March 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

So as it’s 1st of the month, I got my March Fab Bag today. I know all of you are always excited about the Fab Bag unboxing, so I try and do it as soon as possible.

The theme for this month is ‘Go Get It, Girl’

It’s a dusty purple/burgundy colored bag, they had given an option to choose the bag too this month, out of this March bag and two previous Fab Bags, I went with this as I already had those and wanted something new. I love the color and the criss cross textured pattern

Products I got:

  • Seduction Las Vegas Lipstick 06 Nude Love- (Full size) : Rs.180/-
  • Sugar Tip Tap Toe Nail Lacquer 003 Burn Your Beiges (Full size) : Rs.199/-
  • Kronokare Flower Powder Face Toner – 55ml
  • Moha Herbal Shower Gel- 30ml
  • Ayorma SPF 40 Sun Block- 10g
  • Natural Bath & Body Beautiful Day Body Mist- 50ml

Though there are 6 products this time, the Ayorma one is a small sample, but I am glad they didn’t include that and give only 5 products.

I had the option to choose the shade in the Seduction Lipstick out of 4 shades, and I went with this Nude Love. I love this pinky brown color, perfect for everyday wear. There were reds too in the options, if you would like that.

I have tried Moha Herbal products before and quite like them, looking forward to this shower gel. It smells very citrusy and refreshing, perfect for summers.

I am glad they included the new Sugar launch i.e. the nail paint in this month’s box. I wasn’t expecting it, though would have loved a color option in that. I would have preferred a brighter, fun summer color.

The Kronokare Face Toner looks the most interesting to me, I like the spray bottle, would be using it from today. Kronokare makes chemical free, natural products and some of them are pretty unique and nice. I have some high expectations from this toner.

The Ayorma Sun Block is SPF 40 and has a herbal smell, let’s see how this one works. But a pretty tiny sample though, 20-30g would have been nice.

And lastly, the Natural Body Mist. Absolutely love the smell of this! It’s floral and summery, a lily-jasmine like mix.

The total value of the products comes to around Rs.700-725

Overall I would say it’s an ok bag comparing the prices of the products as none of the products/samples are expensive. You can go for it if you would like to try these.

June 2016 The Beauty Addict Fab Bag Unboxing & Review

So I got my June Fab Bag today and here is my unboxing and review..

I absolutely love this month’s outer box, it is so cute! It’s a black canvas cloth pouch which has makeup print and reads ‘Eat Sleep Makeup Repeat’ which is the story of my life 😀 Definitely going to use this a lot.

The theme for this month is ‘The Beauty Addict’, let’s see the contents:

  • Skin Yoga Coffee Body Scrub – Full size (Rs.845)
  • Karite Buerre Pure Shea Butter- 20g (Rs.499/- for 50g)
  • Janseen ROC Serum- Full size (Rs.2000/- for 30ml)
  • Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow Crayon in Stonehenge- Full size (Rs.1200/-)

To start with the eyeshadow crayon, I had the option to select one makeup product this month and I chose this Stonehenge shade. I saw the swatches online and liked this frosty taupy shade. Unfortunately it’s not very pigmented and also is smudge proof, definitely needs a good eyeshadow on top or else won’t stay.

Karite Buerre Pure Shea Butter sounds amazing, I was in the lookout for shea butter and glad I got this. This 20g would last really long, it’s perfect to use for cuticles, on lips, on hand and feet or even ends of hair.

Skin Yoga makes fabulous stuff and I have tried a few before, got samples mostly in subscription boxes and bags, I am so glad this is full sized. If you read the recent post on our blog about cellulite, you must be knowing how coffee scrub is amazing for cellulite. Definitely looking forward to trying this.

And finally the ROC Anti Wrinkle Serum, I love the ingredients and the brand and product are amazing, but just not for me. I don’t have wrinkles yet and I would have liked if I would have got something suited for my skin and age. Not happy with this, but I will pass this to my mom and I hope she likes it.

Overall I am quite happy with the rest of the items and that there are three full sized products and one deluxe sample this time. Surely recommend this month’s Fab Bag and the total value of the products in this month’s bag is Rs. 4250.

I hope they continue with such products every month 😀

I love the concept of bags how they have a different customized bag each month according to the monthly theme. Also these bags are pretty useful and handy for travel,etc when you want to carry some basic makeup/skincare

Let’s have a look at the contents of my March Fab Bag:

  • Inveda BB Cream in Fair- Full size (Rs.140/- for 15ml)
  • SoultTree Kajal in Pure Black- A special 3g packaging (Rs.340/- for 5g)
  • Palladio Herbal Lipstick in Rosey Plum- Full size (Rs.650/-)
  • Sebastian Professional Hydre Shampoo- 50ml (Rs.1400/- for 250ml)
  • Fashionography Earrings

To start with the Inveda BB cream, its quiet nice and good for everyday use. Only issue being just 2 shades available: Fair and Matt

I have tried the SoulTree Kajal before, the Pure Black is much smoother than other colors which go on a little hard. Also its all natural and organic made from ghee and camphor, but if you are looking for something smudge free, this won’t help at all.

I loved a full sized lipstick in the bag, though I wish I would have got some other matte shade. This shade Rosey Plum has shimmer and I am not a fan of shimmer.

I like the Sebastian shampoo deluxe size and would be carrying it for my next travel.

Absolutely loved these cute butterfly blue earrings from Fashionography.

Overall, some hits and misses. Though more of hits for the price of Rs.599/-. I absolutely recommend giving Fab Bag a try.
