Faces Ultime Pro Matte Play Eyeliner Black/Blue Review, Swatches

Today I am reviewing my current favourite eyeliners! The new Faces Ultime Pro Matte Play Eyeliners.
Claims:FACESUltime Pro Matte Play eyeliner has a super long wear with a stay of 17 hours or more, and is quick drying and no transfer eyeliner. Be bold this summer, as the waterproof and sweat proof formula makes you even enjoy the water adventures with ease. The eyeliner, with its easy application, glides lightly over the eyelid, creating precise lines and flawless look. It’s high coverage delivers the deepest pigmented line and impeccable hold. Besides, it is dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested and approved.

They comes in a sleek, regular eyeliner packaging. I absolutely love the felt tip brush. I only use pen eyeliners because I like the grip and stiffness of them. A soft brush just goes everywhere for a person like me who has shaky hands. And very few liquid eyeliners have felt tip brush, I am so glad this one does!
First of all, the pigmentation is amazing. It’s not watery unlike a few liners which require layers and going over 2-3 times for the eyeliner to show. This shows up in one stroke.
I love the matte look in eyeliners and these dry completely matte. They do not take forever to dry and do not transfer on upper lid, etc.,
These liners have everything I need and look for in eyeliners.
Only con would be they are pricey and not waterproof. I agree they are expensive, but I feel they would last long. These are smudge proof but not water proof, and hence also easy to remove.
The blue one is my favourite, it’s a bright cobalt blue shade and shows up well on the eyes without layering, as mentioned.
I wish they come up with more shades and even metallic colours in the future 🙂 In the exact same packaging and brush though, I love that!
I highly recommend these, my current favourite and maybe Holy Grail soon 😀
Faces Cosmetics Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder Review, Swatches

I have been using the new Faces Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder since quite some time now, they have revamped the packaging and now it comes in this all new, fancy black and silver packaging.
What the Company claims: FACES Mineral Loose Powder is an innovative non-comedogenic formulation which offers protection from harmful UV radiation and imparts a silky, irresistible touch to facial skin. It does not clog pores and is hypoallergenic. It comes with a unique, spill-proof, easy-to-use applicator. Suitable for light to medium coverage on all skin types.
To start with the packaging, I absolutely love this new packaging. It does not spill off extra powder as only the required quantity comes off the sieve. And the sponge picks up the product well, which you can directly dab on the face, wherever required.
I have the shades 02 Ivory Beige and 03 Sand Beige. Now 03 Sand Beige is a good match for me which is the mid shade, Ivory Shade is a little lighter which makes it perfect to set the under eye concealer and for baking under the eyes and below the contour.
The sieve comes covered with a thick white paper which is supposed to be peeled off and later you can directly cover it with a sponge or keep the paper if you don’t want the powder to be on the sponge, when not using.
The powder is extremely soft and silky and very finely milled. I love the smooth finish and texture, and it glides on well on the skin. It keeps the skin matte for a good few hours and would also prevent your under eye concealer from creasing and settling into the fine lines.
This powder has some coverage, but it would be a little less than the normal compact powder, so don’t expect too much coverage from this. This is basically a setting powder which you have to use to keep your base makeup in place and not melt or transfer or slide off.

I also like the fact that there are 5 shades available. It is a little on the expensive side but the quantity is quite good. Faces India is also a cruelty free brand and doesn’t test on animals, if you use only cruelty free brands.
Overall I would say, I definitely like it and recommend it, but as a loose setting powder, this won’t and cannot replace your compact powder, especially if you are looking for coverage. However if you use your compact powder as setting powder, you can try this. I am sure you will like it.

Hello everyone, I am back with another Top 10 list from a very well-known brand in recent times. Even if you would have asked me 2 years back to do a Top 10 with FACES Canada, I would have found it really difficult. Now, the scenario is totally changed and they have plethora of products to choose from. Over these years, they have really upgraded the quality of products and they are quite reasonable too. I have also noticed that the availability is good and easily accessible from online stores too. There are some of the products from FACES Canada that have become my HG ones.
So, here’s my list of Top 10 products that surely deserves to be included in your list of makeup. Let’s have a look at it.
1. FACES Ultime Pro Metaliglow – (799 INR) Review & Swatches HERE
Starting with this amazing and gorgeous highlighter that I literally use it every time when I am stepping out of the house. It comes in three shades – Opal (fair skin tones), Champagne (fair to medium skin tones) and Topaz (dusky skin tones). It has a gel-like texture that blends into the skin without much effort but you have to do it quickly because it has the tendency to settle down sooner than you can imagine. You can also mix with any foundation to get that luminosity and its looks totally natural. Bhumika has reviewed the shades Opal and Champagne and this one is a highly recommended from her side as well.
2. FACES Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayons – (799 INR) Review & Swatches HERE (BUY HERE for 675)
Chubby lip crayons are new trend and every brand has their own versions. FACES Canada, too, brought forward their versions and the quality is impeccable. It is available in 10 shades for now and the shades Peach Me, Midnight Rose and Sugar Coated has already been reviewed in detail on NLM, so surely check it out. The texture is soft and creamy which glides like a dream and settles down with a matte formula. The shade Midnight Rose is a must have from their collection.
One of the best, creamiest and long wearing kajal in the Indian market today. It comes in a retractable red plastic body and looks very chic and pretty. The texture is soft and creamy and glides on the eyes without tugging or pulling at all. The formula is water proof and smudge proof with a staying power of around 6-7hours easily. The pigmentation is great and makes the product really stand out. It gives a jet black color when applied on the water line as well. Overall, the price makes it great for a daily wear kajal.
4. FACES Canada Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder – (699 INR) (BUY HERE)
With an innovative non-comedogenic formulation which offers protection from harmful UV radiation, the FACES Canada Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder comes in a very unique and convenient packaging with a sponge attached to the lid. The powder gives a soft blurry effect to the pores and smoothens out the skin tone with its light to medium coverage. The finish is matte but doesn’t clings on to dry patches. The powders are mostly neutral tones and thus doesn’t makes you look whitish or chalky. The oil control is around 4hours and after that you might need touch ups.

The texture is soft and creamy and hence you can easily create smoky eyes with it. It gives a matte finish after setting down within 5-10mins and has a water proof and smudge proof formula. Free of preservatives, dermatologically and ophthalmologically approved, the eye pencil are great for water line too. The shade Black and Navy Blue are the raved ones in the collection.
7. FACES Ultime Pro Velvet Matte Lipstick – (649 INR)
FACES Ultime Pro Velvet Matte Lipstick claims to be an exclusive lipstick with an unbeatable gliding quality and unique satin finish. It comes with a sleek matte black packaging with twist up function. The texture is truly creamy and glides like anything on the lips. The color coded packaging is extremely good and the eye shadows are pretty long wearing. The texture is smooth and creamy which makes it perfect to blend and layer as much as you want. The pigmentation is also great and application is so easy that a beginner can also use these.
9. FACES Prime Perfect Foundation – (699 INR)
The foundation is considered one of the best foundations for the oily to combination skin for the summers. It comes in 5 shades although dusky complexions might not find a good match. It is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid that delivers deep hydration & keeps skin nourished with sun protection and anti-ageing formula. The texture is creamy but it sets very quickly hence needs to be blended fast. The coverage is medium to buildable but gives a great finish of satin matte to the skin. For the price, I would say that this is a great foundation for daily wear with a wear time of 5-6hours.
10. FACES Sparkle Dust Stackable – (899 INR) Review & Swatches HERE (BUY HERE for 722)
The Sparkle Dust Stackable are stack of 6 color sparkles comes in 4 different family of shades. These are fine milled glitters with powdery texture and Bhumika has already shown in her review that these can be used as eyeshadow, eyeliner, glitter nail paint, highlighters, blushes, etc. So have your fun and experiment with these amazing glitters for a very reasonable price.
Editor’s Note: I absolutely love some of the Faces Products, and they keep launching something new. Currently they are revamping all the old stuff into new packaging and formula. The Faces Eye Pencils are the best, have been using them since they were priced at 249, they have increased the prices a lot now! Also would like to add their skincare range, new Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayons and their Moisture Rich Lipsticks. Even their blushes are quite good.

What the Company claims: Faces Metaliglow is a gel based illuminator that glides easily, brightens the complexion and adds instant luminosity. Ultrafine light-reflecting pearls melts into the skin for a polished, natural-looking radiance. It has high percentage of thin pearls to deliver a precious, homogeneous glow. Its aqua based formula leaves a cooling effect on your face. It is dermatologically tested and paraben free.

It comes in this sleek packaging with a black cap and a silver pump dispensor. The pump dispensor is anyday better than the previous packaging which required you to physically remove the product and must have led to a lot of wastage and messiness.
The shade Opal has a silver sheen and is the lightest, would work well for lighter skin tones.
The shade Champagne has a golden champagne sheen and is the mid shade, this would work for all skin tones, especially Indian warm skin tones.
The shade Topaz has a rose gold sheen and is the darkest, would work for medium to dusky skin tones.
I have the shades Opal and Champagne with me today. Talking about the texture, these are quite runny and feel gel like in texture, but are super light and blend easily. But once set, it doesn’t budge, so blend quickly and don’t let it dry. The swatches on my hand were quite difficult to remove.
It gives the softest glow ever, you cannot go overboard with this, as the shimmer is ultra-fine and not even much visible, just giving a beautiful highlight to your face. It never looks heavy or stark. This is the perfect highlighter even for day time.
It stays almost throughout the day, I have worn it for about 8-9 hours and it lasted well.
You can either mix it with your foundation or directly apply it over the foundation on the highest points of your cheeks or do both. See the complete strobing step by step tutorial HERE. You can even layer this with a powder highlighter for more hold and glow.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this, coz the quantity is pretty good for the price, and there are very few good highlighters available in India especially liquid. This is one of the best in the market currently and the shade Champagne would be universally flattering and work for everyone.

I had some earlier lipstick collection. But they all had been quite boring for me. So, decided to dump my earlier lipstick stash and buy some new recent launches. I divided my current lipstick collection in 2-3 broad categories – nudes, everyday pinks, hot pinks and everyday reds. And with this intention in my mind I went for shopping. I had no plans of purchasing anything from faces but while I was passing through the faces store, I saw their recent launches. Any I thought why not update my lipstick collection with some recent launches. And thus, I jumped to the store. The SA was well informed and gave me time to try all the lipsticks which ever I liked. And finally I bought this new beauty.
So, here comes Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon – Peach me 08 for all you beauties. Read along to know if the product is worth purchase or not.
Price : Rs. 799 for 2.8 grams
Shelf life : 36 months from the date of packaging
Directions to use: Scrub your lips with either baby brush or sugar crumbs. Now, apply a lip balm underneath. Take the lip crayon and sharpen it to get the perfect crayon tip. Re-apply to get that perfect opaque finish.

My experience with Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon – Peach me 08
This lip crayon from the house of faces comes in very attractive packaging. It is a thick crayon with product name, shade and other details mentioned on the crayon itself. The body of the crayon is in the shade of the lipstick. The cap is transparent so that you can see the tip of the crayon. It comes with a sharpener which can be used to sharpen the lipstick.
This lip crayon from faces comes in the pro matte range. The shade is peach me 08 which is perfect everyday peach. It is perfect for office wear as well as day outings. It will suit a number of skin tones and can serve as an MLBB shade for many girls. The lip crayon is matte but even then it is moisturizing. It does not settle into lip lines even after many hours of application. It stays evenly on lips. It easily survives lighter meals but fades away with heavier meals. It can stay with lighter meals and drinks. Anyways the shade lasts easily for 6-8 hours. The crayon is thick and it needs to be sharpened with daily usage. Now, this is the bad part. At least you need to sharp the product on every alternate day. I feel it’s too much of product wastage. Pigmentation wise the shade is pretty fine. Single swipe gives good amount of colour. But anyways you can re-apply the colour to build up the finish.
Conclusion – I am loving this shade and range both. This has become my everyday colour to office. Looking forward to trying more colours from this range.

It comes in 2 formulations i.e. Matte & Starry Matte, Matte is your normal matte crayon & Starry Matte has some shimmer. Today I am reviewing the shades Sugar Coated in Starry Matte & Midnight Rose in Matte.
It has the same packaging as the eyeshadow crayons. The crayons are colored according to their shades and have a transparent cap, they need to be sharpened.
The packaging is convenient and nice, but would have been better if these would have been retractable coz you will need to carry a sharpener everywhere along.
The texture is super creamy, they glide on like butter and are very pigmented too. You just two swipes for complete, opaque coverage on lips.
L-R: Sugar Coated, Midnight Kiss
These are not transfer proof and transfer a lot on cups, glasses, etc. Also they do not survive meals and fade off from the centre. They stay for around 4-5 hours if you do not eat or drink. They will need to be reapplied after a complete meal and will stay for 2-3 hours with drinking or light snacks.
I would have like a better staying power though and also it not getting transferred on everything every time.
L-R: Sugar Coated, Midnight Kiss
The shade ‘Sugar Coated’ is a bright neon peach with some fine gold shimmer. It goes a little patchy on the lips and accentuates dry patches.
The shade ‘Midnight Rose’ is a beautiful burgundy red, it goes super smooth and looks amazing. This shade would work on all skin tones and is also the most loved shade in this range.
Overall, I would say I like the Matte range more than Starry Matte, I am not a fan of shimmer, not sure if it is only this particular shade which looks a little patchy or all Starry Matte ones. These are again manufactured by Schwan Stabilo and are priced almost the same as other lip crayons in the market. Only issue is transferring and staying power.
I would recommend checking out the Matte Lip Crayons, especially the shade Midnight Rose.

How to use product: Apply the shadow directly with the pencil tip onto the eye lid. Smudge the color quickly on the eye lids. Can also be used as a liner for most crease proof, stay on color

I am reviewing the shade ‘Staying Alive’ which is a gorgeous deep blackened purple shade with very fine blue shimmer. It comes in sharpenable crayon form. Both the eyeshadow and lip crayons have the same packaging with the transparent cap. I like the fact that the crayons are colored as per the shades making it easy to identify the shade. It doesn’t come with a sharpener and you need to either buy or have one of your sharpener for the thick eye crayons.
The texture is super creamy and these are very pigmented, you just need one swipe over your eyes and smudge it softly with a blending brush for the perfect 2 minute smokey eyes.
The shades Dancing Queen, Shes Got D Looks & Staying Alive are perfect for smokey eyes, either keep it soft for daytime smokey eyes by just lining thickly & smudging it with a pencil brush or go all out for night time smokey eyes by covering the lid and blending towards the crease softly with a blending brush.
It needs 1-2 minutes to set and complete your blending by then, once set, it stays put for quite a few hours. I won’t say it is completely smudge free, if you smudge your eyes a lot, it will spread a bit. But when undisturbed and eye has a primer base, it stays for a good 7-8 hours with very light fading.
The qty is half as that of lip crayons but then the qty you use for a lip product on every use is a lot more. This would stay a long time, though I don’t like the fact that a lot of product goes waste in sharpening and I prefer retractable option.
It is manufactured by Schwan Stabilo Cosmetics in Germany who make the best eye and lip products and most of the brands here get their products manufactured there.
Overall, I really like this and these are quite value for money, easy to use, convenient, travel friendly and economical. Highly recommend this. I would love if it was available in more colors though, Faces should launch more options in this.

Ingredients:
I am reviewing the shades Fuchsia Sparkler and Grape Martini today. It comes in a normal transparent round gloss packaging with a doe foot applicator.
Its like a liquid lipstick in texture. Super pigmented and rich, you need just one-two swipes for complete opaque color. It gives a glossy look which goes away after some time and the color stays on for 2-3 hours after which it fades away evenly. Its hydrating and does not require separate lip balm, non sticky and feels very light on the lips.
Fuchsia Sparkler is a bright fuchsia pink.
Grape Martini is a gorgeous grape color. (nothing like this in my stash) Unique and pretty.
So the pinks,reds and nudes might be common shades, I definitely suggest getting this for Grape Martini. I haven’t seen Hawaian Orange but that sounds good too.
Top- Fuchsia Sparkler, Bottom- Grape Martini
These are travel friendly too. Also the quantity is superb, though the price is slightly higher. I wish all brands came up with half quantity and price and mini versions, so that we can try to finish the products too,which usually never happens!

Overall, I love the shade Grape Martini. I like the pigmentation and ease of use of these Lip Cremes. These are indeed like rich,creamy liquid lipsticks. Though the staying power is normal, you can reapply them anywhere with ease. Definitely recommend!

By now, all of you must be knowing about these super gorgeous bright neon matte nail enamels launched by Faces.

They come in normal Faces Nail Enamels packaging..the brush is awesome..no streaking or spreading out..dries quickly..and it stays and stays !
This shade is wrongly named as Bubblepop..as you can see Bubblepop is a bubblegum pink and Ibiza is a bright coral..
This shade is brighter then Ibiza..a mix of orangey coral and pink..I was thinking it might not be as bright as Fire Stick..but then there are no other shades left out of the 5 neon shades launched..
Goes opaque in 2-3 coats and stays for a long time..more than a week.
The brush is super easy to use and gives a nice, smooth streak free finish. It dries super quick..no hassles of waiting..its TOLUENE & DBP, Camphor and Formaldéhyde free.
Perfect quality and good enough quantity..justified price..I have all 3 brights..Ibiza, Bubblepop and this..
