My experience with Garnier White complete Eye Roll On
The Garnier eye roll on comes in a very slick and attractive packaging. i like products which comes in slim packaging. It comes in long carton which has entire product details on it. Inside which there is a pen form roll on which is very slim and handy. You need to twist the product a bit and rub it lightly below the eye area.
I applied it both below and above the eye lid. Firstly, the texture of this roll on is not too light. It is more on heavier side. You have to swipe it twice to thrice to get the product out. Next, i was on the verge of when completing this but i couldn’t witness any dramatic change in my dark circles. I was so amazed that after so many boasting and tall product claims, this one didn’t work.
Conclusion – for me this roll on simply didn’t work.
Editor’s Note: I totally agree with you, have tried this long back and it did absolutely nothing. I used to love the Garnier Tinted Eye Roll On though not coz it did anything for dark circles, but was a perfect daily wear under eye concealer.

If you follow me on Snapchat (add me if you are not following yet! bhumika_t 😀 ) you might be knowing that I had taken up the Lotus Herbals #ReverseYourAge 1 month challenge. We had to click selfies every week for the difference to be visible on the skin. I have been using this entire range for around a month now and here is my review.
Let me tell you something about this range and what is common throughout the range. It comes in this pretty gold and purple packaging, the packaging is quite nice. Most of the stuff are easy to carry around, except the jars which are made of glass and kind of heavy. The serum bottle is also made of glass but it is very very thick and not something that will break easily.
The main ingredients in the entire Gineplex range are Ginger, Ginseng and Milk Peptide complex (Hence the name Gineplex) which are the key ingredients in anti-ageing + hydration+ firming. The entire kit costs around Rs.3000/-
Lotus Youth Rx Active Anti-Ageing Foaming Gel

It has a rotating cap packaging and is off white in color, has a texture mix of gel-creme and has small, brown jojoba seeds. It does not foam much but cleanses all the dirt, grime and basic makeup. It feels more like a scrub than face wash. I do not like foam based face washes, so this is just perfect for me. It does not dry the skin at all and the gentle exfoliation removes the dry skin flakes in winter. It is absolutely perfect for winter and I love this face wash/foaming gel. It is not meant for people who love heavy duty foaming though.

Ingredients:
The toner comes in a plastic bottle with a spray nozzle and a cap. 2 pumps are perfect, I mostly use it directly taking it on my palms and not use a cotton pad, works both ways. I absolutely love this toner, it is alcohol free and non drying. Plus it has green tea and castor oil which in turn tighten your pores and hydrate your skin. This toner again is perfect for winters and for dry skin too. One of the best toners currently in India. This toner balances the pH level of your skin and brings it to the normal 5.5

One of my most favourite product from this range. It comes in a very thick glass bottle with a cap and a pump dispensor. Again a mix of gel+cream consistency. It is very light and gets absorbed into the skin in a jiffy. I just need one pump and it hydrates and nourishes the skin. I can even skip a cream post using this, coz it hydrates wonderfully even in these winters. Skin feels soft and smooth instantly.
It is a ‘Green Science’ miracle. It comes with the breakthrough ‘Gineplex Youth Compund’ derived from potent natural ingredients and is clinically proven for accelerated lifting, firming and protective action on skin. Both the day and night creams come in a thick glass jar which is quite heavy. They have a separate cap between the lid and the product. It is light pink in color and light in texture. It does not make the skin greasy and hydrates the dry patches on the skin, without the heavy feeling. Both day and night creams have almost the same ingredients with some minor difference. Key being light liquid paraffin, glycerine, Vitamin E Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Apart from Gineplex) which are great for hydration and work on blemishes and scars.

The day cream has a gold base and purple lid and the night cream is vice-versa. I like how the packaging is different and it helps to identify the creams. Night cream is white in color and slightly richer in texture, though does not make the skin feel heavy, it takes 1-2 minutes to get absorbed completely and skin looks as if nothing is applied on it.
The eye cream comes in this sleek tube with a nozzle dispensor, be careful when dispensing coz way too much product comes out. You just need a tiny bit on your ring finger, blend both ring fingers and apply under the eye and massage very lightly for a few seconds. It is off white in colour and gel like in texture. It feels very cooling and tingling. Since I do not have wrinkles, I did not notice any much of a difference with this one. Not a love, but kinda ok.

It has a rotating cap packaging and is white gel like in texture with black vanilla beans extracts. The scrub is very mild and gentle, it is good for everyday or every alternate day too. It is not heavy duty scrubbing, so if you like those walnut particles scrubs, you will find this very mild. This will work for sensitive skin too. I would say it’s ok, scrubbing particles could have been a little more stronger.
Lotus Herbals YouthRx Anti – Ageing firming Face Masque

The masque has a flip cap and is a gel+creme texture again. It is not like those thick, cream based masques. It will come out clear and transparent on the skin. I keep it on for 10-12 minutes and then wash it off. It gives a tight feeling when it dries. I haven’t seen any reduction in pore skin but yes it does not dry out skin at all unlike other masques as claimed. And also skin feels firm and plump.
I have been using this entire range for a month now and I can see visible difference in my skin. Find below my selfies taken every week, while using this range.

I received this kit when I shifted to a new place and my skin was in the most horrible state ever. I had way too many break outs, spots, dryness and redness on the skin. Within a week, as you can see in the 2nd selfie, I noticed the difference. In fact, I felt the difference in 2-3 days and skin already felt smooth, soft, hydrated and more even with less redness and the dryness was all gone.

I again broke out last week coz of travelling, change in climate and water plus it was way too cold in Jaipur and I have not been drinking enough water in the winters, it directly shows on my skin. But what I like the most about this range is, the breakouts dry our immediately and the range starts working on the scars and they fade away quickly too.
The entire range smells fresh and amazing, I love the smell especially of serum and day/night creams. This is slightly on the expensive side but the quantity is amazing! I am using it twice everyday since a month and I have not even finished 10% of the toner and day/night creams. Serum is 30ml and using it twice, so might finish sooner and same with the foaming gel. Even exfoliator and face masque I use once a week, so would last long.
Though I cannot comment on wrinkles as I don’t have them, but skin definitely feels firm, plump, soft, smooth and hydrated. If you are nearing 30 and already feeling the dryness on the skin or are over 30, this range is definitely a must try! Gift this to your mom or MIL and they will definitely love it.
My most favourite products from this range are the foaming gel, toner and serum. I like the day and night cream too.

Whoa, that’s quite a mouthful! I have been using this day cream and eye cream from the L’Oreal Paris White Perfect Range from quite some time, day cream being on and off, read below to know why.

Both the day cream and eye cream come in this white and blue packaging, the day cream being a flat tube with a nozzle front and the eye cream being slim and round with a thin nozzle tip.
The day cream is white in color and thin and runny in texture, it spreads easily on the skin but it needs some blending as it leaves a whitish cast which looks too obvious if not blended well. The smell is not so pleasant too.
You definitely see visible brightness on the skin as soon as you apply it, but it not something permanent or that stays forever. If you read the ingredients in the image above, you see a lot of different silicones in it. Now my skin is not very sensitive and does not react easily to products but with this one, I broke out and got a lot of white heads, I had to stop using it for a few days. Then I started using it again and I broke out again 🙁 Now I have 2-3 acne scars to deal with. I am not really sure what particularly from the ingredients was triggering break outs. Coz I have used products with silicones before, maybe the combination of silicones or a particular silicone was doing it.
Till the time I used it, I can say that it does give the skin a brighter look and feel though not permanently. It is moisturising enough and there were no dry patches on the skin. I wouldn’t recommend it to sensitive skin though, for others, do give it a try if you want brighter, firmer looking skin but don’t expect permanent or long term results. You will notice a difference till the time you use it. Also, it has SPF19.
Coming to the eye cream, I love the convenient packaging and the nozzle only dispenses the required quantity. It is light yellow in color and slightly thick but easily blendable.
I target my under eye area at first, and then with some product left on the ring fingers I go over the entire eye lightly. I definitely noticed a difference in my under eye area from the time I am using it. The eye area is more moisturised, dark circles less visible and eye area is brighter. Caffeine also helps in reducing the under eye bags.
L- Eye cream, R- Day Cream
I love the eye cream and definitely recommend it, if you have dry skin and are anywhere in your late 20’s and early 30’s, it is time you start using an eye cream and invest in a good one. Even though this sounds expensive, 15g tube would last long as you need quite a tiny amount.
Overall, I would say the day cream did not work for me coz it broke me out but the eye cream is definitely worth a try!

To start with, I loved the packaging and the three layers. Very well protected, small and handy, travel friendly. All have Step No. written on them like these have 3,4 and 5 for Eye Cream, Serum and Moisturiser/Night Cream.
Since it was a 7 day challenge, I used it continuously for 7 days. Then again took a break for 2-3 days to see the changes in the skin, and then was using it again. Sometimes of late, I have been using 1-2 out of all and such and not following the entire regime since I have already tested.
My review would be based on using all the 5 products together for 7 days as a challenge, and I will also add some points for the product individually.
Starting with the Firming Eye Gel, its a clear transparent gel which needs to be applied delicately on the entire eye area up and down including the sides. You can feel the cooling effect and the firming too within a minute or two. Sometimes it burnt slightly, not sure if the skin was too dry or for what reason.
The Firming Eye Gel is followed by the Hydrating Eye Cream. Its a nice creamy formula and again lightly applied all over the eye.
Of the 2 products together, few things I would like to mention: Use very very little quantity like the minutest pump on your ring finger. Blend both the ring fingers and very lightly dab or massage the eye area. DO NOT take a pea sized amount of this! I did this mistake in the first 1-2 days. The product used was too much and whenever too much eye product is used, your eyes get a little swollen the next day like you get the under bags coz the product seeps in. Also it does not really require too much qty, the minutest is enough.
I would say one can skip the Firming Gel and go only for the Hydrating Cream. Even if you compare the formulation mentioned above, both have the same, in fact Hydrating Cream has extra and I really like the creamy Hydrating Cream.
One thing I noticed is, whenever I stopped using the eye creams, the inside corner of my upper eye became very very dry and that has never been so before! I am not really sure if the skin got used to the cream or the cream has that effect that it needs to be used continuously. If its the later, I am a little scared, coz I do not want my skin to get used to a particular thing forever.
Coming to the Line Minimizing Serum which is the next step after the eye creams. I used this twice in a day along with the eye creams. So these 3 products were fixed at both times, followed by a Daily Moisturizer or a Night Cream for AM/PM. I do not have wrinkles, so I did not see a major difference which I can talk about. Its a white colored light water based cream.But its very light in texture and got absorbed nicely. Skin did feel softer and smoother eventually.
The Daily Glow Moisturizer was white colored thick cream like in texture and the Replenishing Night Cream had similar texture but its light yellow in color. You need a tiny quantity of both here again. Since these are rich and heavy, even a tiny quantity is more than enough for moisturization. I never felt the need for any other moisturiser.
In fact, I am not a fan of layering products, so using 4 products at a time was a little heavy for my skin and it left a little sheen, for which I used to dab a tissue at the end. But never once did it broke me out or anything.
When you check the ingredients, you would find all nice and pure stuff good for the skin from Walnut Oil, Rosemary Oil to Olive Oil, Sunflower Oil and eye creams have Cucumber extracts.
When all 5 products used together, I would say, my skin never felt so moisturized and hydrated, which is amazing for the winters too. Skin is softer, smoother with less visible lines and pores and there is no redness with a very very even skin tone. In my previous OOTD, I mentioned about how I am loving my skin these days and I have those pictures with no makeup on but just this regime and a lipstick.
Also these days I step out without any ounce of makeup on most of the days, not even a tinted moisturizer coz I don’t even feel the need to. I think I got to try this range at the perfect moment as my skin is more than ready for the wedding now 😀 I would definitely recommend this for brides-to-be. Also since I took a break in between, I can tell your skin would still remain soft and plump and would not return to how it was, as with most creams. Only the eye cream I am not sure of, if my skin has got used to,or if its the weather.
But the issues are its only available via a representative and also its super expensive! I think the reps might be having a good deal on the entire kit though, not really sure, would check on that. (I saw the entire Herbalife combo on Snapdeal once for Rs.13,500/-) One may skip the Firming Eye gel though, and maybe the Line Minimizing Serum if it is not really required.

Currently I am testing new products, but I might switch back to these just before the wedding 😀
