What the Company claims: Milky Lips L209 – Toffee Beige

WHAT – A long-wear, fluid lipstick that provides highly-pigmented colour, and a glossy finish that lasts overtime. Superior comfort both in application and on the lips. Plumping actives improve hydration and smooth your lips. Especially loved by women who do not like to feel lipstick on their lips.

WHY – The light texture of this highly pigmented, covering lipstick gives great definition to your lips, both as a fully covering shade, but also as a mere stain.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS – Vitamin E (Tocopherol), Candelilla Wax, Prune Seed Extract.

HOW – Apply Milky Lips with the brush applicator first by painting the lips with just a small amount of lipstick, then fully load the applicator to fill inside of the lips. Milky Lips is also great for a more stained effect: just load a tiny bit of the lipstick onto the applicator, apply and blot for a matte stain. Watch the instruction video!

A “Human Colour” and therefore suitable for each skin tone, age or style.

Directions: “For a subtle look with just a trace of color, either apply a feather-light layer all over the lips or apply Milky Lips to the middle of the lips and fade it with the fingertips.”

Ellis Lips comes in three textures: Creamy Lips (L101-109), Milky Lips (L201-209), and Glazed Lips (L301-309) and all have sheer to buildable coverage and are quite pigmented.

It comes in a classic Ellis Faas silver metallic pen packaging..with a brush applicator..the base needs to be twisted some 20-25 times for the first time for the product to come out..

The formula is sheerer and lighter compared to Creamy lips..but surely buildable as mentioned above..the glossiness fades and goes away within an hour and leaves behind a matte finish..and the color even settles into fine lines..

Shade L209 Toffee Beige looks more brown on some..but on me its a nice peachy nude..an everyday shade and I am loving the shade..I am not into browns but I sure love my nudes !

Pros:

1. Nice packaging.
2. Easy to use.
3. Quite pigmented.
4. Buildable.
5. No animal testing or parabens.
6. Good everyday nude or MLBB shade for medium skin tones.

Cons:

1. Expensive !
2. Glossiness goes away within an hour and settles into fine lines..one needs very moisturised lips for this.
3. Difficult to locate products when all together :/
4. Availability issues.

Overall I love the shade and the fact that its quite pigmented and buildable. I do like the packaging..but as the outer body is same, gets confusing to locate..the texture and quality is sure amazing..would surely recommend..

Creamy Eyes E103 – Deep Black

WHAT – The lifting, firming and protecting Creamy Eyes formula glides on like. Even a thin layer of this formula is extremely long-wearing and will stay fixed until taken off with a cleanser.

WHY – Creamy Eyes is ideal for a quick smoky eye, providing sufficient playtime before drying. Creamy Eyes can also be used like a thick pencil.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS – Para Cress flower extract stimulates natural skin-lifting capabilities. Coffee extract works to increase collagen and elastin production while also increasing natural skin defenses. Extreme wear is delivered through the synthetic filming polymers in volatile oils. The spongy soft mousse-like consistency of the texture is achieved through the innovative siliconic wax and siliconic gel in combination with beeswax.

Comes in 14 shades..from browns to greys to golds, bronze, taupes, green, blue..there is something for everyone..

Ellis Faas products come in silver pen packaging with an inbuilt brush for eyes and both brush and sponge for lips..for all pens you get out the product by turning the base of the pen clockwise. I loved the packaging..its quite unique..though at times you get more product out..so it does lead to wastage too..

The first time it does take time..and it needs about 25-30 clicks for the product to come out..and once you see it coming, just one click..better be slow or else too much product would ooze out..

E103 Deep Black is the most darkest, richest, pigmented black I have ever seen !! And boy, does it set once dry..it does’nt budge at all..this would give you the most easiest, quickest, fool proof smokey eyes possible ! The harsh edges can be blended going towards the crease with the fingers for a softer look..or a prominent cat eye shape..it can also be used as a liner..but I would suggest dipping your liner/angular brush into the product and lining..if you are not a fan of thick lines..the same way you can use your eyeshadow brush and build up your smokey eyes slowly..if you want more softer effect..

This does stay put whole day with very minimal fading..but no creasing at all..

Here I have used it all over with some blending towards crease and on the outer half of lower lash line and highlighted the brow bone and inner corners with NYX Jumbo Pencil in Yogurt..your go to 2 minute Smokey Eyes !

Pros:

1. Quite unique and nice packaging.
2. Rich Darkest Black ever seen.
3. Settles to a matte finish and does not budge at all.
4. Very minimal fading at the end of whole day but no creasing.
5. Comes off easily.
6. Can be used as a liner too.
7. Perfect for quick smokey eyes.
8. Works great as a base for all your deep smokey eyes.
9. No animal testing and no parabens.

Cons:

1. Expensive.
2. Available online..you can order it HERE
3. Sometimes excess product comes out and goes waste.

Overall I really love this..and I wish it would have been a little cheaper..I would have loved to own all the shades ! I surely recommend it..particularly this black if you love smokey eyes…coz it can be used in any way..as a liner, as a base, on its own for black smokey eyes..would also recommend E104 Grey Brown, E105 Deep Warm Taupe, E114 Bordeaux Red

Finally exams over ! I received certain RBR and Ellis Faas stuff for review..thought of sharing the pics with you..

Rouge Bunny Rouge Seas of Illumination Highlighting Liquid in Sea of Showers (Gorgeous stuff !!), Color Burst Lipstick and Long Lasting Eye Shadow..

“Dutch Fashion Here & Now India presents *DIED* & Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna / Suneet Varma & Jan Taminiau”!

* For their collaborative show, *DIED* made graphic designs on the fabric, which Rahul&Rohit then embroidered. So on the faces (evened out with ELLIS FAAS Skin Veil foundation, Concealer and Compact Powder) Ellis also drew black, graphic drawings using the black Creamy Eyes E103. On the lips is nude Milky Lips L209.

* For Rahul&Rohit’s solo collection, Ellis kept the faces quite simple and fresh, in contrast with the graphic collaborative collection. So she just made an even skin with ELLIS FAAS Skin Veil foundation and Concealer, adding black Eyeliner E501 and a nude Milky Lips L209. As an understated special effect, she put Golden glitter over the right side of the face, adding shine on the edges of the models’ faces. *DIED*’s solo was the same, but with a special mix of lipstick that is not in the ELLIS FAAS collection. And the face of their first girl was completely covered in Gold.

* For Jan Taminiau and Suneet Varma, Ellis decided on something with a strong, chic-tribal statement: having evened out with ELLIS FAAS Skin Veil foundation, Concealer and Compact Powder, she shaped the eyes with navy blue Creamy Eyes E113, varying with using it as a stain as well as a fully covering shade. She then shaded with the antique silver Light E301. The nude lip is Milky Lips L209.
