OOTD: I Am Back 🙂

Hey guys,

I am back, up and going now. I can do all the basic stuff and would be going back to my place with hubby 🙂 Only I cannot walk fast or climb steps quickly as of now. Also I am not supposed to wear heels for 2-3 more months. So I am buying lots of flats, reasons to shop 😉 And back with a new outfit post. A monochrome and androgynous outfit but with a twist, the twist is the blouse has cute bow cut offs on the sleeves.

The trousers were quite loose for me, but I did not bother exchanging them as they were very comfortable! Though I would get a few alterations done to it.

I paired this monochrome outfit with my new metallic gold Vans with tassels on the sides ! Say hello to my new Vans!

I know the pics are not very clear..I just discovered yesterday that my new DSLR lens was also dashed from the front and the zoom got stuck, as we were carrying it with us on the day of the accident. I have given it for repair at the service center, I hope it starts working properly again 🙁

OOTD: Cliché Red on Valentine’s Day

Hey guys,

An OOTD after a long time, of course its not new since I can’t even stand yet but hopefully soon. I had done a shoot for this dress in early Jan and was waiting for an occasion to post it, when I saw the pics I thought today is the perfect day to post this red dress.

I am not a person who would usually wear red, so Valentine’s Day would have been a good occasion/reason to wear red.

I love how this dress fits snuggly, ends over the knees giving it a pencil skirt look and has pockets at the front. It is super comfy and figure flattering.

OOTD: Summer Floral Dress

Hey guys,

I am back with an OOTD after a long time. Monsoons have officially begin in Mumbai..though it was on/off before and then there were no rains for a month. That was the time I was wearing this summery floral dress.

Though the rains are unstoppable right now, but again we would see some days of normal Mumbai summer soon 😀

I love the green base and the floral paisley motifs in red,pink and purple on this dress. Also, its more like a casual shirt dress. Its so comfortable and looks pretty too. And has an interesting back.

I paired it with this long gold and silver knot chain necklace, a small blue and silver bracelet, silver midi rings, an orange chrysanthemum flower brooch as a hair accessory. And completed the look with my purple wedges.

Its also very beachy/Hawaiian kinda look I feel :p I think I badly need a holiday.

OOTD: Leopard Print Crop Top, Blue Pencil Skirt

Hey everyone,

I am back with an OOTD..so crop tops are like so IN these days..and they are everywhere..at Forever 21, you will only see crop tops ! And the young girls these days are loving the trend..

Here in this outfit, I paired a leopard print crop top with a navy blue pencil skirt..and black ankle strap wedges and a crocodile print black bag.

Since the crop top was the main piece of attraction here and its high neck, I did not add any statement necklace..just some gold midi rings a hollow gold bracelet.

I am in loveee with these black ankle strap suede wedges..they are so comfy..I have danced 2 hrs in them ! I can literally live in them..and they look so chic <3 Also available in blue and white..

Some tips on wearing a crop top:

  • Pair it with pencil skirt/midi skirt/palazzos
  • Don’t wear it if you are apple shaped or have extra love handles
  • Show only a little bit of skin, if you are not too comfy
  • And if you are not comfy showing any skin, you can layer it over a tank/camisole (If you have seen my outfit on Instagram, I wore a striped crop top layered over a basic tank)
