pink Spice- Rs.799/-
  • NELF USA Professional Eyeliner Blue- Rs.225/-
  • Aroma Magic Sun Block SPF 30 PA++ – Rs.75/- for 20ml
  • Fem De-Tan Orange Peel Creme Bleach- Rs.40/-
  • Imiana House RhoCo 2 in 1 Scrub & Mask- Rs.300 for 25g
  • Tjori Night Skin Repair Elixir- Rs.995/-

Again I had an option to pick one lipstick shade from NELF USA and I chose Pink Spice. I absolutely love this shade, it’s a perfect neutral and the formula is velvet matte, not sheer or glossy or too creamy. I love the formula and shade, it reminds me of the Maybelline Inti-Matte Nude in Almond Pink which is another favourite of mine.

The blue eyeliner was a surprise as I wasn’t expecting two makeup products, it’s pigmented and very pretty. Perfect shade for summer.

Sun Block sample is ideal for travel and I am going to travel soon, so would carry that definitely. Fem De-Tan bleach is a one time use pack and again good for someone like me who doesn’t bleach usually and might try once in a while.

The coffee 2 in 1 scrub & mask and the Tjori Night Skin Repair Elixir look interesting and I am looking forward to trying that.

Total value of the products = Rs.2435/-

I was pretty disappointed with last month’s Fab Bag but absolutely love this month’s bag. All the products are pretty good and useful this time, and mostly full sized. Loved the lipstick shade I chose and the blue eyeliner is very pretty and pigmented, perfect for summers.

Dec 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

I got the Dec 2017 Fab Bag today, it’s ‘Blend the Beauty Dec Fab Bag’ The bag is a textured metallic red bag, I believe for the holiday season.

  • Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak- Rs.200 for 100g
  • Bella Voste Nail Paint- Rs.249
  • Alanna Dessicated Coconut & Saffron Face & Body Scrub- Rs.340/- for 20g
  • Aroma Magic Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Cream- Rs.26 for 10g

I got a choice to pick one shade from the Sugar eyeshadow quads, I picked Disturbia as I have already reviewed and swatched 6 quads (see HERE) I didn’t have the blue one, so I picked this.

Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak and Bella Voste Nail Paint are full sized and I like both of them.

Aroma Magic cream is a good hand cream size for bag, I prefer 30ml/30g samples though, it’s too less. The Alanna scrub is too expensive for the price. The qty is good for few uses if used as a face scrub, for body it would only work for single use.

Total value pf the products come to around Rs.1500/- I am really happy with three full sized products and I highly recommend this month’s Fab Bag!

Feb 2017 Fab Bag Unboxing & Review

I got my Feb Pucker Up Fab Bag today and quickly unboxed it.

I love the lipgloss and lip print on the bag for the ‘Pucker Up’ thing, it is absolutely perfect. And even the bag is quite nice for travel.

Products I got:

  • Sugar Liquid Lipstick Smudge Me Not in Suave Mauve- Full size (Rs.499)
  • Matra Holistic Lip Care in Kiwi- Full size (Rs.199)
  • Just Herbs Lively Clean Honey Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Gel- 50ml (Rs.230)
  • Batiste Dry Shampoo Floral & Flirty Blush in Cherry- Full size 50ml (Rs.299)

I had an option to pick one shade from the Sugar Liquid Lipstick and since I already had 4, I went with Suave Mauve which I didn’t have. Check the review and swatches of all 4 HERE

It’s a very pretty dusty nude mauve, great for fair to medium skin tones.

I love the Matra Lip Balm, it smells really refreshing and the ingredients has lot of good essential and base oils.

I have tried Just Herbs Honey Face Wash and Batiste Dry Shampoo before, like both. Glad I have it in mini sizes now, for travel.

Overall, the total price of the products in this month’s bag is Rs.1230/-. I wouldn’t say it’s a must buy but if you wanted to try Sugar Liquid Lipstick anyway, then you get 3 additional products plus the bag for just Rs.100/- extra, so that’s a good deal.

Jan 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

I know I am a little late this time in the unboxing of Fab Bag. I am at my parents’ place and the Fab Bag gets delivered at my place and from there I got it here today.

The theme this month is ‘Bring It On’. The bag is a bright pink clutch, it’s nice to travel along with and it fits many things in.

  • Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Lip Crayon in Mary Poppins (Full size- Rs.799/-)
  • O3+ Derma Fresh Mask – 50g (Full size- Rs.425/-)
  • MCaffeine Neem Caffeine Face wash (50ml) – Full size Rs.449/- for 150ml
  • The Nature’s Co. Fucus Anti-Ageing Cream (20ml)- Full size Rs.895/- for 50ml
  • Wella EIMI Perfect Me BB Lotion (6ml)- Full size Rs.900/- for 100ml

I had an option to choose one makeup product and Sugar Matte Lip Crayons were also a part of those options. I was confused between Mary Poppins and Rose Dawson and didn’t have both, but finally went with Mary Poppins as I have many nudes and this is a very unique bright pink.

Also liking the full size face mask, would be trying it out right now. Rest three products are deluxe sized samples. The face wash looks decent, not very happy with the anti-ageing cream, I would have liked a scrub or day/night cream.

I have the full size bottle of the Wella Perfect Me BB Lotion and it’s really good! The 6ml sachet should be worth Rs.54/- but the sachet mentions Rs.150/- which is more than 3 times the value.

Overall the value of all the products comes to around Rs. 1790/- I am happy with the lipstick and face mask. I love the Wella BB Lotion and would be carrying this sachet the next time I travel. I am not sure about the face wash and anti-ageing cream but I don’t mind trying those.

The bag is pretty decent, not bad. Definitely worth buying.

December 2016 Fab Bag Unboxing

I love this silver black holographic kind pouch, it’s pretty.

Products I got:

  • Iba Halal Foot Massage Cream (Full size- Rs.95/- for 50g)
  • Natural Bath & Body Hair Mist (50ml – Rs.525/- for 100ml)
  • Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil Roll On (15ml – Rs.460/- for 60ml)
  • City Color Be Matte Lipstick Lana- (Full size- Rs.500/-)

I quite liked the City Color Be Matte Lipstick last month, so this month too when I was given an option I chose the same lipstick in a different shade. This time I chose a red called ‘Lana‘. It’s a beautiful cool toned red. I love the formula of these City Color Be Matte Lipsticks, very similar to the Sugar Cosmetics It’s A Pout Time formula.

I have tried Iba Halal moisturizer before and it was pretty decent, so looking forward to try this foot massage cream. Perfect time to try the foot cream.

I love Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula products and do have this oil. I like this roll on packaging more, very handy and convenient.

And last but not the least, is the Natural Bath & Body Hair Mist. Smells really good, but I am not sure if the smell would stay through the day. Again a travel friendly bottle.

Total value of the products comes to round Rs.1000. Overall, I would say it’s an Ok bag. Not a must have, but if you would like to try these products including one makeup product of your choice, then you can give it a go.

So I just got my November My Envy Box and it is so good, that I had to share it immediately!

First of, this box is beautiful! The summery pastel floral colors and design is so, so pretty! The theme for this month is ‘Handmade’, so all the products are natural and organic i.e. chemical free

We have all 5 full sized products in this month’s My Envy Box! This has to be one of my favourite My Envy Boxes in a very long time!

Not only that, all products i.e. the lip butter, lip scrub, body scrub are perfect for the current winter season. My lips are dry as a desert currently and I am only surviving on lip scrubs and lip balms! So I am glad I got those two. Plus a good body scrub is always welcome to exfoliate those dead skin cells on the body.

Hair Protein Pack also sounds nice, this one has fenugreek, Bengal gram and all things good! Definitely trying this soon!

And last but not the least, Kiwi Asparagus Face Pack! I have never tried this combination but kiwi is super rich in Vitamin C, so I am definitely most excited to try this one.

October 2016 3rd Anniversary My Envy Box Review

So I finally got the October My Envy Box, this is their 3rd anniversary box and all the teaser emails where making me very curious, they had mentioned they have 8 products in this month’s box.

The box this month is a plain white one with black web design on it and it says ‘turns three’ below the My Envy Box logo.

  • Gulnare Seaflo Face Wash 120ml (Rs.350/-)
  • Vichy Ideal White Brightening Deep Cleansing Foam 15ml (Rs.1550/- for 100ml)

I got the Zebra print black and white nail wraps in Nertia. I have tried the Gulnare face wash before and it’s quite good. The Ayca Jasmine Body Wash also smells really nice.

I am not much into whitening cleansing facial foam as they make my skin super stretchy and dry. I would have liked the essence though which is another option in the box. I wish My Envy Box gave options to subscribers on what they can choose in terms of shades or products, if they have a few different ones to offer. That would be very convenient.

Love the Forest Essentials Cleansing Paste, I wanted to try this one out, glad I got this. Also this is perfect for travelling. Even the Kerastase Chronologiste vial is perfect for travel.

The Vert Loose Powder is made from all natural, dried rose petals. It has a strong pink undertone and can be used as a blush or eyeshadow. This would make a beautiful blush! But the quantity is good enough to last a few generations 😀 I would suggest splitting it to half or 1/4th and sharing it with your friends/family.

The total value of all the products in this month’s box comes to around Rs.3750/- I am quite happy with the products, 3 are full sized while 3 are super deluxe samples.

I definitely recommend this month’s box! Total value for money.

July 2016 My Envy Box Review & Unboxing

July My Envy Box Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

I just got the My Envy Box for the month of July. The theme is ‘Band, Baajaa Beauty’ and it’s curated by WedMeGood. The box itself is very pretty, it is neon pink with gold intricate work on it.

I had seen a sneak peek in the email and knew there were two full sized products from SkinYoga and Gulnare in this month’ box.

Let’s see what I got in this month’s box:

  • SkinYoga Marigold Foot Soak- Full Size (Rs. 695/-)
  • Gulnare Glow Girl Shimmering Dry Oil – Full size (Rs.1250/-)
  • Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Brightening Scrub -5g sample
  • Kama Ayurveda Hand Cream- 5g sample
  • Kerastase Chronologiste Oil- 3ml sample

In total there are 5 products in this month’s box, but except the 2 full sized products, rest of the samples are very tiny. I do prefer deluxe sized samples which have 30g or 30ml product, I do not like the 5g and 5ml tiny samples which hardly serve the purpose.

The foot soak and shimmering body oil do look interesting, but I would have liked body scrub or Gulnare moisturiser/hand cream.

Overall the value of the two full sized products do make up for the cost of the box, but I would suggest go for this month’s box only if you use/interested in trying out the foot soak or shimmering body oil. Or else, can skip this month’ box.
