OOTD: 3 Casual Outfits (Part 2)

Hi guys,

Remember the 3 casual outfits I did last time (See HERE). I think it’s a nice idea to bring together some daily wear casual outfits and many of you liked the post, so I thought of continuing this series.

Here are another 3 casual outfits which I wore recently in an event or for a meeting or here and there..

Outfit 1:

The first outfit is this lovely blue,brown,white printed dress which has a tie-dye kind of effect. It comes with a belt which accentuates the waist and fits perfectly, also has a flare at the ends, love the way it falls. The dress is from Oxolloxo and it costs only Rs.518/- 😀 Steal, isn’t it? The sleeves are bell shaped and slightly long for me, I prefer folding them 🙂

I paired it with my black tasseled sling and tan brogues. For accessories, my favourite Daniel Wellington watch and layered silver dainty pieces.

One is my name pendant and the other is an infinity with love, both are from The Lieben Store on Instagram. Do check them out for some cute accessories. They have these small necklaces and rings to cute hair bands and wrist bands and a lot of other cute stuff.

Outfit 2:

Second outfit is this bright coral sheer shirt with metallic gold pointed collar clips.It is from a new Instagram store called ES Collection, they have simple but classic pieces and that can be customized to your size,also a lot of sizes are available. The best part is they are quite economical too.

I paired it with white straight fit pants and black studded ballets. My Daniel Wellington watch and MK Mini Selma sling completed the look.

I wore this outfit for a casual meeting. On my lips, I have the Maybelline Rebel Bouquet Lipstick in REB04 which matched perfect with the shirt co-incidentally.

Outfit 3:

Midi skirts are still in trend and I believe they still would be for some time,at least 😀 I love midi skirts and have 3-4 of these. (See one HERE)

I had this pretty white midi skirt with red roses print on it. I paired it with a red crop top from a red co-ordinates set and a vintage looking leaf statement necklace. My Daniel Wellington watch, MK sling and gold ankle strap heels completed the look.

I wore this to the Lakme Pro Stylist Studio Launch here in Phoenix,Lower Parel, Mumbai.

OOTD: Crop Top,White Culottes

Hey guys,

An OOTD post today.I love culottes in monsoons coz they don’t get dirty from the bottom plus they dry out pretty quickly unlike denims. So culottes are your best bet in the rains. Also they give the look of a skirt with the feel of pants :p I had styled a pair of floral culottes last monsoon HERE.

This time it is a pair of white culottes and I went with a crop top. I love how the coral red crop top works with the white culottes. I was not too pleased with the fit of the culottes, but as the size increases so does the length and since I am short, it somehow clashes :/ I accessorized with a nice, chunky statement neck piece and let that be the showstopper of the outfit.

A simple gold midi ring, watch and brogues to complete the look.

OOTD: Red Lips Embroidered Dress

Hi guys,

A new OOTD today..I wore this pretty red lips embroidered dress last Saturday when we went to Prime Time Sports Bar and also it was my niece’s 2nd birthday 🙂

I love how simple and effortless this dress is,yet glams you up instantly. I paired it with a simple gold choker necklace and a simple Daniel Wellington watch and a set of rings.

Completed the look with this black fringes bag and studded black ballerinas.

Since it was quite dark and the lighting was not that good, some pics look a bit harsh. Also, I am wearing the L’Oreal Paris 24H Powder Foundation and hence the whitish cast, see I told you.

OOTD: Navy Blue Crop Top,Floral Palazzos

Hi guys,

I am back with an OOTD. I have seen palazzos doing rounds since a long time,I always felt they look good only on taller and leaner women like maxi dresses, and hence never tried them.

This time, I thought, why not give it a try and I saw this beautiful floral palazzos and fell in love with them. This navy blue lace crop top matched perfectly with the palazzos and also the fit was amazing,it hugged the body snuggly. The upper part was lace which played a peek-a-boo.

The palazzos are so,so comfortable. light and airy. I feel I can wear them everyday, even in these summers.

Since the top and bottoms were lace and floral, I did not accessorize much and just went with my classic watch and tan brogues. And my favourite companion MK Selma Mini.

I wore this at the Pantene event last week, and we also met the super hot Lisa Haydon.

OOTD: 3 Casual Outfits

Today I am showing you 3 casual outfits which I have been wearing of late.

Outfit 1:

 

A blue ‘Cinderella’ t-shirt dress from Disney and Kook N Keech collaboration for Myntra. I paired it with my tan brogues and Michael Kors Selma. I added a glitter gold belt to define the waist and give a shape to the dress. And my Daniel Wellington watch and a gold and black layered statement neck piece.

Outfit 2:

Second outfit is more of an androgynous look. I have paired a white tee with my blue denims, and layered with a men’s blue tartan cotton shirt from Zobello. Zobello is an online men’s clothing wear site, where you get everything from formal to casual to party wear shirts, trousers, sports wear, shorts, sweat shirts, etc. I love adding a men’s shirt as a layer to my outfit and there are so many other ways to wear your man’s shirt 😉 I love how comfortable and soft the material is and it is quite thick and pure cotton, hence very comfortable and perfect for summer layering.

The only feminine element I have added in this outfit to break the androgyny is this silver semi- precious stones cuff from Silvette. How super pretty is this cuff! I absolutely love it. The shoes and watch are the same as in the above look. I wore this outfit to the Levis’ event a few days ago.

Outfit 3:

Third outfit is this simple, teal colored dress from Dressberry which I bought during the Myntra sale for some 275 rupees 😀 I paired it with a simple,thin black belt and this gorgeous statement necklace from Rosabelle Treasures. I completed the look with my Daniel Wellington watch, Michael Kors selma mini and metallic gold Vans. I love the combination of teal and gold, the shoes perfectly complimented the dress.

 

I wore this outfit to the Maybelline Rebel Bouquet Collection launch a few weeks ago.

OOTD: Orange Lace Dress, Floral Blazer

Hi guys,

If you read the previous post, you know we had been for lunch yesterday at The Trident, BKC. We also ended up shooting the outfit since I loved the decor.

 

I wore this pretty orange lace dress which can also be worn off shoulder, but since I had layered it with a blazer, I wore it normally. I absolutely love the fit and how it hugs the waist and gives a shape and is not like a shift dress. Plus orange and yellow are my favourite colors <3

I wore this very light, floral blazer on top. It is so light, that I could comfortably wear it in these summers too. (obviously with the AC indoors) Since the dress and blazer are all bright and colorful, I skipped the accessories and kept the bag and shoes neutral.

So, I paired the outfit with my favourite Michael Kors sling (which you guys are bored of seeing now, but I am too lazy to change bags :D) and another current favourite, these tan brogues. Also added, a classic Daniel Wellington watch.

5 Fashionable Skirts Spotted Recently

Hi guys,

Come summers, we stay far far away from denims and love our skirts and shorts. Well, I love more flirty,feminine kind of style, so I am totally a ‘skirt’ person.

I love all kinds of skirts: midi,flared,pencil,floral,lace,tulle. You name it and I have it 😀 But not that I don’t love shorts. When I am travelling or at a beach, I am all the time in my shorts. White shorts and lace shorts have to be my favourites! I love skorts too i.e. skirts + shorts. But if I have to select one, I will go with skirts 🙂

Here are some of my favourite skirts I spotted in the recent past and I absolutely loved..

1. Flared Skirt

Jessica Alba in this faux leather flared midi skirt looks smashing. She perfectly paired it with a geometric pattern printed crop top, black cross body (which she is using as an envelope clutch) and black ankle strap heels.

2. Midi Skirt

Blake Lively wore this beautiful flared white midi skirt with daisy applique and she looked oh so fab. She paired it with a simple tee, her vintage coatigan and added a pop of colour with a turquoise blue beaded statement necklace. The Barbie pink Louboutins completed the look. Only has some nice flared midi skirts.

3. Printed Skirts

Printed midi skirts are all the rage. Check out my printed midi skirt OOTD HERE. Parineeti Chopra wore this gorgeous red paint splatter skirt with a black Zara crop top and finished with a beautiful statement necklace and Jimmy Choos. Fab Alley has some beautiful printed skirts.

4. Pencil skirts

Alia Bhatt turned heads with the neon yellow crop top and black faux leather pencil skirt. The black and white striped heels, hand harness and the funky clutch went well with her outfit. Pencil skirts work with so many different tops and tees, be it printed, solid colour, faux leather. You definitely need 1-2 pencil skirts in your closet. 5. Tulle Skirt

And last but not the last, tulle/mesh/net/tutu skirts are also doing the rounds in the fashion circle. I have a black tulle skirt which I had done an outfit post with,some time back. I have another beige shorter mesh skirt. I absolutely love how this black tulle skirt is paired with a black and white top, and accessorized well with ankle strap black and white heels and a clutch, sunglasses and some bangles. The whole look has been kept monochrome which works well and complements the outfit.

OOTD: Printed Pleated Midi Skirt

Hey guys,

This is what I wore at the L’Oreal Paris You Cannes event. I absolutely love midi skirts and this printed pleated midi looks oh so pretty! So many asked me where is it from, and I anyways wanted to do an outfit post with it, so here it is.

This skirt is from CNDirect.com. I love their collection, they have amazing stuff at such reasonable prices. From clothing,bags, accessories, sunglasses to even cool gadgets and electronics, they stock everything. I was wary of the quality, but then they are so good quality wise too! I still have more things from CNDirect for future OOTD’s, wait for them 😉

I love the house and lake print on this skirt, there were 4 print options. (Click on the link given in outfit breakdown below to check the options) I was a bit confused as to which print I should go for, since all looked good.

I paired it with a white shirt, I was supposed to pair it with some other white shirt but I forgot that at my mom’s place, hence went for a backup :p

I am not allowed to wear high heels currently for 2-3 months, so I got these smallest nude heels from Foot-in for few of my dresses. If you follow me on twitter, you must have seen the Foot-in collection I shared there. I have another awesome pair which you guys will see soon! Foot-in is so affordable and I loved the variety they had, plus the quality is good too. These are so light on the feet. I was not sure if I would be able to wear heels currently, but this was pretty comfortable. Foot-in also has bags,belts and sunglasses. I got a super pretty, gold glitter belt too 😀

Accessory wise, I only wore this huge,super pretty statement necklace from Rosabelle Treasures. I soo love each and every neck piece they stock. OOTD: I Am Back :)

OOTD: I Am Back 🙂

Hey guys,

I am back, up and going now. I can do all the basic stuff and would be going back to my place with hubby 🙂 Only I cannot walk fast or climb steps quickly as of now. Also I am not supposed to wear heels for 2-3 more months. So I am buying lots of flats, reasons to shop 😉 And back with a new outfit post. A monochrome and androgynous outfit but with a twist, the twist is the blouse has cute bow cut offs on the sleeves.

The trousers were quite loose for me, but I did not bother exchanging them as they were very comfortable! Though I would get a few alterations done to it.

I paired this monochrome outfit with my new metallic gold Vans with tassels on the sides ! Say hello to my new Vans!

I know the pics are not very clear..I just discovered yesterday that my new DSLR lens was also dashed from the front and the zoom got stuck, as we were carrying it with us on the day of the accident. I have given it for repair at the service center, I hope it starts working properly again 🙁

OOTD: Geek Chic

Hey guys,

An OOTD again, the last one from Hong Kong. We went for the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car at Lantau Islands in Hong Kong. Its a 5.7km long bi-cable car system which connects from Tung Chung MTR station to Ngong Ping Village. Ngong Ping Village is home to Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Buddha which is an 112 ft bronze seated Buddha Statue.

The cable car experience was fun, it seemed never ending and was on a huge huge height with a lake in between, and a small station halt.

I wore this ‘Geek’ tee with my black skirt and my trusted favourite blazer.

Pairing it with my Daniel Wellington watch,Ray Bans and 2-3 bracelets stacked together. And of course, my super comfortable Bata slip ons.
