Sleek MakeUP is out with their new Spring 2013 collection called Aqua Collection..it consists of LE i-Divine called Lagoon, a blush in Mirrored Pink and a nail set in Deep Waves..you would see a lot of aqua blues and greens in this collection.

It is priced slightly higher at £7.99

It comes in the usual black case packaging with a mirror and 2 sided sponge applicator…the shadows are well pigmented, blend smoothly and stay on for 6-7 hours with a primer…the matte shades are a little drier and shimmery ones have some fall out though.

Sleek MakeUP i- Divine Lagoon boasts of 12 shades that pop on all skin tones..9 shimmer and 3 matte shadows..

Sassea is an aqua blue shade with gold shimmer
Deep Water is a matte grape purple
Reflection is a pale shimmery lilac
Emerald is a light emerald green
Oyster is an off white pearl..makes a good highlight
Black Pearl is deep rich black with some shimmer…gorgeous pigmentation..the best in the palette.

Pink Jewel is a rose pink with gold shimmer..very pretty shade
Sand Dollar is a warm yellow gold
Underworld is again an aqua blue with gold shimmer..but more bluer than Sassea
Sea Shell is a light copper bronze..a good neutral
Night Sky is a matte dirty purple..not that pigmented.
Ariel is a matte coral red..can double up as a pretty blush

Some of the shades are pretty pigmented while some are ok..matte shades are a little drier and less pigmented in comparision to the shimmery ones…overall a good mix of shades..

My favorites are Reflection, Oyster, Black Pearl, Pink Jewel and Sea Shell..yes I love my pinks and neutrals 😀

I had mentioned about the new launches of Colorbar HERE. The Ulimatte Mousse Foundation is one of them..



It comes in a small flat plastic jar..which is very light weight and easy to carry..has a transparent separator in between the cap and the product.

Its quite creamy and mousse like..more like a tinted moisturising cream. It blends very easily and sinks into your skin..and settles to match with your skin tone..it has a good amount of silicones..so has a velvety finish and is smooth to touch and acts as a primer too..and reduces the appearance of lines and pores a little. Gives a matte finish.

The coverage is sheer..quite light..it does not cover scars or acne spots..and you surely need a concealer over it..if you have a flawless face and just need some evenness..this would be a good foundation for your everyday use..

Pros:

1. Super creamy and easy to blend.
2. Convenient packaging..good to carry along.
3. Blends easily with your fingers.
4. Sinks into the skin and matches the skin tone well.
5. No whitish cast issues.
6. Reduces the appearance of pores and lines.
7. Acts as a primer too..and gives a velvety finish and stays well for 6-7 hours with minor touch ups.
8. Very light weight..does not feel like foundation at all.
9. Evens out skin tone.
10. Gives a matte finish..good for oily skin.

Cons:

1. Only 3 shades available.
2. Light medium coverage..you do need a concealer over it..does not cover scars or spots.
3. Dry skin would need a moisturiser underneath.
4. Jar packaging..so have to dip hands..
5. Has a good amount of silicones.

Overall its a nice foundation for everyday use..gives a very light weight feel..and you do not feel like you wearing a foundation…but just a tinted moisturising cream which gives some evenness..if you in need of a good daily wear foundation for your office, etc you should surely check this out.

Frauppiccino would suit lighter skin tones..from NC 30-37, Caffe Misto for medium skin tones..from NC 37-42..and Caramel Macchiato for NC 42 and above..

Directions and Ingredients:

I love the round shape of this quads..inspired by Giorgio Armani Beauty Eyes to Kill Eyeshadow Quads 😀 Only difference is the sponge tip applicator in this..in the centre..But the shape surely makes it attractive, easy to carry and they clasp tight..so no breakage issues..

All shadows are frost or satin finish..shimmery but not glittery..they are buttery smooth in texture and blend well..decently pigmented too..stay on for 5-6 hours without a primer..wit minimal creasing.

Shades are:

  • Frosty lavender pink
  • Satiny cranberry pink
  • Satiny pale pink
  • Frosty ivory pink

Dual sided sponge applicator is not of much use though..I did an EOTD with this quad for the Valentine’s look..check it out HERE

Pros:

1. Nicely pigmented.
2. Attractive packaging.
3. Buttery smooth in texture and blends well.
4. Stays on for 5-6 hours.
5. Cranberry pink works with many Indian outfits.

Cons:

1. I think these should have been priced around Rs.450-500/-
2. I wish there were 1-2 matte shades and a beige-ish highlighter too..that would have completed the quad…instead of similar frosty pinks.

Overall I do like these quads.the quality is nice..and they look good and work well too..only if 1-2 shades were replaced..I think I would have liked this quad more..

Do check out the blue one..its quite gorgeous.

Russian Roulette is a deep red with slight blue undertones..dupe for MAC Russian Red or Viva Glam I ? This red would suit both warm and cool skin tones equally well.

Pigmentation is just amazing…full packed color in just one swipe..it would cover pigmented lips too..Sheen ones are obviously creamy and Matte formula is also not very dry or uncomfortable..

Sheen ones stay on for 3-4 hours..and matte stays quiet longer and leaves behind a stain.

And on me..

Pros:

1. Super gorgeous shades..
2. Highly pigmented.
3. Good staying power.
4. Matte formula is not uncomfortably drying.
5. Very economical..these are the best quality lipsticks I have tried at this price..
6. Contains beeswax, castor oil and jojoba oil.

Cons:

1. Availability is an issue..they are available online HERE

No other cons I can think of..I am in love with these lipsticks..love both the shades..especially Loved Up !! Highly recommended..

Other shades I like are Tangerine Scream (dupe of MAC Morange) and Plush..

Its easy to use..and perfect to create a wing..the colors are perfect to their names..a deep black and a royal blue..

Pros:

1. Fine felt tip..quite precise and easy to use.
2. Can be carried anywhere.
3. Good enough qty.
4. Reasonably priced.
5. Dries super quick.
6. It is not water proof..but does not smear or smudge..

Cons:

1. Comes up a little sheer..and need 2-3 swipes for the color to show up.
2. Availability is an issue. Can only be ordered online.
3. I would have liked the colors to be more pigmented.

Overall I do like these for their ease of use..and good enough qty and pretty shades..only I would have preferred them to be more pigmented..

I have 003 Denim..its royal blue with silver shimmer sparkles..its very easy to use..and can be used on the go..



And there are 18 stickers..9 each of different sizes..so one can use whichever fits..some issues I had with this are..some did not fit in on my nail bed..some had extra edges..and some felt short..I somehow managed those which were close enough..still there is some part falling outside the nail bed..and the excess ends which are to be filed off..did not come out neatly 🙁


And it started chipping within 1-2 days at the tips..so obviously does not stay for 10 days as claimed..

But it has some really pretty designs..and good for some special occasion..when you want some nail art..much cheaper than the nail salons..

Pros:

1. Easy to do DIY Nail Art.
2. Can be used anywhere.
3. 18 stickers..9 each of different sizes.
4. Lots of nice designs to choose from.
5. Safe to use.
6. Easy to remove..just need to be peeled off.

Cons:

1. Did not fit well on my nails.
2. Started chipping at the tips within 1-2 days.
3. A little expensive at 299..since these are one time use..but ya cheaper than nail salons.

Overall these are good to use for some special occasion when you want some nail art..and are quite easy to use too..with some unique and nice designs to choose from..

Now this though mentioned as treatment works both as a conditioner or a deep conditioner..

I have been using this from last year..I use this around once or twice a month depending on if I need it..I try to keep it a little longer than the normal conditioner..but have not kept it 30 minutes though..

It comes in long white tube packaging..and is normal thick conditioner like in texture..has a strong red algae smell though..

It definitely helps in controlling frizz..and gives hair a nice sheen and softness..but for me it also weighed down my hair..even if I reduced the qty..it still weighed down a little..or perhaps it is meant to give a straighter sleeker look..

Pros:

1. Softens and smoothens the hair.
2. Helps in controlling frizz.
3. Has an amazing ingredient list.
4. Paraben free and cruelty free.
5. Deep conditions hair amazingly well.
6. Gives a straighter,sleeker look.
7. Leaves hair shiny.

Cons:

1. Weighs down my hair.
2. I do not like the smell at all..red algae smell is the strongest here and I detest it.
3. Expensive.

Overall I quite love this conditioner..and the amazing ingredients it has..and the effect it gives to the hair..softer, smoother, frizz free hair..if you hair is more dry or curly, you did love it more..surely recommended.

It comes in a long slender packaging with the lower bottom half matching the shade..the packaging is cute..so is the bullet shape..

Thats the whole qty

It smells of cherries..which I loved..super pigmented..it stays all day long..these are obviously matte in texture and a little drying..but not uncomfortable on lips..

Infinitely Fuchsia is a cool toned bright fuchsia pink..a super pretty color..it would light up your face..it has very fine shimmer which are not that visible..would look good on all skin tones..duskier skin tones actually carry bright shades well..

Here it is on me..

Pros:

1. Cute packaging.
2. Stays on for a good 5-6 hours..even the swatch did not budge from the hand…but not 14 hours though..
3. Very pigmented.
4. Feels light on the lips
5. 16 shades to choose from..there are pretty pinks, reds and corals.
6. I like the cherry smell..
7. Does not bleed or stain or smear at all.

Cons:

1. Needs a lip balm and well moisturised lips.
2. Qty of 3.3g is quite less.

Overall I quite loved this..especially the shade….its such a pretty bright pink..I am not a fan of matte formula coz of dry lips..but this does not look too dry or uncomfy..surely recommended..

It is the most economical lip gloss offering the most qty..just like the Go Chic Lipsticks..see review HERE

I am loving the Go Chic range..

They come in a normal sleek packaging with the sponge slant applicator..

These are quite sheer and not at all sticky..but very moisturising..can replace lip balms too..

Sheer Coral is a sheer true peachy coral..no shimmer or sparkle..almost colorless on lips..stays for one-two hours without eating or drinking.

Only issue is it would not cover pigmented lips as they are quite sheer and almost colorless with just a hint of color and glossiness..

Here it is on me..

Pros:

1. Super moisturising…coz of the castor oil and beeswax.
2. Very economical.
3. Non sticky.
4. 15 shades to choose from.
5. Easy to use packaging..and travel friendly.

Cons:

1. Very sheer..would not cover pigmented lips.
2. Staying power is less..as with all non sticky lip glosses.

Overall I quite like these..I love the price and qty..and the shades to choose from..I wish they were tad more pigmented..

These are quite pigmented and moisturising..stay for 4-5 hours…only con would be they stain teeth..

Garnet is a bright orange based warm red…its super bright..and wearing this shade requires a good clean base and soft eyes..here lips would take all the attention..is a perfect red for all skin tones..since its warm and orange based..looks good worn as a stain too.
