OOTD: Orange Lace Dress, Floral Blazer, Indian Fashion Blog

OOTD: Orange Lace Dress, Floral Blazer

OOTD: Orange Lace Dress, Floral Blazer

Hi guys,

If you read the previous post, you know we had been for lunch yesterday at The Trident, BKC. We also ended up shooting the outfit since I loved the decor.

I wore this pretty orange lace dress which can also be worn off shoulder, but since I had layered it with a blazer, I wore it normally. I absolutely love the fit and how it hugs the waist and gives a shape and is not like a shift dress. Plus orange and yellow are my favourite colors <3

I wore this very light, floral blazer on top. It is so light, that I could comfortably wear it in these summers too. (obviously with the AC indoors) Since the dress and blazer are all bright and colorful, I skipped the accessories and kept the bag and shoes neutral.

So, I paired the outfit with my favourite Michael Kors sling (which you guys are bored of seeing now, but I am too lazy to change bags :D) and another current favourite, these tan brogues. Also added, a classic Daniel Wellington watch.

Who Wore What: 60th Britannia Filmfare Awards 2015

Who Wore What: 60th Britannia Filmfare Awards 2015

Yesterday night was the 60th Filmfare Awards night and we saw the Bollywood ladies in their best attire on the red carpet..here are a few I liked..

Ileana D’Cruz was seen in Nikhil Thampi black separates with a wide metallic gold belt and a dramatic cape completing the look with Dior earrings. I think she looked amazing and carried this off really well.

Sonam Kapoor went for Anamika Khanna lace separates with a cape and matching ankle strap sandals. The Sunita Kapoor jewellery and a hair updo to finish the look. It could have been perfect but heavy earrings and three heavy statement neck pieces was over accessorizing, something could have been skipped.

Kajol looked amazing in the Nikhil and Shantanu princessy gown and side swept hair

Madhuri kept it simple and chic in her navy blue self striped gown and bold red lips

Neha Dhupia stole the show in her Alpana Neeraj blue and black gown and that hair updo <3

Deepika Padukone wore a white Ashi Studio gown with white pumps and her signature vampy lips..kinda ok.

I think Neha Dhupia, Kajol and Illeana were clearly the best dressed..what do you think? Your Favourites?

OOTD: A Day at Ocean Park

OOTD: A Day at Ocean Park

Hey guys,

I am back with an OOTD. We went to Ocean Park in Hong Kong which is a must visit. It was amazing, it is so so huge! The rides were fab and we saw dolphins, penguins, seals, walrus, sea lion, birds, giant panda and so many other animals. It was so amazing to watch them play, roam around, jump, etc <3 I got some beautiful shots and videos, would share those in some other post.

This is what I wore to Ocean Park. A pretty simple electric blue belted shift dress with pockets. It was easy going and chic, usually shift dresses have no shape, the inbuilt belt here cinches the waist and makes your figure look more flattering.

I accessorized it with a pearl necklace and my Silvette stone ring. And the Bata floral shoes to complete the look. Since we had to walk a lot, flats were the only option!

Shoes: Bata (Shown HERE)
Necklace: W for Woman

Happy Me 😀
The blue indeed stands out!

Wedding Gowns and Bridesmaid Dresses

Wedding Gowns and Bridesmaid Dresses

There are a lot of options when it comes to the white wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses or prom dresses and more online websites too. One get confused as to which is the best site and where to buy from.

You get amazing evening dresses on Asos. And there are few others I like Oasap, Romwe, Sheinside, etc.

But when its an exclusive only wedding gowns website, you know you would get the best designs, fabrics and customization done. From lace to silk to taffeta. Backless lace to the fluffy mesh to the long trains. The gorgeous colors like royal blue, champagne, deep purple, baby pink to 60 more options.

One such website is WeddingShe. Beautiful designs, I love so many of them! A big wishlist on my account :p They have beautiful ‘Mother of the Bride’ dresses too and some not so heavy ones for the pre wedding functions too.

About WeddingShe: It is your reliable online purchasing channel.

Numerous selections together with attractive pages of imports give you an enjoyable on-line shopping experience. You are definitely not willing to leave.

The best thing is the prices, quite affordable and cheap. Also the short cocktail/prom dresses are super gorgeous. Check out more discount prom dresses here http://www.weddingshe.com/list/Evening-Dresses-14354/

I loved their entire collection. Definitely recommend checking out WeddingShe. They also have shoes, jackets, veils, jewellery, etc

OOTD: Little White Dress, Polka Dots Blazer

OOTD: Little White Dress, Polka Dots Blazer

Hey everyone,

After Diwali and New Year and all the Indian wear, I am back with an OOTD again. I have so many Little Black Dresses (LBD’s) but a Little White Dress is also crucial in your wardrobe.

I went for a white bodycon Little White Dress (LWD) this time. It fits like a glove and of course I had to wear my shapewear underneath it (Sigh! Girl’s problems) But it looks quite elegant and chic with the gold chain detailing on the shoulders.

I skipped a statement necklace since it had the chain detailing and went for statement gold earrings instead. And finished it with gold and stone bracelet and rings from Silvette. I am absolutely loving them, these days <3

Finally my black suede block heels with gold ankle strap.

I also layered it with a polka dots denim blazer. This blazer is so multi-use,would work with many of my outfits from denims to dresses. Its warm, thick, fits perfectly, snugs correctly and looks amazing. What else would one want from a blazer ?! 😀 I love it!

OOTD: Floral Dress, Black Blazer

Hey guys,

I am back with an OOTD. P.S: This is my 1600th post. Yay 😀  Trivia: Hopefully 2015th post would be in 2015 :p #nookbye

This is what I wore to the River Island for Jabong fittings at Lakme Fashion Week this time. Pics clicked by the lovely Shanaya from Little Miss Sinner.

I love floral dresses. I gave it a semi formal touch by adding the black blazer and black bag. Blue suede ankle strap heels complimented the blue flowers on the dress. The statement belt cinched the waist and gave a nice fit. Added a bronze statement necklace and a gold cuff, and my favourite Daniel Wellington watch to complete the look.

How to Look the Best on a Night Out at the Casino

How to look the best on a night out at the casino

For those who have never visited a land based casino, there may be several questions about what to expect. After all, these venues are much different than the online casinos on the internet. Of course, some online establishments  don’t require a dress code. One question many women have when looking at casinos relates to what kind of clothing to wear, if you look at casino films in Hollywood, the outfits are always high in glamour. But is this a necessity when going to a casino in real life? The best answer to this question is to contact the specific casino itself for more information. The website can be consulted or a call can be placed to the casino. The usual response will be a smart casual dress code which in some situations may be known as business casual.

Even though it’s not an ensemble comprised of separates, dresses can fall within the realm of smart casual. The hem length must be decent, generally, it should fall at the knees. Never wear a dress that has a hem shorter than that. Carefully consider colours and patterns when choosing a dress. Certain patterns aren’t as dressy even if the cut of the dress is. Black is always a wise choice as it can be dressed up or down with accessories like blazers, scarves or jewellery.

While some women may not want to wear dresses to the casino, they do have many other options. Slacks can be part of any smart casual outfit. They should be loose fitting. Avoid tighter styles as they aren’t quite dressy enough. Also, avoid fabrics that wrinkle easy. For instance, during the summer months, linen is a popular fabric but it does wrinkle easy which won’t keep you looking great during the night at the casino. Casual slacks can be worn which would include chinos and corduroys. If wearing these, the top garments of the outfit should be smart in nature to balance out the slacks.

What do you prefer to wear to a casino ?

Dresses For The Mother of the Bride

Dresses For The Mother of the Bride
Guest Post
Dresses for the mother of the bride are a very important part of pulling together a wedding. While the wedding parties may be large or small, they cannot go on without the mother of the bride. The mother of the bride is the person who must look the most stately. This means that she should be in a dress that allows her to look her best without looking matronly. The best mother of the bride dresses are the dresses that allow the lady to look sleek and slim without making her look to flamboyant. Many times, this is a hard fit to make because there are not many dresses on the market that will help the mother of the bride look her best.
The bride who wants her mother to look her best at the wedding can learn more by investigating the best types of dresses for her mother to wear at the wedding. This could include long, draped dresses that are slightly fitted to shorter dresses that are not quite as fitted and everything in between. The combination of the right fit and length is what is going to the mother of the bride the best look possible when she is sitting at the wedding and all during the reception.
The best gowns for the mother of the bride also must give her a color scheme that is going to look nice with the theme for the wedding. Without this connection to the theme of the wedding, it is hard for the mother of the bride to fit in at the wedding, and it is very important for her to fit in when she is the person who is one of the most important people at the ceremony.
Also, the mother of the bride must be in a gown that allows her to look her age without making her look too old for her personal taste. The best gowns of this type are going to flatter the lady’s figure while also giving her a chance to accessorize and look amazing. Many mothers of the bride look amazing because they choose a gown that is easy to accessorize and even easier to fit into once the big day comes. These gowns are of vital importance to the lady who must look her best and support her daughter on the biggest day of her life.

OOTD: Half Lace Blue And White Dress

OOTD: Half Lace Blue And White Dress

Hey everyone,
I am back with an OOTD after a long time..this time I wore this half lace half flared blue and white dress to my friend’s cocktail party..
I love how its half and lace and half like a normal flared high low uneven skirt..with a belt..looks like a separate skirt and top too..

It came with a black belt..and I kept the belt same..I paired it with a neon and bright diamante necklace ( I love this piece to bits..its one of my favorites ! ), a gold hollow cut out bracelet and set of gold rings..

And this super awesome colorful printed pumps..I loved these shoes..but did not expect them the heels to be sooo high..I seriously cannot walk comfortably in them..also may be coz there is no platform at the front..and the foot remains totally curved.. (How the hell do these actresses run, jump and dance in those heels 😮
