Dec 2018 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

I got the Dec 2018 Fab Bag today and it’s all Christmasy and holiday-y 😀 With the red and fur, the bag is quite cute. It’s called ‘The Merry Indulgence’ Dec Fab Bag.

I had an option to pick one lipstick shade from Disguise Cosmetics which is a 100% vegan and cruelty free brand and is toxin free, made with marula and avocado oil.

They had all basic shades from nude, red, pink, peach, etc. I went with the red one, it is definitely very creamy and is a little task to apply. I am so used to my matte lipsticks now. Creamy red lipsticks always transfer on my teeth and everywhere around, so I just avoid.

It is very pigmented though and once blotted, stays put through the day and is very comfortable on the lips. The stain stays even after lipstick wears off. The packaging is also quite nice, sturdy and bright.

I am also excited to try the Spa Ceylon Hand Cream, Global Beauty Secrets Turkish  Day Cream and the Bliscent Hair Pack. I am loving all the products and brands this time in Fab Bag.

Total value comes to around Rs.1500/-

These are perfect size for travel and very handy. These are quite pigmented and semi matte, not bad at all quality wise and I love that there are 10 shades in total!

Also the hair elixir is something I am looking forward to try, as it has onion extracts too which is amazing for hair growth. Handmade soap of course, is great for everyday use.

I had an option to pick one shade out of all the MyGlamm Perfect Curves Lip Crayon. I have the shade Debutante and I love it. I love the formula, shade everything. I picked 01 Biscotti which is a perfect peachy brown with a hint of pink. An everyday wear nude shade.

I am pretty excited to try the Hip Hop Nose Strip, I love using nose strips once a month or so. Other products look hit and miss, not happy about all the brands this time.

It’s an ok bag, not a must have. I would suggest getting it for the MyGlamm Lip crayon if you anyway planning to try it.

I just got the June Fab Bag today and theme for this month is ‘The All She Needs‘ bag.

I love the summery peach and blue colour, the quality of the bag is also pretty good.

May 2018 Fab Bag Unboxing

I just got the May 2018 Fab Bag and did a quick unboxing. The theme for this month is ‘The Beauty Project’ and it’s a perfect summer bag. I love the colour and doodling on it, I wish it was a little thicker and sturdier though. It’s slightly thin and transparent.

  • Tjori Night Skin Repair Elixir- Rs.995/-

Again I had an option to pick one lipstick shade from NELF USA and I chose Pink Spice. I absolutely love this shade, it’s a perfect neutral and the formula is velvet matte, not sheer or glossy or too creamy. I love the formula and shade, it reminds me of the Maybelline Inti-Matte Nude in Almond Pink which is another favourite of mine.

The blue eyeliner was a surprise as I wasn’t expecting two makeup products, it’s pigmented and very pretty. Perfect shade for summer.

Sun Block sample is ideal for travel and I am going to travel soon, so would carry that definitely. Fem De-Tan bleach is a one time use pack and again good for someone like me who doesn’t bleach usually and might try once in a while.

The coffee 2 in 1 scrub & mask and the Tjori Night Skin Repair Elixir look interesting and I am looking forward to trying that.

Total value of the products = Rs.2435/-

I was pretty disappointed with last month’s Fab Bag but absolutely love this month’s bag. All the products are pretty good and useful this time, and mostly full sized. Loved the lipstick shade I chose and the blue eyeliner is very pretty and pigmented, perfect for summers.

April 2018 Fab Bag Unboxing

I just got the April Spring Kissed Fab Bag. I love the colour and print, it’s perfect for spring summer.

Manna Kadar was an option I got to pick, one makeup product out of the few. All were lipsticks I believe. Merlot is a beautiful colour, here is a swatch.

The qty is 2.5g and it’s retractable, I would say a semi matte finish. Though the price mentioned here is too high!

The lip scrub smells refreshing and I would definitely be using that. The aloe vera gel is also perfect for summers.

Overall I would say get this bag only if you would want to try these products or else skip. I would have preferred one more product, at least 5 in the bag.

March 2018 Fab Bag Unboxing

I got the March Fab Bag today, I didn’t do a detailed video because I am unwell. My nose and eyes are watering continously, I did a quick unboxing video but it is getting stuck on Youtube. I reuploaded, cross checked, it works fine in private mode too, as soon as I made it public, even the 2nd upload is getting stuck. I am sorry, I have no idea what’s wrong :/

Anyway, I will just show you the products here..

The theme is the ‘Game Changer’ March Fab Bag

  • Nelf USA Eyeliner in Coco- Rs.150

I love the cocoa brown eyeliner color, but the swatch just wiped off my hand completely, without any color or pigment behind. It doesn’t set or stay put at all!

I only liked the Sugar product in this month’s bag, I picked the Tweed Taupe shade, there were options to pick one product from multiple Sugar makeup products. I had 9 shades in the 2nd batch of Suede Secret which I am giving away HERE.

So, this shade was missing and now we have all 10, 5 each for one winner.

Overall, the bag is ok. Not that good, only good part is Sugar product of your choice. Honestly I don’t think there is anything game changing in this month’s bag, wish Fab Bag brings good products like it used to earlier. With new subscription boxes coming in almost daily, it’s tough competition out there at the same price.

Feb 2018 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

I got the Feb 2018 Fab Bag today, the theme is the xoxo Feb Fab Bag. It’s a white bag with pink hearts, it’s quite cute and very spacious.

  • Major Crush by Ayushi Matte Nail Lacquer- Rs.199
  • Purple Essentionatural Bath Salt- Rs.450
  • Purple Essentionatural Milk Honey Body Wash- Rs.594
  • Tvakh White Tea Rose Exfoliating Scrub- Rs.172
  • Acne’s Face Wash- Rs.5 x 2

I like the fact that there are 5 full sized products this time. I love milk and honey based body washes and bath salts of of course are very relaxing, so looking forward to try both the products from Purple Essentionaturals.

Tvakh Scrub also looks interesting, it has a rose scent and jelly like texture with walnut shell powder.

Major Crush nail paint looks exactly like Nykaa Matte Nail Paint, also the shade is exactly like one of my favourite shades from Nykaa Matte Range.

NELF USA HD Foundation sounds interesting, they have 2-3 different types of foundations, I couldn’t find review or swatches of this particular one anywhere. I had an option to pick from NELF Primer and 3 shades of foundations. The shades aren’t enough to cover all skin tones. I will update you guys on how I like this.

Overall the value of all the products in this month’ bag comes to around Rs.2200/- 

I love the variety of products and the number of full sized products, I definitely recommend this month’ Fab Bag.

Happy New Year! Hope you all have an amazing 2018. I got the Jan 2018 Fab Bag today, on the first day of the year.

It’s a ‘The Beauty Blowout‘ bag, I love the bronze bag, it’s quite spacious and nice.

I had an option to pick a combination of two makeup products this month, from varied choices. It was the Sugar Mini blush/contour/highlighter paired with either Sugar Viola Crayon sample or a full sized Bella Voste Crayon. Now I wanted to give them away to one of you and I already had all Sugar launches, so I picked the full sized Bella Voste crayon along with Sugar highlighter for one of you.

I love the shade ‘Rose Crush’ of the Bella Voste Matte Crayon, it’s a pretty rosy pink, perfect for everyday.

Champagne Champion highlighter by Sugar is also very pretty and subtle enough for daily and day time use.

I love the refreshing orange scent of the soap and the lemongrass face wash.

The face wash and Veet wax strips are perfect for travel. Veet wax strips are always handy.

The total value of all the products in this month’s bag comes to Rs.1200/- I do recommend the bag if you get a choice to pick two makeup products. You can recover the cost of the bag in those two, the other things being bonus.
