Faces Ultime Pro Matte Play Eyeliner Black/Blue Review, Swatches

Today I am reviewing my current favourite eyeliners! The new Faces Ultime Pro Matte Play Eyeliners.

Claims: FACES Ultime Pro Matte Play eyeliner has a super long wear with a stay of 17 hours or more, and is quick drying and no transfer eyeliner. Be bold this summer, as the waterproof and sweat proof formula makes you even enjoy the water adventures with ease. The eyeliner, with its easy application, glides lightly over the eyelid, creating precise lines and flawless look. It’s high coverage delivers the deepest pigmented line and impeccable hold. Besides, it is dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested and approved.

MRP: Rs.649/- for black and Rs.699/- for blue

They comes in a sleek, regular eyeliner packaging. I absolutely love the felt tip brush. I only use pen eyeliners because I like the grip and stiffness of them. A soft brush just goes everywhere for a person like me who has shaky hands. And very few liquid eyeliners have felt tip brush, I am so glad this one does!

First of all, the pigmentation is amazing. It’s not watery unlike a few liners which require layers and going over 2-3 times for the eyeliner to show. This shows up in one stroke.

I love the matte look in eyeliners and these dry completely matte. They do not take forever to dry and do not transfer on upper lid, etc.,

These liners have everything I need and look for in eyeliners.

Only con would be they are pricey and not waterproof. I agree they are expensive, but I feel they would last long. These are smudge proof but not water proof, and hence also easy to remove.

The blue one is my favourite, it’s a bright cobalt blue shade and shows up well on the eyes without layering, as mentioned.

I wish they come up with more shades and even metallic colours in the future 🙂 In the exact same packaging and brush though, I love that!

I highly recommend these, my current favourite and maybe Holy Grail soon 😀

I had some earlier lipstick collection. But they all had been quite boring for me. So, decided to dump my earlier lipstick stash and buy some new recent launches. I divided my current lipstick collection in 2-3 broad categories – nudes, everyday pinks, hot pinks and everyday reds. And with this intention in my mind I went for shopping. I had no plans of purchasing anything from faces but while I was passing through the faces store, I saw their recent launches. Any I thought why not update my lipstick collection with some recent launches. And thus, I jumped to the store. The SA was well informed and gave me time to try all the lipsticks which ever I liked. And finally I bought this new beauty.

So, here comes Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon – Peach me 08 for all you beauties. Read along to know if the product is worth purchase or not.

Price : Rs. 799 for 2.8 grams

Shelf life : 36 months from the date of packaging

Directions to use: Scrub your lips with either baby brush or sugar crumbs. Now, apply a lip balm underneath. Take the lip crayon and sharpen it to get the perfect crayon tip. Re-apply to get that perfect opaque finish.

Colour: Muted peachy pink

What Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon – Peach me 08 claims: A collection of lip crayons featuring timeless matte shades with superior color pigment & hydration.

From beautiful nudes to striking reds to shades of pinks and corals there’s a shade for everyone. Dresses up lips in statement shades in matte finish with rich, color-bright pigments, while being super comfortable on lips. Four super hot matte shades with light shimmer inspired from the backstage makeup.

My experience with Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon – Peach me 08

This lip crayon from the house of faces comes in very attractive packaging. It is a thick crayon with product name, shade and other details mentioned on the crayon itself. The body of the crayon is in the shade of the lipstick. The cap is transparent so that you can see the tip of the crayon. It comes with a sharpener which can be used to sharpen the lipstick.

This lip crayon from faces comes in the pro matte range. The shade is peach me 08 which is perfect everyday peach. It is perfect for office wear as well as day outings. It will suit a number of skin tones and can serve as an MLBB shade for many girls. The lip crayon is matte but even then it is moisturizing. It does not settle into lip lines even after many hours of application. It stays evenly on lips. It easily survives lighter meals but fades away with heavier meals. It can stay with lighter meals and drinks. Anyways the shade lasts easily for 6-8 hours. The crayon is thick and it needs to be sharpened with daily usage. Now, this is the bad part. At least you need to sharp the product on every alternate day. I feel it’s too much of product wastage. Pigmentation wise the shade is pretty fine. Single swipe gives good amount of colour. But anyways you can re-apply the colour to build up the finish.

Conclusion – I am loving this shade and range both. This has become my everyday colour to office. Looking forward to trying more colours from this range.

It picks up the right quantity of the product.

Ingredients:

I am reviewing the shades Fuchsia Sparkler and Grape Martini today. It comes in a normal transparent round gloss packaging with a doe foot applicator.

Its like a liquid lipstick in texture. Super pigmented and rich, you need just one-two swipes for complete opaque color. It gives a glossy look which goes away after some time and the color stays on for 2-3 hours after which it fades away evenly. Its hydrating and does not require separate lip balm, non sticky and feels very light on the lips.

Fuchsia Sparkler is a bright fuchsia pink.

Grape Martini is a gorgeous grape color. (nothing like this in my stash) Unique and pretty.

So the pinks,reds and nudes might be common shades, I definitely suggest getting this for Grape Martini. I haven’t seen Hawaian Orange but that sounds good too.

Top- Fuchsia Sparkler, Bottom- Grape Martini

These are travel friendly too. Also the quantity is superb, though the price is slightly higher. I wish all brands came up with half quantity and price and mini versions, so that we can try to finish the products too,which usually never happens!

Overall, I love the shade Grape Martini. I like the pigmentation and ease of use of these Lip Cremes. These are indeed like rich,creamy liquid lipsticks. Though the staying power is normal, you can reapply them anywhere with ease. Definitely recommend!

By now, all of you must be knowing about these super gorgeous bright neon matte nail enamels launched by Faces.
 
I have reviewed 75 Ibiza HERE and 76 Bubblepop HERE

They come in normal Faces Nail Enamels packaging..the brush is awesome..no streaking or spreading out..dries quickly..and it stays and stays !
 
This shade is wrongly named as Bubblepop..as you can see Bubblepop is a bubblegum pink and Ibiza is a bright coral..
 
This shade is brighter then Ibiza..a mix of orangey coral and pink..I was thinking it might not be as bright as Fire Stick..but then there are no other shades left out of the 5 neon shades launched..
 
Goes opaque in 2-3 coats and stays for a long time..more than a week.
 
The brush is super easy to use and gives a nice, smooth streak free finish. It dries super quick..no hassles of waiting..its TOLUENE & DBP, Camphor and Formaldéhyde free. 

Perfect quality and good enough quantity..justified price..I have all 3 brights..Ibiza, Bubblepop and this..

It comes in a simple black no fuss packaging..it has a faint vanilla smell which I liked..

Its super moisturising..I love how it glides on lips like a lip balm..and quite pigmented indeed..

Maroon Plus is a deep burgundy red..I expected it to be aunty like maroon..but its not..this looks quite good ! Its a perfect winter shade..Stays for 4+ hours even after eating.

T- 2,3 swipes, B- 1 swipe

Here is it on me..


Looks better on the lips than in the hand swatch 😀

Pros:

1. Super moisturising.
2. Highly pigmented.
3. Neat fuss free packaging.
4. Has a vanilla smell.
5. Comes in 18 shades.
6. Does not smear or stain..and easy to use..even the darker shades don’t require using a lip brush, etc even though its super moisturising.
7. Stays for 4-5 hours..and leaves behind a pretty stain.

Cons:

1. I wish there were more shades..and more of pinks and corals and peaches..

Overall, I would say I quite love these..the formula is perfect..and these are amazingly pigmented and hydrating..and staying power is quite good too.

I have been soo busy attending weddings these days..like the past whole month..so many friends got engaged and married..like in lots ! Literally..And I have been running helter skelter to attend functions..some being out of town too..quite a hectic schedule managing functions, work, office and blog..thank God, I am not supposed to manage home as of yet..dunno how am I going to manage, when I would be supposed to :/

They come in normal Faces Nail Enamels packaging..the brush is awesome..no streaking or spreading out..dries quickly..and it stays and stays !

Bubblepop is a super pretty bright blue based neon bubblegum pink ! I soo love this shade..it looks super nice and not OTT neon..


I have received tons of compliments for this..and asked which nail paint is this..

I love the complete matte effect..and still gel like feel..only issue is it needs minimum 3 coats to be completely opaque.


The brush is super easy to use and gives a nice, smooth streak free finish. It dries super quick..no hassles of waiting..its TOLUENE & DBP, Camphor and Formaldéhyde free.



Perfect quality and good enough quantity..justified price..I have Ibize, this Bubblepop and one more shade from this Neon Matte range.

Highly recommended !

I am so in love with these !

Faces Hi- Shine 69 Motivated is a super pretty raisin pink shade..it looks amazing be it with your formal wear or casual wear..this is one shade that you can wear with anything and everything..right now this one is on my toes too 😀 Goes opaque in 2 coats..

Faces Matte 75 Ibiza is a neon bright coral..I love this too ! A perfect holiday wear color I feel..this just pops your nails ! This comes up sheer and needs 3 coats for opaque finish..I have 2 coats here and you can see the nails are not fully opaque.

Pros:

1. Amazing brush.
2. Stays for 5-6 days without chipping and then just little chipping on the tips.
3. Hi Shine gives super glossy finish and Matte ones are amazingly gel like matte.
4. TOLUENE & DBP, Camphor and Formaldéhyde free.
5. Dries quickly.
6. For the quality and quantity, the price is perfect.
7. Tons of shades to choose from.

Cons:

1. Matte needs 3 coats for opaque coverage.

I am so loving them both..Highly highly recommend these both ! Totally worth the price ! I also like Faces Matte in Bubblepop..a bright neon pink..

I know I am MIA from a long time..blame the stupid internet..its been 8-9 days it gets disconnected every night..and during daytime I am in office..finally I get to blog :DComing to Myntra.com, I have shopped a few time previously at Myntra but mostly clothes, shoes, etc..but not from the Beauty section..they provided a voucher to shop and experience the beauty section..and I said why not..

I got my stuff within a day or two..they are pretty quick..and I love how we get different individual boxes..don’t we all need them to keep our makeup 😀

Let’s see what I shopped..

Nivea Purifying Face Wash (for Combination to Oily Skin)
Revlon Touch and Glow Pimple Corrector

Things I feel they should work on..most of the things were out of stock..like I had a few things in my cart and they were OOS the next day..so had to replace them..for the Lip Glosses, they had just 3 shades available..and not the shade I wanted..I was interested more in Mirrored Mauve..so definitely more stock and variety is what they can improve on..and shipping is free above Rs.1000/- which I feel is a little too high..it should be around Rs.400-500/-
