Onion Juice For Hair - 5 Benefits & Ways to Use

Onion Juice For Hair – 5 Benefits & Ways to Use

Onion Juice For Hair – 5 Benefits & Ways to Use

By Nidhal

The list of hair woes is endless. However, there is one wonder ingredient in your pantry that can rescue your mane from all the trouble. It’s none other than the good Ol’ onion. Don’t believe? Have a look at its benefits for your mane. Jot down these benefits of onion for hair so that the next time you suffer from any hair woe that can be combated by use of onion juice, you have something to refer to which will bring you back to me, hopefully thanking me.

1. ARRESTS HAIR FALL- Tried every possible product and home remedy to somehow arrest your crowning glory’s strands fall like wilted leaves off your head? Dissatisfied still? Give a shot to onion juice. Onion is a rich source of sulphur, which is extremely beneficial for healthy hair growth. It prevents hair breakage and accelerates regrowth of hair.

PROCEDURE- Gently massaging the fresh juice of an onion or two onto the scalp helps increase blood circulation, thereby strengthening the hair follicles. Be patient and persistent as I always say. I understand that saying this is a cakewalk and being in the shoes of the person suffering is a Herculean task but stressing will aggravate the situation all the more. Follow the regimen for at least two months twitch a week.

2. BID ADIEU TO PREMATURE GREYING OF HAIR- Does your face pucker on seeing those hideous white strands making a peak-a- boo out of nowhere from your scalp as you stroke your mane with your fingers or spruce it up? Head to the pantry and raid it for an onion. Premature greying of hair is caused as a natural antioxidant- catalase reduces. Onion helps control this problem by increasing catalase. Simply chop an onion (Devdas alert!)

PROCEDURE- Strain it well to remove all the chunks and using a cotton ball dipped wholly into the juice of the onion, slather it generously all over your scalp focussing a little more on the area where you have white hair strands. Wash off your hair after half an hour and shampoo as usual. Since onion juice is entirely liquid, it will be a messy affair. Repeat twice a week for two months and anticipate positive results with bated breath.

3. BID FAREWELL TO SCALP INFECTIONS AND PARASITES- Remember class 8 th science which introduced you to the world of parasites and hosts? Let me save you the hassle of recalling it. Parasites are creatures that ‘live off’ hosts. They derive everything from shelter to nutrition from the host without giving anything positive in return. In other words, the parasite gets to be a free-loader! And we do not entertain such creatures especially if they are on our scalp. To do away with such parasites inhabiting our scalp, this time we will rely upon ‘onions’.

PROCEDURE- Simply grind and sieve them to extract their juice. Mix it with amla powder (which has a rich content of Vitamin C). Apply using a cotton swab and then, wash your hair with plenty water. Onions have anti-bacterial properties which is useful in getting rid of scalp infections and parasites while amla will strengthen the locks.

4. IMPARTS SHINE TO YOUR TRESSES- I tried it once and was thrilled to see how lustrous my locks looked after washing off the juice. The first use itself threw results, however, this point is subjective but there is no denying that onion juice imparts a winsome glow to your mane. Onion belongs to the Allium family and is enriched with sulphur-containing compounds that are responsible for its pungent taste and odour.

PROCEDURE- Simply mix adequate onion juice with reetha powder and curd. Keep it on your hair for about half an hour and then wash off using a mild shampoo and conditioner. Repeat twice a week to acclimatize your hair and scalp to these ingredients. If you wish to add/subtract any ingredient that you think suits your hair, you are welcome to do so.

5. STRENGTHENS YOU MANE- Onion juice is very rich in Sulphur content. Application of the juice to the scalp stimulates and improves blood circulation. Hair grows from the follicles in the scalp. The next time you feel your hair is losing its strength, head no further than your very own pantry.

PROCEDURE- To use, simply chop and strain the juice of an onion. Mix with shikakai powder. Apply on your scalp and rinse thoroughly after half an hour. Shampoo and condition as usual. Repeat twice a week for at least two months.

L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Hair Masque Review

L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Hair Masque Review

By Monika

Hello to all the NLM readers!!!

L’Oreal is currently one of the leading brands in the market be it for hair care, makeup or skin care. Since I take care of my hair a tad bit more than my skin I was eyeing for a good hair masque after all, some extra care for your hair wouldn’t do any harm. As mentioned earlier L’Oreal is widely known for its hair care range so it only seemed fair that I bought the masque from their Total Repair 5 Range. Continue reading, to know my views on the product and how I use it.

Price and quantity: Rs 369 for 200gms (Buy HERE)

Shelf life: Best before 3 years from the date of packaging

Directions for use: Gently massage into washed and towel dried hair. Leave it on for 2 minutes for intensive treatment.

Product Claims

  • Hair is nourished, smoother, stronger.
  • Helps fight the signs of hair damage.

Ingredients: Water, cetearyl alcohol, mineral oil, dipalmitoylethyl hydroxyethylmonium, methosulfate cetyl estres, lactic acid, phenoxyethanol, tridecth-6,chlorhexidine digluconate, limonene, linalool, benzyl salicylate, amodimethicone, 2-oleamido- 1, 3-octadecanediol, fragrance, cetrimonium chloride, butyl phenyl methylpropional, hexyl cinnamal.

My views on the product

The packaging of the product is somewhat similar to other products of the total repair 5 range apart from the fact that this hair masque comes in a tub. I personally would have preferred a tube or a bottle instead of the tub since, that ensures hygienic application. Otherwise, the packaging would have scored a perfect 10 for; the red colored cap along with the white colored tub which has white and golden detailing is extremely eye catching.

The tub is quite sturdy and leak proof so that you can carry it around while travelling. If you are carrying this in your travel bag or, for that matter if you are using it at home on towel dried hair you can most definitely skip your conditioner since it does condition the hair. There is not one specific way by which I use this product but, multiple ways which include using it as a mask before washing my hair, using it as a conditioner on towel dried hair after washing it. When used as a conditioner I leave it on for a good 5 minutes and then rinse it off with water. At times when my hair is feeling especially dry I take a pea sized amount of the product and use it as a leave-in conditioner. I have an oily scalp with slightly dry ends so I use this mask only at the ends but people with dry hair can go all out and use it onto their scalp as well as the ends. All of this being said, make sure that you use this mask not more than twice a week because the alcohol present in the ingredient list can be a bit drying.

The white colored mask has a pleasant fragrance which stays on the hair for 1-2 days after the wash. The texture as well as the working action is exactly similar to a conditioner and I see no reason why someone should pay extra amount of money for something that is no different from a conditioner. I, in particular had high expectations from the mask but it did nothing extraordinary apart from the general conditioning. The brand claims to help fight 5 signs of hair damage but even with regular usage I did not find any major difference in my hair. It does nothing to improve the hair texture, strength, shine and growth. This is one of the few products that I regret buying since it doesn’t live up to the expectations and is not cost-effective.

Pros:

  • Availability
  • Conditions hair
  • Travel-friendly packaging
  • Can be used in multiple ways
  • Pleasant fragrance

Cons:

  • Doesn’t help fight the 5 signs of hair damage
  • Heavy on the pocket
  • Can a bit drying coz of alcohol

Rating: 2/5

Final word

I wouldn’t recommend this mask to anyone and for the people who really are eager to try out the product can just try the conditioner from this range and that in itself would give similar results in spite of shelling out less money.

Editor’s Note: Sounds ok. Though I feel it’s not very expensive, coz all hair masques in the market are priced around the same.

How to cover grey hair at home | BBLUNT Salon Secret High Shine Crème Hair Colour Review

Hi guys,

As most of you know by now, BBLUNT has launched another new product in the hair-colour category and that is the BBLUNT Salon Secret High Shine Crème Hair Colour.

Claims: BBLUNT‘s Salon Secret High Shine Crème Hair Colour, is a 3-part hair colour that gives you salon like gorgeous hair at home. Packed in this box is our salon’s secret to dazzling hair colour.

Simply mix the luxuriously creamy Colourant and Developer together in equal proportions and add the Shine Tonic. Now mix till smooth for a fragrant, non-drip blend. Apply and Voila! You’re only 30 minutes away from epic, shiny hair! This no ammonia hair colour gives 100% grey coverage that lasts upto 8 weeks long.

SHINE TONIC.  Enriched with Silk Proteins, this special tonic is what your regular hair colour had been missing for so long.

MRP: Rs.199/-

Product Features:

  • 3-part colour hair colour with a unique Shine Tonic that gives you salon like gorgeous hair at home
  • Contains no ammonia
  • The rich colour provides 100% grey coverage
  • Enriched with Silk Proteins, the colour makes your hair smooth after colouring
  • Available in 7 colour shades

o Honey – LIGHT GOLDEN BROWN 5.32

o Wine – DEEP BURGUNDY 4.20

o Mahogany – REDDISH BROWN 4.56

o Coffee – NATURAL BROWN 4.31

Ingredients:

The product’s USP is its Shine tonic – no other brand offers additional shine like BBLUNT, it’s a 1 st in the country.

– Grey coverage + global colour
– No ammonia – minimum damage

It comes in colour co-ordinated boxes as per the shades. Contents include the colour, developer and shine tonic plus a set of gloves and an instruction leaflet.

My mom has medium length hair and I thought I would need two boxes but the quantity is pretty good and one box was more than enough for her hair. But if you have medium-long length hair, you might need to go for two boxes. We opted for Chocolate – Dark Brown for my mom.

Read the instructions manual well, follow the directions, do a patch test at first if you have sensitive skin and remove any colour from the skin immediately, if applied accidentally.

All you need to do is mix the colour, developer and shine tonic together, the entire tubes, mixing them really well. For an all over colour, empty the complete tubes. For only root touch-ups, use 25 gm of Colourant and Developer and 4 ml of Shine Tonic, conveniently marked on the tubes.

And apply the colour immediately. Make sure you cover the roots, area behind the ears and all the inaccessible areas.

Let is sit for 30 minutes for the colour to develop (45 minutes for the Burgundy shade). After the 30 minutes are done, before washing add a little water to your hair and emulsify for 5 minutes. Then rinse until the water runs clear. Shampoo and condition as usual, preferably with any set of BBLUNT shampoo and conditioner as they are all colour protectant.

Here are the Before-After pictures..

I absolutely loved how each and every strand and root was well covered. The colour was very natural looking. Hair was softer and shinier, the unique shine tonic definitely worked! My mom has very dry hair and hence it is easy to feel and notice the difference, her hair is now softer and smoother with a visible shine.

It is easy to use at home, ammonia free, comes in 7 colour shades, plus gives a very natural result covering 100% grey hair really well! The shine tonic is an added bonus. I definitely recommend BBLUNT Salon Secret High Shine Crème Hair Colour, at Rs.199/- it is very economical for the result it gives!

Dr Batra’s Hair Oil Enriched With Jojoba Review

Dr Batra’s Hair Oil Enriched With Jojoba Review

By Pallavi

Hii Lovelies,

Hair oils are my absolute favorite. You might think that I am blessed with really great hair. But no I am not. I don’t have great hair but I always keep working on them in order to have great hair like Bhumika. You know sometimes you are blessed with great hair and sometimes you have to really work hard to get that. Similar is the case with me too. I have been pampering my hair with hair oil and hair masks even DIY hair masks since ages. During my hair care journey I have tried a number of hair oils. But I have never tried anything from the house of Dr. Batra. And we all are well aware of the hair care products of Dr. Batra especially their hair fall products. So, one day when I saw this hair oil at my nearest store then I bought this one without giving any second thoughts and thus here follows the review of the same.

Price : INR 175 for 200 ml (Buy HERE)

Directions to use : Tilt the bottle sideways and take some oil in your palm. Rub your palms to warm the oil and apply it on your scalp by lightly massaging the oil all over your scalp and covering the hair ends too. For best results, use along with Dr Batra’s shampoo.

Ingredients:

What it Claims : Dr Batra’s – Jojoba Hair Oil Jojoba’s excellent moisturizing property restores the texture, glow & luster of hair naturally. Dr Batra’s hair oil enriched with jojoba extracts, prevents tangles, dryness, brittleness and even split ends.

My View:

Dr. Batra Hair oil comes in a medium sized plastic bottle packaging. The bottle is really light weight and easy to carry with. The packaging has the product related information and other claims mentioned on the packaging itself which is really informative for all the consumers. The bottle has a small hole at the top through which the oil comes out.

This oil from the house of Dr. Batra is infused with jojoba oil which is really beneficial for your hair. It is incredibly lightweight and does not feel sticky or heavy on your hair. It spread easily and has a very soothing calming effect not only on hair but also on the nervous system. This oil is also very light in weight and spreads very easily on hair. It nourishes the hair cuticles without a feeling of sticky or heavy. The oil has a very mild and soothing smell of jojoba oil which is not at all strong and I am sure won’t bother sensitive noses.

Since the oil is so lightweight, you can easily apply it overnight and then wash off your hair in the morning. You hair won’t feel the normal chip-chip of any usual hair oil. And once you wash your hair you can still feel the bounce and the healthy feeling of your hair. Also, this oil is meant to take care of any scalp infections or irritations if any. Thus usage of will ensure that your scalp remain free of any kind of scalp infections and thus promotes the healthy growth of your hair.

You require a very little amount of hair oil and thus a single bottle will last you for months. A single 100 ml. Bottle lasted me for 2 months. So, that way it is good economical hair oil.

Good about Dr Batra’s Hair Oil Enriched With Jojoba

1. Good packaging

2. Huge quantity

3. Makes hair soft and bouncy

4. No sticky or heavy feeling on hair

5. Single bottle lasts long

6. No hair fall witnessed

Bad about Dr Batra’s Hair Oil Enriched With Jojoba

1. Sensitive noses can be bothered by the smell

Rating –

Packaging – 4.5/5

Texture – 5/5

Effects – 4.5/5

Overall – 4.8/5

Editor’s Note: This sounds really interesting.

Touch Nature Lemongrass Essential Oil Review, Benefits, How to Use

Touch Nature Lemongrass Essential Oil Review, Benefits, How to Use

By Nidhal

They smell heavenly. They are perfect pick-me- up items to uplift your senses and lull you into a soothing slumber. Popularly used in aromatherapy sessions, essential oils, EO for short are highly concentrated, potent and therapeutic oils that need to be necessarily blended with a carrier/base oil for external use (and they are strictly not meant for internal uses). A base oil is simply any oil that mellows down the potency of the essential oil to the extent that its goodness isn’t reduced but it becomes conducive for use on skin.

The bottom line- Always, without fail, dilute essential oils in a base (or more than one) oil such as- virgin coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil (EVOO in short), virgin sesame oil and so on and so forth for use on skin/hair. Also, add only a few “DROPS’ and not teaspoons/tablespoons of the essential oil into the carrier/base oil. You stand the risk of scalding your skin if you add more than a few drops of essential oil to the base oil.

With these basic ideas in my, I zeroed in on TOUCH NATURE NEPAL LEMONGRASS ESSENTIAL OIL one fine afternoon as I was strolling the streets of Kathmandu, Nepal in 2014 🙂 The people are the epitome of courtesy , warmth and civility by the way. Coming back to the topic, let us begin with how the essential oil fared for me and how I used it for my skin and hair.

PRICE – 350 INR for 10ml (Buy similar from Soulflower HERE)

DIRECTIONS FOR USE- Dilute in a base/carrier oil of your choice, depending on your skin’s condition and use topically.

INGREDIENTS- Pure lemongrass essential oil

WHAT IT CLAIMS- Lemongrass (Cymbopogon) is a perennial plant in the Poaceae grass family and is native to the tropical and subtropical area of India, Cambodia, Indonesia, China, Guatemala, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. It flourishes where the soil is slightly sandy and the climate moist and war. Lemongrass essential oil has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic, anti-oxidant, astringent and diuretic properties.

MY EXPERIENCE-

Packed in a minuscule glass jar with a plastic cap on top and a layer of plastic covering with already perforated holes inset, the packaging of the essential oil is simple, spillage-free and travel-friendly. Yes, the provision of the double layer packaging makes it easy to carry without the fear of leakage. However, I wish a dropper was furnished so that drawing out the oil would have been easier. So, that is my input.

The oil has a riveting aroma. It uplifts you truly! The oil does not have a greasy/oily/thick texture but is fairly runny (as I see). One is not supposed to put it on one’s skin without dilution hence, I never risked doing the same.

FOR MY SKIN – I blend 3-4 drops of this lemongrass essential oil into two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and then, massage it on my skin especially after a bath for that ensures better absorption 🙂 Result? My skin feels hydrated, smoothed out and softened throughout the day besides emanating a lovely aroma that keeps me fresh

FOR MY HAIR- I mix 2 drops of this lemongrass essential oil with 2 tablespoons of virgin sesame oil (which is slightly warm for I prefer hot oil massages). Never mix the oils and then heat the resulting mixture. Do not even heat virgin sesame oil too much else or it may emit flames of smoke, indicating that all its goodness is going in for a toss. Simply heat the virgin sesame oil for a minute or two on LOW FLAME and then after a minute or two, add 2 drops of lemongrass EO. Mix well and apply on your scalp.

Keep it overnight and then apply a mask (optional step) the next morning, shampoo and condition as usual. You will end with shiny, hydrated and softened hair which I did  Oh yes, as far as my experience goes, I find it suitable for use by all skin types except those with excessively dry skin. All hair types can go for it.

GOOD-

1. Riveting aroma. It sends one’s olfactory senses into a tizzy. In one word- Heavenly 

2. Well-packaged

3. Well-priced. Most essential oils are within this range so, one is not being overcharged.

4. Perfect for aromatherapy sessions.

5. Can be added to hair masks with a foul odour to camouflage the smell.

6. Can be added to face masks in order to elicit a soul-stirring aroma.

7. Imparts a glow. I have added a few drops of the same to extra virgin olive oil and used on my face and neck (which is dry)every night for two months. Hence, can vouch for it. Please note, I said “drops”.

BAD-

1. Very difficult to find. I have not been able to find it in India. It is obvious since it is made in Nepal but even if searched online, one is unable to find to find it.

RATING – 4/5

HOW TO USE:  Shake me, spray me, style me. Apply evenly on dry hair, leave in and brush through.

MRP: Rs.900/- for 180ml

It’s a normal, tall spray bottle and is very easy to use. It does not leave too much of white powder residue on the scalp unlike other dry shampoos. It creates an immediate bounce and volume. I am so in love with the way it smells.

I am very lazy when it comes to washing hair and dry shampoos are a staple for me. I have tried 6-7 different brands of dry shampoos and I can easily say, this is by far the best dry shampoo I have tried!

NEW & HERO Root Shot means you are just one shot away from high precision, weightless root lift.

HOLD LEVEL 2
Perfect root lift is only a shot away with this mousse designed for precision application.

HOLD LEVEL 2

MRP: Rs.900/- for 100ml

A BB Lotion for your hair. You must have heard about a lot of BB creams for skin, this is a BB lotion for your hair, and rightfully so. It not only gives the hair a smooth and shiny look and controls frizz, it also repairs, moisturises and works as a heat protectant. What more does one need 😀 I absolutely love it and use it every time post washing my hair. The smell stays on for a long, long time and I can’t stop smelling my hair for the entire day :p

Dry Me and Root Shoot are meant to give you volume and Perfect Me is meant to give hair a sleek and smooth finish. I use the Dry Me dry shampoo a lot, followed by the Perfect Me and Root Shoot whenever I blow dry.

My favourite from all three is obviously the Dry Me, followed by the Perfect Me :p I have clicked pictures before and after using the dry shampoo, the results are for you all to see..

This is my flat 3-4th day unwashed hair and just look at the volume I got on the crown with the dry shampoo.

Also this range is quite economically priced at INR 900. Mostly all hair styling products fall in that price category and talking about quality, I am highly impressed with this range! Highly recommended!!

An essential oil is a concentrated hydrophobic liquid containing volatile aroma compounds from plants.

An oil is ‘essential’ in the sense that it contains the ‘essence of’ the plant’s fragrance—the characteristic fragrance of the plant from which it is derived.

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Shampoo Review

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Shampoo Review

By Taniya

Patanjali is a well known brand in the Indian market. It is famous for its affordable and effective health, hair and skin care products. The product that I am going to review today is a haircare product – PATANJALI KESH KANTI ALOE VERA SHAMPOO. Now lets see how this product fared for me.

What it claims- Prevents hairfall, minimize split ends, removes dirt from hair and scalp. Makes hair thick and beautiful.

Usage- Take 2-3 ml of product on hand, message on wet hair and then rinse off. The whole usage instruction is written in Hindi though.

Ingredients:

Each 10ml contains extract of

● Aloevera- 500mg

● Hibiscus rosa sinensis – 1.0mg

● Ocimum sanctum (tulsi) – 1.0mg

● Baccopa monnieri (bhrami) – 1.0mg

● Sapindus trifoliatus (reetha) – 1.0mg

● Emblica offcinalis (amla) – 1.0mg

● Eclipta alba (bhringraj) – 1.0mg

● Lawsonia innermis (heena) – 1.0mg

● Acacia concina (shikakai) – 1.0mg

Now all the base materials are listed separately too.

● D-Panthenol

● Sugandhit dravya

Price – 75 INR for 200ml of product

Shelf life – 2 years

My take:-

This new launch from Patanjali Ayurved has a different packaging than their other variants. This one comes in a transparent bottle and it very easy to see the amount of product left. The flip top cap shuts tightly with a click which makes it travel friendly.

The shampoo is light green in colour with a gel consistency but when I apply it on my wet hair it lathers very well and my hair is clean in the first wash itself. The smell is citrusy and is mainly like their aloevera gel making it very refreshing for me. It lingers for a good time after I have finished washing my hair.

I am using this product for about 2 weeks now and I have seen my hair become soft and manageable after each hair wash. Even when I washed my hair once without conditioner, it didn’t make my hair very dry and rough. It has controlled the oiliness of my hair and even after 2 days my hair feels soft and so much clean. It has controlled my hairfall to some extent but I can’t comment on split ends as I don’t have as such.

There is no mention of parabens or SLS in the ingredient list so I will like to infer that it is free from these harmful stuff which is a big yay for me. The cons that I feel might be the availability as Patanjali products are sometimes out of stock and are not easily available online. Again I need a little more quantity of shampoo than their other variants for my mid-length hair. But considering their price, I feel it is a steal deal.

Pros-

● Affordable and effective

● Ayurvedic so no side effects

● Contains all good ingridients especially aloevera

● Makes hair soft, smooth and manageable

● Controls hair fall

● Controls oiliness in hair

● Refreshing smell

● Does what it claims

● No parabens or sls

● Better than their other variants

Cons-

● Availability might be an issue

● Need more quantity than others

● Not completely preservative or chemical free

● Packaging can be better

Repurchase and recommendation – Yes in both cases. I love this shampoo specially for summers and monsoons when both me and my hair need to feel fresh.

Overall- It is a very effective shampoo from Patanjali with all natural goodness and it does what it claims to do. And considering the price it is a definitely worth a try.

Editor’s Note: That’s a nice review Taniya, I am looking at trying a few Patanjali products, this one definitely seems worth a try.

Have you tried this Patanjali Aloe Vera Shampoo yet?

July 2016 My Envy Box Review & Unboxing

July My Envy Box Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

I just got the My Envy Box for the month of July. The theme is ‘Band, Baajaa Beauty’ and it’s curated by WedMeGood. The box itself is very pretty, it is neon pink with gold intricate work on it.

I had seen a sneak peek in the email and knew there were two full sized products from SkinYoga and Gulnare in this month’ box.

MRP: Rs.850/- (Available HERE)

Let’s see what I got in this month’s box:

  • SkinYoga Marigold Foot Soak- Full Size (Rs. 695/-)
  • Gulnare Glow Girl Shimmering Dry Oil – Full size (Rs.1250/-)
  • Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Brightening Scrub -5g sample
  • Kama Ayurveda Hand Cream- 5g sample
  • Kerastase Chronologiste Oil- 3ml sample

In total there are 5 products in this month’s box, but except the 2 full sized products, rest of the samples are very tiny. I do prefer deluxe sized samples which have 30g or 30ml product, I do not like the 5g and 5ml tiny samples which hardly serve the purpose.

The foot soak and shimmering body oil do look interesting, but I would have liked body scrub or Gulnare moisturiser/hand cream.

Overall the value of the two full sized products do make up for the cost of the box, but I would suggest go for this month’s box only if you use/interested in trying out the foot soak or shimmering body oil. Or else, can skip this month’ box.

What did you get in your July My Envy Box?

They also had this beautiful setup created at High Street Phoenix where each range was coordinated with the main ingredients in it i.e. almonds and milk for soy milk and almond range, Olives for Mythic Oil range, so on and so forth.

Mythic Olive
5 Precious Herbs
Soy Milk & Almonds
Henna & Blackberry

I have to say this was the most beautiful setup I had seen at any event, and I have been to many! I am sure you can make that out from the pictures.

They gave floral tiaras to all the guests and even the food and drinks were as per the ingredients. The entire highlight was on the different blend of ingredients in the range.

MRP: Shampoo- Rs.120 for 175ml, Rs.55 for 75ml Conditioner- Rs.170 for 175ml. Rs.75 for 75ml for all ranges

I loved the color coordinated packaging as per the ingredients and the cute ‘leaf’ symbol on the caps. Also they smell amazing, Royal Jelly and Lavender is my favourite!

Royal Jelly & Lavender

They are quite rich and moisturizing, and foam well too. I have used the Royal Jelly and Lavender one till now and absolutely love it, though I haven’t tried the conditioner and looking forward to buy the conditioner and use it with the shampoo. I would recommend trying both the shampoo and conditioner together as either one would not give the result which the combination of both would.

It have noticed my hair being more softer and smoother. I don’t have very dry hair, but people with dry hair would see remarkable difference. I can’t wait to try the other ranges now!

A lot of you keep asking me about paraben free hair care, this entire range i.e. all five variants are paraben free.

USP’s:

  • Very economical- Being priced at Rs.55/-, this is one of the most budget friendly range of shampoos in the India currently.
  • Different range for different hair types- So you can choose one according to your hair type or hair problem.
  • Paraben free
  • Smells amazing- Each of the range smells really good.
  • Easily available- You can buy them easily at any store or even online.

I do recommend trying out the new Garnier Ultra Blends Range. Do let me know how you like it. Follow Garnier India on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more updates.
