Lending a playful twist to ‘sculpt’, Lakmé is all set to get you pouting this season, as it announces the launch of ‘Lakmé Absolute Lip Pout’ – the definitive beauty must have for Winter/Festive 2015. Inspired by all things playful, this launch will be brought to life by Lakmé’s new range of vivacious lip colors, presented in a crayon format, to bring out the playfulness in you.

This new range of six bright, matte lip-colors and ten crème shades will add the magic of high definition lips to your look. Arriving just in time for the festive season, Lakmé Absolute Lip Pouts in reds, oranges and pinks invite you to have lots of fun with your makeup while promising a high colour- pay-off and long-lasting pout in just one stroke!

Exploring the realm of fashion fantasy, the new Lakmé Lip Pouts will play muse to internationally acclaimed designer Gaurav Gupta at the Grand Finale of Lakmé Fashion Week – Winter/Festive 2015. With Gaurav infusing his fantastical energy into design, the Finale promises to be an exciting affair with imaginative sculpting as the dominant theme. Daniel Bauer, Lakmé makeup expert, will collaborate with Gaurav to craft stunning runway renditions of playful makeup looks on models with the Lakmé Absolute Lip Pout.


Speaking during the launch of this beauty statement, Purnima Lamba, Head – Innovations, Lakmé India said, “As an extension to the Sculpt statement we introduced last season, we now bring forth a playful assortment of lipsticks that are brighter and bolder than ever before. These high-definition matte and crème lip-colors are specially designed to let you play with your pout in an easy-to-use crayon format. The brand along with Gaurav Gupta, will once again reinvent the finale stage at the most anticipated show on 30th August at the Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015.

With 6 matte and 10 creme shades and in crayon form, it looks interesting. These are priced at Rs.650/- which is pretty decent. I am really looking forward to the matte shades coz I absolutely love the Lakme Absolute Sculpt High Definition Matte Lipsticks. Victorian Rose and Pink Fantasy look the most interesting to me.

This collection was launched for Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013 which just ended..I have swatches of the lipsticks and liners for you all..

Lipstick Shades: Plum Forever, Eternal Wine, Royal Rouge, Cosmo Passion, Glamour Daze, Deep Blush, Pacific Sunset

I have no idea why the names mentioned in the shade card of press note are different..or there are more shades..these were the ones in the new Royal Opulence Collection stand at the Lakme Pro Stylist Lounge..

The lipsticks are super smooth and quite good..few shades like Cosmo Passion, Glamour Daze and Pacific Sunset have shimmer..

There were three Absolute Shine Line liquid liners..in Brown Shimmer, Teal Shimmer and an interesting Pink Shimmer..there is one more beautiful Golden Shimmer..

I really liked the Brown shimmer…kinda bronzy..and pink shimmer is pink gold duochrome makes for a beautiful inner corner highlight..see this pic below..how amazingly it is used..and so is gold shimmer..

I really liked Royal Rouge and Deep Blush..and none of the shades are too bright or OTT..all are quite wearable..
