After Diwali and New Year and all the Indian wear, I am back with an OOTD again. I have so many Little Black Dresses (LBD’s) but a Little White Dress is also crucial in your wardrobe.
I went for a white bodycon Little White Dress (LWD) this time. It fits like a glove and of course I had to wear my shapewear underneath it (Sigh! Girl’s problems) But it looks quite elegant and chic with the gold chain detailing on the shoulders.
I skipped a statement necklace since it had the chain detailing and went for statement gold earrings instead. And finished it with gold and stone bracelet and rings from Silvette. I am absolutely loving them, these days <3
Finally my black suede block heels with gold ankle strap.
I also layered it with a polka dots denim blazer. This blazer is so multi-use,would work with many of my outfits from denims to dresses. Its warm, thick, fits perfectly, snugs correctly and looks amazing. What else would one want from a blazer ?! 😀 I love it!
I am back with an OOTD. P.S: This is my 1600th post. Yay 😀 Trivia: Hopefully 2015th post would be in 2015 :p #nookbye
This is what I wore to the River Island for Jabong fittings at Lakme Fashion Week this time. Pics clicked by the lovely Shanaya from Little Miss Sinner.
I love floral dresses. I gave it a semi formal touch by adding the black blazer and black bag. Blue suede ankle strap heels complimented the blue flowers on the dress. The statement belt cinched the waist and gave a nice fit. Added a bronze statement necklace and a gold cuff, and my favourite Daniel Wellington watch to complete the look.

Back with an OOTD. I love pleated maxi skirts. Today I am showing you guys two ways to wear a maxi skirt.
Wear it as a skirt (duh!)
OR
Wear it as a dress!
Yes, you can wear it as a strapless dress, and maybe add a nice belt like I have done here and a vest, coat, blazer, etc. Looks chic. Plus one outfit, two uses 😉
I have paired it with a plain white linen shirt and belted it to bring it together, and a blue statement necklace.
And in the second way, I wore it as a dress with a Moschino dupe statement belt and a black half fur black vest. A gold statement necklace and a spiked bracelet.
Wore this n*de and blue colorblock peep toe heels.
Outfit 1:
Skirt: Femella
Shirt: Marks & Spencer
Belt: Style Fiesta
OOTD: Polka Dots Bandage Crop Top, Daniel Wellington Watch
Hey guys,
Back with a crop top OOTD. Remember my leopard print one HERE. This is my second crop top.(One more pineapple print is on its way :p) You know how much I love polka dots and stripes!
I had also shared some tips on how to wear a crop top in my previous post. Crop tops are skirt’s best friend, be it midi or normal pencil.
I paired this white bandage polka dots crop top (bandage gives a nice peek a boo effect and hardly shows skin) with a basic black pencil skirt.
A candy orange sling was the perfect bright accessory to break the monochrome. My Classic St. Andrews Lady Daniel Wellington stacked up with a spiked and pearl bracelet completed the look.
My new shoes! How I love them <3 Black suede block heels with metallic gold ankle strap went well with the outfit. I wore them to Lakme Fashion Week and everyone complimented the shoes and asked where are they from :p They are so versatile and match with everything. Plus super comfy.
Top: Faballey (Available in black too)
Skirt: Faballey
Sling: Faballey
Shoes: Blackfive

OOTD: Airport Travel/Friday Dressing with One Pants
Hey guys,
I am back with an OOTD after a long long time. Remember my Goa trip with Blogadda last month ? (See HERE) I am going to Goa again tom early early morning with a bunch of friends. Yay! Can’t wait 😀 Probably my last trip as ‘single’ with friends, so kind of bachelorette too. (Though we have guys along :/ But its ok as long as we will be having fun!!) (P.S: Follow me on Instagram HERE to see the pics from Goa ;))
So, this is what I wore to the airport last time. A basic brown floral pants which are thick and warm. I paired them with a basic white Tommy Hilfiger tee, blue loafers, pearl studs and a Daniel Wellington watch. I also had my reliable black Marks & Spencer sweatshirt along to keep me warm during the flight. Keeping it simple is the best when you are travelling.
Some tips to keep in mind for airport travel dressing:
Wear longer tees/tunics. You may have your hand luggage or need to bend, etc. Keep it long and comfortable.
Wear closed loafers/ballets/brogues/shoes/boots. My feet get terribly cold and if it is the same with you, better keep them covered.
Always have a scarf/jacket/sweatshirt out and handy.
Wear minimal accessories. Airport is not the place to show off your statement pieces.
Wear comfortable denims/tracks/pants. No skinny or tight bottoms.
Carry a good big tote and don’t forget the basic stuff like lip balm, hand cream, moisturizer, face mist, sanitizer, etc. in the bag.
I guess ya, you are good to go, wearing some basic, comfortable outfit.
I converted the same pants into a more semi formal Friday wear, by replacing the casual white tee with a linen white shirt and tucking it in and my favourite black bag.
Some tips to keep in mind for Friday dressing at work:
So casuals on Friday does not mean shorts, bodycon dresses, etc. coz its still a work place after all. Stick to denims in basic blue and black.
White/Black shirts work well for semi formal Fridays
Again not too many statement pieces or accessories. You are not there to seek attention and neither would it be comfortable to work with any heavy accessories.
Blazers look super chic for semi formal wear
Monochromes/Neutrals/Blues look good.
Sheath/Wrap dress in neutral colors also looks perfect for Fridays. Sometimes on all days coz its formal too, depending on the cuts/design/color and the work place environment.
Outfit 1:
Tee: Tommy Hilfiger
Pants: American Swan
Watch: Daniel Wellington (You can win one HERE. I have a giveaway going on where you can win one of the Daniel Wellington watches of your choice!)
Earrings: Aldo
Outfit 2:
Shirt: Marks & Spencer
Bag: Romwe
That’s it guys! I hope you liked the tips. Do let me know what do you wear on Fridays at work in the comments below.
An OOTD from Goa this time. As many of you know, I was in Goa last to last weekend, we clicked some amazing pics at The Zuri White Sands Resort & Casino which is located in Varca, Goa. Zuri also has a private beach and all you see is white sand, literally.
I wore this outfit for the masterclass hosted by Miss Malini on the first day. Its a black crochet lace top paired with a black tulle skirt and combined them with a broad metallic black and gold belt.
I love tulle skirts and was quite excited to have this, but unfortunately the layers were few and the puff not as much as I would have liked 🙁
Anyhoo, I paired this outfit with my new n*de strappy heels from Zara (Love them!) and a black and gold studded clutch. A gold metallic statement necklace and a gold and black spike bracelet completed the whole look.
Thank you Nitika for clicking such amazing pics :*

I am back with an OOTD. After a break, this time. :p
Has the culottes trend caught on you ? It has on me, and luckily I found an old floral one in my wardrobe while cleaning and organizing it. 😀 One of the advantage of cleaning your wardrobe 😉
I went to the L’Oreal Research & Innovation Centre few days back for where we were shown how the hair color is made and the process, etc (basically the research and the things that happen backdoors). And this is what I chose to wear, since it was raining. Nothing beats a pair of pretty, floral culottes when its raining and you need something cotton, comfy and easy to dry.
There’s a difference between gaucho pants and culottes. Gaucho Pants (generally calf length and high waist) are slightly fitted from the top and only flare towards the bottom, whereas Culottes are fully flared and look more like a skirt. (basically a shorter version of palazzo pants).
I paired it with a white studded top and a pretty multi colored statement necklace. Only a watch to complete the look. And red and mint jelly flats since these are the best in rains/monsoons.
The statement necklace is from The Klick Store, owned by Karishma Lakdawalla. Check them out on facebook HERE, they have an unique collection of necklaces, earrings, charm bracelets, hair clips, etc. Not the usual stuff you find everywhere, coz Karishma herself makes them ! Yes, all handmade. Super cool stuff. I loved this piece personally coz it can be paired with so many things and complements many outfits.
I hope you liked the outfit. You will find a lot of culottes these days in Zara too. Have you bought one ? How do you style it ? Do share the pics/ideas in the comments below 🙂
I have paired this orange peplum top with my black denims and black ankle strap suede wedges. This current favorite gold metallic belt and a gold chain bracelet, gold and diamante statement necklace completed the look and of course, my black bag.
I love this orange peplum top, have been wearing it a lot these days. Its quite comfortable and looks chic too. The fit is nice and the fabric is soft and smooth too. It has a deep U back and can be paired with pencil skirts, denims, maxi skirts and in so many ways.

I know I had done the summery floral dress OOTD recently. But since, I had done that after a long time, I have few more for you guys. There is one more this week 😀
I am loving slouchy pants this season. I have loved them in summers and they are still good for the rains, if they are cropped. Reason: They don’t stick like denims, they are thinner so they dry quickly and are super super comfy. I already have a polka dot one but in black base. See HERE. This one is in white..and I bought another plain peach slouchy pants from the Zara sale. :p
I paired them with this faux leather black peplum top which has a triangle knot cut out at the back. And completed it with my favorite leopard metal and leather statement necklace and my trusted black bag.
Its more of a ‘casual comfy meet goth’ kinda look.
Added the Daniel Wellington watch and my current favorite Solester flats.
More about Solester.com: “My new footwear is so damn cool but still i can’t wear it with every dress.” #EveryGirlsProblem

Our goal was clear from day 1 – the shoe must score 10/10 on comfort, style and durability without exception. Countless iteration, endless hours and infinite round of testing for a period of over 2 years finally gave us what we required.
Almost certain that we finally wanted to give birth to this idea and what followed was the beginning
of Solester’s Journey. The journey of spreading the joy – The joy of changing it, often.
If you follow me on Instagram, you must have seen them in my updates too..
I think its a superb idea. I got one pair of uppers too. And I can buy more uppers and just change them, and get new shoes 😉 How cool! Though they are not exactly cheap, but its pure leather. So when you expect amazing quality, you need to shell a few bucks. Plus its only once for the soles. Later you just need to buy the uppers. And they have free shipping and flat 20% off currently for a limited period of time. (Use the code ‘Solester55’). They also have free returns withing 7 days if you have size issue or something. And I just saw that they have 30% off on few uppers..the white Lauren upper is for Rs.699/- currently.
Btw, I also tried a print on print..with stripes and polka dots..I think its looks pretty decent..whaddya think ?
I am back with an OOTD after a long time. Monsoons have officially begin in Mumbai..though it was on/off before and then there were no rains for a month. That was the time I was wearing this summery floral dress.
Though the rains are unstoppable right now, but again we would see some days of normal Mumbai summer soon 😀
I love the green base and the floral paisley motifs in red, pink and purple on this dress. Also, its more like a casual shirt dress. Its so comfortable and looks pretty too. And has an interesting back.
I paired it with this long gold and silver knot chain necklace, a small blue and silver bracelet, silver midi rings, an orange chrysanthemum flower brooch as a hair accessory. And completed the look with my purple wedges.
Its also very beachy/Hawaiian kinda look I feel :p I think I badly need a holiday.
