NEW Sensiderma Moisture Soothe by Queen Cosmetics

Dry, Sensitive Skin Relief!

For mature skin that’s extremely dry, and ever so sensitive to mainstream skin care products, try switching to NEW Sensiderma Moisture Soothe! This lovely light cream is formulated specifically to care for the needs of mature sensitive skin, but particularly for those where sensitivity is combined with extreme dryness, leaving facial skin feeling uncomfortably taut and lacking vitality and elasticity. What makes Sensiderma Moisture Soothe so extra special is the fact that it delivers refreshing, cooling and calming benefits for those that either, don’t like or can’t tolerate, heavier, richer creams.

This almost gel-like formulation is so light it’s readily absorbed by the skin and, crucially, doesn’t leave any greasy residue. Easily penetrating deep into the dermal layers, Sensiderma Moisture Soothe gently delivers a cooling, refreshing injection of nourishment and hydration to help restore moisture levels and improve the skin’s softness, smoothness and suppleness. Ultra-cooling and soothing to delicate sensitive skin, Moisture Soothe also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and is highly beneficial for those that also suffer from acne rosacea.

Sensiderma Moisture Soothe is the latest addition to the Sensiderma skin care range marketed by parent company, Queen Cosmetics; a brand that has provided specialist skin care solutions to those suffering from skin sensitivity for the last 85 years. As part of the company’s service of providing bespoke skin care products for individuals at their wits end, having exhausted every avenue to seek a suitable product for their specific needs, new Sensiderma Moisture Soothe was born! Based on the original tried and tested formulations created by three eminent dermatologists in 1927 and adopting the company’s philosophy of using as few ingredients as possible to minimise irritation of sensitive skin, Sensiderma Moisture Soothe has proved so popular it’s now available to everyone that has drier, more mature, sensitive skin.

Containing no perfume, essential oils or unnecessary ingredients, Sensiderma Moisture Soothe gently yet effectively moisturises and nourishes even the driest, most sensitive of skins and, above all, in a light, mild manner that won’t inflame the skin. For best results, apply Sensiderma Moisture Soothe after cleansing and toning your face at the start and end of the day. Gently smooth the cream over your face, without pressing or dragging the skin to cause further irritation. Especially created to care for very dry and/or mature skin, this luxuriously light, therapeutic cream provides a refreshing alternative to rich face care products and a comfortable cream that helps the complexion look its best, however sensitive your skin is.

Natural Blush is a warm peachy shade with a little earthiness to it..I found it somewhere between MAC Peaches which is a true peach and Melba which is a peachy brown.

I love this shade for the warmth it gives to the face and does not make it look muddy at all. Its a perfect everyday color. All Queen Soft Powder Blushes are matte and so perfect for daytime.

T-Unblended B- Blended

Pros:

1. Queen Cosmetics makeup is perfect for people with sensitive skin. This would not harm your skin.
2. Its decently pigmented.
3. Quite economical.
4. Love the Natural Blush shade for the warmth it gives to the face.
5. All blushes are matte and perfect for day time.
6. Available both in refill form and with the normal packaging.
7. Stays on for 5-6 hours.
8. One cannot go overboard with this shade.
9. Though its a warm peachy brown..does not make the face look muddy.

Cons:

1. Not available here. But it can be purchased online here
2. Only four shades available.

Overall I found this quite good in color payoff and quality. I love the Natural Blush shade. If you like Matte Blushes..you will surely like this..

These come in a simple plain white packaging and nothing to fancy coz these are only made for Queen Cosmetics loyal customers on their request and not marketed and sold commercially.

L- Soft Pink R- Coral

Soft Pink is a cool toned bubblegum pink..its too much of a barbie pink on my tone.
Coral is a nice pinky red..quite a wearable version of red.

T- Soft Pink B- Coral

These are the most pigmented and creamiest lipsticks ever. But these are so creamy that one has to be careful in using them as they can bleed.

Pros:

1. These are very very creamy.
2. Very pigmented.
3. These stay put for a long time leaving behind a tint…so much so that you need a proper cleanser to remove this at the end of the day.
4. These are very small and handy to carry.

Cons:

1. These can bleed as they are too creamy.
2. Expensive for 10£ coz they have a simple packaging and not too much of product.
3. Available online.
4. Only 6 colors to choose from.
5. These do settle in fine lines.

Overall these are creamy and pigmented and long staying. If you like your lipstick to be long staying then you can try this but for me it settles in fine lines and can even bleed for a few.

T-B: Chocolate Brown, Olive Green, Lilac, Beige, Old Rose

All the eye shadows are plain and matte.Good for everyday use and for blending other shimmery shades too. Nude/beige would help even out the eye lids and Chocolate Brown would help create a crease. A lilac eye shadow would help open up eyes. Old Rose would also be a nice everyday shade.

Pros:

1. Would suit sensitive skin and sensitive eyes.
2. Matte shades..good for everyday use.
3. These shades would also help in blending out other shimmery colors.
4. Come in individual pans but easy to carry with the magnetic palette.
5. They do not crease much.

Cons:

1. Not pigmented..especially the lighter shades..one needs many swipes for the color to show up.
2. Little powdery.
3. Only available online.
4. Staying power is ok..do not stay long.

Overall these are ok..but except the Chocolate shade..rest lighter shades are not pigmented enough.

Queen eye pencils have a pretty nice packaging of a slender long white colored pencil with a golden cap. They are in proper pencil form..and easy to use and sharpen.

Brown is a true chocolate brown shade and Violet is a deep purple (eggplant) shade.

How I use them ?

I use them on the upper and lower lash line, also on the waterline sometimes..the way I love using it is on the three fourth outer corners of upper and lower lash line giving a thicker effect and smudging a little at the corners to give that smokey effect 🙂

L- Brown R- Violet

Pros:

1. These are perfectly suited for sensitive eyes and would suit even contact lens wearers.
2. Glide on easily as they are soft.
3. Love the violet shade.
4. Can be used on waterline..does not sting.
5. Does not smudge or spread out much.
6. Travel friendly.
7. They come off easily with any normal cleanser.
8. Brown shade also works for filling eyebrows.

Cons:

1. The staying power of them is ok..they stay for a few hours..but they do not spread out or give raccoon eyes.
2. Not available here..have to be bought online.

Overall they are pretty nice and easy to use..I quite like the violet shade..

Queen Cosmetics Tinted Foundation Cream Review

About Queen Cosmetics: Queen has 80 years’ experience of providing pure, proven skin care and make-up for sensitive skin.

In fact, Queen originated the concept of hypo-allergenic – non-allergic – cosmetics in 1927. The formulae were specially devised for clients with sensitive skin by a team of dermatologists and were first manufactured and sold at a pharmacy in Queen Square, London. Today, the products are manufactured by hand at our premises in East Sussex according to the original formulations. Our formulations are as pure and gentle as possible and use as few ingredients as possible per product to reduce the likelihood of an allergic reaction. We manufacture in small batches, ensuring quality and freshness, and meaning we do not need to pack our products full of unnecessary ingredients, additives and preservatives.
Our products are free of fragrance, perfume or essential oils. Queen products have never been tested on animals. More here

What the Company claims: Creamy and smooth, Tinted Foundation Cream provides a touch of colour and a perfect base for powder or blusher. This coloured sensitive skin cream is part of our make-up range for sensitive skin. For greater coverage, use in conjunction with our Translucent Face Powder, or follow with one of our soft powder blushers.

Choose from the following (listed in order of palest to darkest): Warm Peach, Honey Beige, Misty Beige, Warm Amber

Dot over your face and smooth in gently, taking care to blend well around the jawline and hairline.

Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Paraffinum Liquidum, Cetearyl Alcohol, Aqua, Sorbitol, Methylparaben, Triethanolamine, Titanium Dioxide, Pigments.

 45ml £15.35

It comes in a pump kind of bottle..but it does not pump out easily from it…the shade is a little darker than my skin tone and its the second palest…so only four shades to select from is a problem..this is more of a tinted moisturiser than a foundation…its very creamy and blends well..but it would give a light to medium coverage..

Pros:

1. Works well as a tinted moisturiser.
2. Perfect for dry skin as its very creamy and hydrating.
3. All products made suitable to sensitive skin.
4. Shipping is decent enough.. 4.5£
5. Works for everyday wear and comes off easily even with a normal cleanser.

Cons:

1. Only 4 shades to choose from.
2. Has parabens and cetearyl alcohol.
3. Only available online.
4. May be thick for oily skin..esp in humid climate…would not stay long.
5. Not meant for people who need heavy coverage.
6. I think it should be priced a little less.

Overall its kind of ok..does not work great as a foundation but ok as a tinted moisturiser..I like its ease of use as a daily wear…you can use it easily and remove it easily.
