Ok..so as per the claims the serum makes the skin more even and radiant and the cream hydrates and lightens (Not a fan of the lightening claim anyway)

I have been using a combination of these both from quite some time..2-3 weeks around. Both come in a pink packaging..the cream is a normal tub packaging and the serum is twist and pump out dispensor packaging..a few faced issues with the pump..so please check that if possible.

Light Creme is light pink in color.It has a floral baby powder kinda smell. Definitely tightens the skin. The cream provides some basic moisturisation..but also gives a tightening effect to the face. As the name suggests, its quite light in texture and smooth to apply.The serum is very light in texture and feels siliconey on application.. but quite water like and no greasiness or stickiness with it.

It gives a cooling minty sensation for a few minutes. I like how the skin looks smoother and fresh the next morning..I use this serum overnight and have been loving the effect on the face next morning.

I am not sure of the brightening and lightning claim..but it did help me reduce my tan a bit. I was also carrying it for my Beauty and The Blogger Show..and even with 3 hours of sleep, skin looked decent enough on all 3 days thanks to this!

It was travel friendly and easy to carry around..only the serum requires quite a few pumps at times for the product to dispense.

The cream is decently priced and it would last long too..the serum is priced a little on the higher side and would never be able to see the quantity left too.

I am not much a fan of the Light Creme..its a basic regular moisturising cream..but I quite loved the serum. Would definitely recommend the serum.

TRESemmé Split Remedy is a salon quality formulation with Amino-vitamin blend and helps rescue up to 96% of split ends with use of shampoo and conditioner in just three washes for healthy-looking, smooth hair ready to style.

How does it work?  The Innovative range contains Silicone, amino-vitamin blend and conditioning ingredients. All these ingredients from the formulation work in synergy to reduce split ends of hair fibre. The Silicone in the formulation has ability to form a lubricating layer on hair fibre. I had been trying out the TRESemme Split End Remedy  Shampoo and Conditioner as I had mentioned HERE and had even shared on my facebook..from about 2-3 weeks..

And now its time to review them. First of, I am loving the bright green  colored packaging..the smell and feel of this shampoo and conditioner is totally professional salon kinds.

Both the shampoo and conditioner are white in color with normal texture..not too runny..have a nice fresh smell..that stays throughout the day! They have a easy flip cap packaging.

The shampoo lathers amazingly well..you do not need lots of it..it foams well, cleanses well..and gets rid of all the dirt and oil in a jiffy.

The conditioner is not the heavy moisturising kinds..but does its job well..I work it especially towards the end..since its meant to mend split ends..

If you read the ingredients carefully, you would see Keratin, Bition, Vitamin E, Vitamin B3, Vitamin C, etc which are all very good for the hair. It definitely gave me healthy looking, smooth hair as per their claims!

Now, I do not have much of an split ends problem, so cannot comment on the difference it makes. But what, I love about this range is, it is super light weight and gives my hair the shine and bounce..even the next day..I love how my hair feels after using this! No frizz, no weighing down, no greasiness. Only nice smelling, shiny, bouncy hair.

You can see my love for this range and how much my hair loves it.. my hair stays well behaved with this range.

I surely recommend this range..its my current Holy Grail! Highly recommend it.

Loved the pretty pink box..same as we had in April.

In this month’s box, I received..

  • Roberto Cavalli ‘Nero Assoluto’ EDT (A woody, floral fragrance-feminine,sensual and sophisticated. Loved it!)- 1.2ml
  • Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum– small ampoulle
  • Eminence Organics Tropical Vanilla Day Cream Sunscreen (SPF 32)- 3ml
  • H2O+ Targeted Hand & Nail Cream– 30ml
  • ZA True White Cleansing Foam– 5g

Ok, first of all, there were supposed to be makeup products in the previous box too and in this box too..none yet :/ Secondly, as I mentioned in my previous April box too, I am bored of this small sachet samples..except the H2O Hand and Nail Cream, none is decent sized. 2-3 ml stuff are not a good enough quantity to judge anything at all! Even if you like a product and would like to repurchase a bigger one, how would you judge if there is any change at all on your skin with a 2-3 ml product you used once!

Not very happy with the sample sizes except for the H2O one..the Roberto Cavalli perfume vial is good..smells amazing..totally me!

I feel My Envy Box should buck up now..and give us something good or exciting..its soon turning out to be one of those usual beauty boxes with 1-2ml samples. And definitely waiting for some good makeup things in the future boxes..atleast one item per month..since its being promised from the last 2 months..

Overall, again a mixed box..for me, only  2 products worked here,the perfume vial and H20 hand and nail cream..not very happy with the rest.

So we had Daniel Bauer with us at the American Swan Beauty & The Blogger..he demonstrated a few hairstyles on 3 of the models..and also gave us some tips and tricks..

Here my model Priyanka gets soft curls done with a pouf..a very easy and quick DIY hairstyle.

I have a step by step GIF for you guys..

So, basically what the hairstylist did was :

1. Created a pouf and pinned the hair behind with the help of bobby pins.

2. Curled the loose ends with a curling wand.

3. Kept a bang ahead to soften the face.

4. Set it with the TRESemme hold spray.

The Final Look

All theseTRESemme products are going to be soon launched in India..I can’t wait to lay my hands on few of these..especially the hold spray.

If you have shoulder length hair, this is a super easy quick hairstyle you can try out.

So if you read my post about the American Swan Beauty & The Blogger, you must have read we stayed at the Corinthians Resort & Club in Pune..And I wanted to share my experience of living in this beautiful space for 4 days..I am so going to miss all this..it was super fun..more so coz of this location.

They have three types of rooms: Deluxe, Superior and Suite..we were in the Deluxe room and each room was shared by two..so I was put up with one other blogger Shanaya.

They have 5 restaurants/cafes in the hotel: Salsa Global (Mediterranean and Indian cuisine), Pyramisa Multi- Cuisine and Resto Bar (multi-cuisine all day dining resto-bar), Oceanus Poolside Cafe, Oasis Pool Bar (in-pool, swim-up bar) and The 1st Brewhouse (They have freshly brewed fine quality Beer…and Apple Cider Beer is supposed to be the best. I liked it, did not love it though.). Every year they have a Beer Marathon 😀 So, beer lovers in Pune or those visiting Pune, you know where to head 😉

The hotel is super huge for all sorts of indoor (The Grand Ball Room, Alexandria,etc) and outdoor (Pantheon, Colosseum,etc) events. We were put up at Alexandria for the makeup and hair and nail art, etc and even our lunch and dinner..so we were practically living at Alexandria the whole 4 days. We partied at the 1st Brewhouse once and out outdoor adventure round was at the Cricket pitch and we had our grand finale at an open ground.

Alexandria is right above the pool area..so we could see people enjoying the music, DJ and having fun.

We had basic things for lunch and dinner but still every single time no subzi or dal or dessert was repeated..a different variety each time..and it tasted good too.

The pools and landscapes were beautiful and lush..you feel like just sitting and watching it all day long. My stay was pretty comfortable and memorable..I am surely coming back again..and would recommend it to all my friends too..

So, the 1st day we left at 6am early morning on Monday for Pune..and the bus broke down on the Expressway 15 minutes before Lonavala and we were stranded..we had to wait there for another bus to arrive..and our whole schedule was running late then onwards..the profile shoot  of bloggers which was to happen on the 1st day was postponed to next day morning since it was to be done in daylight and outdoors.

So we got all decked up and ready..and then went off to sleep, after shooting 1-2 videos that is,for the hairstyle and makeup :p Nothing productive. Next day morning we got our profile shoots done and then  had to change for the 2nd round..the models had a swim wear round and later they had a task which was diving into the pool and getting a black bag with colored placards inside..and it was timed..so the top 3 girls who were quickest won points.

The bloggers were given a bag each and had colored bands inside..and the models were holding the placards they fetched from the pool..and each model was paired with a blogger by matching the colors of the bands and placards.

I got teamed up with Priyanka Deb Choudary..and our team was Team NLM (which stands for my blog, as we got only 5 minutes to think of a name..I could’nt think of anything!) She also came 3rd in the swimming round and that won our team some brownie points.

And we got a task of clicking 3 pictures of the models..The Oomph Look, The Wet Look and the Whacky Selfie of both..and all of us bloggers had basically turned into Atul Kasbekar clicking the models in their bikinis and sexy poses! 😀 Our team won the Best Click in The Wet Look category.

Next day we had an adventure round..where there was a series of tasks to do..like a relay..one by the blogger and one by the model..basically team effort. I got bruised knees coz of the tyre task and I was badly tanned/burned (4 shades darker) coz of shooting in the sun continuously for 6-7 hours.We were not in the Top 3 in that sadly 🙁

We had Daniel Bauer for TRESemme who had come down to meet all of us..and even demonstrated 3 hairstyles on 3 models. It was followed by a Hollywood night..where we just partied and let our hair down at The 1st Brewhouse at the Corinthians Pune. I also got the Most Stylish tag by VJ Anusha and a compliment from Cyrus! Made my night :p

Next day we had  the Talent Round and the Grand Finale. Lauren Gottlieb, brand ambassador of American Swan also joined us on the last day. We had some time to prepare for the Talent Round where we had 2-3 minutes to do anything we would like..unfortunately my model Priyanka fell ill after the adventure round and we could not prepare anything due to lack of time and we just sang..and we knew we had not put in the required efforts, so were not in the Top 3 in that too.

This was followed by the Grand Finale and announcement of the top 3 teams for on ground activities..we were 5th on the basis of on ground activities due to the adventure round and the talent round.

But, on the basis of social media, I was in the 2nd position throughout on all 4 days. Now, once all the videos are uploaded on Youtube..it also depends on youtube engagement. So, let’s see how things work out. Thanks a lot for all your love and support throughout and I hope it continues later too 🙂

I loved the team and crew..very friendly and caring..we all hardly slept 2-3 hours in a day and were shooting continuously and the crew might be sleeping even lesser..still we all had so much fun! A nice experience to have..all the makeup and hair by Lakme and TRESemme, getting decked up before every shoot, the touch ups, the shoots, the OTF’s, everything..I am looking forward to the videos now..I hope they come out good..since it was the first time for me, to be on camera like this!

Avon already has Glimmersticks eyeliners and they are pretty known and famous and quiet good..I had reviewed the shade Nocturnal HERE.

They have launched these Glimmersticks Ultra Brights now..but not sure why the prices increased so much from Rs.259/- directly to Rs.399/- though they are mostly on offers..

Glimmersticks are generally metallic shades or ones with shimmer..these are matte but bright..

It goes on smooth and is quite creamy..no tugging or pulling..but requires layering for the intensity..atleast 2 swipes..not multiple though. Stays on for 6-7 hours before fading off.

Purple Punch is a matte bluish purple shade..

Pros:

1. Pretty brights.
2. Smudge proof and does not spread around.
3. Stays for a good 6-7 hours.
4. Mechanical and retractable..so no wastage.
5. Matching shade at the end to identify.

Cons:

1. Needs to be layered twice for the intensity.
2. Only available through an Avon rep.

Overall I liked this shade..but would have loved it more had the pigmentation been better..the previous Glimmersticks were more pigmented..or may be its just this shade..I am not sure..but definitely worth a try..especially on offers.

I attended the Jabong NBAStore.in launch event today..you guys must have seen the pics on my Instagram..

The event kicked off with a group dance and those girls were fab ! Followed by Yannick Colaco, Praveen Sinha and Abhishek Bachchan talking more about Jabong and NBA and the whole launch in India..how Indian audience will get NBA products now delivered right at their doorstep with just a click..Abhishek even scored some baskets..and he looks much better and smarter in person..I was amazed 😀

Products will be integrated into NBA television programs airing in India such as NBA Inside Stuff; NBA players and legends will participate in Google Hangouts; and an NBAStore.in section will be created within NBA Jam, the league’s college-based basketball and entertainment touring property which will travel to 16 cities later this year.

Fans that purchase merchandise will have a chance to win authentic autographed NBA jerseys as well as tickets to NBA regular season games, NBA All-Star and The Finals.

This marks the NBA’s fifth international online store since 2012 and sales for these destinations are up more than 100 percent this year. The online stores include NBATienda in Mexico, LojaNBA.com in Brazil, NBAstore.eu in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and NBA.tmall.com in China. Overall, more than 30 percent of NBA merchandise revenue is generated internationally.

In India, the NBA has hosted more than 500 events in 10 cities since 2008, opened its first office in Mumbai in 2011 and nearly 30 NBA players and legends have conducted basketball events in India.

I attended the event on 2nd May at the Palladium Hotel..

The #SeasonsMustHave were the Strawberry Body Butter, Strawberry Body Mist and Strawberry Shower gel..basically the entire Strawberry Body Collection range..and Jacqueline is the #BeautywithHeart in case you were wondering about those hash tags..

She wore a white Drashta Sarvaiya pencil skirt with a crop top and pink and white rose motifs with nude heels and pretty earrings…her makeup was perfect..and she looked fab..her lipstick was quite like Revlon Matte Balm in Sultry.
