Hi guys,

What do you think of wishes coming true? You know how sometimes, a someone special gifts us exactly what we wanted?! Now that’s a wish genie whispering our wishes in their minds 😀

Flipkart similarly tries fulfilling everyone’s wishes,acts as a wish genie on our behalf,when we want to gift something special to someone.

One of my fellow blogger Manjulika wished for this Philips Air Fryer for her mom as she makes super yummy kachoris and samosas, smart wish I would say, coz it benefits the entire family plus takes care of their health too with less to no usage of oil. Also,one can bake, grill, fry and do so much more with an Air Fryer. I would love to try the Air Fryer too some day.

But when it comes to fulfilling wishes, I would like to be a genie here and fulfill my husband’s wish and get him something very useful which saves him a lot of time. He is always multi-tasking and managing his own freelance work too on weekends,apart from his regular job. He is mostly on the phone interacting and connecting with people. Also, he is looking to get into fitness coz that is something he has been neglecting since a while and has just started putting on weight.

We hardly get to spend time together as he is working on something or the other on weekends too,and we are ‘newly married’! Imagine my life later on. A few weeks ago when we were making some plans for weekend, my husband had to go for a meeting on Saturday related to his freelance work and the entire Saturday was spent in it, plus there are times he has conference calls on Sundays and at odd hours coz few participants are from US. I truly believe he should start delegating stuff and also invest in gadgets which save him a lot of time and manage his time wisely.

OOTD: Cut out Maxi Dress

Hey everyone,

A new OOTD..this time with a maxi dress..I have only shot one striped maxi before and yet to post that..so actually, the 1st maxi dress outfit I am wearing here..

Few girls believe maxi dresses and palazzos are not for short girls and they only look good on tall girls..well let me tell you, its nothing like that. It all depends on how you carry it..everything can look good equally on shorter girls..not all of us are born tall and that does not deprive us of wearing these amazing stuff, trust me.

Some tips for short girls on how to wear a maxi dress:

  • Go for vertical prints.which run from top to bottom
  • Sheer fabric towards the bottom
  • Slim fit (or cinch with a belt)- You don’t want to look like you are stuck in a tent!
  • Wedge it up- You can add a fun pair of wedges or block heels (But stick to flats if its a beachy kind dress)
  • Hi low maxi dresses (Well these are very flattering on the petite girls)
  • Solid colors and colors close to your skin tone give you a taller appearance

So, go all out and try out those maxis, you fella short sistas 😀 And do share your pics with me 🙂

I am wearing a cut out printed maxi dress here, which has shades of red and green. I love this color combo..and the fabric is so soft to touch. It has a black knee length lining so makes it half sheer which is quite IN and looks chic. Only I wish the fit was more better..it could have been slightly flowy but cinched at the waist..and the upper part could have been more fitted.

I paired it with pop blue earrings and red and mint flats (since its more beachy kinds..you can always accessorize in a different way and add wedges for a different look) and kept it simple on the accessories front with just one gold bracelet and a gold headband..since the dress was to grab the attention.

OOTD: Polka Dot Pants, Daniel Wellington Watch

I am back with an OOTD..I attended the Oriflame Bloggers Meet and yesterday and the Pond’s Men Range Launch (Super cute Varun Dhawan is the brand ambassador)

So basically I wore this white shirt with my super comfy slouchy polka dot pants..which are so comfortable in this horrible summers. The white shirt has a teal blue lining which gives the perfect pop of color to the monochrome outfit..

Also I wore this gold statement necklace..and finished with red and mint flats and my current favorite Daniel Wellington Watch !

With December end and holidays, everyone is in party mode always. So I thought of..what all does a girl need to look her best this party season..

1. Good Skin : Well, that is the main. With winters setting in and everyone suffering from dry skin, its very important to moisturize and take care of your skin..and hydrate yourself..coz with bad skin, how much ever makeup one layers, one never looks good. So, skin care is must !

2. Bouncy, Shiny Hair: After skin, comes the mane. Well, who does’nt want those sexy, shiny locks that shine through out the party. And just shampooing is not enough. Conditioner is good. You also need deep conditioners and serums this winter. And regular oiling, just for an hour before wash, would work wonders for your hair. Hair care is equally important.

3. Nails: Well manicured and pedicured hand and toe nails..with a sexy red nail paint would steal the show. Is’nt it ? Who does’nt like a glossy shiny red nail paint on oneself ? Makes you feel all glam instantly.

4. Perfect Base: A good foundation,which does not transfer on your tissues and onto the clothes of people you hug, and gives a nice flawless, dewy skin and stays put till you dance away, is a must. And a sexy rosy blush and lots of highlighter 😀

7. Heels don’t lie: Matching heels to rock your LBD. Go Metallic, monochrome, contrast, animal print, whatever you want.

8. Make a Statement: A Gold/Bronze statement necklace and cuffs/bracelets look super sexy with a LBD. Or you can even go for something brighter. There are tons of options..but statement necklace or statement earrings and a cuff or a cocktail ring..accessories would complete your outfit..but remember the ‘OR’. This or that..never wear all at once..and end up looking like a mobile jewellery store.

9. Smell so good: How you smell reflects your personality..we all have our favorite perfumes..so spritz some of that and walk through.

10. Hair Free: Of course with the LBD, you are supposed to be hair free..and with the help of epilators and shavers, you need not worry about it.
