Lotus Herbals Natural Kajal Review and how to make kajal stay longer

I love love this Kajal…I have also used the Shahnaz Hussain one before..which comes in a black case with mirror…but that does smudge and after a month or so..the shape of the bullet turns round from pointed..and then you get a very thick line on the eyes..and that smudges more..so I got his later..

What the Company claims : 100% natural kajal that relaxes & soothes eyes through the day. Smudge-proof & long lasting, it contains botanical extracts of camphor & almond oil to pamper eyes & promote lash growth.

Key Ingredients: Camphor, Liquorice and Almond oil

MRP: Rs 115/- for 4 gm

Just 1 swipe..before smudging

After smudging..fades but still remains

Pros:

1. Its jet black and one swipe gives a nice dark look.
2. Has cooling effect on the eyes.
3. It smudges less than other herbal kajals.
4. Its safe for contact lens wearers as I am also the one and does not sting at all.
5. The bullet tip stays as it is,even after months…and thats the biggest plus point of this kajal unlike the Shahnaz Hussain one which goes round and you get a super thick line which smudges all the more.
6. Economical and stays a long long time.
7. You can get it anywhere..even at normal pharmacy..so availability is never a problem.
8. Very easy to even tightline the eyes with it.

Cons:

1. The cap is small and can be misplaced..so one has to be careful..as without the cap the kajal would get contaminated and would be of no use.
2. Its not completely smudge proof as no kajal is..

Rating:

Quality: 4/5
Value for money: 4/5
Availability: 5/5

Overall rating: 4.25/5

Would I buy it again: Yes..I would.

Now onto how to make your kajal stay longer on the eyes.

1. Apply a single layer of kajal and smudge it with your ring finger on the waterline..and then apply another single layer..this would help make it stay all day long.
Remember all kajals smudge..so the more thicker the layer..the more chances of getting raccoon eyes..I know many of us like the dark jet black look..but that will not stay longer and instead spread around eyes after some time.

2. After using kajal…you can set it with a black liquid liner on top…so that would lock the color in the eyes.

3. You can set it with a matte black eyeshadow..that would create a bridge in between..and it will absorb all the moisture from the eyes..making it stay longer.

4. Apply lots of loose powder or your compact around and under the eyes…as it would help keep the humidity and oils at bay and not smudging your kajal.

5. Use a primer on the lower lashline too if need be.

6. And if it smudges even after all this..carry Q tips and a cleanser or lacto calamine and just clean the area lightly.

7. Avoid using creams around the eye area before makeup as that would make it more messy.

And thats all…you can add some more tips of yours..I would love to hear it from you all.

It has teeth like a comb to smoothen out hair, a rotating leveler to tell us the exact straight position and a lock to hold hair in place.
