Comes in 30 shades

It comes in a different packaging then the normal Lakme Nail Paints..its a square shaped bottle..and the qty is also 10 ml which is quite a lot..

It has a thick brush and spreads evenly..it actually is one stroke application..but since some lighter shades are a little sheer..you do need 2 coats..

It dries super fast..and I love that..I hate waiting for the nail paints to dry..and always mess up.. :/

17 Popping Pink is a neutral candy pink shade..I am so loving this shade ! And also 08 Going Green..so summery shades

Indoors

The only issue is it chips in 3-4 days..more so at the tips 🙁

Pros:

1. Perfect brush for even application.
2. Dries super fast.
3. I liked the square bottle.
4. All 30 shades are nice and quirky..and it offers many summery fresh shades..perfect for this season.
5. 10 ml of qty is quite good.
6. Economical for the qty offered.

Cons:

1. Chips in 3-4 days..especially at the tips.
2. Some sheer shades might require 2-3 coats.

I do not have any other cons with it..but I expected it to stay longer without chipping.

Overall I quite love the shades from the range..And I surely recommend them.

I am reviewing the shade 912 Crimson Red. I have already reviewed their previous Color Marvel Nail Paints here.
These have a slimmer and better packaging..I liked the bottle..and also the brush..it spreads evenly and faster. Also its dries fast.
Crimson Red is a true bridal red shade…I love such reds..Another similar one I like is Street Wear Bridal Red. But since I found this now..and its Acetone, DBP and toluene free..I am sticking onto this..and surely getting this for my red stock forever !
Pros:1. Its Acetone, DBP and Toluene free.
2. Did not chip for 6 days and then chipped a little at the tips.
3. The brush is nice…non messy, fuss free application in a minute.
4. The shade is opaque enough and just 2 coats are required.
5. Dries fast.
6. Economical at the price..as it offers 8ml.Cons:

1. Availability is a problem with Lotus Herbals Cosmetics.

No other cons. I am totally loving this shade, the opaqueness, does not chip for 6-7 days and Acetone, DBP and Toluene free. And the Crimson Red Shade ! I am totally getting this..and recommending for sure..

What the Company claims: Durable, high gloss, medium drying time formula

DOES NOT CONTAIN:
– toluene
– formaldehyde
– dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
– camphor

Apply two coats.
Make sure that first coat is completely dry before applying second one.
Some shades look best with three coats.

Pastel shades:

972 is a pretty pastel peachy pink (P4) shade..Inglot has five shades in their Pastel Collection Nail Enamels..I quiet like this peachy pink..Pastels are not something I am in the mood of everyday…but I love pastels at times..And the rest four shades i.e yellow,violet, green and blue are equally nice..

Its toluen, formaldehyde and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) free. Stays well without chipping for 5 days. The only issue is it chips from the centre instead of the edges.

You would require 2-3 coats for it to show up..one coat comes up quiet sheer. These are a little expensive for a nail paint..but 15ml is quite a good quantity too.

If you like pastels..I would surely recommend them.

NOTD- Crackling Polish

NOTD- Black Crackling Nail Polish


Now the crackling nail paints have become quite a rage..I wanted to try the Black one..and when I first tried it…it was so much fun !!

As soon as you apply the crackling paint..it starts cracking and its so much fun just to watch that 😀

This Black Crackling Nail Polish is from Laushine..

What the Company claims:

New Design, Quick Dry and Crackle, Easy to Use.

The right way to use it
1. Coated with base nail oil. (Base nail oil to be painted as to protect the nails)
2. Apply base color which can also be free to choose and part of the photo split out.
We recommend some Glitter Nail Polish.
3. Reapply background, wait about 1 minute to make it dry, and then cover Instant Cracking Nail Polish.
Thickness can be arbitrary. Direction can be freely left, before and oblique.
(P.S: The tips is not the law, crack naturally irregular looks better) The samples in advertising are obliquely brushed three times at intervals very thin and not painted the whole nails, so cracks are relatively large. If you want to have smaller cracks, Cracking Nail Polish can be coated thickly and painted a lot.
4. The magic crack pattern will appear after thoroughly dry.
Finally, The Coated Polishing Oil, Will Be Beautiful And Make It Perfect.

Now the Black and White are easy choices as they go on many base colors..I have noticed that Black comes out more beautifully on Glitter bases..especially Gold..but removing a glitter nail paint is such a pain !
So I tried it on Maybelline Cremosa Sexy..a hot pink shade..The pink base and black crackled top..I like…it looks purply from afar..I am going to try the glittery golden as base next..
Now the directions say a thicker coat for smaller cracks..but actually it does not crack properly with more coats..a single coat works for me..
And be sure you use a clear top coat coz otherwise the black polish appears grey and dry..the actual effect comes out only with a top coat..
Even though it costs 5.50 $ the bottle is 15 ml and huge..and with just one coat, it is going to last me super long !
The consistency of the polish is very thin and it is super easy to use..the brush is stable and nice too..

I am surely going to try White,Purple and other shades…so loving these !!

Apply two coats for intensity and use with Illamasqua Nail Base Coat and Illamasqua Nail Top Coat for the perfect finish. Talk with your hands and make a statement.

Tips
For application, try the 3 line technique: First wipe off the brush at the bottleneck of the nail varnish bottle; the brush must be covered evenly with product and must not drip. The first line of nail varnish is applied in the middle of the nail, from the cuticle to the nail top, in a long, soft line. The second line goes on one side of the nail and the third line on the other side. This guarantees even distribution of the shade. Additional layers may be applied to suit coverage desired.

The nail varnishes in the Theatre of the Nameless collection have rubber finish. Taint is a stone brown shade. Other shades are:

  • Faux Pas- Blue Violet
  • Vice- Deep Cerise
  • Kink- Bottle Green 
All four shades are quite pretty..and the rubber finish gives a totally unique matte kinda effect to it.

Pros:

1. Love the rubber finish.
2. I liked all the four colors in this collection.
3. Stays long without chipping.
3. Just 2 coats give that desired dark color.
4. I liked the square packaging..a little similar to Chanel nail varnishes.
5. 15ml would last quite long.
6. Formula is nice..not too thick.

Cons:

1. Expensive.
2. Not available here.
3. Takes a long time to dry !

Overall quite love these nail varnishes.

Street Wear Nail Paint Review,NOTD

I applied a red nail paint for the first time and I actually liked it…instantly perks up the hands and makes them looks pretty…Bridal Red is a very pretty true red shade..

MRP: Rs.45-50/-

The only problem was the brush..it was split into two..see..

That gave a very streaky application and it was very messy to use..

Pros:

1. Pretty shade and opaque enough.
2. Economical
3. Many shades to choose from
4. 2 coats were more than enough.
5. Stayed on for around 4 days and started chipping later.

Cons:

1. The brush was very bad and streaky.

Maybelline Colorama Cremosa Nude NOTD and Review

Sorry I was MIA coz I had my results and was a bit depressed coz I cleared only 1 group i.e 4 papers and I have to give 4 again in May..
Coming to the nail paint, its my first from Maybelline and I loved it. Cremosa  Nude is a nude pink..dull rose color..

This is the color which would suit every occasion..be it formal or informal…this would go with formals and with casuals…I loved loved this color..and so did many of my friends when they saw it on me.


On shorter nails

MRP: Rs 85/- for  8 ml

Pros:
1. Dries very fast.
2. The brush and bottle is nice…the long brush helped  give a smooth application and finish.
3. Quantity as this price is very good.
4. Did not chip for 6 days and later too not that much as Lakme without any base or top coat.
5. They are very good at quality.

Cons:
1. 1st coat gave a sheerer look..so 2 coats were needed.
2. It formed a very thin line on the top of my nails after 3-4 days..I dunno why..
3. I did not find the shades I was searching..not all shades are available everywhere.

NOTD and Lakme True Wear Color Review

I got the shade 243 from the new Lakme Gypsy collection…
Its a dark bluish purplish color with very fine blue shimmer visible in the bottle but not much on the nails.
Its the 1st time I have ever used a dark shade coz I was always into lighter shades or plain silver..
But but now that I have used it…I am loving it….the shade is super nice…and dark colors make your hands n feet look fairer ( cheat code :p)
The new collection has 8 shades…I wanted 043 and 044 badly…I loved them on Cynthia but they were Out of Stock..
043 is a dark navy blue
044 is a henna green gold
Others are 530 (a mustard dark gold),245 (dark maroonish red with shimmer),422(tomato red),244(lavender) and 246 (magenta pink with silver shimmer)
All these nail paints have shimmer in them.

What Lakme claims :
TRUE WEAR NAIL COLOR

Inspired by the bohemian, rustic gypsy trails this season, wear rich, deep colors with just a hint of shimmer. From mystic indigos to ruby reds and from plush purples to
henna golds.Available in 8 shades

MRP: Rs 90/-

Pros :
1. You get 9 ml for Rs 90 which is pretty decent.
2. The quality of these is quite good.
3. They stay for a long time on my toes and on hands they stayed for 2-3 days n then chipped a bit at the    
     edges but thats coz I use my hands a lot for handling something or the other.
4. Interesting shades for everyone.You will like one or the other out of the 8.
5. They are quick drying.
6. They are glossy.

Cons :
1. Availability.I dint get the shades I wanted.
2. Packaging is ok
3. Just that they chip on hands.
