Here is a saree that is mostly white in colour. Warm peach and apple green colours add a lot of zing to it. The fabric is tissue silk which is slightly sheer. The border is accentuated with coral lace and mirror work. Slight effects of green on the pallu, paired with matching quilted green sleeveless blouse; make the saree quite a refreshing option that can be worn during the day or evening. Madhuri Dixit sports a multi-coloured saree designed by Masaba Gupta, a designer who is famous for her unique use of prints and patterns. The fabric looks like crepe silk if you observe the pleating carefully. This saree has a burst of colours. It has light grey and candy pink mixed on the lower part. Neon green and black accentuating the pallu makes the look so vibrant. A sleeveless lace blouse is added to bring back the sensuality to an otherwise fun and flirty saree. The smokey eyes just make Madhuri look ‘perfect’!

This designer Sabyasachi saree has polka dotted print on the ivory base. It is a georgette saree. There is an interesting pop of pink in the pleats, slight black net detailing, and mint coloured border. She is wearing a plain raw silk blouse.

Make your look even more retro by going in for polka dots in even brighter colours like turmeric yellow and tomato red. Here is Madhuri in a saree by designer Nikasha. Notice the gold border and beautiful tassels finishing out the look perfectly. This sort of a look can work amazingly well for cocktail dinners or even pre-wedding functions of your friends and family.

Net Factor
Older women tend to move away from sheer fabrics, but Madhuri bends the rule. She looks classy and chic even when she chooses a net saree.
