MRP: Rs.99/- for 1.7g

Ingredients:

I have too many of pinks..so peach is something I was eyeing as it would be different..And presently loving all peaches and corals..! But even this turned out to be more of a peachy pink on me..guess pinks wont leave me :p

Its a clear balm which changes color on your lips according to your body temperature.

The whole product…only this much qty and its thin too..:/

I love how it moisturises my lips and stays long, gives a nice peachy pink tint and keeps my lips soft..

Looks almost clear on hand

These are manufactured in Thailand.

Pros:

1. It does not feel waxy but at the same time moisturises my lips well and keeps them soft through the day.
2. I liked the soft peachy pink tint it gives my lips but then again would appear different on different people.
3. This can be layered to get the desired intensity of color.
4. The tint stays for a decent long time.
5. Economical at Rs.99/-
6. Available everywhere easily.
7. It has some nice oils and butters as seen in Ingredients and does not have parabens ! Still its shelf life is 2.5 years.

Cons:

1. The quantity is too less and with regular usage I guess this would last just a month.

No other cons..I am in love with this ! They should come up with more colors in this like a coral, orange, plum,etc..I think everyone should try this atleast one..its fun knowing what color it gives to our lips..

Last Forest: Honey and Bees Wax Lip Balm (Strawberry) Review

I had told you guys about Beaute Naturelle by Meg and their products here and also reviewed the Divine Vanilla Patchouli Soap here

Today I am reviewing the Last Forest lip balm..

What the Company claims: This one will stay on your lips for a long, long time. Made with beeswax harvested in the Nilgiri Forests, this lip balm combines fresh notes of strawberry with the moisturizing power of honey. Result? Luscious lips, whatever the hour or the season. (Size- 10g)

MRP: Rs.50/-

Ingredients: Bees wax, Olive oil, essence
This is an untinted waxy lip balm in a tub..though it has bees wax and natural ingredients and no parabens and stuff..I somehow am not able to bear the smell of it..This works nicely overnight in healing chapped lips…in day time stays for around 2 hrs and keeps lips hydrated. I also use it over dark lipsticks or matte lipsticks to lighten the color or add a shine.

Pros:

1. No parabens and all natural ingredients.
2. Economically priced.
3. Easy to carry around.
4. Lot of qty.

Cons:

1. I do not like the smell of it..
2. Not tinted.
3. Availability is an issue..you can buy it here
4. Tub packaging is unhygienic.

Overall works nicely..but I expect a better smelling lip balm..and preferably tinted too..

Would I buy it again: No..

Himalaya Natural Moisurising Lip Butter Review

What the Company claims: A unique and luxurious blend of exotic butters that provides nourishing care, keeping your lips supple, smooth and healthy all day long.

Ingredients Include:
Cocoa butter contains Vitamin E that soothes and hydrates, preventing your lips from moisture loss.
Sal butter moisturizes and softens lips.
Kokum butterhelps prevent lips from chapping.
Mango butter rejuvenates the skin and helps minimize lip wrinkles.

Use Directions: Apply evenly and liberally on your lips, as often as needed

MRP: Rs.125/- for 10g

Its a normal plain looking thick butter..it melts on the contact of skin and spreads smoothly on the lips. It has super yummy cocoa butter smell…Its one of the most moisturising product ever..makes and keeps lips super soft. My upper lip was a little dry from a few days and this thing solved my problem in a day. Works amazingly well.

Pros:

1. Love how moisturising this is..!
2. Contains cocoa butter, kokum butter, sal butter, mango butter..the best combination of all moisturising butters.
3. Smells awesome !!
4. It is free from all preservatives and parabens and is totally natural.
5. Economically priced.

Cons:

1. Tub packaging..but they do mention that its a personal care product and should be used by only one person..but ya you need to dip hands..so a hygiene issue.
2. It would help heal chapped lips but obviously not for forever..you do need to use it whenever you feel you got dryness…though this I would not consider a con..I do not expect permanent results too.

No other con..this is a wonder product for lips..overall I super love it..!!

Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm v/s Lotus Herbals Lip Therapy

I love tinted lip balms..and there is Nivea and Lotus which make good ones in India (Vaseline has come up with Rosy Glow in their tubes too..and that too at Rs.60 /- )…Nivea has the tube ones too in tinted which are Pinkish Boost, Glamorous Gloss, etc and the twisted tube one has 2 variations…the normal plain tinted i.e Star Fruit in Cherry and Strawberry and the Fruity Shine i.e the one with slight shimmer in Dragonfruit and Pomegranate.
Lotus comes in a tub in the flavors i.e Lotus lip balms in Strrawberry and Orange and the twisted tube i.e Lotus lip therapy in Cherry, Chocolate, Velvetty Rose, Fresh Mint, Vanilla and Cocoa.

I have Nivea Fruity Shine in Dragonfruit and Lotus Lip Therapy in Cherry. Dragon fruit is all pink with some shimmer..which is not that visible and has a fruity smell.Lotus Cherry is less tinted but goes on a sheer red on lips.

1. The Tint !!! I love the tint…and no lip balm gives as much tint as these Nivea babies..and it stays on whole day.
2. Easy to carry.
3. Availability
4. These Fruity Shine ones have SPF 10 but the Star Fruit ones do not mention SPF…only say UV protection.
5. The caps are large enough..no fear of losing.
6. Not that waxy but very smooth…with the right amount of tint and shimmer.

Cons:
1. The moisturisation is very low…the lip balm goes away just as you eat or drink anything leaving the tint behind.

And now the Lotus
What the Company claims : Rehydrates. Heals. Protects. Has SPF 15. 2. Perfect for the winters when lips need extra moisturisation.
3. Easy to carry.
4. Availability.
5. Has 6 flavors..and all are tinted except Chocolate which smells like chocolate but is plain and has no tint.
6. Has SPF 15.
7. No animal testing.

Cons:
1. They are waxy and not as tinted as Nivea.
2. Small caps..may tend to lose them.

Overall rating- 4/5

So which one I would buy : Nivea for the tint and Lotus for the moisturisation..I think I would stick to Lotus for winters.

Which one do you like ? Have you tried both ?
