Remember the previous post on Bollywood ladies who sizzle in bikinis? Weren’t you left slobbering, drooling and wanting for more? The ladies certainly sported bikinis with enormous aplomb, confidence and a sense of pride in their bodies that one couldn’t help but have their heartbeats race at a pace most F1 racers would be put to shame. So here you with a brief rundown of those Bollywood Ladies whose swimsuit avatars have been the most graceful, tasteful and magnetic of all.
1. KATRINA KAIF- If you thought her abs in Kala Chashma were a treat to your eyes, think again! The lady’s got more to soothe your eyes. Her pink swimsuit avatar in Sau Aasmaano song from Baar Baar Dekho gives one a no-holds barred view of her sculpted sun-kissed body as she saunters on the picturesque beaches in the song. Katrina Kaif donned a pink swimsuit in Baar Baar Dekho and made sure that she brought a carefree and laidback attitude to an otherwise sultry swimsuit.
2. PRIYANKA CHOPRA- Priyanka Chopra, PC for short ensured that the temperature on the beaches of Miami increased by a few notches when she strutted in a shimmery golden swimsuit in Dostana. What I can say for certain is that cine-goers back home had their jaws drop in awe.
3. SHILPA SHETTY- And here comes another Dostana girl! Shilpa Shetty Kundra has a body sculpted to perfection. Period. But when she swaddles herself in an itsy-bitsy swimsuit while grooving to the tunes of ‘Shut Up and Bounce’ all you can do is look at her unblinkingly while controlling yourself from slobbering.
4. SHRADHHA KAPOOR- Her face and frame both bill her as a typical happy-go- lucky, effervescent and exuberant girl-next- door whom you would have always wanted to ask out for a date but couldn’t summon the courage to. But when the livewire Shraddha sports a swimsuit (with an enviable bralette) not only do you get an impetus to modify your beach wardrobe majorly but also you are left gasping for more.
5. KIARA ADVANI- The Fugly actress ensured that she took all her fans by surprise as she posed in a black swimsuit for the magazine cover of Maxim India February 2015. Kiara Advani’s sensual avatar here certainly grabs one’s eyeballs.
6. ESHA GUPTA- The Desi Angelina Jolie- Esha Gupta oozed seduction, magnetism and appeal as she swaddled herself in an itsy-bitsy swimsuit for Elle Magazine. The cover of the magazine reads “Esha Gupta in summer’s sexiest swimwear”. After having a look at it, one cannot help but nod almost hypnotically in approval.
7. JACQUELINE FERNANDEZ- Sri Lankan import and former beauty queen- Jacqueline Fernandez unleashed her sensual and sultry facet as she sent the carnal interests of one and all into a tizzy with her audacious and alluring swimsuit appearances in Murder 2. She certainly raised the visual appeal of the thriller by a few notches, we say!
Editor’s Note: I saw the movie yesterday and Katrina looked fab, the only good thing to see in the terrible movie :p She looked mesmerizing in that hot pink bikini with voluminous, blow dried hair and that tan! Also Esha Gupta and Shilpa Shetty can rock anything! Super hot bods! Agree on PC too, that gold bikini scene is unforgettable 😀
For years she had been targeted for two things. One, her weight. Two, her questionable and distasteful sense of raiment. Never did she buckle down once for either. Over the years, not only has Parineeti Chopra’s weight has become the talking point of Tinsel-town (dare you say that she’s out of shape. The vivacious lady looks drop-dead gorgeous in her chiselled avatar and what better than she working out for what she wanted instead of positing excuses?) but also her sartorial sense has ameliorated. We see Chopra Junior experiment and hit the bullseye quite often these days. So, let’s have a rundown of some of the Best Off-screen Looks of Parineeti Chopra 🙂
1. ON ‘LOOK WHO’S TALKING’- Swaddled in a black top from Zara and a red paint splatter skirt from The Source, Chopra Junior shot for an episode of Look Who’s Talking. She accessorised her look with a jeweled statement necklace and sported a pair of gorgeous Jimmy Choos. This look surely gets a thumbs up, Parineeti!
2. BOHEMIAN VIBES AT A STORE LAUNCH– Clad in denim shorts with a pink tee and floral cape that Parineeti teamed with nude wedges and multi-layered neck pieces, the Ishaqzaade actress made heads turn for all the right reasons at the H&M store launch in Noida. Not a lot many women can carry a bohemian look and Parineeti clearly does not fall in that category. The chirpy Chopra looks effortlessly sassy and easy on the eyes.
3. IN AN ANARKALI- Swathed in a beige anaarkali with the picture-postcard locales of Jaipur in the backdrop, Parineeti looks gorgeous minus gaudy (and that’s difficult to look as anarkalis tend to be opulent hence, chances of one looking gaudy are high if not carried/accessorised well). The young ‘Dawat-e- Ishq’ heroine delineates exquisiteness here, doesn’t she?
4. IN MUSKAAN GOSWAMI– Swathed in a blazer dress by Intrinsic by Muskaan Goswami, Parineeti Chopra dazzled on the red carpet of the HT Style Awards. One usually doesn’t go minimalistic when attending red carpet events that showcase more of bling and glitz; however Chopra Junior doesn’t go by the book. And who doesn’t love that rebellious streak of hers?
5. GOING PLAYFUL- Clad in a burgundy embellished blouse from Kanika Goyal that was paired with high-waisted shorts, Parineeti attended an event for a brand. Accessorising with caged heels and an oversized hat, she redefined the art of comfy dressing. We are swooning, Chopra Junior.
6. ON THE SETS OF KBC 8- Swaddled in a peplum style blue dress to promote Daawat-E- Ishq on Kaun Banega Crorepati, Parineeti topped the dress with a chunky statement necklace by The Source. She rounded off her look with black booties by Steve Madden. Now that is called chic dressing!
7. IN A TAREK SINNO GOWN- Swathed in a flared embellished gown by Tarek Sinno for the Zee Cine Awards 2016, the effervescent actress accessorised her look with petite baubles by Farah Khan Ali and shoes by Heel & Buckle. Nude makeup along with a braided hairdo completed her ethereal look.
Sometimes, a part two becomes indispensable say- in case of your favourite flick that left you wanting for more after it ended and the same can be extended to admiring the looks of men across our border 🙂 With Top 10 most good looking Pakistani men, I brought to you the most famed, easily-identifiable and unquestionably charismatic Pakistani men- a great many of whom you would have feasted your eyes to on TV or in flicks. With Top 10 Most Good-Looking Pakistani Men: Part 2, here’s to those heartthrobs who are just as good as the previous ones though not as easily identifiable to an average Indian “yet”. Shall we begin pampering our eyes then?
1. EMMAD IRFANI- *Drool *Sigh *Slobber that’s what this 36 year old model from Peshwar is desirability-personified. With features chiselled to perfection and piercing gaze that sets one motionless, here is to this hot property who is every inch a Greek God.
2. MOHSIN ABBAS HAIDER- A gifted singer who’s foraying into Lollywood (Pakistan’s film industry) with “Teri Meri Love Story”, Mohsin is the classic example of the adage- Where there is a will, there is a way. Faced with countless obstacles in the inception of his journey in the field of professional arts, he persevered and how! Thankfully, he did else we wouldn’t have treated our ears to his soulful a capellas. ‘Zameen-O- Zaman” and “Wo Su-e- lalazar’ being my earworms. Not to forget, doesn’t have typical chocolate boy looks? He’s married so, kindly do not set on hypothetical voyages
3. SAMI KHAN- A thorough gentleman at first sight, Sami Khan set his foot in the Pakistani entertainment industry in the year 2004 but it was in 2011 that he bagged his first Best Actor award at the 16 th PTV Awards. Doesn’t he look devastatingly good-looking?
4. ADEEL HUSSAIN- There’s a glint of mischief in the eyes of this innocent-looking 38 year old Pakistani actor- Adeel Hussain who is best known for his roles in Daam, Mata-e- Jaan Hai Tu, Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai and Mera Naseeb. His performance in the recent Pakistani flick “Ho Mann Jahan” earned him a lot of fanfare and rightly so.
5. AFFAN WAHEED- Cuteness is appositely his epithet. Watching him with sheep’s eyes as he recites soul-stirring shayaris in Urdu would melt you without a doubt! 31 year old Affan Waheed is best known for his roles in Main Bushra and Aik Pal.
6. SHEHROZ SABZWARI- The doting father of Noorain and husband of the chirpy Syra Yousuf, Shehroz Sabzwari is your typical high-school crush who’d bring back memories of those days in the twinkling of an eye. Best known for his role in the film Khulay Aasman Ke Neechay directed by Javed Sheikh, he is textbook definition of a chocolate boy.
7. SIKANDER RIZVI- A man’s desirability hits roof top if he happens to concoct lip-smacking cuisines. And if that man is inherently blessed in the looks department, the combo becomes fatal. Sikander Rizvi is a Pakistani film actor and chef, known for playing the lead role in the romantic comedy Dekh Magar Pyar Se along with Humaima Malick. Not only that, he owns a café in Karachi which makes him don another hat besides being an actor!
8. MOHIB MIRZA- It’s by a quirk of fate that this debonair actor forayed into acting. As a student, he ran out of funds to pay the fees for the nest semester, so he along with this friends began a theatre company og their own called “Dramybazz” . They wrote and staged a play “One way ticket”, which ran in PACC for 7 days receiving an overwhelming response. Mohib, as a result earned thrice the amount he needed to fund the next semester. Soon TV followed and recently he was seen as the male protagonist in the Pakistani flick “Bachana” opposite Sanam Saeed which garnered rave reviews.
9. SHAHZAD NOOR- A charismatic Pakistani model and actor- Shahzad Noor won two Best Model Male awards at 10th Lux Style Awards and 14th Lux Style Awards respectively. He received three consecutive nominations at Hum Awards as Best Model Male, winning one.
10. USMAN MUKHTAR- A Pakistani director, producer, and actor rolled into one- Usman Mukhtar is one of the few independent directors based out of Islamabad, Pakistan. Doesn’t he remind you strongly of Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Caribbean? Captain Jack Sparrow, we are swooning already.

The stage is set. The gruelling hours put in rehearsals are waiting to throw results. The awards are ready to make someone’s day. Film award ceremonies in India, no matter rigged or genuine, do provide a wide gamut of entertainment besides evincing the knack (or at times, unfortunately the lack of it) in fashion of our Tinseltown celebrities. So, on that note let’s take a look at the best red carpet looks of Bollywood ladies who sashayed in sheer panache and let everyone bewitched.
1. KRITI SANON – This newbie has definitely caught the fancy of fashionistas with her simple, subtle but stunning fashion sense. Seen her is Kriti Sanon all decked up in an orange gown with almost zero accessories and a neatly done hairdo on the red carpet of Star Guild Awards 2016. The look is as simple as it gets but catches ones eyeballs. Who said simple cannot be stunning? Kriti is here to refute it and how!
2. PRIYANKA CHOPRA- Often hailed as a fashionista, Priyanka Chopra floored one and all on the red carpet of Oscars 2016 when she opted for this white embellished strapless gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad. With her hair pulled into a subtle pony with a centre part, she walked the ginormous red carpet with panache.
3. AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN- Miss World 1994 opted for a strapless Oscar de la Renta gown in maroon at Cannes Film Festival 2015. Often accused for committing major style blunders in the past when it came to Cannes, Aishwarya nails it with this look. Smittten? Who wouldn’t be? 🙂
4. SHRADDHA KAPOOR- With such a cherubic and angelic face as hers, it would be difficult to look unprepossessing. On the green carpet of IIFA 2015, Shraddha Kapoor grabbed all the limelight for this simple strapless black gown that complemented her petite frame well. With a dazzling smile, minimal makeup and accessories, Shraddha looked a million bucks.
5. DEEPIKA PADUKONE- Mark my words- If there is any list on the most gorgeous/fashionable/elegant ladies, it’d be incomplete if she doesn’t make an appearance. Deepika Padukone glows effulgently in this elaborate and embellished Sabyasachi saree. With her hair done in a neat bun and a heart-warming smile, Deepika set a number of hearts fluttering (mine included) 🙂
6. KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN- Sashaying down the red carpet of Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards in a lemon colour Roberto Cavalli gown, the Begum of Pataudi- Kareena Kapoor Khan delineated the art of effortless dressing.
7. ANUSHKA SHARMA– There is a vibe of chirpiness, effervescence and a-girl- next-door surrounding this leggy lass who stepped into the glitzy world of Bollywood opposite SRK with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008 which makes her likeable. Not to forget, she was a model before switching over to acting so, her dressing sense has to be impeccable (as we expect naturally). Seen here is this towering lady swaddled in a light yellow Gauri and Nainka gown, which at the Vogue Beauty Awards. Dreamy, we say!

The glitzy and glamorous world of Tinseltown throws ample opportunities to B-town ladies (and men alike) to showcase their stylish best. While designers have a major role to play here yet, there is certainly no denying that one needs to have that X-Factor to carry apparel with panache. After all, one should not let clothes wear him/her but bring their own charm and je ne sais quoi to the attire
On that note, let us have a glance at those B-town ladies who strut with panache on the ramp donned in the most chic apparel.
1. KANGANA RANAUT- Some people despite swaddled in the snazziest possible attire, fail to make a mark. Not Kangana Ranaut. Ever. This curly-haired lady is as fashionable as amazing an actor she is. Almost always in the good books of the Fashion Police, Kangana manages to send the audience into a tizzy every time she sashays in designer outfits on the ramp. Seen here is this powerhouse performer walking the ramp in Mumbai as the showstopper for Vero Moda Marquee. And she exudes aplomb!
2. DEEPIKA PADUKONE- A celebrated model and an equally renowned heroine of late, this leggy lass commenced her career in the showbiz by walking the ramp for a number of designers including some industry big shots. Seen here is Deepika swaddled a beautiful midnight blue bridal lehenga. The lehenga had zari zardosi embroidery all over. She walked the ramp for ace Indian designer Manish Malhotra showcasing his collection at the Delhi Couture Week. Noticeably, the collection was inspired by 1930’s. The colour palette includes deep shades like wine red, olive green, royal blue, mustard and gold. The collection has old vintage and royal look to it.
3. KATRINA KAIF- She looks as ethereal as a Greek Goddess as she struts the ramp for ace Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani’s spring-summer 2016 line. Inspired by the nomadic beauty of the Kutch desert tribes. Katrina and Aditya looked smouldering hot in the ace designer’s SS16 collection.
4. NARGIS FAKHRI- That pout sends all the selfie-addicts into a tizzy, doesn’t it? 😛 Nargis Fakhri is another top model who has walked the ramp time and again for ace designers. Seen here is the glamorous Nargis sashay the ramp in a Anushree Reddy lehenga-choli at LFW Winter Festive 2014. Her natural radiance adds to the beauty of the attire, doesn’t it? 🙂
5. SONAM KAPOOR- She is a Fashionista. Period. Swaddled in unarguably the most high-end designer outifts, Sonam makes sure all the eyes are on as she sashays the ramp every time. Seen here is Sonam decked in opulent jewellery from head to toe while beaming radiantly as she walked the ramp at IIJW 2013.
6. PRIYANKA CHOPRA- ‘Desi Girl’ has been the title that is aptly conferred on her. Looking jaw-dropping in this gorgeous lime green sari paired with a dove grey strappy blouse, PC walked the ramp for ace designer Manish Malhotra at LFW Summer/Resort 2013 Day-1. The sari boasted a delicate sequinned border and a slash of fuchsia across the border of the pallu. Side-swept waves and a rose pink lippie completed her look. Boy! I can stare shamelessly at her back unblinkingly 🙂
7. JACQUELINE FERNANDEZ- Sashaying down the ramp at LFW Day-2, Jacqueline’s million dollar smile lit up the stage as much as the shimmery bridal lehenga that she donned. She was swaddled in a glittering lehenga, fully embroidered long sleeved choli and net dupatta, along with beautiful jewellery to complement her look. She walked the ramp for top shot designer Anju Modi.
There are some words in English whose meaning is best explained by the Oxford English dictionary. And then, there are some words which are best explained by the men from across the border. For instance, dashing, debonair, hunky, charismatic, alluring… Phew! I can go on and on with this. The point is our neighbours are blessed really well in the looks department and it doesn’t hurt to admire them overtly once, does it? 🙂
If the women set hearts aflutter thanks to their piercing eyes, captivating smile, lustrous mane and striking features, the men make our hearts skip a beat thanks to the visual service they do to us. Thank you, Zee Zindagi for treating our minds to dramas with rock solid plots (with a few exceptions here too) and people who are ridiculously good-looking. So, on that note, why not feast our eyes to those very men from the other side of the border who leave us drooling? 😀

Osman Khalid Butt- A comedian, YouTuber, script writer, poet, secret dancer(or shall I say ‘Dancer in the dark’?) and an actor rolled into one, Osman Khalid Butt- Obi for short, is one of the A-Listers of Pakistan’s drama industry. With a chiselled jawline, piercing eyes and witty one-liners thrown on the spur of the moment by the man, he surely ranks high on the desirability meter. Spare me a minute for I am swooning By the way, his performance in the subtly nuanced comedy drama Aunn Zara remains my favourite so far.
2. Mikaal Zulfiqaar- You saw him umpteen times scorch the screen with his regal looks on Zee Zindagi. In fact, you even saw him in the 2015 Hindi film – Baby play the role of an undercover Indian agent. Mikal Zulfiqaar is a London-born Pakistani actor and model who too features as an A-Lister in Pakistan’s drama industry. He won Best Actor title in Hum TV Awards held in Dubai in April, 2015, for his role in the drama serial ‘Muhabbat subah kaa sitara hai’
3. IMRAN ABBAS NAQVI- Born in the city of lights- Karachi, Imran Abbas Naqvi catapulted to instant fame with the success of his drama- Dil-E- Muztar in 2013. His chemistry opposite Pakistani actress Sanam Jung was the talk of the town. His features are the textbook definition of ‘well-defined’. Intense eyes, a mesmerizing voice and brooding looks make him a complete package.
4. SHEHRYAR MUNAWAR SIDDIQUI- Just have a look at that melting smile and cute eyes. Swoon… Okay, come back now. You saw him perhaps the first time as the unassuming, obliging and sweet as saccharine Usama in Zindagi Gulzar Hai and were left wondering,“Who is that guy?” 😀 An actor by profession, Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui is notable for his role in Hum TV serial Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley, for which he won Hum Award for Best New Sensation Television. Here’s to this chocolate boy who strikes a chord with his honest performances 🙂
5. AHSAN KHAN- A thorough gentleman… that’s what bursts in my mind the moment I look at him. Prim and proper, courteous, dignified and inexplicably good-looking, it is as if the word gentleman was coined after him! Ahsan Khan is a Pakistani film and television actor, host and performer. The fact that he bagged the Hum Award for Best Actor Critics for his show Mausam speaks volumes about his acting chops.
6. ALI ZAFAR- Cute face? Check. Soulful voice? Check. Acting skills? Check. Desirable? Double check. That’s Ali Zafar for you. A Pakistani actor, singer-songwriter, musician and painter, Ali is the first to establish a career in the Hindi cinema and his success led many Pakistani actors to venture into Bollywood films. He made his acting debut with a leading role in the 2010 Bollywood satire film Tere Bin Laden which I find one of the most sensible comedy movies in recent times churned by the Hindi film industry. His performance in the film garnered critical appreciation and earned him several nominations in the Best Male Debut category, including Filmfare.
7. DANYAL ZAFAR- Closely following the footsteps of his elder brother Ali Zafar, the 22 year old Danyal is exceptionally good-looking. Need evidence? Scroll up and come back within 15 minutes. I bet you can’t 😛 All of 22 and Danyal gained recognition with his first appearance on the screen in the short film The Time Machine, released in 2014. A singer and a guitarist by passion, Danyal who has keen interest in blue and rock music genre jams with his brother Ali and also accompanies him in stage performances. We know where the influence is coming from now 🙂 One thing is for sure, great genes run in the Zafar family.
8. DANISH TAIMOOR- ‘Heart break alert’… He’s married and that too, to none other than the alluring Ayeza Khan. They have a daughter named Hoorain and look picture perfect together. Doesn’t that speak volumes about the charm of Mr. Taimoor? Danish Taimoor is a Pakistani actor and model. He began his career in 2005 and his notable work includes Meri Behen Maya, Mannchalay, Jab we Wed , Shert, Sari Bhool Humari thi, Aik Pal and Mehreen Jabbar’s Rehai.
9. ADNAN MALIK– A Pakistani television actor, model, documentary filmmaker, video and music video producer, commercial and music video director, Visual storyteller and former VJ all rolled into one, Adnan Malik is the new sensation of Pakistani entertainment industry at the moment. Born in Islamabad, Adnan made his television debut as an actor in Sadqay Tumhare which earned him a Hum Award for Best Actor Popular nomination at 3rd Hum Awards.Not to forget, he looks the notorious, suave and charming funny man who has the ladies swooning over him as much as they are laughing their hearts out on his witty one-liners.
10. FAWAD KHAN- They say ‘Save the best for the last’. I followed suit. He needs no introduction. Look at those deep, intense, piercing eyes as if staring straight into one’s soul. Melt. That smirk which turns one’s cheeks into all shades of red needs no elaboration. Melt again. His voice that strikes all the chords. The tehzeeb with which he speaks… I can go on and on but eventually nothing will do justice to the man who is the textbook definition of desirability – Fawad Afzal Khan. All I have to say is- You sir, are incredibly good-looking. I am staring at you SHAMELESSLY :p
Editor’s Note: Fawad Khan was a little skinny earlier, then he put on some weight and I saw him in person at an event, needless to say, I am a fan now! Also love Ali Zafar. Imran Abbas Naqvi is going to be a new favourite, I guess 😀
With each passing year we witness a sea of newcomers making inroad into the glitzy, glamorous and glittering world of Tinseltown. Some sparkle with their author-backed roles while some fizzle point-blank in addition to taking the audience for a ride (a ride they would never sign up for even if offered a free ticket)! Amongst all those who venture into Bollywood, there are some whose sense of dressing and taste in fashion compels us to sit back and take a notice after all, they might just be the next ‘Fashionistas’ of B-town 🙂
On that note, here is a compendium of those B-town ladies, some of them yet to be launched while most new-comers, who have it in them to be the next Fashionistas of Tinseltown.
1. KRITI SANON- A towering height? Check. An enviable body? Check. Glossy mane? Check. Pert and ebullient attitude? Check. A gorgeous face? Check. Anything left? Oh yes, an impeccable sense of style. This Delhi girl makes sure that even if she swathes herself in the simplest of attires, heads would turn. A newbie in Tinseltown who looks effortlessly stylish in even a simple pair of jeans and tops/tees, Kriti’s style is easy-going, fun and vivacious. Certainly, one lady for whom all the boys would do Heropanti to win her over!
2. VAANI KAPOOR- She scorched the silver screen with Shudh Desi Romance in 2013 as Gayatri but went missing from the big screen thereafter. She is back this year with the quirky Ranveer Singh in YRF’s Befikre and we couldn’t be any happier for the chirpy lady’s laidback sense of style is what we are going to be treated to.
3. KHUSHI KAPOOR- Now, comes a lady who hasn’t be formally launched but thanks to Instagram, we get to glimpses of this gorgeous lady who is making the right waves with her sartorial choices. The daughter of Bonny & Sridevi Kapoor and the cousin of the reigning Fashionista of Tinseltown- Sonam Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor is one lady whom we are eagerly looking forward to w.r.t. the style department. Doesn’t this picture of hers exude oomph and aplomb as she unleashes her gothic avatar? 🙂
4. MALAVIKA MOHANAN- A newbie in the Malayam film industry, Malavika Mohanan is the best out of the lot for me. There is something about her that makes me go “Ah! She is so sophisticatedly sensual” every time I see a picture of her. Be it ethnic wear or Western apparel, she is rules the roost and how! An expression of her creative energies- The Scarlet Window, her Tumblr blog is a treat to the eyes of fashion connoisseurs.

Quite naturally, for all the fashion enthusiasts out there, her account is Aladdin’s cave. It is a like a tour to her eclectic wardrobe and no lady who is fond of fashion would want to miss it. Need some inspiration to style a particular jacket or want to try a new hairstyle? Sonam’s account is right there for recourse 🙂

ALIA BHATT-(@aliaabhatt)‘Moody, floaty, fire and desire’ so goes her bio and while we cannot comment on the first two, we surely know that there is a lot to be discovered about this perky and zealous actress who many desire irrespective of their age. All of 23 and her sartorial choices are apposite to her age and persona- young, vibrant, energetic, ebullient and vivacious with lots of cuteness peppered on it.

Do you follow these Bollywood ladies on Instagram?
Who would have thought that a leading Bollywood lady would don a bikini given the holier-than-thou and ultra-conservative setup of our society in the 60s- a time when even the vamp’s (dressed in a saree) viciousness had to be manifested by the rhythmic raising of her brows?
It took Sharmila Tagore a Filmfare shoot to mellow down the shame/discomfort in sporting one. A trailblazer in the truest sense of the word, she took everyone by storm when she sported a tow- piece on the cover of Filmfare. It was in 1967. Roughly, half a century later and we have B-town actresses sporting bikinis well relative ease 🙂 A great many of them not just sport it but in fact, sizzle in it compelling both men and women to drool uncontrollably. On that note, let us have a look at those B-town ladies who manage to set temperatures soaring with their bikini avatars.
1. DEEPIKA PADUKONE- Touted as the ‘Bollywood Actress with the Best Body’, it is no surprise that Deepika makes it to the list. Do I even need to expatiate a bit on why? Just look at her. Isn’t her body typically what we call “body goals”? Sculpted to perfection, chiselled with grace and carried with elan, Deepika raises temperatures with her bikini act.
2. LISA HAYDON- This towering lass who is a former model by profession, is blessed with luminous skin, well-defined features and a body to kill for. Naturally, it goes without saying that she carries off a bikini with sheer aplomb.
3. SAPNA PABBI- This Khamoshiyaan actress may look like a typical girl-next- door thanks to her effervescent and pert features, but transforms into a sultry, sizzling and sensual diva the moment she dons a bikini. We are left panting, Ms. Pabbi!
4. BIPASHA BASU- This Bengali bombshell sets the silver screen on fire with her bikini act EVERY TIME she makes an appearance in that two-piece. The sheer confidence she exudes is unparalleled. Didn’t we drool helplessly as she strutted down the beaches in Dhoom 2 and Players? Oh, yes we did.
5. NARGIS FAKHRI- Spare me a minute to compose myself. Those long, unending legs are droooool-worthy. This half Czech- half Pakistani leggy lass is a former model and carries off outfits with aplomb. Period. We had a little sneak-peek of her bikini avatar in Main Tera Hero’s song ‘Galat Baat’ but here is a full-blown visual of this smouldering lady who is sensuality incarnate.
6. ADITI RAO HYDARI- Cuteness is the epithet for Aditi any day. With a heart-warming smile, doe-shaped eyes and pert persona, Aditi resembles a typical girl next door but she magically turns into the seductive diva as she dons a bikini. That is one heck of a transformation but who’s complaining? 😀
7. LARA DUTTA- If there was anything remotely memorable about the movie- Blue, it has to be the visuals of the sultry and exotic Lara Dutta sauntering beaches and swaying underwater. Her sun-kissed skin added an exquisite touch to her bikini avatar. Sensual, exotic, sultry, mesmerising, captivating… keep the adjectives coming. It’s Miss Universe Lara Dutta after all!

While we sing paeans in the honour of eyes for they are appositely called “The windows to one’s soul”, there is another part of ours that exudes sensuality in an unprecedented way. Be it the slight slit of a crop top that gives a peak-a- boo to those chiseled muscles running all the way down or the 9-yard long saree which lets one flaunt that sculpted back the way you have always wanted to, there is no denying that backs are sensual and if flaunted rightly, they can set temperatures soaring 🙂 Tinseltown too, has a fair share of ladies whose backs leave us drooling every time we spot them in attire that flaunts their covetous possession. The grace with which her waist sways and back arches makes her look feminine and enchanting simultaneously.

KATRINA KAIF- To those who don’t know, in De Dana Dan (an Akshay-Katrina starrer comedy flick), a special song was added (yes, the ones whose stills you are feasting your eyes to) to bank upon this on-screen couple’s sizzling chemistry. While the lesser we say with regards to the flick, the better but we surely do not disapprove the person(s) whose idea it was 🙂 After all, we got to see that this Hong-Kong born lady has a back that tantalises one to the T.
5. NARGIS FAKHRI- Miss Fakhri who is all the way from The States, has a pout that is the shutterbugs’ fancy to capture. A former model, Nargis posts about her diet and exercise routines on her Instagram account and fortunately, we now ken what that chiseled back of hers is a result of.
6. ANUSHKA SHARMA- Ms. Sharma who redefines pertness, vivaciousness and ebullience is not just a storehouse of energy and youth but also the proud owner of a sultry back that is well- flaunted here by her.
7. PRIYANKA CHOPRA- We, Desis particularly the ladies have some unique possessions just like women across the globe are blessed in some departments. And when swathed in Desi apparel, those possessions get highlighted like never before.
