Ok..so I am aware that Dec 2013 has ended..but since the box gets delivered at the end of the month..its was the end of Dec anyways..

What is Nature’s Co. Beauty Wish Box: Beauty Wish Box subscription gives you 6 deluxe sized beauty samples every month delivered to your doorstep. And generally plus one-two extra freebies..and some vouchers..and every month they have a theme..according to which the packaging and samples are chosen.

The subscription charges are : 1 Month – Rs.595, 3 Months – Rs. 1645, Half yearly – Rs.3215 and Annual – Rs.5950

You can subscribe to their boxes here

Last date for subscribing the box would be 10th of every month and delivery would be done at the end of the same month. Cash on Delivery is available.

I have already tried the coffee face scrub and love it ! And also the red and green tea sunscreen which I am not much a fan of..Actually I would have liked something I have not tried till date..but then there is no questionnaire asking us which products you have already tried 😀 And pretty much everyone received the same products..so there was no customisation too..

I would have liked if products would have given according to skin type and issues..

I am loving the cocoa body scrub and Jasmine body mist..and the mixed berry lotion too..yet to try out the Sandalwood hair cleanser though..

I also received a 10 minute complimentary spa session voucher and a 35% off voucher on The Nature’s Co. Products which can be redeemed at their stores..plus a Sterling holidays voucher which requires you to fulfill some conditions obviously 😀

Overall at Rs.595/- where you get a different cute packaging every month and different 8 products..which are samples of good enough quantity..I would say this box is quite worth it ! Highly recommend !

Garnier face creams are very popular these days. This is a perfect day cream for dry to normal skin. I got to know about this from my fellow bloggers and advisement, so thought of giving this a try. This Garnier product can even be used as a night cream and can be the best for chilly winters. I am using this cream for past 1 month, and let me tell you this has lived up to its claim.   Let me give you a sneak peak of Garnier White Complete Multi Action Fairness Cream.

My view about Garnier White Complete Multi Action Fairness Cream:

I have used most of the Garnier fairness creams and face washes.  Garnier creams contain pure lemon essence that provides fairness with motorization. This cream comes in a white plastic tub that is really small and cute. This is easy to carry during your travel and unbreakable. The Garnier cream is white in colour and has thick oily consistency. This gets easily absorbed into the skin in just 2 minutes of massage. The Small tub makes it convenient to use the whole product and remove even the last cream.

This cream has SPF that makes it safe for application even when going out in the sun. This instantly brightens and whitens the face and adds a natural glow.  Garnier White Complete Multi Action Fairness Cream doesn’t give good coverage for hide your scars or marks, but has helped to lighten my dark spots. This has made my skin fairer up to a tone in a month.

Though, I think for summer season will have to get some other cream that doesn’t get my face to become greasy.  For normal weather and normal skin beauties, this is a perfect day cream that adds glow, gives sun protection and adds fairness to the skin.

Ingredients:

It comes in a green and white half and half bottle..one side has a light green colored gel and one side some oil..it has a sideways pump dispensor..and both the sides dispense the product together..it is supposed to be combined together and then applied to the hair..like any normal serum..

My hair have turned pretty dry in the last few months..and so I thought of trying this out..it has helped my hair stay hydrated and glossy and shiny..and the most important frizz free..

I use it after my shampooing on half dried hair..and the best part is..it keeps my hair amazingly soft and shiny the next day too ! And it smells amazing..

I am completely in love with it..

Only issue being..I read that one side i.e the gel side of it gets over sooner than the oil one..and hence then only the oil does not give a similar effect..I wish they both came up in equal quantities and finish up together..

Pros:

1. Leaves hair super shiny and glossy.
2. Hair feels softer and hydrated.
3. Stays frizz free.
4. Effect stays on next day too.
5. Easy to use and carry around.

Cons:

1. A little expensive.
2. One side finishes up sooner than the other.

Overall I would say its perfect for dry hair..and gives that required shine and softness..and keeps hair frizz free..this serum is definitely a must try !

It comes in a simple black no fuss packaging..it has a faint vanilla smell which I liked..

Its super moisturising..I love how it glides on lips like a lip balm..and quite pigmented indeed..

Maroon Plus is a deep burgundy red..I expected it to be aunty like maroon..but its not..this looks quite good ! Its a perfect winter shade..Stays for 4+ hours even after eating.

Here is it on me..


Looks better on the lips than in the hand swatch 😀

Pros:

1. Super moisturising.
2. Highly pigmented.
3. Neat fuss free packaging.
4. Has a vanilla smell.
5. Comes in 18 shades.
6. Does not smear or stain..and easy to use..even the darker shades don’t require using a lip brush, etc even though its super moisturising.
7. Stays for 4-5 hours..and leaves behind a pretty stain.

Cons:

1. I wish there were more shades..and more of pinks and corals and peaches..

Overall, I would say I quite love these..the formula is perfect..and these are amazingly pigmented and hydrating..and staying power is quite good too.

It comes in a normal slightly round jar..has the trademark soft powder Pond’s smell..


This is super light and completely non greasy..I am not a fan of cold creams coz I do not like the heavy, greasy feel and the oil like slick they leave behind on face..

But this is soo good ! This is so perfect for oily, combination and normal skin too..Thank God Pond’s came up with something for us..otherwise it was always the rich heavy cream meant for dry skin..

It has Niancimide and Tocopheryl Acetate i.e Vitamin E (both help in healing any scars and marks and clear the skin) and Soybean and Lotus Flower oil..and also Peach and Strawberry Fruit Extracts..Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide (which act as sunscreen)

And its so economical..you can even keep it one in each bag at 40 bucks 😀 And its perfectly travel friendly.

Only issue is, it may be less moisturising for dry skin..as they need something richer..and they would have to reapply this, if using this…

But for other skin types, definitely try this ! I am sure you will like it..

This is my staple in winters..its in my bag..I use it like a hand cream, moisturiser, everything..my winter savior..I highly recommend this !!

I am reviewing the shade Neon Rose..

Neon Rose is a bright neon blue based pink..they have the same texture, etc as all Baby Lips..and are quite moisturising..I have one Baby Lips in each of my clutches and bags 😀 You can see how obsessed I am with these..my winter staple !


I only wished Neon Rose was a bit brighter..and so were the other colors in the Color Brights Collection..they are not so bright and pigmented as expected.

But, other than that..a pretty everyday lip balm..with a slight brighter pink touch..read the whole review HERE

I’m back with another eyemakeup product this time with a Mascara. Oriflame is another brand that I haven’t tried much and I was hoping I’ll have a good experience with their Hyper Stretch Mascara!

The easy-to-work applicator delivers a smudge and flake free stay throughout the day, which can be applied daily without worrying.

Packaging

The mascara comes in a long teal colored plastic tube with silver lettering. It has a long handle with short spiral bristles. When I saw the wand I thought it won’t adequately cost my lashes as I’m used to longer bristles like the Maybelline Colossal Mascara but boy was i wrong! It coats the lashes adequately without requiring much effort!

The mascara has a creamy texture which is neither too runny nor too dry. It provides amazing length and I do not need to even curl my lashes with this! I have never experienced such length with any other mascara!!

This does not weigh down my lashes neither but does succeed in the volume department. It provides average volume and doesn’t make much of a difference in that category. If i apply more than 2 coats then it starts clumping 🙁

The mascara is water resistant but not waterproof making it perfect for everyday use. I hate wearing waterproof mascaras on a day-today basis.

I really wanted to test this mascara on its lash growth claim so I wore this just about everyday for a month. To be really honest I didn’t see much of a difference but I did not witness any lash fall either 🙂

Pros :

1) A great everyday mascara
2) Provides great length and definition
3) Water resistant and easily removable
4) Extremely Affordable when on offer
5) Provides a good amount of curl and does not weigh down the lashes!

Cons :

1) Does not provide much volume
2) Clumps if applied more than 2 coats

Rating: 4/5

My Recommendation: Oriflame Hyper Stretch Mascara is a great everyday mascara which provides good length and curl to the lashes. It does not weigh down the lashes and is water resistant. However, if you’re looking for extra volume then you should skip this!

I have been soo busy attending weddings these days..like the past whole month..so many friends got engaged and married..like in lots ! Literally..And I have been running helter skelter to attend functions..some being out of town too..quite a hectic schedule managing functions, work, office and blog..thank God, I am not supposed to manage home as of yet..dunno how am I going to manage, when I would be supposed to :/

Ok..rant over :p Back to the review..one super pretty must have nail enamel !

Remember the Faces Neon Matte Nail Enamel in Ibiza I had reviewed HERE. I am reviewing 76 Bubblepop today..


MRP: Rs.229/- for 9ml

They come in normal Faces Nail Enamels packaging..the brush is awesome..no streaking or spreading out..dries quickly..and it stays and stays !

Bubblepop is a super pretty bright blue based neon bubblegum pink ! I soo love this shade..it looks super nice and not OTT neon..


I have received tons of compliments for this..and asked which nail paint is this..

I love the complete matte effect..and still gel like feel..only issue is it needs minimum 3 coats to be completely opaque.


The brush is super easy to use and gives a nice, smooth streak free finish. It dries super quick..no hassles of waiting..its TOLUENE & DBP, Camphor and Formaldéhyde free.



Perfect quality and good enough quantity..justified price..I have Ibize, this Bubblepop and one more shade from this Neon Matte range.

Highly recommended !

Lakme has been dishing out newer and exciting products regularly for the past year and amongst many other things that I liked, I really have to say, this Clean up kit for various skin types did sound the most exciting to me.

I will review all the three products from the Clean Up Kit | CLEAR PORES | With Green Tea Extracts in this review

Face Wash / Clear Pores

The Lakme Clean Up Clear Pores Face Wash comes in a green tube with a flip top lid which is quite sturdy and travel friendly. The face wash itself, is a transparent gel that is meant to clean all visible dirt and impurities and helps control oil. This particular face wash doesn’t lather up much but it does the job of cleaning out all superficial impurities very well. It surely makes the skin feel squeaky clean and leaves behind a nice refreshing feeling without that dry-stretchy skin. The Green Tea fragrance is absolutely delightful. And it does control oil too, but only to a certain extent. In extreme summers, it controlled oil on my T-Zone for about 2 hours which is quite nice.

Pros:
1. Budget friendly
2. Travel friendly
3. Refreshing Green Tea Fragrance
4. Cleans dirt effectively
5. Not drying

Cons:
1. Controls oil only for about 2 hrs

Face Scrub / Clear Pores

The Lakme Clean Up Clear Pores Face Scrub has the same packaging as the face Wash from the same range, i.e. green tube with a flip top lid which is sturdy and travel friendly. According to me, scrubbing is absolutely an essential for clearing out clogged pores and get rid of dead cells. This particular scrub has been especially designed for skin that is prone to breakouts and has Salicylic acid to prevent breakouts and fight blemishes. The scrub itself is a white colored emulsion with fine white beads that are very gentle on the skin.

After using the face wash, the scrub has to be massaged on the face for 2-3 mins , avoiding the eye area and then rinsed off. This scrub is perhaps my most favorite product out of the kit because I’ve already finished a tube and going to finish off the second one soon too. It is totally unlike most scrubs that I’ve used till date and the micro-particles are so gentle on the skin but do their job of scrubbing away dead cells very well. There isn’t a thing that I do not like about this scrub. Gives a visibly clearer looking skin post the cleaning routine and I have felt that creams work better on my skin after using this scrub. Also, the skin stays matte for long hours when used in conjunction with the Face Wash. This is a STAR product !!

Pros:
1. Travel Friendly
2. Budget friendly
3. Micro scrubbing particles which are very  gentle on skin.
4. Leaves skin feeling squeaky clean
5. Skin stays matte for long.
6. Gentle and refreshing Green Tea fragrance
7. Clears away dead skin and opens up pores for skin care products to work better by penetrating the skin deeper

Face Mask / Clear Pores

The Lakme Clean Up Clear Pores Face Mask ,again has the same packaging as the other products from the range. It is a greenish white clay  Mask with absorbing powers.It also removes excess oil from the face and claims to tightens pores It is supposed to be used once a week in conjunction with the Face Wash and Scrub. The texture is quite easy to work with, and you can apply a thin layer on the face and leave on for a few minutes before washing off.

I like the delicate soothing feelin when the mask is on.I am not really impressed with the Face Mask because there really weren’t any visible effects that I could notice. It just felt like any other clay based face masks that I may have used previously. The skin feels fresh but only for a few minutes after which it is back to normal. I didn’t see any tightening of pores.

Pros:
1. Travel and budget friendly.
2. Easy to use and spread.
3. Fresh feeling post removal of mask and even when it’s on
4. Fresh Green Tea Fragrance.

Cons:
1. No visible mattifying effects
2. Didn’t see any tightening of pores

Overall, The Lakme Clean Up Clear Pores Kit (Face Wash, Scrub, Mask) is a great ritual for a nice and easy cleanup at home. While the Face Wash effectively cleans superficial impurities, the scrub sloughs away dead skin and opens up clogged pores. The mask claims to tighten pores but I didn’t notice much of the tightening effect . When all three products are used together, you surely get matte and clean looking skin , and the combined effect may last more than a day which is great considering you can do it at home and at a much lesser cost than a Clean Up at a Salon.

Well with tons and tons of weddings right now, (I have already attended 4 engagements, 3 sangeets and 3 weddings :/) what one needs is glowing beautiful skin and Kaya comes to our rescue..

Remember the Aqua Fairness Luxe which I got done just before my engagement (read about it HERE)..how it left my skin super glowing and flawless..

This time I tried the Kaya Aqua Radiance..I went to Kaya Skin Clinic at Nirmal Lifestyles, Mulund-W. Neha attended to me..and I enjoyed my favorite signature Kaya drink…the apple,cinnamon,honey combo is divine.

Coming back to Aqua Radiance,the main difference between Aqua Fairness Luxe and Aqua Radiance is that in Aqua Fairness Luxe, 10% Glycolic Infusion is done..and a brightening mask is used at the end..whereas in Aqua Radiance, in place of 10% Glycolic Infusion, some vitamins are infused into the skin after the exfoliation..which vitamin serum is used depends on your skin type and skin issues..Skin Glow Serum was used for me..there is one for Anti- Ageing, Vitamin C for pigmentation, Hydrating one, etc..

Jet M Machine

I loved how skin felt all hydrated and nourished from inside after the Aqua Radiance..you can feel the hydration of aqua seeping into the skin.

And exfoliation gives a different look and feel to the skin. I surely recommend it..in fact people who get their regular facials done, should try this..it is recommended once a month..even if you do not wish to get it done that regularly, once in 2-3 months would help too..

Now which do I personally recommend out of the two, Aqua Fairness Luxe or Aqua Radiance ?
I would say if you have some special occasion lined up..like your own personal functions or a very close relative or a family member’s occasion, go for Aqua Fairness Luxe..without a doubt ! And if you want your dose of regular facials and routine skin care or just want to hydrate or prep up skin, go for Aqua Radiance.
