I had mentioned about the launch of Oriflame Studio Artist Cream Blush HERE.

It comes in tube form..no dipping hands or hygiene issues..

The formula is sheer but buildable..so you wont end up looking like a clown or something..even if you are a newbie..it is indeed quite easy to use as claimed.

Soft Peach is a light nude peach color..almost looks like my skin when blended..this does not show up on me..may be this would show up on very fair skin tones.

I love Pink Glow..it indeed gives that soft pink healthy ‘just came from the gym’ kinda glow..flushed dewy cheeks..and blends well..stays for around 3-4 hours.

Pros:

1. Sheer but buildable.
2. Easy to use and blend.
3. Gives a nice dewy finish.
4. Hygienic tube packaging.
5. Pink Glow gives a nice healthy flush to the cheeks.
6. Travel friendly.

Cons:

1. Available only through reps.
2. Soft Peach does not show up at all.

Overall, its a nice cream blush..good for even newbies..easy to blend and use..and carry around. I recommend Pink Glow and may be Sheer Berry..the swatches of Sheer Berry look good too..

I’m back with another eyemakeup product this time with a Mascara. Oriflame is another brand that I haven’t tried much and I was hoping I’ll have a good experience with their Hyper Stretch Mascara!

What the Company claims: Enriched with Pro-Long ComplexTM to stimulate the natural growth of your lashes~

The brand’s first mascara with the boosting effects of Pro Long ComplexTM, Oriflame Hyper Stretch Mascara stimulates Keratin production and compliments the natural growth cycle of the lashes to make them grow stronger and healthier in just 4 weeks*.

A perfect combination of the ultra elastic formula and lash extending fibre brush, the mascara instantly lengthens each lash by upto 65% with a precise definition and separation. The easy-to-work applicator delivers a smudge and flake free stay throughout the day, which can be applied daily without worrying.

Oriflame Hyper Stretch Mascara is a wondrous product which comes in a compact cylindrical bottle that fits perfectly into one’s handbag.

Packaging

The mascara comes in a long teal colored plastic tube with silver lettering. It has a long handle with short spiral bristles. When I saw the wand I thought it won’t adequately cost my lashes as I’m used to longer bristles like the Maybelline Colossal Mascara but boy was i wrong! It coats the lashes adequately without requiring much effort!

The mascara has a creamy texture which is neither too runny nor too dry. It provides amazing length and I do not need to even curl my lashes with this! I have never experienced such length with any other mascara!!

This does not weigh down my lashes neither but does succeed in the volume department. It provides average volume and doesn’t make much of a difference in that category. If i apply more than 2 coats then it starts clumping 🙁

The mascara is water resistant but not waterproof making it perfect for everyday use. I hate wearing waterproof mascaras on a day-today basis.

I really wanted to test this mascara on its lash growth claim so I wore this just about everyday for a month. To be really honest I didn’t see much of a difference but I did not witness any lash fall either 🙂

Pros :

1) A great everyday mascara
2) Provides great length and definition
3) Water resistant and easily removable
4) Extremely Affordable when on offer
5) Provides a good amount of curl and does not weigh down the lashes!

Cons :

1) Does not provide much volume
2) Clumps if applied more than 2 coats

Rating: 4/5

My Recommendation: Oriflame Hyper Stretch Mascara is a great everyday mascara which provides good length and curl to the lashes. It does not weigh down the lashes and is water resistant. However, if you’re looking for extra volume then you should skip this!

The Oriflame Beauty Studio Artist Foundation Illuma Flair is a liquid foundation that comes in a tube packaging with a screw top lid.

The foundation has light runny texture that makes it a little difficult to control the amount of product that is dispersed and also makes the cap messy no matter how careful you are. But because of the consistency, it is very light to wear and easy to blend and you can get even finish even with fingers.

Swatch, Unblended, Blended

The coverage is very light and it is almost like a tinted moisturizer. The shade I have with me is Olive Beige which is light for my NC 43 skin but thankfully it doesn’t have very cool undertones and that is why even though it’s not a perfect match for my skin, it doesn’t appear ashy. It feels slightly sticky after application but dries down quickly.

It gives a dewy finish to the skin and therefore makes the skin look healthy and youthful; however, since I have some blemishes, I use it after applying concealer to the area where I need to cover marks or patchiness. On its own it stayed for 6+ hrs on my skin, but when topped with a setting powder, I get upto 9 hrs of wear.


Pros:

1. Light on skin
2. Easy to blend
3. Great for normal to combination skin, doesn’t emphasize dry areas, covers pores
4. Great on budget as you can easily get it on discount.
5. Neutral undertones, neither too cool nor too warm.
6. SPF 15.

Cons:

1. Very light coverage, doesn’t hide marks/pigmentation
2. Those who are fond of mattifying foundations might not like this.

When it comes to makeup, natural is always beautiful – but so is a bit of color on the face. Fortunately spring summer 2013 will offer both the options. Brilliant shades of blue on eyes, Slicked vivid crimson hues, emphasized neutral lips and a glowing skin are the trends to look at in the coming season.


Strong and bold brows are yet another look back in fashion. Fill using a dark brown pencil or eye shadow to create a bold statement. After very long, sparkle catches the limelight. Apply just a hint of shimmer or glitter on the eyelids, but make sure you don’t over-do it. The “Smokey Eye” in dark black is officially over. The new trend is to use eye shadows in gray or dark brown tones to create a softer look.

The season is all about clean and glowing skin. Apply a light peachy base and avoid a blush. What the Company claims: Morning-fresh make-up – all day long! Light diffusing properties and emollients give your skin silky softness and an even complexion, whilst mattifying properties mean easier, more comfortable make-up application. The result is the perfect base for your make-up and a wonderfully radiant finish. 30 ml.

Ingredients:

My search for the perfect primer began as soon as i started using my first foundation.

It has been an unending quest and still continues. Oriflame perfecting face primer was one of the first ones i chose because it was the most easily available and affordable for a college student.

PACKAGE- It comes in a simple transparent tube.I was looking for a gel form but this one is more of a runny cream kind.

TEXTURE- it has a smooth texture.Makes the application easy. And also makes foundation easy to apply. But it does not cover the pores well like a good primer is supposed to do. That’s not much to complaint about , Afterall at 398/- what more can we expect.

Unblended- Blended

LASTING POWER- It lasts the whole day and also makes your face make up last long. But then it starts getting greasy on my face so i’ll skip buying this the next time.

It will be good for those with dry skin. However for those with oily skin ,i’ll say it’s better to skip.
