1 day of all about Lips cheeks n brows:

– Highlighting the face with precise zones
– Right methods of blush application for each face shape
– different forms of blush application
– Adding the million dollar glow to face
– knowing the BROW, brow shaping

– concealing of eyebrows and right products and tools needed to reshape

3 days of bridal beauty :
– the right makeup for the right bride
– how to get a glowing bride
– reflective makeup suitable for the bridal occasion
– usage of HD makeup
– skin preparation and SOS product guideline
– making the right choice of the look
– day to night makeup transformations
– specific colors of brides of different ethnicities
– adding durability to the bridal makeup
– the last minute touch up process
– hands on experience on achieving different looks for different occasions

2 days of fashion Makeup :
– using UV and neon colours
– learning the current trends from fashion weeks
– dramatic makeup for catwalk
– stage makeup
– special makeup effects like the speckled liner and the Black swan eye
– basics of face and body makeup using aqua colors
– makeup for photography

PHOTOSHOOT
Each gets models of their own 3 looks to be made from natural nude editorial to a day Bride or a Day makeup look and then the night Bride for function or the Fashion icon look all in presence of Subi Samuel. This gives the makeup student a grand introduction in the makeup industry and helps him/her target potential clients.

b) AIRBRUSH
Duration : -4 days 11 am to 1 pm
Syllabus : –
– the technique of airbrush
– airbrushing products and how to use them
– the main use of air brush, its limitations and its plus points
– stenciling body art and body painting
– the blending of regular makeup to airbrush makeup
– airbrushing techniques for eyeshadows, eye liners and eye brows
– contouring and highlighting with air brush

c) PERSONAL GROOMING
Learn the best use of makeup and knowing the art of makeup to enhance ones’ personal features. 5 day course that deals with makeup basics, understanding of makeup, color theory and how to achieve makeup looks for office, day wear, party and other occasions.

d) TREND UPDATES
For the passed out certified students, Cherag offers a current makeup trend update class that deals with the recent innovations and improvements in the field of makeup. The classes are also a good source to polish makeup skills and sort out makeup related queries.

Aishwarya’s Floral Dress, Armani Gown and Amazing Makeup at Cannes 2013

First let me clarify, no it was not both together :p Well, of course not..

She came in a floral embroidery Abu Jani- Sandeep Khosla gown for the Blood Ties Premiere..paired with a blush colored clutch..is’nt that plain and too blah ?! The dress could have been better if it was not soo heavy..makeup wise same smokey eyes and nude lips..

By the way, if you like her smokey eyes and nude lips..here is the makeup breakdown..L’oreal Paris True Match Foundation, Volume Million Lashes Mascara, Superliner Black Lacquer, True Match Blush in Grapefruit, Color Riche Eyeshadow Palette Velours Noir and Color Riche Matte Mania Lipstick in Silky Toffee..

She definitely came up with better makeup later..for her L’oreal Paris interview..in a black suit with lace detailing on the collar and sleeves and structured pants..she looks chic..and that bold red lips and nails floored us, did’nt it? 😉

For the Cleopatra premiere, she chose a teal Armani Privé gown…paired with fluttery lashes and hot pink lips…I loved the teal color…but not the structure..and the hot pink lips..but whats with that high straight bun ?! A lower bun could have looked so classy and good..

I loved that white shirt and black fishtail skirt she wore the first day..so chic..

Though her looks were hits and misses..but this time fortunately more hits than misses 😉

For Inside Llewyn Davis premiere, she wore a black Elie Saab Couture gown…and its gorgeous…I love the gown..and her simple makeup..smokey eyes..but not so smokey..and nude lips..and bouncy hair…me likess..

For the 100 years of Indian cinema Gala, she chose a black and gold baroque Sabyasachi couture lehenga-sari…works for her..she looks pretty..I liked that gold hear gear thingie too..

Sonam Kapoor at Cannes 2013

Ok…I know a lot has been written about Sonam already..here I have combined all her outfits at Cannes 2013.

Sonam and Freida are L’oreal Paris Ambassadors and represent L’oreal Paris at Cannes every year..

In a cropped top and Anamika Khanna jacket when she was getting ready..I loved the jacket..and the fresh makeup and soft curls..

On the first day, she wore a Huemn gown and mom Sunita K’s signature jewellery line’s earrings..styling by sister Rhea Kapoor..fashion runs in the family :p

Yesterday she wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda Couture gown…its ethereal…so princessy..classic..paired with a necklace from her mom Sunita K’s line..I loveee it..

At the Opening Gala dinner she chose an Elie Saab couture pink lace and beaded full skirted dress with pink Saab ankle strap pumps and a pink jeweled clutch..matched to her pink lips..too much pink going on here..though I like the dress..I feel she could have broke the monotonous pink somewhere..

At The Great Gatsby screening, she wore Anamika Khanna Couture white lace sari with a long embroidered baroque jacket and completed the look with a huge nath from her mom’s line..I love the sari and the jacket..though not a fan of the nath somehow..I know people have loved it..maybe its just me..but actually I cannot imagine it on anyone else 😀 She is carrying it well rather than anyone else..whats your take on the nath ?

Makeup wise she stole the show..retro winged liner and deep merlot red lips and lot of shimmer..the shimmer on the forehead and face could have been lesser..but I loved the eyes and lips..

Today she wore a black lace Shehla Khan gown and Chopard Jewellery…the necklace is pretty..but the lehenga is kinda ok..not too much a fan..though I like the black and lace combo..does not work on this lehenga..

Which look did you like the most ? I feel she looks good in most of her appearances..what do you think ?

Pooja Chopra in Commando

I saw Commando yesterday..loved Vidyut Jamval’s stunts..he is amazing ! No words..

I loved Pooja Chopra’s girl next door kinda pretty look..she looks sweet..

She wore casuals throughout the movie except for songs..printed dresses, checkered shirts with denims, grey tank with orange cardigan and denim shorts..and one-two suits..

Her face was done well with a good coverage foundation and since her face is a little chubby, it was contoured..blush was not used in most of the scenes..I guess the focus was contouring..

Eyes were done amazingly well..smokey eyes with matte browns and taupes..and both upper and lower lashline were lined with lots of kohl..eyes were totally the centre of attraction..

She used deep mauve pink like Colorbar Velvet Matte Naked Pink or Inglot AMC Collection Matte Lip Pencil 23 throughout the movie..and nude brown in few scenes..except for the song ‘Loot Jawaan’ at the end where she used a shimmery pink eyeshadow and pink lipstick..(I did not like that combo :/)

Hair were sleek and straight throughout the movie..

Overall quite a nice wearable look..

Sonakshi Sinha in Dabangg 2

I saw Dabangg 2 few days back..Ok I am a big time Salman fan..like big time..and from yearss..though I did not like Dabanng 1 much..but 2 was super fun..full paisa vasool entertainment..and more so for Salman fans..

I liked Sonakshi’s look in the movie..

She wore sheer colorful saris, shaded saris and some with a light border in pink, yellow, blue, green mostly with three fourth sleeved backless blouses..the blouses were quite interesting though..embroidered, polka dots with a border, printed and colorful like this one below..in fact many of her saris are available online..let me know in the comments below if you want to know the link..

She has a braid with gajra in most part of the movie except 1-2 songs..coming to her makeup..

She has a flawless base with a good coverage foundation, kohled eyes, full brows, neutral eyeshadows like taupes and browns and well defined and lined eyes.

Dirty pink brown blushes used lightly..like MAC Mocha maybe..

For lips she has matte nude pinks, pinky browns like Lakme Lip Love Aphrodite Blush, Colorbar Naked Pink, Inglot AMC Matte Lip Pencil 23, MAC Cosmo, MAC Double Shot, etc..

I like the overall neutral and matte look..no bright colors, no shimmers..she has this perfect quintessential bahu look..

A Fresh Face

Resist the urge to powder your face every time you refresh your makeup — the result will look cakey. Instead, use blotting papers to keep makeup intact as you remove excess moisture.

Choosing a Concealer

Follow this rule of thumb when picking the right concealer for your skin’s undertones: If your skin tends to be ruddy (reddish), use a green color corrective stick; if you have a sallow (yellow) complexion, look for a concealer in shades of lilac or pink. Olive or darker skin tones need a peachy or apricot concealer.

A Natural Flush

Cream blushes and cheek stains will give your face a rosy glow that looks natural. Use your fingertips to blend the product into the apples of your cheeks in a circular motion. Lip Color With Staying Power

I do follow the lip color to stay longer one..And surely going to try the two types of mascara for fuller lashes !

Bipasha Basu in a gorgeous coral Pia Pauro sleeveless maxi dress with a thigh high slit..ok somehow I think it would have looked better without the slit..

But she has got everything perfect here..the necklace is awesome..the coral color goes oh so well with her skin tone..and do you see those gorgeous shiny legs..ahem before I sound like a lesbo :p

The luminous skin, winged liner, coral lippie, soft coral pink blush and the romantic bouncy curls..can someone say she was unwell and hospitalised a few days back ?! 😮

I am not a Bipasha fan..but cannot ignore her here..she looks ravishing !

I saw the movie yesterday..and its actually late..coz I am a big time Salman fan..and I like Katrina too..though the story is blah..I can watch them both..if you are a Salman or Katrina fan, you should watch it once..

Katrina has different looks in the movie..and has dressed according to the locations obviously..when they are in Ireland and she plays a student, she wears lots of T shirts, skirts, dresses with cardigans and jackets and then as an ISI agent, she wears embroidered salwar suits and later in Cuba, she is back to her shorts and dresses..I loved this red cage dress too in the song ‘Main Lapata’

She has kept her hair either tied back to a high pony or kept loose with lots of messy curls.

She has super glossy, shiny lips throughout mostly a baby pink or a bright neonish coral..and a peachy brown blush to compliment or a plummy pink in some..

And soft brown shadow on the eyes or basic brown smokey eyes in a few..

The part wear she plays an ISI agent and wears suits, she has thick rimmed kohl eyes and a nudish gloss to go with..

In the song ‘Mashalla’ she sports smokey eyes and nude lips..you can see brown smokey eyes with lots of kohl smudged on the outer half..and some contouring with a bronzer..

In the end chase scenes, she has a girl next door look with a matte MLBB shade and a no makeup kinda look..

Overall I quite loved her look from the basic styling to clothes to makeup, well she is one girl who actually looks good in everything though..

Diana Penty in Cocktail

I was quite excited to watch Cocktail and saw it on the first day..though the movie is quite ok..you can watch it once just for the styling..amazing work by Anaita Shroff Adajania…hats off

I loved Diana’s styling the most..though Deepika was hot..Diana’s style was more wearable and relatable..she wore cardigans, jackets, polka dots, stripes, checks..from the punjabi Delhi girl entering in salwar kameez, her style evolves better and better throughout the movie..

She had her hair open throughout in almost all the scenes..with the front bangs pinned in some and a side braid in some..

As far as her makeup is concerned, she had an au naturel look..her base was very light and minimal..she does have a good skin..

She has thick kohl on her upper and lower lashline throughout..the kohl is smudged on the upper lashline with some soft brown eye shadow blended in..muted gold in some scenes..and lots of mascara especially on the upper lashes..

And a peachy pink lipstick with a matching blush..and a MLBB shade in few scenes..

P.S: She being a Maybelline Brand Ambassador..says she loves and uses the Maybelline Colossal Kajal and BB Cream..and also likes the Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation.

I love her minimal, effortless, natural look..Do you ?
