OOTD: Gray Fuchsia Glitter Saree (Imaginary Red Carpet ?)

I am back with an OOTD..this time a saree! I have done one in an yellow saree long back HERE.

OOTD: Gray Fuchsia Glitter Saree

This time its a beautiful gray and fuchsia pink saree with a heavy glitter border..this is so perfect for parties, receptions,etc..

Its from TriveniSarees.com. They have an amazing collection of sarees, salwar kameez, lehengas and even jewellery and accessories. They have also brought a few designers on board..so you see designer wear too..and not only that, you have mens wear, kids wear and bed linen too..its like a one stop shop..good for brides too..perfect trousseau shopping place..this saree is also going to be a part of my trousseau. They also have plain brocade and digital print material which they sell per metre. They do the fall edging of the saree for free..and you can buy a standard cotton petticoat along for Rs.150 extra and get the blouse stitched for Rs.600 extra. And if you are the types who have difficulty wearing a saree, you can get the saree prestitched and the stitched blouse both for Rs.1000 extra. You just need to slip into the saree 😀 Cool, is’nt it ?

And the blouse is a normal silver one..which I got designed by my tailor..the design turned out good but not the fit :/ :Sigh: These tailors!

I paired it with silver mesh earrings and a simple gold and silver kada any my Titan Raga watch..And and my hot pink Valentino dupes!! OMG I can’t describe how high the heel is..killing feet literally..how do models walk in them is a big mystery to me! :/

Coming to the makeup, I used the new L’oreal Paris L’Or Lumiere Collection (read HERE) which consists of new Gel Matic Eye Pencils and Moist Mat Lipsticks. I have used the Gel Matic in Turbo Turquoise (other 4 shades in this range are Deep Brown, Silver Mania, Glamor Gold and Blue Force) and the Moist Mat Lipstick in Flaming Kiss here (Lincoln Rose, Glamour Fuchsia and Raspberry Syrup are my other favorites from this range..supposedly Aishwarya Rai wore Lincoln Rose with her first golden Roberto Cavalli gown at the Cannes 2014).

The Gel Matic Pencil in Turbo Turquoise is quite a nice vibrant turquoise shade..and glides on smooth too, was very easy to apply and it stayed put on the upper lashline throughout the day and was difficult to remove too..but does not stay long on the waterline.

Moist Mat Lipstick in Flaming Kiss is a reddish orange..not too ‘in your face’ kinda bright..but very wearable one..I loved it! Its super pigmented and goes full out in one swipe. Though it stays 3-4 hours and with eating and drinking about 2 hours. But, easy to reapply,no patchiness or dry lines.

I used a satin taupe eyeshadow on the eyes and lined my upper lashline and half the lower lashline with the Gel Matic in Turquoise and the Flaming Kiss Lipstick.

Please excuse my hair..I know they look weird here :/

Sorry for the changes in lighting..the sun was dancing..and also if you feel my foundation is lighter, let me tell you its not. My neck and body and slightly face too have turned darker..I got badly tanned..and 4 shades darker at the Beauty and the Blogger show..and trying to get rid of the tan..but I guess it would take some time..

I am back with an OOTD..I attended the Oriflame Bloggers Meet and yesterday and the Pond’s Men Range Launch (Super cute Varun Dhawan is the brand ambassador)

So basically I wore this white shirt with my super comfy slouchy polka dot pants..which are so comfortable in this horrible summers. The white shirt has a teal blue lining which gives the perfect pop of color to the monochrome outfit..

Also I wore this gold statement necklace..and finished with red and mint flats and my current favorite Daniel Wellington Watch !

I am so loving it..its sporty and chic and would match up with almost every outfit of mine <3 Its a Classic Southampton Lady with Rose Gold dial.

The event kicked off with a group dance and those girls were fab ! Followed by Yannick Colaco, Praveen Sinha and Abhishek Bachchan talking more about Jabong and NBA and the whole launch in India..how Indian audience will get NBA products now delivered right at their doorstep with just a click..Abhishek even scored some baskets..and he looks much better and smarter in person..I was amazed 😀

The collection of approximately 200 NBA products will include shorts, jerseys and t-shirts for men and women and will be priced between Rs 1400 – 14000.

This announcement comes amidst rapid growth of the NBA’s fanbase in India. This season, a record 14 games per week are televised on SONY SIX, up from three last season, viewership has grown by triple digits, and attendance at grassroots basketball events has doubled.

“Sports are a major draw amongst today’s youth in India and we have seen a spike in demand for branded sportswear on Jabong,” said Praveen Sinha, Co-founder & Managing Director, Jabong.com. “We are extremely happy to partner with one of the biggest and greatest brands in sports, and are confident that the NBA will be able to power the game of basketball to the same levels of popularity seen in other parts of the world.”

Coming to my haul, I bought this leopard print crop top..cant wait to do an outfit post with it..

Black ankle strap open toe wedges..the heels are longgg..I did not expect that much height :p But its fine..coz they are not heavy..and quite comfy..

Black leather boots with metal buckles..these are sooo soft and super comfy and light weight..and feel perfectly warm..my favorites..

And lastly these beige and khakhi glitter ankle length sneakers..these look so chic ! But these are definitely a little heavy :/ I wish these were lighter too..

1. Good Skin : Well, that is the main. With winters setting in and everyone suffering from dry skin, its very important to moisturize and take care of your skin..and hydrate yourself..coz with bad skin, how much ever makeup one layers, one never looks good. So, skin care is must !

There are tons of options..but statement necklace or statement earrings and a cuff or a cocktail ring..accessories would complete your outfit..but remember the ‘OR’. 10. Hair Free: Of course with the LBD, you are supposed to be hair free..and with the help of epilators and shavers, you need not worry about it.

Currently I am loving this wine and navy blue color block dress with a drawstring tie-up at the waist..the drawstring tie-up perfectly accentuates the waist and the longer sleeves hide your arms making you look slimmer overall 😀 Well, which girl would not love that 😉

Its soo comfy and soft to touch..I am really loving it..I paired it with black bow court heels..the heels are also super comfy for daily wear and do not hurt a bit. (Pssst..they are on discount right now :D)
