My Night Time Skincare Routine

Hi guys,

I am sharing my current nighttime skincare routine today.

Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil: It has Centella asiatica extracts, is super lightweight, non comedogenic, and melts makeup easily. Emulsifies well and leaves the skin soft and clean without any greasiness.

Youth To The People Kale + Green Tea Spinach Cleanser: This anti-oxidant rich cleanser also deep cleanses and removes your makeup, yet being gentle and non stripping. Foams well, vegan, love the pump dispenser, you can dispense the exact amount of product you need.

I do the 2nd cleanse with my Foreo LUNA, I have two and have been using them for over 5 years. Again thoroughly cleanses your pores, one charge of this lasts an entire year so it’s very handy plus it’s waterproof

Dr. Jart Cicapair Serum: Instantly repairs the barrier and soothes and calms the skin

Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Dark Spot Serum: This works fabulously on post-acne scars or any hyperpigmentation. It has viniferine, a Caudalie patented ingredient that is 62x more powerful than Vitamin C.

Dab to Fab Spark Change Moisturiser: A lightweight, airy Moisturiser that works for all skin types, soothes any kind of irritation or inflammation, and repairs, and strengthens the barrier.

Aminu Eye Serum: Truly one of its kind, I haven’t tried an eye serum/product like this. Enriched with ceramides, peptides, glucosides, caffeine complex, and a number of ingredients that work really well together for all sorts of eye issues from dark circles to puffiness to under-eye bags. Love the thin formulation, it is tested for safety and irritation.

D’You In My Defence Moisturiser: On days when I feel my skin needs a little extra hydration, I add this moisturiser as well. It has 1% pure ceramides that repair and strengthen the skin barrier. Also don’t forget your neck.

Laneige Lip Glowy Balm Gummy Bear– Enriched with shea and murumuru butter, it makes the lips pillowy soft, and plump. Plus super yumm🫰

I use a lot of hydrating and barrier-strengthening products in my skincare routine generally, actives I only keep for certain days or when needed.

Face Mists I am loving Currently

Loving using face mists throughout the day, and it’s important both in summers and winters because dehydration and dryness are two separate things. Dehydration is a lack of water and dryness is a lack of oil, in simple terms. And your skin needs both, hydration internally by drinking at least 2-3 litres of water daily and externally through soothing, calming mists. Of course, dryness is tacked with moisturisers.

Revoir skincare Re-plenish Hydrate and Glow: It has Glycerin, Panthenol ( Pro-Vitamin B5), fermented rice water, fruit extracts, ceramides, and blue light protection. The mist on this is super fine and just amazing!

Avene Thermal Spring Water: As the name suggests, it is thermal spring water. I know some of you would wonder why water, thermal spring water has a unique mineral composition that calms, soothes, and softens the skin. It balances the pH and reduces skin sensitivity, and redness, and the postbiotic microflora help with that. The finest spray and this is always my first skincare step. I have been using it on and off for years. Another similar one is Uriage Spring Water.

Akind beauty (By Mira Kapoor) Bounce Back Soothing and Purifying Toner: It has glycerin, bamboo water, soothing Centella, and antioxidant-rich Japanese Yuzu extracts. Apart from these, it has floral extracts, Niacinamide, and a low % of lactic acid which helps in improving skin’s NMF (Natural Moisturising Factors)

Forest Essentials Rosewater Facial Tonic Mist: This again is an oldie but a goodie. Just pure steam-distilled rose water that soothes, calms, and softens the skin.

Moody Derma Soothe Gentle Dew Face Mist: This one again is a barrier-repairing toner and has Rice water, Panthenol, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, and Ceramides. However the mist on this is harsh and throws water directly, I wish it was smoother because the product is really good.

A few months ago I came across Fiama Scents, recommended by a friend who couldn’t stop talking about the fact that with a slight rub on the skin, this body wash actually last for 7-8 hours.

I am a fan of both the Juniper Berries & Geranium and Mimosa & Neroli body washes (though I have to admit that the latter is my favourite) – It’s like magic, you just rub the skin and you smell fresh again, as the scent bubbles get activated.

So with a little bit of technology magic called fragrance encapsulation, the brand has hit the nail on the head providing me with the freedom to do as many things in a day without those momentary break to “check” oneself.

I love the bright red colour and the packaging as usual is very convenient, a press pump for shampoo and a cute squeezy round conditioner. The leave-in cream has a very unique and interesting shaped bottle.

I have tried all the hair care ranges in BBLUNT and I have to say, this one is my absolute favourite.

My hair feels super sleek and smooth, very straight and shiny after using this range and stays so for 3 days. The best part is there are absolutely no knots in the hair even after washing, when there are usually at least 2-3.

I don’t use heat everyday or colour or chemically treat my hair, but sometimes for shoots you do have to style or use heat and that does damage your hair eventually. Since the time I have started using this range, I see a visible difference in my hair health and it feels so smooth, that I just can’t stop touching my hair or running my fingers through it.

Shampoo foams well and the conditioner is rich enough to hydrate the ends, but not weigh the hair down. It also amazingly detangles. The leave-in adds to the shine and smoothness and nourishes the ends.

I am super impressed with this range, and honestly it delivers much more than I expected it to. Highly recommend the BBLUNT Repair Remedy Range, especially if your hair is coloured/chemically treated/dry/damaged.

I had an option to pick one lipstick shade from Disguise Cosmetics which is a 100% vegan and cruelty free brand and is toxin free, made with marula and avocado oil.

They had all basic shades from nude, red, pink, peach, etc. I went with the red one, it is definitely very creamy and is a little task to apply. I am so used to my matte lipsticks now. Creamy red lipsticks always transfer on my teeth and everywhere around, so I just avoid.

It is very pigmented though and once blotted, stays put through the day and is very comfortable on the lips. The stain stays even after lipstick wears off. The packaging is also quite nice, sturdy and bright.

I am also excited to try the Spa Ceylon Hand Cream, Global Beauty Secrets Turkish  Day Cream and the Bliscent Hair Pack. I am loving all the products and brands this time in Fab Bag.

OOTD: The Perfect Red Dress | Retro Glam

Hi guys,

I have been shooting and creating a lot of content and looks both for my blog and Instagram (@bhumika_t)

One of the outfits is this perfect red dress, I came across this on Everstylish.com

As soon as I saw this outfit, I knew I wanted to try it. It’s the perfect evening glam dress which is formal, not revealing, looks elegant and is not black. Black is the most common colour for formal evening dresses, followed by wine/burgundy and similar dark colours. This even, one though, bright red is perfect for a formal evening.

It has retro glam vibes and the off shoulder cross over silhouette, pencil fit with little flare at the bottom looks beautiful. I kept the jewellery minimum with just one gold choker and a tan leather watch.

For hair, I did overnight no heat curls for which I have recorded a video and will be uploading soon 🙂 I absolutely loved the results.

Makeup wise, a soft pink shadow on eyes and bright red lips complimented the outfit and hair well.

I didn’t want black shoes, could have gone for nude heels but I felt this rose gold pair looked perfect.
