Hi guys,

I got the Dec 2017 Fab Bag today, it’s ‘Blend the Beauty Dec Fab Bag’ The bag is a textured metallic red bag, I believe for the holiday season.

Products I received:

  • Sugar Blend the Rules Quad in Disturbia -Rs. 599
  • Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak- Rs.200 for 100g
  • Bella Voste Nail Paint- Rs.249
  • Alanna Dessicated Coconut & Saffron Face & Body Scrub- Rs.340/- for 20g
  • Aroma Magic Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Cream- Rs.26 for 10g

I got a choice to pick one shade from the Sugar eyeshadow quads, I picked Disturbia as I have already reviewed and swatched 6 quads (see HERE) I didn’t have the blue one, so I picked this.

Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak and Bella Voste Nail Paint are full sized and I like both of them.

Aroma Magic cream is a good hand cream size for bag, I prefer 30ml/30g samples though, it’s too less. The Alanna scrub is too expensive for the price. The qty is good for few uses if used as a face scrub, for body it would only work for single use.

Total value pf the products come to around Rs.1500/- I am really happy with three full sized products and I highly recommend this month’s Fab Bag!

Nov 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

I got the Nov ‘The Hit List’ Fab Bag just now. It’s a holo bag this time! I am a holosexual (Simply Nailogical reference), so love it!

Products I received:

  • The Nature’s Co Mandarin Sugar Body Scrub (Rs.425/- for 50g)
  • Kronokare Bash the Gloss Moisturizing Face Cream (Rs.292/- for 15g)
  • Bella Voste Ulti-Matte Chubby Stick – Full size (Rs.499/-)
  • Fadlor Naturalich Exotic Herbal Infusion Shampoo (Rs.100/- for 30ml)
  • Aroma Treasures Lavender Face Wash (Rs.64/- for 30ml)

I had an option to pick one shade out of 4-5 options for the Bella Voste Chubby Stick, I chose the nude one which is 01 Rose Crush. I expected it to be a rosy brown but it is more of a peachy pink shade. It’s a perfect everyday shade but would work for fair to medium skin tones, as it has less brown.

I do like Kronokare products because they are all natural and free of all chemicals. They keep adding new products and this one sounds really interesting and perfect for oily skin. It’s a light weight face moisturizer for oily to combination skin.

Aroma Treasures does make some good products but I wish they had disclosed all ingredients and not just key ones. I love the lavender scent though, it’s my favourite.

The Nature’s Co Mandarin Sugar Body Scrub is meant for oily skin. It smells so good, it has a fresh and natural orange scent and is very refreshing. It would last 2-3 uses as it is meant for entire body.

And finally Fadlor Naturalich is a new brand, this herbal shampoo sounds decent and I might give it a try during my travel. I prefer carrying such 30ml bottles when I am travelling for a week or less.

Overall I do like the mix of brands and variety of products. Though there is just one full sized product and rest are deluxe sized samples. I am not sure of the Kronokare size, but I would have preferred two full sized products 🙂 This month’s bag is decent I would say.

Oct 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

I got the Oct Fab Bag today, ya pretty quick this time and delivery on a Sunday. I did a quick unboxing video too.

The theme for this month is ‘Steal the Limelight’. It’s a gold-copper textured glittery bag, the bag is really nice, I just wish it was little bigger.

  • Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick in 11 Greige Rage (Rs.499)

  • Kronokare City Detox Face Wash 30ml (Rs.150)
  • Yuana Premium Hair Oil 50ml (Rs.337)

I had an option to pick one Sugar product from all the Sugar products and shades including the new Creme Lipsticks and the Smudge Me not new 10 shades.

I liked 1-2 shades in particular from the new additions and picked Greige Rage. I quite like this shade and happy with my choice 🙂

Mond’Sub Gold Facial Mask looks interesting, I haven’t tried it yet and look forward to trying it out.

Rest two are deluxe sized samples, the Kronokare City Detox Face Wash is a repetition which I am not happy with. Yuana Hair Oil looks decent but it has mineral oil in ingredients which I am not too excited about.

The total value of the products in the bag comes to Rs.1236/-

Overall I would say it’s an ok bag. If you are looking to get a new Sugar product anyway, then you can go for it as you get your product plus three additional things. Otherwise you can skip this month’s bag.

September 2017 Anniversary Fab Bag Unboxing + Giveaway

I am unboxing the Sept 2017 Anniversary Fab Bag today, I just received it. I got the August one pretty late and hence couldn’t do a review.

It’s an off white pouch, I expected something unique for the 5th Anniversary edition.

The theme for this month is The Object of Desire.

Products I got:

  • Seasoul Moisture Matt Lipstick Lead Free in Neon Purple (Full size- Rs.530)
  • Sugar Tip Tac Toe Nail Lacquer in Deep Down Diopside (Full Size- Rs.299)
  • Iraa Insta Renew Multi Action Under Eye Cream (Full size 20g- Rs.490)
  • Tvakh Midas Touch Ultra Nourishing Lip TInt- (Full size- Rs.195)
  • Tvakh CE- Namom Lip Plumper (Full size- Rs.225)
  • Seer Secrets Smoky Rose Geranium Body Cleanser 30ml (Rs.72)

I love the metallic turquoise color of the Sugar Nail Paint. The eye cream also sounds good. I am not a fan of shimmery lip balms, so the Tvakh Lip Balm is not something I am very excited about but Tvakh has a lot of good skincare in general, so I might give it a try.

The rose geranium body wash from Seer Secrets smells really good!

Tvakh Lip Plumper does sound good, will definitely try it. Cinnamon does help make lips plump, plus it has argan oil.

For Seasoul lipsticks, I had an option of pick one shade out of 7-8 and I picked this neon purple. I was very tempted to pick the nude one but I have enough nudes and I am into bright shades and purples currently.

The total value of the products in this month’s bag comes to around Rs.1800-1850. I do like the fact that there are 5 full sized products and one deluxe sized sample. But I would liked a variety in brands. Perhaps instead of two lip balms/plumper, one could have been a full sized Neemli face mask/scrub.

Overall it is definitely value for money and if you like trying out new brands, you will like it.

July 2017 Fab Bag Review & Giveaway

I got my Fab Bag today, I know it was super quick this time. From the past few months, I was receiving it a day or two later than usual.

It’s a bright peach coloured bag, and has a wristlet band, perfect colour for monsoons.

The theme for this month is ‘The Colour Drama’

Products I got:

  • Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick Viola – Full size with sharpener: Rs.799/-
  • Kronokare Hydrate The Hair Shampoo: Rs.165 for 55ml
  • Just Herbs Herb Enriched Skin Tint: Rs.385/- for 15g
  • Tvakh Fruit Enzyme Alcohol Free Toner: Rs.160/- for 50ml

I have got Tvakh products before and I really like them. This toner is alcohol free and enzyme based, hence it will have a light all natural AHA/BHA exfoliation (coz of all the fruit enzymes). I am really looking forward to trying this out.

The Just Herbs tint does look good for daily use, it has a light coverage which evens out the skin tone. But it is quite expensive for the qty and it’s just 15g

Kronokare is again all parabens and chemicals free, a good travel size bottle.

Most excited for the Sugar Matte As Hell Lip Crayon, I had the option of picking one lipstick from all the 11 new Sugar lipstick launches i.e. the Matte As Hell Lip Crayon and the It’s A Pout Time Vivid Lipsticks. I have swatched all of them HERE and HERE.

Since I already had them, I picked the shade Viola for one of you, as most of you loved this shade! And it’s my favourite shade too.

Overall I would say if you anyway planning to get one of the new Sugar lipsticks, then at the price of Rs.599/-, you get the lipstick plus thee other things and the bag. Pretty good deal! I do recommend it.

June 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

I got the June Fab Bag right now, I haven’t been keeping well and wasn’t going to do a video. But I thought of quickly doing one since many of you like and wait for the unboxing video.

The theme for this month is the ‘Boho Chic’ bag and the bag looks like a jute one. It is quite simple but sturdy and nice for travel.

  • Johara Creme Rich Lip Colour Cocoa Delight- Full size -Rs.395
  • Sugar Twist & Shout Fadeproof Kajal Black Velvet- Full size- Rs.399
  • BioBloom Foot Cream- Rs.335/- for 50g
  • APS Cosmetofood Activated Organic Spring Water- Rs.270/- for 50ml

I got 4 products in total, 2 full sized and 2 deluxe sized samples, the foot cream almost feels full sized but it’s not mentioned on the card.

Organic Spring Water is like Micellar water meant to cleanse and remove your makeup. I like the fact that it has a spray and cap and is perfect for travel.

The lipstick and kajal also look good, BioBloom products are all natural and chemical free, so looking forward to trying all the things.

The total value of the products in this month’s bag comes to around Rs.1500/- and I do recommend the June 2017 Fab Bag.

It’s a pretty floral print bag and quite thick and sturdy. Goes perfect with the Spring Theme

Sugar’s new launch, the Compact Powder is a part of this month’s bag and you get the full sized compact. It comes in 3 shades and I chose the mid shade 02 Cappuccino. I like the matte black packaging, it’s quite sturdy. It comes with a sponge and a mirror.

Ayorma Exfoliating Scrub looks a little abrasive, I won’t use it for my face. But if you use walnut based scrubs, you will like it.

I loved the Hedonista Fresh Face Scrub with Strawberry and Coconut extracts. Smells refreshing and nice, this one is mild enough to be used on the face.

Sand for Soapaholics soap looks really pretty and again coconut based. Spring theme has all coconut based products, so apt.

Total value of all the products in this month’s bag comes to around Rs.1300/- I would have liked one more product in the bag ideally.

March 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

So as it’s 1st of the month, I got my March Fab Bag today. I know all of you are always excited about the Fab Bag unboxing, so I try and do it as soon as possible.

The theme for this month is ‘Go Get It, Girl’

It’s a dusty purple/burgundy colored bag, they had given an option to choose the bag too this month, out of this March bag and two previous Fab Bags, I went with this as I already had those and wanted something new. I love the color and the criss cross textured pattern

Products I got:

  • Seduction Las Vegas Lipstick 06 Nude Love- (Full size) : Rs.180/-
  • Sugar Tip Tap Toe Nail Lacquer 003 Burn Your Beiges (Full size) : Rs.199/-
  • Kronokare Flower Powder Face Toner – 55ml
  • Moha Herbal Shower Gel- 30ml
  • Ayorma SPF 40 Sun Block- 10g
  • Natural Bath & Body Beautiful Day Body Mist- 50ml

Though there are 6 products this time, the Ayorma one is a small sample, but I am glad they didn’t include that and give only 5 products.

I had the option to choose the shade in the Seduction Lipstick out of 4 shades, and I went with this Nude Love. I love this pinky brown color, perfect for everyday wear. There were reds too in the options, if you would like that.

I have tried Moha Herbal products before and quite like them, looking forward to this shower gel. It smells very citrusy and refreshing, perfect for summers.

I am glad they included the new Sugar launch i.e. the nail paint in this month’s box. I wasn’t expecting it, though would have loved a color option in that. I would have preferred a brighter, fun summer color.

The Kronokare Face Toner looks the most interesting to me, I like the spray bottle, would be using it from today. Kronokare makes chemical free, natural products and some of them are pretty unique and nice. I have some high expectations from this toner.

The Ayorma Sun Block is SPF 40 and has a herbal smell, let’s see how this one works. But a pretty tiny sample though, 20-30g would have been nice.

And lastly, the Natural Body Mist. Absolutely love the smell of this! It’s floral and summery, a lily-jasmine like mix.

The total value of the products comes to around Rs.700-725

Overall I would say it’s an ok bag comparing the prices of the products as none of the products/samples are expensive. You can go for it if you would like to try these.

Feb 2017 Fab Bag Unboxing & Review

I got my Feb Pucker Up Fab Bag today and quickly unboxed it.

I love the lipgloss and lip print on the bag for the ‘Pucker Up’ thing, it is absolutely perfect. And even the bag is quite nice for travel.

Products I got:

  • Sugar Liquid Lipstick Smudge Me Not in Suave Mauve- Full size (Rs.499)
  • Matra Holistic Lip Care in Kiwi- Full size (Rs.199)
  • Just Herbs Lively Clean Honey Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Gel- 50ml (Rs.230)
  • Batiste Dry Shampoo Floral & Flirty Blush in Cherry- Full size 50ml (Rs.299)

I had an option to pick one shade from the Sugar Liquid Lipstick and since I already had 4, I went with Suave Mauve which I didn’t have. Check the review and swatches of all 4 HERE

It’s a very pretty dusty nude mauve, great for fair to medium skin tones.

I love the Matra Lip Balm, it smells really refreshing and the ingredients has lot of good essential and base oils.

I have tried Just Herbs Honey Face Wash and Batiste Dry Shampoo before, like both. Glad I have it in mini sizes now, for travel.

Overall, the total price of the products in this month’s bag is Rs.1230/-. I wouldn’t say it’s a must buy but if you wanted to try Sugar Liquid Lipstick anyway, then you get 3 additional products plus the bag for just Rs.100/- extra, so that’s a good deal.

What did you get in your Feb Fab Bag?
