I have reviewed many Asus phones including the tab before, read all HERE. I have to say this Zenfone 3 is the most exciting one, coz of the camera!

The Zendesign and front and rear 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass makes it look elegant and classy (also scratch free) and the design has won a few awards already!

Absolutely love the sleek design and the metal outer frame, plus it is very light weight!

PixelMaster 3.0 packs a 16MP camera with the latest Sony® IMX298 sensor, six-element Largan lens with a large f/2.0 aperture, and subject-tracking TriTech auto-focus for variable distance and lighting clarity in just 0.03 seconds. Optical and electronic image stabilization for blur-free shots and video, color correction sensor for true color photography, and true 4K UHD video recording.

The TriTech ultra fast 0.03s auto focus is the first of its kind and exclusive only to Zenfone 3. For the first time in the smartphone world, the engineers at Asus have combined three focusing technologies — laser, phase detection and continuous auto-focus — into one harmonious system. This powerhouse processor has revolutionary 14nm Fin Field Effect Transistors (FinFETs) to deliver full-on performance while reducing power consumption by 35%. World’s First 14nm Snapdragon processor with with 64-Bit Octa-Core CPU @2.0Ghz : S625 is much more powerful than previous generation thanks to new full 8 core @ 2.0Ghz. 2016 S625 is around the same level of performance of 2015 S800 series. 14nm is the most advance process technology in 2016. The camera of course comes with all the classic Asus features like HDR, Super HDR, Panorama, Selfie Panorama, Sepia, Beautification, Time Lapse, Slow Motion, etc. It also has an in built editor with various filters/frames and some basic editing options.

The 16MP rear camera is super sharp and clear, I have clicked some pictures and they are all raw/unedited, I have only resized them as each picture was around 3MB!

Also used the front 8MP camera for some selfies. Front camera also has Beautification, HDR Pro mode, etc. I have clicked in normal Auto mode, Beautification mode and in HDR Pro.

Game Genie, Sonic Master, Finger print sensor are some of the other fabulous features to look at!

All these features and specs definitely deserve a price much higher, but 21999 is a steal for Asus Zenfone 3! For years she had been targeted for two things. One, her weight. Two, her questionable and distasteful sense of raiment. Never did she buckle down once for either. Over the years, not only has Parineeti Chopra’s weight has become the talking point of Tinsel-town (dare you say that she’s out of shape. The vivacious lady looks drop-dead gorgeous in her chiselled avatar and what better than she working out for what she wanted instead of positing excuses?) but also her sartorial sense has ameliorated. We see Chopra Junior experiment and hit the bullseye quite often these days. So, let’s have a rundown of some of the Best Off-screen Looks of Parineeti Chopra 🙂

1. ON ‘LOOK WHO’S TALKING’- Swaddled in a black top from Zara and a red paint splatter skirt from The Source, Chopra Junior shot for an episode of Look Who’s Talking. She accessorised her look with a jeweled statement necklace and sported a pair of gorgeous Jimmy Choos. This look surely gets a thumbs up, Parineeti!

2. BOHEMIAN VIBES AT A STORE LAUNCH– Clad in denim shorts with a pink tee and floral cape that Parineeti teamed with nude wedges and multi-layered neck pieces, the Ishaqzaade actress made heads turn for all the right reasons at the H&M store launch in Noida. Not a lot many women can carry a bohemian look and Parineeti clearly does not fall in that category. The chirpy Chopra looks effortlessly sassy and easy on the eyes.

3. IN AN ANARKALI- Swathed in a beige anaarkali with the picture-postcard locales of Jaipur in the backdrop, Parineeti looks gorgeous minus gaudy (and that’s difficult to look as anarkalis tend to be opulent hence, chances of one looking gaudy are high if not carried/accessorised well). The young ‘Dawat-e- Ishq’ heroine delineates exquisiteness here, doesn’t she?

4. IN MUSKAAN GOSWAMI– Swathed in a blazer dress by Intrinsic by Muskaan Goswami, Parineeti Chopra dazzled on the red carpet of the HT Style Awards. One usually doesn’t go minimalistic when attending red carpet events that showcase more of bling and glitz; however Chopra Junior doesn’t go by the book. And who doesn’t love that rebellious streak of hers?

5. GOING PLAYFUL- Clad in a burgundy embellished blouse from Kanika Goyal that was paired with high-waisted shorts, Parineeti attended an event for a brand. Accessorising with caged heels and an oversized hat, she redefined the art of comfy dressing. We are swooning, Chopra Junior.

6. ON THE SETS OF KBC 8- Swaddled in a peplum style blue dress to promote Daawat-E- Ishq on Kaun Banega Crorepati, Parineeti topped the dress with a chunky statement necklace by The Source. She rounded off her look with black booties by Steve Madden. Now that is called chic dressing!

7. IN A TAREK SINNO GOWN- Swathed in a flared embellished gown by Tarek Sinno for the Zee Cine Awards 2016, the effervescent actress accessorised her look with petite baubles by Farah Khan Ali and shoes by Heel & Buckle. Nude makeup along with a braided hairdo completed her ethereal look.

Sometimes, a part two becomes indispensable say- in case of your favourite flick that left you wanting for more after it ended and the same can be extended to admiring the looks of men across our border 🙂 With Top 10 most good looking Pakistani men, I brought to you the most famed, easily-identifiable and unquestionably charismatic Pakistani men- a great many of whom you would have feasted your eyes to on TV or in flicks. With Top 10 Most Good-Looking Pakistani Men: Part 2, here’s to those heartthrobs who are just as good as the previous ones though not as easily identifiable to an average Indian “yet”. Shall we begin pampering our eyes then?

1. EMMAD IRFANI- *Drool *Sigh *Slobber that’s what this 36 year old model from Peshwar is desirability-personified. With features chiselled to perfection and piercing gaze that sets one motionless, here is to this hot property who is every inch a Greek God.

2. MOHSIN ABBAS HAIDER- A gifted singer who’s foraying into Lollywood (Pakistan’s film industry) with “Teri Meri Love Story”, Mohsin is the classic example of the adage- Where there is a will, there is a way. Faced with countless obstacles in the inception of his journey in the field of professional arts, he persevered and how! Thankfully, he did else we wouldn’t have treated our ears to his soulful a capellas. ‘Zameen-O- Zaman” and “Wo Su-e- lalazar’ being my earworms. Not to forget, doesn’t have typical chocolate boy looks? He’s married so, kindly do not set on hypothetical voyages

3. SAMI KHAN- A thorough gentleman at first sight, Sami Khan set his foot in the Pakistani entertainment industry in the year 2004 but it was in 2011 that he bagged his first Best Actor award at the 16 th PTV Awards. Doesn’t he look devastatingly good-looking?

4. ADEEL HUSSAIN- There’s a glint of mischief in the eyes of this innocent-looking 38 year old Pakistani actor- Adeel Hussain who is best known for his roles in Daam, Mata-e- Jaan Hai Tu, Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai and Mera Naseeb. His performance in the recent Pakistani flick “Ho Mann Jahan” earned him a lot of fanfare and rightly so.

5. AFFAN WAHEED- Cuteness is appositely his epithet. Watching him with sheep’s eyes as he recites soul-stirring shayaris in Urdu would melt you without a doubt! 31 year old Affan Waheed is best known for his roles in Main Bushra and Aik Pal.

6. SHEHROZ SABZWARI- The doting father of Noorain and husband of the chirpy Syra Yousuf, Shehroz Sabzwari is your typical high-school crush who’d bring back memories of those days in the twinkling of an eye. Best known for his role in the film Khulay Aasman Ke Neechay directed by Javed Sheikh, he is textbook definition of a chocolate boy.

7. SIKANDER RIZVI- A man’s desirability hits roof top if he happens to concoct lip-smacking cuisines. And if that man is inherently blessed in the looks department, the combo becomes fatal. Sikander Rizvi is a Pakistani film actor and chef, known for playing the lead role in the romantic comedy Dekh Magar Pyar Se along with Humaima Malick. Not only that, he owns a café in Karachi which makes him don another hat besides being an actor!

8. MOHIB MIRZA- It’s by a quirk of fate that this debonair actor forayed into acting. As a student, he ran out of funds to pay the fees for the nest semester, so he along with this friends began a theatre company og their own called “Dramybazz” . They wrote and staged a play “One way ticket”, which ran in PACC for 7 days receiving an overwhelming response. Mohib, as a result earned thrice the amount he needed to fund the next semester. Soon TV followed and recently he was seen as the male protagonist in the Pakistani flick “Bachana” opposite Sanam Saeed which garnered rave reviews.

9. SHAHZAD NOOR- A charismatic Pakistani model and actor- Shahzad Noor won two Best Model Male awards at 10th Lux Style Awards and 14th Lux Style Awards respectively. He received three consecutive nominations at Hum Awards as Best Model Male, winning one.

10. USMAN MUKHTAR- A Pakistani director, producer, and actor rolled into one- Usman Mukhtar is one of the few independent directors based out of Islamabad, Pakistan. Doesn’t he remind you strongly of Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Caribbean? Captain Jack Sparrow, we are swooning already.

I am very glad we do, coz there were just 1-2 sanitary napkin brands available widely in India and one being the most famous, had the largest share in the market. Hi guys,

Today I am listing my top favourite blushes, 5 out of 6 are matte and perfect for day time. Only the Jordana one has shimmer but that is not much visible on the skin.

Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in Peachy Sweetie

It’s a light dusty rose pink and completely matte. The most affordable blush in the market and is pigmented enough! I recommend this to everyone, even if you are not a blush person and would like to own just one and not invest much in it, you can try this.

L’Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush of Light in Fuchsia Flush

Another super gorgeous hot pink shade! This is very bright and pigmented and you have to go with a very light hand when using this. It is priced at INR 850 but will last you forever. Absolutely love the packaging.

Marks & Spencer Limited Blusher in Damson

My go-to everyday blush, this is a light n*de mauve kind of shade, you can go lightly with this or layer for more intensity. The most natural looking blush I own

Jordana Blush in Sunlit Bronze

Again a very nice, everyday neutral shade. It’s a light brown with some shimmer. Very pigmented and use it with a light hand again as otherwise it might look muddy.

Sigma Blush in Cheeky

It’s a muted rosy brown shade, perfect for medium to fair skin tones.

MAC Bite of an Apple Blush

My most favourite blush ever, it’s a medium coral pink and looks beautiful on fair to medium skin tones. This will even show up well on deeper skin tones.

Indian Women in RIO Olympics 2016

What is trending everywhere these days?? Well, may be all of you might be having numerous answers but I am sure majority of you will say RIO Olympics.

The 2016 Summer Olympics or RIO Olympics is an International multi-sport event being hosted by Brazil. Athletes of different sports from all over the world are competing against each other. And by God’s grace some other sport in India other than cricket has become the talk of the town and the highlight in RIO Olympics for India are the women athletes. They are large number of women athletes representing our country and making us proud. But we are very sure that many of you might not know them. So, here out of my overdose of patriotic feeling below is the list of Indian women athletes at Rio Olympics who are raising not only the Indian flag high but also our pride too –

1. Deepika Kumari: She is representing our country in Women’s Individual Archery who is currently ranked at world no. 5 and is a former world no. 1. She has also been a proud recipient of Arjuna award in the year 2012. Deepika with 640 points has secured the 20th position.

2. Aditi Ashok: She created history by becoming first and youngest Indian to win the Lalla Aicha tour School hence obtaining her 2016 ladies PGA tour card. At Rio she is currently at the third round of competition where she is just 4 strokes away of making it to the top.

3. Dipa Karmakar: Hailing from a Bengali family she was serious about her passion in gymnastics right since the age of 8. She gained limelight at 2014 commonwealth games where she won bronze for India. At Rio 2016, she attained fourth position with an overall score of 15.066.

4. Sakshi Malik – Born at Rohtak, she is a live example of making it big inspite of being from a small town. At the age of 12, she thought seriously about wrestling by drawing inspiration from her grandfather. She became the first women wrestler to win a bronze for India.

5. PV Sindhu – She hails from a family of professional volleyball players who have been a recipient of many prestigious awards. Do you know she used to travel a distance of 56 Km. every day to practice? Well, as they say the victory tastes sweet only when you have made serious efforts. We can’t stop congratulating her on being the first women to win individual silver.

6. Lalita Babbar: The 27 year old long distance runner became the talk of the town when she won Mumbai Marathon for the 3rd time making it hat-trick. At Rio 2016, she finished at the 10th position in the final race.

We have mentioned a few women only here who made a commendable performance at Rio but there are many other who also made our country proud at the biggest sporting event. All these women are making each and every Indian proud at Rio Olympics and we wish all of them ’All the Best’ and hope they add will many more feathers to the Olympic medals cap of our country.

Must Have Makeup Products for Monsoon

Hi guys,

India is one country which has three seasons and rains/monsoon are the most integral middle season. We love it, hate it, but we cannot ignore it. And cannot not get drenched once, come what may. Because whenever you carry an umbrella, it will never rain while when you don’t as it’s very sunny, it will surely rain! Murphy’s laws :/

Anyhoo, since we cannot avoid it, we should be well prepared for it. Your makeup needs some change too in the monsoon, as you don’t want heavy foundations or makeup meltdown in monsoon.

Primer, makeup setting spray and waterproof makeup is the solution against monsoon 😀 Here are few of my makeup must haves for monsoon season:

1. Primer: A primer is very essential as it not only smoothens the pores and make your foundation glide seamlessly, it also holds your makeup in place in sweat & humidity. I am currently loving the Sephora Smoothing Primer and Make Up For Ever Step 1 Smoothing Skin Equalizer.

2. Concealer/BB cream: Now you do not need heavy foundation in monsoon as it’s bound to be humid and sticky too. Concealers/tinted moisturisers/BB creams are your best friend in monsoon. I love the Ponds BB Cream and the Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Concealer. These are my go to, keep the makeup in place and are not at all heavy. The concealer also instantly brightens my under eyes.

3. Cream Blushes/Highlighters/Cheek & Lip Stains: Go for cream to powder finish products in monsoon or tints. They are not too heavy, give a soft and dewy finish and the color/tint stays put through the day. I love the Kryolan Lip & Cheek Stain, Faces Ultime Pro Metalliglow Highlighter in Champagne, The Body Shop Cheek & Lip Stain

4. Eyebrow pencil/pomade: If you use eyeshadow to set your eyebrows, you will need to set them with a wax or they would obviously wash away in monsoon. I would suggest using a pencil/pomade as they are more waxy and keep the eyebrows in place. I like the Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper

5. Waterproof Eyeliner & Mascara: Need I say more for this? You don’t want to end up with panda eyes, having eyeliner & mascara all around 😀 Maybelline Magnum Barbie is completely water proof!

6. Matte Liquid Lipsticks/Lip Crayons: Creamy lipsticks would bleed and be all over your face, if in case you get drenched. Matte liquid lipsticks are the safest bet and also they are very much in trend these days! I love Chambor Extreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipsticks & Colorbar Kiss Proof Liquid Lipsticks. Also Matte Lip crayons are a good option, I like the Maybelline Lip Gradation.

7. Loose Powder: Compact powder would slip in humid climate, but a loose mineral powder works well for monsoon. Also if you have baked your face and especially undereyes, it will stay put through the day! I am currently loving the Faces Mineral Loose Powder.

8. Makeup Setting Spray: And to set it all, a makeup setting spray. My favourite is the Colorbar Stay the Day Finishing Mist.

9. Bright Nail Paints: Wear all your reds, oranges, blues. Bright nails and monsoon go hand in hand.

So yes, with these changes in your makeup, you are all set to face the monsoon!

OPPO F1s Selfie Expert First Impressions, Specs, Pictures

If you follow my blog, you know I have reviewed the OPPO F1 which was launched in Feb HERE. And then later in April, I went to Delhi for the OPPO F1 Plus Selfie Expert phone launch and also reviewed the F1 Plus HERE, comparing it with Samsung Galaxy A7.

Now OPPO has launched the F1s which is already available for pre-booking. I am trying out the device since about a week now and here are my thoughts on it.

It’s a 5.5 inch screen normal sized smartphone, it’s not as thin and light as the F1 Plus, but not very heavy too, 160g to be precise. It has 3075mAh battery which is pretty good and lasts through whole day in one full charge!

It comes with earphones, charger, USB cord and a transparent plastic back case.

Of course, the phone does have all the excellent camera features which all OPPO phones come with. From Selfie Panoroma to HDR and Expert Mode.

I have clicked this with the Expert Mode, Ultra HD Mode, HD Mode and the Normal mode. The Expert Mode lets you adjust the white balance, ISO and every other setting. If you are a professional photographer, you can change those every single time before clicking. Ultra HD gives brighter and clearer pictures. HD mode is true to color and will give you super sharp pictures. They are heavy in size and resolution. HD mode is my favourite, and the Normal mode clicks pretty good pictures too. They have an inbuilt editor which lets you quickly edit pictures.

Also my favourite Beautify 4.0 mode, it makes your selfies look flawless! And also natural at the same time. I have taken this picture with the normal mode and the Beautify mode. Mind you, I only have concealer and some powder used here on my skin, and the Beautify mode gives me flawless skin as if I have full makeup on. I love the fact that it brightens and sharpens my eyes.

Both front and rear camera clicks excellent pictures even in low light and night time, compared to all other expensive phones in the segment. I had compared the F1 Plus with Samsung Galaxy A7 in my previous blog post. As you can see in the pictures above, it concentrates light on the subject and dims the background, so the subject is well lit!

0.22s Fingerprint Sensor

Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer. The finger print sensor is unbelievably fast! Colours are very bright and sharp and pictures come true to colour.

Monsoon Getaway with American Tourister #PlanATomorrow

Hi Guys,

So I went for a really fun one day monsoon getaway last to last Saturday with American Tourister. We went to Khambale at Igatpuri which is about 3 hours from Mumbai.

The view on route itself was so beautiful, road trips during monsoons are absolutely amazing and a mesmerizing experience.

We left from Santacruz at around 7.30 am and reached Khambale at 11 am, we even took a break in between for some vada pav and chai, of course! You can’t miss that when travelling across Maharashtra 😀

After reaching Khambale, we hiked about 1-1.5 kms and most of it was pretty easy and smooth, except for one steep slope. But then that was the most fun part! Once we reached on top, the view was mesmerising. We just couldn’t stop clicking loads of pictures.

I took some panorama shots, boomerangs and a lot of Snapchat pictures and videos of course :p If you follow me on Snapchat (bhumika_t) or Instagram, you must have already seen those.

We enjoyed the view and sat there for some time. We even planted some trees. The entire area has tree plantations and there were quite a lot of pot plants kept aside, which you can plant anywhere you like.

I am glad that not only did we enjoy and had a fun trip, we even did something to give back to the nature. While we were coming back, it started raining heavily and we got completely drenched. Now you cannot go for a monsoon getaway and not get drenched, right? 😀 That was fun too, basically I enjoyed every part of the trip and Mother Nature made sure it included every element.

We left Khambale and had a proper Maharashtrian thali for lunch at a nearby restaurant. We were so hungry after the hike that the hot, yummy food seemed perfectly appetizing!

It was a fun day and I so needed a break, thank you American Tourister for this fun getaway.
