Lotus Herbals Natural Blend Swift Make-Up Review, Swatches
What the Company Claims: All-in-one make-up that works like a foundation, a concealer & a compact, with sun protection. Its smooth application creates an even skin tone, conceals imperfections & blends easily for a matte effect, without caking or clogging pores.
MRP: Rs. 249/- for 10g
Shades Available:
- 710 Honey Beige (Darkest)
- 720 Natural Beige (Mid)
- 730 Creamy Peach (Lightest)
It comes in this twist up stick form..with a red and golden plastic body..though the plastic cap fits well..its not very sturdy.
The stick is super creamy and glides on well..it has an artificial sweet smell which I did not like..
This does not give enough coverage..its quiet sheer..works decent for an under eye concealer but if you have heavy dark circles..won’t work that way too..definitely not as foundation..it would give hardly any coverage.
Unblended |
Blended |
It does transfer on tissue and kerchief too…it works well as an under eye base..and pops up color..but since it very creamy..it would crease sooner too..
Pros:
1. Works in many ways.
2. Has SPF15.
3. Travel friendly.
4. Economical..and the qty of 10g is quite a lot too..
5. Works as base for eye shadows.
7. Did not break me out..but since its creamy..oily skin definitely needs to set it with powder.
Cons:
1. Not much coverage.
2. Only three shades to choose from.
3. Has a sweet artificial smell..which I detest.
4. Transfers on tissues and kerchiefs.
5. Wear time is just 4-5 hours max.
Overall I found it pretty ok..if you have dry skin and do not need much coverage..you can give this a try..but if you need coverage..this would not work for you.

Pure Color Lipsticks have a simple golden packaging..its decent and sturdy enough..they have a very nice mix of pinks, browns and peachy pinks.
The texture is cream finish and is moisturising too..it does not settle into lines and never feels dry..staying power varies from shade to shade..darker shades have a good staying power of 3-4 hours and leaves a tint behind. It has a sweet artificial smell which I did not like much..but it goes away in a few minutes.
T-2 wipes B- 1 swipe |
Pros:
1. Has a good mix of pinks, peaches and brown shades.
2. Has a smooth creamy finish.
3. Does not settle into lines.
4. Very economical.
5. Good staying power of 3-4 hours.
6. Red Rose is a very wearable red..that would suit all skin tones.
Cons:
1. Lotus Herbals is not available everywhere.
2. I do not like the artificial sweet smell.
No other cons as such..I quite like this..and surprisingly they have a good staying power too. Overall Red Rose is an universally flattering pink based red. And good for those who wish to start with bright shades. Check out swatches of all the Lotus Pure Color Lipsticks here

Lotus Herbals Sponsors Colors Golden Petal Awards
Lotus Herbals Moist Petals Lipstick Red Rover Swatches
I have already reviewed the Lotus Herbals Moist Petals Lipstick here. I had the shade Maroon Melody. Then I quite liked the formula and got two more..in Rose Petal and Natural Haze.
The shade I am reviewing today is 112 Red Rover which is a part of their Festive Glam collection having 5 other new shades.
It looks like an orange based red in the tube..but its not as dark until layered up. A single swipe gives a hint of pinkish red tint on the lips.
In Sunlight |
Indoors |
It does have some shimmer but its not much visible on application. The staying power is decent if worn as a full color and it leaves behind a tint but it does transfer like all lip colors.
But these are quite moisturising and you can skip a lip balm with this one.
Overall a nice red for those who are scared of reds or want to try reds..you can start with this..and even use it as a tint if you do not want a darker color.

Lotus Herbals Botanical Tinted Lip Gloss Review,Swatches
What the Company claims: A unique, high gloss lip care formulation with a non-sticky feel. Enriched with botanical extracts of Grapes and Jojoba that make lips soft and supple for long. The unique product qualities are: Sponge Brush Applicator for smooth even application Freedom to use as top coat without affecting lip color.
Active Ingredients: JOJOBA – Jojoba helps promote healing of the skin. – Its antimicrobial properties in addition to the chemical composition that closely resembles skin’s natural sebum, makes it easy to absorb and non-allergic even in the most sensitive individuals.
MRP: Rs. 225/- for 5ml
I had posted about the new Festive launches by Lotus Herbals in Moist Petals and Seduction Botanical Tinted Lip Gloss here. They have come up with 6 new shades in Moist Petals and 5 new shades in lip glosses suitable for the Festive season.
The shade I am reviewing 40 Lychee Squash is a part of their new launch. They have a normal slanted applicator..I guess a doe foot one would have been better.
Lychee Squash is a bronzy pink shade with shimmer..its a perfect festive shade..this shade would go with most of the Indian traditional wear.
Pros:
1. Its quite moisturising but non sticky.
2. A shade to go with traditional wear.
3. 5 ml is a good quantity..it would last quite long.
4. Economical.
5. The shimmer can give that glossy lips !
6. Has jojoba and grape extracts.
Cons:
1. Not all Ingredients are mentioned.
2. Staying power is ok..it does not last long.
3. This shade is not suitable for daily wear.
4. Its not very pigmented..so if you have pigmented lips you need to test it first.
Overall a decent gloss..And I would surely like to check out other shades..I just wished it had a little less shimmer and would have stayed longer.

Lotus Herbals Sun Block Cream SPF 20 Review
Directions for use : Apply cream liberally and evenly on face and exposed parts of body before exposure to sun. Cream will not get washed/wiped with water/sweat.
Active Ingredients: Contains berry extracts, octyle methoxy cinnamate, menthyl anthranilate and titanium dioxide.
MRP: Rs. 110/- for 60g
Its called the Berry Breeze Cream coz its pink and has berry extracts in Ingredients and also has that berry smell..its PA+ and has UVA and UVB barriers too alongwith SPF 20. It claims to be sweat proof and water resistant and suitable for all skin types. Its a thick pink colored cream and does get absorbed into the skin.
Pros:
1. Though its thick..its not greasy and gets absorbed easily.
2. Like the berry smell.
3. Sweat proof and water proof..stays well for quite a few hours after which needs to be reapplied.
4. It did not sweat me out or sit on the skin like you have applied a layer of sunscreen.
5. Economical.
6. Travel friendly..easy to carry tube packaging.
7. No whitish cast issued with it.
Cons:
1. Has only SPF 20 which is obviously less for sunny days.
2. May be a little thick for oily skinned or they may not like it.
3. Has parabens.
Overall its quite decent and nice..Lotus Sunscreens have never failed for me yet..I love the SPF 50 spray and its like my HG..and this is also basically a sun block and sweat and water proof too…nice for normal, combination or dry skin.
