Overall as mentioned in the video, I love the eyeliner the most. The lipstick is nice but not very pigmented and obviously not worth Rs.1500/-. Not too happy with the shimmer sunscreen and no SPF mentioned too. The small tubes of scrub and face wash are not of much use, and considering their price, I wonder why are 8ml samples even included.
Fab Bag is always value for money though, considering the price you pay for 3-4 products, but when it comes to quality, only 1-2 products would be a hit. Still I wouldn’t mind paying 599 bucks for 4 products, but this time around you can consider only 3 products,as those tiny face wash and scrub samples don’t count. I have seen better Fab Bags in earlier months, and would love if Fab Bag can maintain that, awaiting an even better Fab Bag in August 🙂

So as I mentioned in my previous floral romper OOTD, I have quite a few posts left from my December trip. After the floral romper, this was my 2nd most favourite outfit. I am kind of biased towards this dress too I wore at The Venetian.
Coming back to this outfit, it is another perfect beach outfit, well you can replace the white skirt with shorts. I did that later on when we had to travel on a bike. But if you are just relaxing or lazing around on the beach, then this may work.
I absolutely love this combo of pastel blue crop top with pineapple print and white lace skirt. I went with pearl and spiked bracelet accessories wise and my Only flip flops.
How I miss the beach and hammock. Also they had this wood table and a cut tree as chair..so pretty the entire beach looked.

When I got a chance to try this new hair colour on my mom, I was like why not. I like the fact that Godrej Nupur has added natural ingredients to hair colours- ingredients which are really good for your hair, especially coconut oil. The coconut oil is known to be an excellent deep conditioner for hair and helps to make hair healthier and luxuriant, while the henna in the hair colour is known to nourish hair, making it silkier and shinier, and making it look healthy.
It’s been 7 months since I have got married and I miss my mom like crazy, I had expected that I would miss her, but I miss her way too beyond any expectations 🙁 More so, coz I live all alone i.e. just me and hubby.
This time I coloured her hair, trust me you should do it too for your mom. You get to spend that time together and it is like a small connect emotionally.
Since this hair colour has pre- measured sachets, I just had to mix the colour and developer and it was ready.
The Mix of Colour and Developer
I went with the colour ‘Natural Brown’ for my mom. As the pack mentions, for longer hair you would need 2-3 packs., we tried covering majority areas of greys for which one pack sufficed.
I used a brush and had worn gloves for easier application and to avoid staining my hands. We did a patch test on her before to see if she is not allergic to anything in the product and as expected, she was not and we went ahead with the colour. Godrej Nupur Coconut Henna Hair Colour is safe and contains natural ingredients and is also an ammonia free hair colour, but every skin is different, so always do a patch test first. The packet also suggests doing a patch test first before application.

You need to keep the colour for 30 minutes and then wash with normal water.
Here is a Before-After. I tried it from 2 different angles,coz the crown was where my mom has the most greys and it showed a remarkable difference.

I would say I am pretty impressed with the results.The coconut & henna in the colour worked wonders by leaving her hair feeling nourished, covering the greys, giving it a shine and silkiness & a nice natural brown shade with a lovely fragrance. One of my fellow blogger Manjulika wished for this Philips Air Fryer for her mom as she makes super yummy kachoris and samosas, smart wish I would say, coz it benefits the entire family plus takes care of their health too with less to no usage of oil. I haven’t done an OOTD since a long time, I still have 1-2 outfits from my December trip to be posted, so wanted to share them with you soonest.
This is one of my favourite outfits from the trip. I wore this blue romper at Havelock in Andamans, we went to the Elephant Islands where we tried a lot of different water sports.
I love these round mirror sunnies of mine on my beach vacations especially. I also wore this camel brown woolen kind flat top cap since it was sunny, again another favourite. I love flat top caps since they look much smarter than the usual.
And wore this ‘Cool’ letter necklace in gold and my flip flops.

I love the fact that this outfit was so comfortable and easy,it felt really good. I love rompers coz they are very loose and free sized, so one can wear it anytime and walk/sit comfortably without worrying. Scholl launched this new Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electronic Foot File last year. I always thought it was a hyped product and what is so great about it and that it would never match a pedicure using various tools at a salon.
When I got a chance to try it, I was like why not, let me find out what the hype is about.
Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi comes with the main unit, attached roller head (Which can be detached/replaced), 4 AA batteries and a plastic cover for the roller head. So you just need to insert the batteries and get working, that’s it.
My feet never had much of an issue, I hardly went for pedicures as there was no dry skin or cracked heels issue for the longest time. They were always very soft and smooth and even when I went for a pedicure once in a blue moon, the attendant would be like, there is hardly any dead skin for me to work on 😀 However, after the accident and surgery, the skin had turned rough. The feet were not kept on the floor for more than 40-50 days, so there was no blood circulation and they were just straight on bed, so no blood flow downwards. The feet had a lot of dead skin and they had gone completely dry with a new layer formed on them altogether. The first thing my physio told me to do is scrub them well as the feet were slippery with that layer of skin. I scrubbed them 2-3 times in one week for the dead skin to completely go away, I wish I had this product back then, it would have helped a lot.
Coming back to today, my skin on the feet is almost back to normal. I thought this Scholl Express Pedi would not work on me as there was nothing much to come off. I tried it on the entire feet, the heels and edges, the mid portion and underneath the big toe which is usually drier. And guess what? I actually saw dead skin buffing out, the white remnants or powder you see is your dead skin coming off. When I touched my heels and toe, they were like so much smoother. I was shocked, I mean in a good way of course.
I know this looks gross, but had to show you guys it works
It actually worked! Basically, the roller head has sand paper kind of finish and the continuous rotation helps it buff the skin but without any pain. I am going to try it on my mom next coz she has very dry feet and cracked heels. I think it’s a blessing for someone with dry feet and who needs regular pedicure, this will save a lot of time and money. The best thing is it can be carried along anywhere, though it is slightly heavy.
My only issue is, I am not sure by when would the roller heads need to be changed, someone mentioned 18-19 pedicures which is decent, but it also depends on person to person and the skin I believe. The roller heads are a little expensive at Rs.799/- when you compare the discounted unit price of Rs.1749/- :p
Overall, I would say, it is definitely a must try! It does not hurt,very convenient to use and carry, a value for money at the discounted price. Highly recommended.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum comes in this long and slender aqua blue bottle with a transparent cap and a pump packaging. The pump is easy to use and dispense the product, no pressing 10 times to get the product unlike in few.
It’s a glass bottle and slightly heavy,hence not very travel friendly. Coming to the texture, it is off white in color, and gel like in texture as most serums. It feels slightly slippery but not much and gets easily absorbed into the skin, without leaving any residue or slippery feeling even though it has silicones (Dimethicone & Dimethiconol)
It is very hydrating and moisturising, my skin feels evenly hydrated and there have been no breakouts or dry patches with this. And the best part is no stickiness or greasiness at all! It is so light that you would not feel you have used any moisturizer and still have your skin completely hydrated.
It does what it claims, hydrated, plump and fresh looking skin all day. I use it once in the morning and I am sorted, I sometimes use it at night too, but currently using a different product at night time.
