What the Company claims: Lakmé CC stands for Complexion Care cream. It combines the goodness of your daily skin cream with just the right touch of make-up to give you that perfect look in just a few minutes.
Its skin care benefits include sun protection (SPF 20), moisturizing, brightening and freshness while its make-up benefits are an even skin tone and basic coverage.
MRP: Rs.250/- for 30g
Shades Available: Beige and Bronze
How to use:
Ingredients:
It comes in a nice attractive gold and pink tube packaging..and it can be seen and felt that the quantity is good enough too..it does not squeeze inside the cap and is very much travel friendly.
It has a light floral smell..and one needs only a pea sized amount of this..and the coverage it provides is pretty good..much better than other tinted moisturisers in the market..I would say more than Maybelline, Revlon and Garnier BB and almost equal to the Ponds and L’oreal BB..here I compared them all 😀
Its not that moisturising..and tends to give a matte look..oily skinned beauties would love this..I feel a need to use a separate moisturiser..if I don’t, it clings to dry patches.
And the shade Beige is a little lighter for me..in this pic below I have used Beige..Bronze is slightly darker for me..I really feel there should have been one more mid shade in between the two and that would have worked perfectly for me..Beige would suit NC 30-35 and Bronze would suit NC 40-42. The mid people should have been thought of..are you listening Lakme ??
Pros:
1. Lovely packaging.
2. Economical.
3. Pretty good coverage.
4. A good enough quantity.
5. Gives a semi matte finish..great for oily skinned girls.
6. Stays for 5-6 hours after which a slight touch up is needed.
7. Has SPF 20..though not much..but little added protection.
Cons:
1. Cannot skip a moisturiser..clings to dry patches.
2. Beige is lighter and Bronze is darker..a mid shade is surely required !
Overall I would say its pretty good..and a boon for girls with oily skin…I guess Bronze would be a shade high in demand..and would suit most of the girls..a perfect daily use CC cream to your rescue. Recommended !

Would I buy it again: Yes..I think I will have to mix Beige and Bronze and use :p I wish they come up with a mid shade, though I doubt that :/

Available in 6 shades: Coral Sunset, Rust Crush, Neon Pink, Pink Pout, Burgundy Burn and Berry Cherry
MRP: Rs. 700/- (5.9 ml)
It comes in a normal lip gloss packaging..with the shade name on the side..the applicator is pretty good and easy to use.
These are super duper pigmented..feel like lipstick in a liquid form..glide on well..are non sticky..but hydrating. Stay on for a good 3-4 hours leaving behind a pretty stain.
Berry Cherry is a rich cherry red shade…
Here is it on me..
And here are swatches of other Lakmé Absolute Gloss Stylist..
Pros:
1. Super Pigmented. 2. Opaque in one coat. 3. Non sticky. 4. Stays for 3-4 hours. 5. Comes in pretty 6 shades.
Cons:
1. Expensive at 700 bucks. 2. Does transfer a little when freshly applied.
Overall, I would say these are amazing highly pigmented non sticky glosses..though these are expensive..but if you really like a shade, these are definitely worth a try.
I also like Burgundy Burn and Coral Sunset shades.

Diana of London MOVIE MAGIC MASCARA Review Review by Agnibanya “Mascara with specially designed brush & exclusive formula”
Specially designed brush Gives the right length and perfect definition
Exclusive formula Volumizes instantly for thicker beautiful lashes
Lanolin – free Strengthens and makes lashes naturally strong
Application Tips: Starting in the middle of the upper eyelash, apply cosmetic mascara in upward parallel strokes through your top lashes from below the upper lashes combing them upwards, and working your way to the edges. Lightly stroke down the bottom lashes, moving from the inner to the outer corner of the eye & comb lashes from base to tip.
Ingredients:
MRP: INR 595/8ml
The Diana of London MOVIE MAGIC MASCARA is lengthening and defining mascara available in only a single shade, i.e. Black, and it is really a very intense black. It comes in a bright and attractive Green packaging.
The brush want is flexible and neatly defines and lengthens the lashes true to its claims. In two coats my sparse and thin lashes look neatly defined and as I build up the layers, it also adds a bit of volume that makes the lashes bit glamorous and adds a bit of curve as well.. But only until say 5- 6 coats, post which there is slight clumping. The brush is neither too thick nor too thin and therefore it’s easy to reach the inner lashes easily too.
I like the brush tip which has short and stubby and widely spaced bristles which ensures uniform coating of lashes. A great aspect of this mascara is it doesn’t make your lashes hard and brittle. It is opthalmologically tested and I did not experience any kind of irritation even when I coated my lower lashes with this mascara or when a little bit of it got inside my eyes. It is not mentioned anywhere on the packaging whether it is a washable or waterproof mascara, but I think it’s a waterproof variant because I need a makeup remover to remove the mascara. It’s quite stubborn to take off. And it stays until you take it off.
Pros:
1.Attractive packaging 2.Intense Black color 3.Coats lashes uniformly, no clumping unless you layer too much 4.Stays for long hours 5.Non irritating to eyes 6.Perfect for everyday wear and office wear 7.It’s a big tube so it should last long. 8.It’s lengthening and volumising at the same time
Cons:
1.Too much layering can cause clumping 2.Non mentioned on the pack about the variant (washable/waterproof) 3.Need a good quality makeup remover to take it off.
Overall, the Diana of London MOVIE MAGIC MASCARA is a great everyday mascara that can instantly build up volume and define your lashes while giving them a lift at the same time. My sparse lashes look very polished and neat with this mascara and the short stubby brush tip coats lashes uniformly without clumps.
Editor’s Note: This sounds pretty good..and the effect looks nice too.

MRP: Rs.75/- for 6ml
Shades Available : 40
These come in a small cute round bottle..the brush is amazing..super easy to use..they apply streak free and they come in different finish..matte, glossy, metallic, clear top coat..
And the best part, they stay ! It stayed on me for about 6 days before some minor chipping on the tips..
215 Keep Up The Flame is an amazing glossy pinky red.
503 Denim Dash is a matte denim blue with blue shimmer.
221 Buried Treasure is a beautiful bronze brown with hint of olive green duochrome with gold shimmer..my favorite of the lot ! It has a metallic kinda finish. I loved this shade..quite unique.
These are so good for different nail art too..only glitch is when layered for nail art, they take forever to dry..though individually they dry sooner..and did not work when different finish is combined for nail art..like the glossy one did not show up on matte.
Pros:
1. Economical. 2. 40 shades to choose from. 3. Different finishes. 4. Cute round packaging. 5. Easily available. 6. Dries quickly. 7. Easy to use brush. 8. Stays for 6+ days ! 9. Formaldehyde, DBP and Toluene free
Cons:
1. Some finish when combined do not work for nail art. 2. Takes time to dry when layered for nail art..though not individually.
I loved the fact that both the price and quantity is lower..coz its easy to finish up 6ml than those 15ml bottles..and saves on price too..plus we get to try more shades at the same rate..
I am in love with these..every shade I see..I fall in love with it 😀
Oriflame Beauty Studio Artist Foundation- Illuma Flair with SPF 15 (Olive Beige) Review, Swatches
Review by Agnibanya
Product Claims: Kiss harsh, unforgiving lighting goodbye forever! Light-diffusing Illuma Flair™ Complex blurs imperfections, evening out skin tone and giving a natural, yet flawless result wherever you are. Its weightless formula feels wonderful on the skin, and leaves it feeling moisturized, looking luminous and free from shine. SPF 15.
No. Of shades available: 5
Ingredients:
MRP: INR 598/30 ml
The Oriflame Beauty Studio Artist Foundation Illuma Flair is a liquid foundation that comes in a tube packaging with a screw top lid.
The foundation has light runny texture that makes it a little difficult to control the amount of product that is dispersed and also makes the cap messy no matter how careful you are. But because of the consistency, it is very light to wear and easy to blend and you can get even finish even with fingers.
Swatch, Unblended, Blended
The coverage is very light and it is almost like a tinted moisturizer. The shade I have with me is Olive Beige which is light for my NC 43 skin but thankfully it doesn’t have very cool undertones and that is why even though it’s not a perfect match for my skin, it doesn’t appear ashy. It feels slightly sticky after application but dries down quickly.
It gives a dewy finish to the skin and therefore makes the skin look healthy and youthful; however, since I have some blemishes, I use it after applying concealer to the area where I need to cover marks or patchiness. On its own it stayed for 6+ hrs on my skin, but when topped with a setting powder, I get upto 9 hrs of wear.
Pros:
1. Light on skin 2. Easy to blend 3. Great for normal to combination skin, doesn’t emphasize dry areas, covers pores 4. Great on budget as you can easily get it on discount. 5. Neutral undertones, neither too cool nor too warm. 6. SPF 15.
Cons:
1. Very light coverage, doesn’t hide marks/pigmentation 2. Those who are fond of mattifying foundations might not like this.

IMBB (Indian Makeup and Beauty Blog) Review About IMBB: Started in 2009 as just a makeup blog, makeupandbeauty.com (a.k.a. IMBB) has today grown into an international makeup, beauty and fashion community. Running three powerful blogs successfully- in India, Dubai and Philippines;- makeupandbeauty.com is already the biggest women’s women focussed blog on the internet with more than 700 writers writing on it.
The founders- Rati and Sanjeev own and manage the blogs with help from Jomol (Chief Editor), Neha (Editor) and and other like minded counterparts in Dubai and Philippines. They also manage a fashion blog (handled by Rati herself) and fitness blog (handled by Nidhi), both of which offer quality content to readers. They are a source of inspiration to many.(PS: I am one of them.) I love that every new latest launch gets covered quickly on the blog..and they are constantly innovating with new ideas and things..and do not let boredom creep in, on the blog. I like the fact that anyone with a pen (or for that matter, a keyboard) gets an opportunity to write and review products. However, the resulting decline in the quality of posts would have been avoided. My humble suggestion would be to tighten the quality filter for third party reviewers. I first discovered IMBB in 2010 and ever since have been following the blog, have commented, interacted and seen them expand and grow. Its quite commendable and their hard work shows. They go out of their way to cover brands and swatches..Kudos to Rati, Sanjeev & team for pulling off such a commendable feat. Managing a blog since 3 years, I can vouch for the hard work that goes in. I have even met Rati at the recent TRESemme event and she is a very warm and sweet person. I would love to meet Sanjeev too once.
One must have stumbled upon IMBB more than once if they have ever googled anything related to makeup or beauty. I am happy to have got a chance to express my opinion about IMBB. P.S: Sponsored Review. Honest Opinion.
AVON Speed Dry+ Nail Enamel ‘Swift Sherbert’ Review & NOTD Review by Lee
Hellooooo Lovelies,
I’m really excited as this is my first post on New Love-Makeup! I really want to thank Bhumika for giving me such an opportunity. Lately I’ve been feeling very low and sick. I had just recuperated from jaundice when Mr. viral came knocking. I just feel like laying down in bed all day long with all the lights turned off. But one thing that is making me smile in my bad days is the lovely nail paint on my nails which I am going to review today. . It is a beautiful shade called Swift Sherbet’ from Avon.
Price: Rs.199/- for 8ml
Use Before 3 yrs of manufacturing
Product Description: It claims: Avon brings to you the new and improved nail wear that dries and sets in just 30 seconds! Avon’s Speed Dry + Nail Enamel gives you glamorous and flattering nails every day and for any occasion.
Avon recently launched a variety of vibrant shades in their Speed dry+ Collection. They’re very girly and cute and I cant wait to pick up atleast 5. While all the blogosphere is going gaga over the Maybelline Color Show I’m going to introduce an Avon beauty which deserves a lot more attention.
Shade Swift sherbert is a pastel milky peach which makes my nails pop. I’ve always wanted a salmon colored nail paint and this is the closest to it. It can make your hands look a bit dull and dark so those with tanned hands might want to avoid it. Though, personally I love the stark contrast of pastels against tanned/dark hands so its all about personal preference.
Packaging It comes in a small sturdy glass bottle with a black plastic handle. It contains a good amount of product with a decent brush. The brush fans out properly and I can easily cover the nail in 2 swipes.
Texture The texture is nice and of a good consistency. It isn’t watery or runny and has decent pigmentation. 2 coats will easily give an opaque finish . It’s the most pigmented pastel nail paint I have as most pastels Nps are quite sheer.
It does get patchy especially in the first coat but gives an even finish by the second. Surprisingly the 30 second drying part is true and even though I didn’t not exactly time it but it did dry very very quickly. I absolutely hate applying nail paints and waiting for hours(sure feels like it) for it to dry off so a big yay for this one!
It lasted for 3 days without chipping after which I faced minimal chipping. By day 5 it did start to chip quite a bit . However, if you apply this with a top coat you can easily get perfectly manicured nails for 5+ days.
Pros:
1)A unique pastel peach which I haven’t seen in the Indian market yet 2)Does not chip for 5 days with a top coat 3)Decently pigmented 4)Dries very quickly 5)Did not stain my nails 6)The bottle is sturdy and travel friendly
Cons:
1)Gives a patchy finish in the first coat.
Rating- 5/5
Final recommendation- Swift Sherbet is a beautiful pastel peach which grabs attention instantly. It has a nice consistency and lasts a good amount of days. It dries very quickly however it does give a patchy finish in the first coat which is easily rectified by the second coat. If you love pastels then you should definitely give this a try.
Check out the review and NOTD of another shade Orange you Quick HERE
Editor’s Note: I love them too ! They really dry quick..I totally lack the patience and hate the waiting part in drying nail paints..I have tried Orange You Quick from this range and loved it..Swift Sherbert is such a pretty pastel indeed !

Ingredients:
MRP: Rs.550/- for 30ml
It comes in a silver flat tube packaging with a black cap..and a nozzle dispensor..
Its quite thick like a foundation and is very moisturising..would work for people with dry skin..for oily skin, this would turn out to be rich…coverage is pretty ok..suitable for daily use when you don’t need heavy coverage.
It has SPF 30 and many sunscreen ingredients..it also smells a little like sunscreen..stays on for 4-5 hours after which needs touch up..since I am combination skin..my T-zone gets oily and needs touch up.
I have the shade 020 Light/Medium which is a good match for me..
Pros:
1. Nice packaging. 2. Has SPF 30 3. Perfect for dry skin. 4. Travel friendly. 5. Good for daily use..and covers sunscreen needs too.
Cons:
1. Rich for oily skin. 2. Expensive compared to other BB Creams in the market. 3. Coverage could have been better.
Overall I would say its nice to try if you have dry skin and do not need much coverage..otherwise can skip.

Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Waterproof Mascara in Blackest Black
What the Company claims: Get glamorous, big volume lashes from every angle Lashes look 100% more magnified, multiplied, amplified*. Award winning. *with two coats
Unique ultra reflective Mirror Sheen formula smoothes, reflects and magnifies every lash for dramatic, professional looking lashes.
Lash finding brush with rounded tip easily reaches every single lash for maximum dimension. Available in 2 waterproof shades: Blackest Black and Blackened Brown
Also available in 3 non–waterproof shades: Blackest Black, Black and Blackened Brown
EXPERT TIPS
How to get glamorous, big volume lashes: 1) Apply the mascara to the upper lashes from root to tip 2) Apply once again in order to build more volume and length 3) Use specially designed lash finding brush tip to capture and fan out every lash
Ingredients:
MRP: Rs.695/- for 10ml
The tube and wand comes separately in the packaging. As you can see the white wand..bristles are separate and dense.
The same way as the wand is..it separates each lash and coats each lash well..and also lengthens and combs my lashes..the wand is flexible and easy to use and get the right amount of mascara on it..the blackest black is quite a rich black color..and this stays on for whole day..and is waterproof…but did not give much pain to remove.
It does not weigh down my lashes and also gives a little curl and holds onto the curl if you have used an eyelash curler.
I really like this..I am also asked by a few if I am wearing false lashes when I have this mascara on 😀
Only issue is if 2nd coat is applied after the first dries, it starts clumping at times. So you need to apply 2 coats (if you want) quickly and let it dry later. And it feels a little dry on the lashes. And it sure is a little expensive.

Blue Nile has a creamy ink blue on one end and a creamy white on the other..I am not a fan of such blues..they look pathetic on me :/
I liked the white for the waterline though I would prefer nudes as they are more subtle..can used white at times for a few looks..
Both ends are creamy and do not tug or pull..the blue stays whole day on the upper lashline with minimal smudging..on lower lashline it wears off in 5-6 hours. When blue is used on the lower lashline, it mixes with the white in the waterline and does not look good..I would prefer using the darker color on the upper lashline only.
I would like to try the Black or Emerald (for the nude liner side). Blue is not my color.
