What the Company claims: Foundation with a silky texture for a sheer, velvety smooth finish. Formulated with Power Stay Complex for amazingly long wear without touch-ups. Beats shine without creating a masky effect. Suitable for all skin types. SPF 10. Hypoallergenic.*
Available in 5 shades :
MRP: Rs. 650/- for 30ml
It comes in a small glass bottle with a black pump dispensor..and a transparent black cap. The pump dispenses the exact amount on pressure and there is no wastage at all..I quite liked the pump..and the cap fits in tightly too..so there is no risk..but just that the bottle is glass..so has to be handled properly.
03 Caramel Beige is a medium shade with yellow undertones..01 leans more to pink undertones and 05 more to yellow and orange undertones. Though it has yellow undertones..it blends perfectly with the skin without any yellow tones showing up.
It has a slight fruity fragrance which goes away in a few seconds..and it blends in a jiffy…giving medium to high coverage..it does give a smooth finish to the skin..hides imperfections and evens out the skin tone..you can even skip a concealer if you do not have any marks or scars to hide.
After Blending
Pros:
1. Does what it claims. Gives a smooth finish to the skin. 2. Medium to high coverage. 3. Since this is not oil based..it would suit both oily and dry skinned. 4. Stays put the whole day. 5. Minimizes the appearance of pores. 6. Available in 5 shades..and since it has yellow undertones..it would suit our warmer skin tones well. 7. Blends well and quickly. 8. Has SPF 10. 9. Photographs well too..does not give a whitish cast. 10. Gives a dewy finish to the skin. 11. Reasonably priced.
Cons:
1. You need to touch up with powder after a few hours..as there might be some shine..especially on the T zone. 2. Has silicones which gives the smooth finish…might not suit a few people.
Overall I quite liked its feel..and its well priced too..and the yellow undertones match our skin tones too. I think this should be given a try.

The Body Shop Extra Virgin Minerals Cream Compact Foundation Review
What the Company claims: Created from a unique blend of 100% ultra-fine, ultra-pure mineral pigments and 100% Community Fair Trade Italian cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, this foundation blends on like a cream and miraculously transforms to a light-weight matte finish to give a medium to full coverage.
This cream-to-powder mineral foundation contains pure minerals and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil for an immaculate, matte finish. It has an ultra-blendable formula and contains a custom brush for flawless application.
Medium to full coverage Smooth, matte finish Integrated cruelty-free brush Contains SPF 15 Fragrance & Paraben-free
Its a cream based foundation..perfect for the winters..and since it has kaolin clay..it can stay well in summers too and for those with oily skin too. It comes with a small stiff compact brush in the lower compartment and a small mirror on top..the packaging is quite handy and nice..you can comfortably carry it and get that perfect coverage any where..
The Liquid Foundation is oil based..so more suitable for dry skin..but this would suit all skin types…even if one has oily skin and this is cream based..the kaolin clay absorbs the oil and keeps skin matte.
It comes in 8 shades here..you get some 12 shades in US..I have 208 Golden Vanilla which matches me perfectly..here is the swatch of 208..
Before blending
After blending
Pros:
1. Super easy to use and blend. Just a few strokes with the brush and since the brush is soft yet stiff it reaches even the under eyes and corners properly. 2. Paraben and fragrance free. 3. Made from extra virgin olive oil and mineral pigments. 4. It gives medium to high coverage depending on how you build up..but even if used once..gives decent enough coverage. 5. Even though it contains kaolin clay..I do not find it drying..in fact the creaminess is fine. 6. This would suit all skin types. 7. Has SPF 15. 8. You do not realise you are wearing a foundation and it stays put the whole day ! 9. It does not transfer on clothes or tissues. 10. Perfect packaging..can be used anywhere.
Cons:
1. I do not have any cons for it ! Only thing is one would not know how long would it last..like you can see the quantity but you would not exactly know.
Overall I super like it and recommend it to everyone ! One fabulous product..

The Body Shop Extra Virgin Minerals Liquid Foundation Review
What the Company claims: This liquid mineral foundation is a unique combination of pure minerals and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil. It provides light to medium, ultra-blendable coverage with a smooth, dewy finish. Extra Virgin Minerals Liquid Foundation is made from an exclusive combination of pure mineral pigments and Community Fair Trade extra virgin olive oil and marula oil, creating a wonderfully blendable foundation, which is light and comfortable to wear and offers all-day hydration, 14 hours of skin moisturisation.
Light to medium coverage Dewy finish Ultra-blendable No added fragrance Paraben free
Now it comes in around 12 shades in the US..but here only 4-5 shades are launched..and the names too are a little different..so its quite confusing..Eg: 202 is Warm Vanilla here and Natural Vanilla there..I am not too sure of there is difference in shades too.
I was confused between 202 Warm Vanilla and 208 Golden Vanilla as both are quite similar..I thought 208 would be a better match and went for it.
Now all the claims made for it are true..it is ultra blendable..and provides a dewy finish. Extra virgin olive oil and marula oil are its core ingredients..and you would immediately feel its oil based from the texture..I would not advice oily skinned girls to go for this..but still you can try this in winters if you love dewy finish.
It comes with a pump and is super handy to use and carry along. Since it is fragrance free..some people may not like the smell..It does not have any particular smell of its own.
Here is the swatch of 208 Golden Vanilla..it matches me perfectly..
Blended
And here is how it looks on me..I have used just the foundation..no concealer or powder..so that you can get the idea of the coverage..
Pros:
1. Super easy to use and blend. Even fingers work fine. 2. Paraben and fragrance free. 3. Made from extra virgin olive oil and marula oil. 4. Gives a nice dewy finish. 5. Its quite moisturising and even if I skip a moisturiser it never goes streaky. 6. Perfect for dry skinned girls or using in winters. 7. Has SPF 30. 8. Light to medium coverage. 9. It does not transfer on clothes or tissues. 10. Feels very light on skin.
Cons:
1. You may not like it if you have very oily skin. 2. It has SPF 30..so needed to be blended well if you are going to be photographed to avoid a whitish cast. 3. It stays well if in a AC environment..if out in a humid weather you need to touch up with a powder.
Overall I do like this..especially in the winters..and also coz I like dewy finish.

What the Company claims: Monave powdered mineral makeup foundation uses a very simple formula that offers amazing coverage, a sheer, natural look, and incredible staying powder. Clean, non-allergenic ingredients help soothe inflamed rosacea, or acne-prone skin while protecting the skin from the elements.
Monave loose mineral makeup foundation is extremely versatile, and can be applied dry with a flat-top foundation brush or mixed with a facial moisturizer for sensitive or dry skin. Our mineral foundation has complete coverage and full spectrum sunscreen, and oil control properties. No separate concealer or powder is needed in most cases.
Loose mineral foundation is the purest form of foundation available. It is talc-free, chemical-free and dye-free. It is ideal for acne sufferers as it provides complete coverage of blemishes at the same time helping to heal and calm inflammations. This foundation can be used after recent plastic surgery and is the most hypoallergenic cosmetic on the market. It hides skin conditions such as rosacea and spider veins yet feels utterly weightless!
In addition, Monave loose mineral foundation has a high SPF factor and is nearly waterproof. It’s an excellent sports make-up and is also ideal for women with active lifestyles.
While it is a powder foundation, it is not drying. It seals in moisture for those with dry skin yet doesn’t clog pores for those with oily skin. It also won’t “break up” in response to oil, but remains flawless throughout the day.
And finally, the glow skin receives from the minerals takes years off of a woman’s face. Some women don’t recognize themselves.
Directions: Tap a small amount of loose mineral foundation powder into the top of your jar, and swirl your flat-top foundation or kabuki brush into it. Tap the bottom of the handle with the brush head facing upward on a hard surface (eg. bathroom counter). This settles the powder into the brush head. Firmly spread powder on clean, dry skin to evenly blend pigments. For the most natural look, start with less powder, and buff it in well, using a circular motion. For blemishes, a separate conclear is not needed. Use a shadow brush or the edge of the flat-top brush to apply small amounts to the problem areas and blend well. For those with dry, flaky skin, MONAVE loose mineral foundation can be blended with Monave cream to create a cream foundation. First, moisturize as usual, then tap a small amount of powder into the palm of the hand. Add a drop of moisturizer. Blend the two products together until a smooth, creamy consistency is achieved. Use your fingers or make-up wedge to apply.
Ingredients: Mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, ultramarine blue, May Contain: zinc oxide, silica
MRP: Full Size: $19.50 Full Size Plus Refill: $29.50 Sample Size: $2.50
Weight: 9-10 g It comes in 24 shades…so there is a perfect shade for you out there..the only problem is guessing the correct shade..for that you can buy 2-3 samples of shades you think would be perfect for you and decide on the best match.
I like the fact that these are talc free, chemical free and dye free..the only problem with mineral foundations is the coverage..they never give you complete coverage if you desire that…but these are just perfect for daily wear..and non comodogenic..plus you can also use these as a Tinted Moisturiser..mixing them with a little oil free moisturiser of you choice.
T- Carloine B- Saturnina
I have the shade Caroline and Saturnina.. Caroline: Light yellow undertone for caucasian and light asian skin tones, also has a faint pink hue.
Saturnina: For Latinas, Southeast Asians, Native Americans, or light skinned African-American women. Deep, peachy yellow undertones bring out the warm tones of this complexion.
Blended
Caroline is a little lighter for me..Saturnina is a more better match..
Pros:
1. These are quiet light and good for everyday use. 2. Do not cake up or make your dry patches accentuate. 3. These would give you 3-4 hours of wear. 4. Good to top your makeup with or keep your skin matte. 5. You just need a little bit..so 9-10g would last quiet long. 6. You can layer it up for a little more coverage after the first one sets in. 7. Mineral makeup is perfect for you if you have sensitive skin or suffer from some skin problems or acne which the normal foundation may aggravate.
Cons:
1. This would not give you complete coverage…like you do need a concealer for some spot concealing. 2. Availability. You can buy it here 3. You do need a good powder brush or kabuki to use mineral foundations.
Overall decent enough. These are quiet good for daily use..and surely recommended for people with sensitive skin.

What the Company claims: Creamy and smooth, Tinted Foundation Cream provides a touch of colour and a perfect base for powder or blusher. This coloured sensitive skin cream is part of our make-up range for sensitive skin. For greater coverage, use in conjunction with our Translucent Face Powder, or follow with one of our soft powder blushers.
Choose from the following (listed in order of palest to darkest): Warm Peach, Honey Beige, Misty Beige, Warm Amber
Dot over your face and smooth in gently, taking care to blend well around the jawline and hairline.
It comes in a pump kind of bottle..but it does not pump out easily from it…the shade is a little darker than my skin tone and its the second palest…so only four shades to select from is a problem..this is more of a tinted moisturiser than a foundation…its very creamy and blends well..but it would give a light to medium coverage..
Pros:
1. Works well as a tinted moisturiser. 2. Perfect for dry skin as its very creamy and hydrating. 3. All products made suitable to sensitive skin. 4. Shipping is decent enough.. 4.5£ 5. Works for everyday wear and comes off easily even with a normal cleanser.
Cons:
1. Only 4 shades to choose from. 2. Has parabens and cetearyl alcohol. 3. Only available online. 4. May be thick for oily skin..esp in humid climate…would not stay long. 5. Not meant for people who need heavy coverage. 6. I think it should be priced a little less.
Overall its kind of ok..does not work great as a foundation but ok as a tinted moisturiser..I like its ease of use as a daily wear…you can use it easily and remove it easily.

This is a very light weight foundation and you would not even feel like you are wearing any..Though the name is liquid foundation…it is more of a cream…and just a little bit is enough to cover the whole face..just half a pump..I like the dispensor of the bottle which comes out by twisting when required and goes down when not by twisting again…saves space and makes it easy to carry.
What the Company claims: Light – Medium coverage. Non-greasy, lightweight formula that wont clog your pores and feels just like your own skin. It’s as if you are not wearing any make-up at all. Convenient twist and pump, airless dispenser that reduces spillage and waste.
Directions: Ensure your primer has absorbed first, then apply foundation. Two pumps of foundation is usually sufficient – apply using clean fingertips, liquid foundation brush or a sponge.
Ingredients: Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Distillate*, Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Zinc Oxide, Mica (CI 77019), Glycerine*, Cetearyl Glucoside, Cetearyl Alcohol, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Xanthan Gum, may contain (+/-) Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Ultramarines (CI 77007)
MRP: 59 $ for 30g
Pros:
1. Very light weight and sits on skin like second skin. 2. Packaging and pump dispensor are nice and make it travel friendly. 3. Though the directions say 2 pumps..for me half a pump is enough for the whole face and neck. 4. It gives medium coverage and it can be buildable to heavy if you need so. 5. This is going to last long..as the qty is enough. 6. It is free from parabens.talc, palm oil and other chemicals…so does not harm skin and would never clog pores. 7. It blends like a dream with my Sigma F80. 8. The website and management is very nice…they help you select the exact shade and always reply instantly.
Cons:
1. It has only 5 shades..and mine is Medium Dark which is the second darkest..the 1st three being for paler and pinker undertones. 2. Difficult to find out the exact shade online. 3. Its expensive and the shipping cost is high too..but you do get quality.
