MRP: Rs.700/- for 150ml

Ingredients:

It comes in a black and blue packaging with a black pump dispensor. It is a thick gel with a blue tint, be careful of the quantity you take as you need very little of the gel.

You know how Preity Zinta has her signature wet looking curls all the time? And the sleek tight hair buns and side swept hairstyles on the runways..well it is all thanks to a product like this one.

Hair sprays stiffen your hair, so when you want to keep your hairstyle in place but still don’t want that super stiff look of a hair spray, the L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Extreme Splash will come to your rescue.

There are days when I want my hair parting and pouf to stay in a certain place, is when I take a bit of this product and set the hair in place and then it doesn’t budge and the pouf and parting stays throughout the day. The hair do take the shape but are not as stiff as with a hair spray and you can still move them with ease.

It is not something I would use on an everyday basis, only when I want to create a particular look. If you are a guy who loves using gels and creating spikes, this is the product for you!

It is not very expensive as 150ml is a super huge quantity and this will last forever as you need just a bit of the product every time.

Overall, I would say if you are someone who experiments a lot with hair and creates different hair styles, then you can try this. Not something for regular use or if you keep your hair open or tied in a full or half pony everyday. Definitely recommend it to guys! And if you are a girl with curly hair who likes Preity Zinta like wet curls.

I am not much into sleek hair styles, so not something I use much and I would not repurchase it.

L’Oreal Professionnel Wild Stylers by Tecni.Art Beach Waves Spray Review

Phew..that’s quite a mouthful. And the name is even longer L’Oreal Professionnel Wild Stylers by Tecni.Art Beach Waves Texturizing Salt Spray! Yeah :p

What the Company claims: Fresh from the beach effect, for sexy, tousled hair with a matt finish

Hold:  2- Light

How to use: Spray onto dry or wet hair and scrunch with hands or define using fingers for a more defined finish

Tips: Perfect on all hair types and to wear on top of other products for a more sexy, matt finish

Ingredients:

MRP: Rs.700/- for 150ml

It comes in a sleek, plastic bottle with the most innovative cap which has a lock button, so untill you press the lock button to one side, it won’t spray. This makes it quite convenient and would avoid wastage/spillage during travel, etc too. Smells really nice.

You can use it on wet or dry hair. I tried it on dry next day hair, I sprayed it at night, rolled my hair high up and kept it overnight.

Also see this video on how to use it..

Now if you have long or dense/thick hair, you are going to need a lot of this! Also since it has alcohol, it is bit drying and hence the matt finish, so do not expect any shine or glossiness in your hair. (Usually hair gets dry on the beach,so beachy waves are not supposed to be shiny or glossy anyways)

Next morning my hair had some waves, only towards the lower half,of course. My hair is quite straight and only slightly wavy and silky too,so nothing holds onto my hair..I need a heavy hair spray for any hairstyle to stay on my hair! :/

Since this has light hold, the waves are not like those softly done curls with a hair curler, but very light natural waves, which would loosen with a thin comb too! Hence, do not use a comb, but only your hands to get rid of tangles and scrunch them up real well!

You may follow up with a good hold hair spray to hold the waves, which I recommend you do, coz without a spray, the waves won’t stay for long, especially if your hair is usually straight like me. Or you can use a curler at first and then use this on light curls, following up with a spray.

Now coming to whether I recommend it, well you know I can get similar waves if I tie my damp hair in a braid or rolling it and tying in a bun and keeping it overnight. Also you can make your own sea salt spray at home mixing hot water, sea salt, bit of coconut/argan oil, few drops of essential oil and a bit of leave in conditioner. If you have straight hair, this won’t help much and also since the hold is light, they won’t stay for long.

So, this being priced at Rs.700 is obviously expensive, when you do need a lot of quantity in every use especially when you have long hair, I won’t say its a must have, but if you always wanted to try a sea salt spray, then you can give this a try.
