OOTD: December Fashion Lookbook

Hi guys,

So last month I recorded all the outfits I wore to different events and did not get a chance to post them on the blog, so I am compiling all of them together today.

Here is the youtube video, a small lookbook kind 🙂

Outfit 1:

It’s an abstract print maxi dress which is sheer half way through and has slits on the side. I paired it with nude sling bag and nude/beige clogs and my rose gold Michael Kors watch. I wore it to The Body Shop #JourneyAroundTheWorld Event.

Outfit 2:

I love midi skirts and this rose print one is my most favourite. I paired this skirt with a simple white shirt and folded the sleeves. A black and pink roses statement necklace and the same watch and bag to complete the look. My same old black and gold ankle strap sandals. I wore this to the Avene #SensitiveSkin event as the theme was white and pink.

Outfit 3:

This is the same outfit I wore for my birthday last year. (See HERE) It’s an off shoulder black half printed dress. I love how this dress is so comfortable and has two pockets 😀 I wore this to the Amante store launch. My MK watch and orange bucket bag to complete the look.

Outfit 4:

This is an old bird print peter pan collar dress, I spoke about this dress in my 2015 rewind post. It comes with a white belt and is a perfect day time/brunch/shopping with friends kind of a dress. Again super comfortable and can be worn anywhere. The same rose gold MK watch and Accessorize sling 🙂 And my favourite tan brogues finish the look. I wore this for the TBZ video shoot, see HERE

OOTD: Sporty Chic

Hi guys,

As you all know, I have been talking a lot about the Reliance Trends Spring Summer Collection 2015. We were invited at the Bandra Reliance Trends store to check out and review the collection and pick our favourites and style them 🙂

New Reliance Trends Collection included the brands Rio,Fig, Intribe, Fusion, DNMX and Team Spirit.

Rio has bright coloured tops and tees. Fig has nice summery tunics, sheer crop tops, harem pants,etc. DNMX was all about denim, from printed (polka dots too :p) denims to all types of pants, shorts and also nice denim shirts which mostly all of us picked 😀 It is perfect for layering in summers since quite thin and breathable. Intribe had floral numbered tops, lots of sheer and sequin and even faux leather. Fusion obviously had the Indo-western look and feel with bright skirts, shirts, kurtis,etc. And lastly, Team Spirit was all about casuals and sporty. Numbered tees, hoodie vests,stripes, etc.

For creating this look, I went went a vertical striped numbered tee from Team Spirit. I love how the number has an ombre effect <3 And paired it with blue skinny denims from DNMX, the ombre blue number on the tee matches and balances the outfit.

I paired it with my bright black and pink floral statement necklace, a classic watch, a pretty stone silver ring and studded black pumps. The reflecting sunnies steal the show though 😀 Absolutely loved the mirror reflecting round sunglasses.

The best part is all the brands are quite affordable and do not burn a hole in your pocket. The stuff is perfect for everyday wear and there is something for everyone,from sporty Team Spirit to trendy Fig and DNMX to Indo- western Fusion. OOTD: Cliché Red on Valentine’s Day

Hey guys,

An OOTD after a long time, of course its not new since I can’t even stand yet but hopefully soon. I had done a shoot for this dress in early Jan and was waiting for an occasion to post it, when I saw the pics I thought today is the perfect day to post this red dress.

I am not a person who would usually wear red, so Valentine’s Day would have been a good occasion/reason to wear red.

I love how this dress fits snuggly, ends over the knees giving it a pencil skirt look and has pockets at the front. It is super comfy and figure flattering.

I paired it with pearl necklace, gold cuff and midi rings. Black gladiator heels with gold studs to complete the look.

OOTD: Pink Princessy Gown, Sky High Heels

Hey guys,

This is a random OOTD I had to show you guys. I got this pretty pink evening gown from Buyingdress and I paired it with my highest heels coz obviously this gown is long. The heels are 6 inches 😀 I am glad there is platform of 2 inches which makes them comfortable and also they are very light weight.

I love the nude color, strappy design and the tassels behind.

Also the gown has this nice silver detailing on the neck and front, but its not over the top. I wore this diamond in rose gold set along with it and some pearl + diamante bracelets.

OOTD: Black Lace Maxi Dress

Hey guys,

So I had ordered for a beautiful beige lace maxi dress with a deep V back for my DJ function which is on 4th Dec but it has still not arrived :/

Hence,my 2nd option is this pretty black lace dress. This dress is perfect for a party, including a formal party, or a late night event, etc. Its formal and pretty at the same time.

The length needs some altering I believe, would check.

I paired it with my favourite Colorbar Darkened Summer Lipstick in Wild Mauve and gold dangling earrings with hair on one side. I intend to go for side swept curls for the function.

I don’t usually like cap sleeves coz it makes the arms look fatter which is also my problem area.

A gold cuff in one hand and black gold studded gladiator heels to finish the look. I might go for my Dune London shoes, still thinking. I plan to change into my red polka dots Wills Lifestyle knee length dress (which I had shared on my Instagram and twitter) later while dancing 😀

OOTD: Matching Separates

Hey guys,

I am back with an OOTD. This time with matching separates. I have worn crop top before HERE and HERE. But never a matching separates pair.

This time its a crop top and a skirt in floral mint. Loved the pink and white roses print on the pale green.Since the top has a zip upto the top,I skipped a necklace. Only accessorized it with a gold hollow design cuff and gold midi rings. And my new favourite studded tan ankle strap block heels.

 

I think a size bigger would have been more comfortable but it was out of stock and I felt like trying this. Though it fits well, I think I need to loose a bit more for this :p

OOTD: Orange Bag, Black Studded Pumps

Hey everyone,

This time around I planned my OOTD keeping my new orange bag and my favourite black studded pumps in focus. I have hardly accessorized.

The top has dull gold thread and pearl detailing on the neck, so I skipped a neck piece and went for simple pearl Aldo studs.

I only wore a Daniel Wellington watch, so the full focus is on my bright bright orange bag and the lovely shoes.

 

This crocodile print bag is exactly the same as the one I have in black and you guys have seen in most of my OOTD’s and which I absolutely love. (I had shared it HERE as a part of my wishlist.)

And the new Dune London black studded pumps are also my latest love. (Just look at them! I can adore them forever) Dune London has a store in Palladium in Mumbai for those who are interested.

I also added this beige light drawstring trench, which is perfect for fall/winter and places like Mumbai where it is not too cold.

Loving my skin these days! I have absolutely no makeup/base on the face except my Ruby Woo 😀

Haul-Pink Rhinestone Pumps,Champagne Clutch

Hey guys,

I bought a new pair of shoes and a clutch sometime back,those of you who follow me on Instagram must have already seen these.

I got these pretty soft pink rhinestone detailing pumps. How gorgeous do they look?! Right out of a princess fairytale, I can think of Cinderella 😀

I think I might wear them with my evening gown for my DJ (which I am still searching for :/)

Though the heel height is high, the front platform is high too and that makes them quite comfortable unlike those steep heels with no front platform.

Pink and silver combo is one of my favourites.

I also got this champagne clutch which has both gold and silver detailing too. I love the thread beading and sequin work. This would work with many of my Indian outfits too.

Both are from Dressv. I also have another pair of n*de and blue peep toe pumps and a studded black clutch from Dressv. They have a lot of bridal stuff but mostly Christian ones,beautiful gowns too! But I like the shoes and clutches though, some are super pretty!

Hey everyone,

Back with an OOTD. I love pleated maxi skirts. Today I am showing you guys two ways to wear a maxi skirt.

Wear it as a skirt (duh!)

OR

Wear it as a dress!

Yes, you can wear it as a strapless dress, and maybe add a nice belt like I have done here and a vest, coat,blazer,etc. Looks chic. Plus one outfit,two uses 😉

I have paired it with a plain white linen shirt and belted it to bring it together, and a blue statement necklace.

And in the second way, I wore it as a dress with a Moschino dupe statement belt and a black half fur black vest. A gold statement necklace and a spiked bracelet.

Wore this n*de and blue colorblock peep toe heels.

OOTD: Black on Black

Hey guys,

An OOTD from Goa this time. As many of you know, I was in Goa last to last weekend, we clicked some amazing pics at The Zuri White Sands Resort & Casino which is located in Varca, Goa. Zuri also has a private beach and all you see is white sand, literally.

I wore this outfit for the masterclass hosted by Miss Malini on the first day. Its a black crochet lace top paired with a black tulle skirt and combined them with a broad metallic black and gold belt.

I love tulle skirts and was quite excited to have this, but unfortunately the layers were few and the puff not as much as I would have liked 🙁

Anyhoo, I paired this outfit with my new n*de strappy heels from Zara (Love them!) and a black and gold studded clutch. A gold metallic statement necklace and a gold and black spike bracelet completed the whole look.
